"A young Farlin man, around 15 years old, was likely kidnapped by slave traders."
Gerita's eyes flashed with barely perceptible hatred as she continued, "There are many mines here, and every day, large numbers of slaves are brought in to work as laborers."
"These slave traders don't have their own spaceships. They hide in supply or cargo ships. Finding them isn't an easy task either."
"So we can find them, right?" Amir looked at her. "The money won't be an issue."
"It's not about the money. I've agreed to this. I don't have much regard for those slave traders. It's time to teach them a lesson." Without hesitating, Gerita responded directly.
"Good deeds are rewarded!" Amir was also delighted, not expecting to encounter someone with a sense of honor and justice in this place.
"Good deeds are rewarded? Ha ha, I hope so."
"Then I'll be waiting for your good news."
It was already past noon, and organizing the information would take some time.
Amir grabbed some food at the tavern and returned to the Traveler.
He opened the communicator and sent a request to Obi-Wan.
The communicator quickly connected, and a holographic projection of Obi-Wan sitting in a small hut appeared before him.
"Everything going smoothly?" Obi-Wan asked.
"As soon as I left Tatooine, I was chased by TIE fighter. Then, a small cruiser captured me with a tractor beam," Amir replied. The cruiser's location was invisible from Tatooine, so the Empire's ambush was extremely well-planned.
"Oh, glad to see you're still alive and kicking," Obi-Wan joked.
"They weren't after you, were they? Are you sure your identity hasn't been exposed?" Amir wanted to confirm.
"No," Obi-Wan said with certainty. "Someone saw the Imperial Inquisitor leave Mos Eisley today. Ha ha! I can go back to my peaceful life now."
After a moment of thought, Obi-Wan continued, "I haven't heard any news about Imperial activity in the area, and there's nothing new in Mos Eisley today either."
"Then it must be because of me," Amir said, puzzled, but he had to accept the explanation for now. "You'll have a peaceful life, but I'll be in danger, Master."
"Relax, young apprentice. If you're in danger, I'll come save you."
Hearing this, Amir's tense heart calmed down slightly.
"Thank you, Obi-Wan, but I'll try to handle it myself."
"Even though we're not face-to-face, let me show you an interesting use of the Force."
. . .
Kaiyin received the signal and took off in his TIE fighter from behind a mountain covered in vegetation.
Not far away was a hidden camp. It was difficult to see anyone inside under the huge leaves, but intense fire could be seen beneath the lush foliage.
"Coordinates transmitted! Kaiyin!"
"Copy that." Kaiyin looked at the coordinates sent by the technician on his team. They were the locations of two heavy laser turrets.
While piloting the TIE fighter, he executed a dazzling spin and flip. As the fighter ascended to a certain height during the maneuver, it rotated once, gradually tilting the laser cannon toward the ground and locking onto one of the turrets.
"Lock target." Kaiyin shouted. The TIE fighter suddenly slowed down, and the spinning maneuver caused the ship to enter a near-stationary state for an instant. By then, the system had already locked onto the target.
"Boom!" A series of laser cannon attacks caused one of the turrets to explode.
"Good shot!" a shout came over the communication channel from a teammate.
"Two fewer rotations would have been perfect," said a voice that sounded like it was coming from a can, followed by a fully armored figure flying above the jungle canopy with a jetpack on his back. Two lightweight missiles suddenly fired from both sides of the jetpack, trailing long tails as they spun toward another turret.
Another deafening explosion sounded, and the two enemy turrets were completely destroyed.
Kaiyin knew the battle was over. Nothing could threaten them now.
He circled the area in his TIE fighter, located the enemy's parked vessel, and casually fired two laser cannons, blowing up two robots before landing smoothly on the ground.
By then, the front-line battle had also largely concluded.
Kaiyin walked to the main gate and saw two groups of people facing off.
A bare-chested Twi'lek emerged from the building.
"Isn't that the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett? Why are you here destroying my camp for no reason?"
Kaiyin smiled. If he remembered correctly, they hadn't fired first. Adopting a mindset of careful observation and learning, he continued to watch the scene unfold, but kept his hand on his gun holster.
"I'm here to retrieve my ship," Boba said in a low voice. He was clad in Mandalorian armor.
"Ship? Oh! You mean that ship? I thought it looked familiar. It's yours, isn't it? Hurry up and take my brothers to the square behind you."
"The ship is in the square, right?"
"Yes, that's right. It's in perfect condition, just like before."
Boba didn't say another word, ignoring the henchman who came over to lead the way.
The scene fell silent for about five seconds before Boba spoke again.
"I remember. There's a bounty on your head." Before he could finish, three blaster beams pierced the bodies of the three people, including the Twi'lek.
The enemies didn't even see him draw his gun.
Less than a second later, Kaiyin's side began firing, eliminating everyone.
"Now it's time to divide the loot!" the Trandoshan said to Kaiyin.
"Don't let me catch you hiding anything!" Kaiyin entered the camp as well.
"You won't find anything."
Boba had already gone to the rear to find his Slave I.
. . .
Amir hung up the call and entered a meditative state, recalling what Obi-Wan had taught him.
"Jedi mind control," Amir muttered to himself. "So it's about using the Force to synchronize and replace the thoughts or images you've constructed in your mind with those of the target, causing them to hallucinate and be brainwashed."
"If you replace another person's consciousness with your own, wouldn't that create someone with the same thoughts and actions as you?" Amir imagined this and silently praised the Jedi Masters for their insight.
However, this was almost impossible to achieve. Short-term brainwashing only worked on enemies with weak willpower, and mind control was less effective than directly manipulating the body with the Force.
Just then, Gerita sent a message instructing Amir to head to the tavern.
"Is it finally done?" Amir picked up the quantity of precious metals he had prepared and stepped out of the spaceship. This was the payment he intended to make.
