Chapter 171 - Chapter 171: Yoimiya’s Heroic Form

If we're talking about the best counterfeit Vision, it's neither Venti's nor Zhongli's—it's Lucian's.

To this day, no one has realized that his Vision is fake.

Countless people have speculated about how Lucian can wield Pyro, but not a single soul has questioned the authenticity of his Vision.

Just like the title of "Prophet," when enough people believe in it, even a lie becomes the truth.

Back to the story—the Traveler arrives at Naganohara Fireworks, just in time to witness the Tenryou Commission confiscating someone's Vision.

Lumine is about to think, "So, I stepped in~"—but before she can even move, someone stops her.

[???:] "Over here, over here! Shh... just watch the show."

Enter Yoimiya in her heroic form! Lucian, of course, drew an illustration of this scene.

In the artwork, Yoimiya stands with her hands on her hips, grinning brighter than fireworks, her "Kabukimono" outfit adding to her lively, carefree charm.

"Another energetic girl, huh... tsk, this is getting hard to choose."

The others also notice that she, too, possesses a Vision—meaning the Vision Hunt Decree isn't something she can ignore.

After the Vision bearer hands over his "Vision," and the Tenryou Commission leaves, he rushes over to Yoimiya, thanking her.

[Vision Bearer:] "Miss Yoimiya, thank you so much! If it weren't for the fake you slipped me earlier, I'd have been done for!"

Now, the readers not only learn this girl's name but also why she stopped the Traveler.

She is the current owner of Naganohara Fireworks, Naganohara Yoimiya—the renowned "Kabukimono" of Hanamizaka, the undisputed "Queen of the Summer Festival."

Cloud Retainer grows intrigued. Her "Automatic Firework-Launching Divine Machine" had previously lost to a little girl from Mondstadt. Perhaps she could exchange ideas with this fireworks expert to improve her invention.

In the story, the Traveler and Yoimiya team up to rescue Masakatsu.

But during their prison break, they unexpectedly encounter the Shogunate's top general—Kujou Sara.

Lucian includes an illustration of Sara here, though Sara herself remains unaware of it.

Surprisingly, the Sara in the book is far gentler than expected. Despite discovering the prison break, she tacitly allows it.

This catches many off guard—especially the people of Watatsumi Island, who held deep prejudices against Sara, assuming her to be a cold-blooded enforcer of the Vision Hunt Decree.

Sangonomiya Kokomi strokes her chin, contemplating the possibility of "peace."

However, such a thing would only be possible after the Vision Hunt Decree and Sakoku Decree are abolished.

Unbeknownst to Sara, Lucian's book has inadvertently improved her public image. At this moment, she's busy fending off an attack from "ronin."

Shortly after leaving Inazuma City, she's ambushed by a group of them.

Bow drawn, Sara fights one against ten—and even mid-battle, she has the presence of mind to analyze the situation.

"I didn't bring any guards, and I took the main road—which is supposed to be patrolled by the Shogunate's forces. Yet, I still ran into ronin..."

This could only mean one thing: they were lying in wait. And the only one who could arrange that... was the head of the Kujou Clan.

Though Sara holds her own, she soon notices something amiss.

The enemies aren't decreasing—they're multiplying. And among the ronin, there are uninvited guests—ones doing a poor job of disguising themselves.

Their combat habits betray them: Fatui.

An ordinary person might miss these subtle tells, but Sara, as the Shogunate's "instructor," is acutely aware.

At this point, the only foreign faction still active in Inazuma is the Fatui.

Sara's brow furrows. With enemies swarming, she risks exhaustion. "Do I really have to retreat back to the city?"

Unseen in the shadows, members of the Shuumatsuban exchange glances, debating whether to intervene.

Their orders from Kamisato Ayato were to monitor Sara's movements after she left the city.

But "monitoring" sometimes also means "protecting."

Yet, before they can act, someone else crashes into the fray.

"Nine-Tails Turtle! Look at you, all pathetic!"

Arataki Itto has arrived!

After reading the book, he was furious. Even with three people "hanging" off him, nothing could stop him from marching straight to the Tenryou Commission to "pick a fight."

But along the way, he spotted Sara leaving the Kujou Estate. After spending some time convincing his gang, he finally caught up—albeit late.

"Arataki Itto?" Sara, preoccupied and unaware of his approach, is caught off guard.

"HAHAHA! Watch this! Oni King's Roar!" Ignoring her, Itto charges in, claymore raised.

"Don't be reckless!" Sara sighs, readying her bow to cover him—only to be forced into close combat as enemies close in.

"Don't worry, I've got the boss." Kuki Shinobu is here too, flanking Itto and providing support.

Though both Itto and Shinobu have lost their Visions, their combat skills remain formidable. With their help, the tide of battle shifts.

Realizing the situation is turning against them, the ronin decide to retreat.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! SEE HOW AWESOME THE GREAT ARATAKI ITTO IS NOW?!" Itto roars with laughter as the enemies flee.

Shinobu pays no mind to her boss's gloating, instead approaching Sara.

"Trouble in the Kujou Clan?" she asks.

Sara nods. "No telling if more enemies will show up. Let's move."

Without further ado, she leads the way, deciding to bring Itto and Shinobu to the Yashiro Commission—she'll explain everything on the way.

She isn't worried about them knowing. After all, if this involves Inazuma, Shikikan's book will eventually reveal it. The Kujou Clan's affairs will come to light sooner or later.

Sara sighs. "Why is the head so stubborn? Does he really think there's no turning back now?"

The first act of Inazuma's story nears its end. After rescuing Masakatsu, the Traveler relays the intel to Kamisato Ayaka.

Meanwhile, Thoma drops another clue: the Tenryou Commission is preparing for a "celebration"—or perhaps a "ceremony."

Normally, festivals and ceremonies fall under the Yashiro Commission's jurisdiction. The fact that the Tenryou Commission is handling it this time is a bad sign.

And at the story's conclusion, Lucian writes:

"The Shogun is eternal, and so too is the Shogunate's isolation."

"What manner of 'eternity' has the god who pursues it glimpsed in the eyes of her people?"

Yet, the most "extra" thing Raiden Ei is doing right now is refusing to look at the 'eternity' in her people's eyes at all.
