Chapter 360 - Chapter 360: The Possibility of Worldline Convergence, and a Man Who Knows How to Hide

---

Go buy a shuttle talisman, warp over there, temporarily pawn Loki, then those with weaker strength can warp back — wait for the fighting to wrap up, go back, and redeem him.

Whatever the outcome of the war, Loki would at least be unharmed.

Mission accomplished.

One million points — free money!

Richest Man: "If you'd rather not be pawned, you could also use the shuttle talisman to warp to another member's world first."

Richest Man: "Same logic — just wait for the war to end, then go back."

Richest Man: "That said — even though the logic checks out, we couldn't actually use this method."

Truth be told, this was just a joke.

How could Loki possibly stand by and let Asgard and Jotunheim wage their war while he alone played it safe?

In his own words — he was the great King of Asgard!

Ordinary Group Leader: "True."

Su Yunqing nodded as well.

The method was workable in theory, but Loki would never agree.

*Not in his position — don't counsel his affairs.*

The current Loki was King of Asgard — and a genuine one, with Odin's bloodline running through his veins.

The Loki who dreamed of surpassing Odin and becoming Asgard's greatest king — how could he possibly willing to sit by and play it safe alone?

Ordinary Group Leader: "If Loki actually made that call, I feel the worldline would converge back to its original state."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Thor might find his own strength through this war and save Asgard."

Ordinary Group Leader: "And then…"

What came after needed no explanation.

Loki: "No question — I will never do that."

Whether it was standing by while Asgard and Jotunheim went to war, or letting Thor reclaim his Thunder God powers and lead Asgard to victory over Jotunheim—

Neither would he permit either to happen!

Ordinary Group Leader: "Then let's just spin the wheel like always."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Three slots. Even though Loki isn't included this time, I feel White will still take one spot."

Ordinary Group Leader: "So only two slots open."

Child of Nature: "…."

Child of Nature: "Beyond the three mission-selected participants, anyone else with sufficient self-defense capability can also go."

Child of Nature: "The war between Asgard and Jotunheim is a war between two civilizations. Beyond fighting Laufey and Hela, there are countless frost giants."

Child of Nature: "Empowered by Hela's energy, they'd be worth more points."

Child of Nature: "Of course, if you're not interested in this war, you can head beyond the Nine Realms."

Child of Nature: "The Marvel universe has no shortage of powers."

Loki: "As long as it doesn't involve the Nine Realms, I have no objections."

Loki readily agreed to Baixuan's suggestion — as long as it didn't touch his domain.

What did the civilizations outside have to do with him?

The universe was full of civilizations.

As for whether some member might grab an Infinity Stone?

A few were indeed located outside Earth, but finding them was no easy feat. If they could actually track one down before the mission ended — he figured they were damn impressive.

Demon Queen: "Well then — old sis isn't holding back!"

Morgana had no interest in the Asgard-Jotunheim war. The reward was that big? She didn't exactly despise it, but split three ways it was just whatever.

What really had her馋馋 —— the Infinity Stones and such. She could only watch when it came to the Nine Realms, and finding things outside wasn't guaranteed. But other civilizations had good stuff too, not just the Infinity Stones.

*Hehehehehe.*

An irrepressible grin spread across Morgana's face.

Civilizational aid was vital for civilizational development. Surely those civilizations would agree, right?

What?

You don't agree!

*Did my agreement need your agreement?*

Ordinary Group Leader: "I'll spin it now."

The moment her words landed, a wheel materialized before everyone and began spinning rapidly.

**[Northern God's Glory]** — **[Electromaster]** — **[Ice Queen]**

In short order, three slots were filled.

Ordinary Group Leader: "White didn't get selected?"

Ordinary Group Leader: "That's not scientifically possible!"

Su Yunqing, long since accustomed to White's incredible luck, stared in utter disbelief at the result.

Richest Man: "Probably because anyone can participate this time."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Right."

Ordinary Group Leader: "If White didn't get selected in a transmigrator mission — *that* would shock me."

Ice Queen: "Being selected surprised me somewhat."

A flicker of surprise crossed Esdeath's eyes, though her expression barely shifted.

The mission only required three participants, but anyone could go.

It just meant a slightly smaller reward share.

Electromaster: "I actually got selected?"

Electromaster: "I'd already given up."

Electromaster: "I've got some things to handle — might be a bit late."

Ordinary Group Leader: "No worries."

Ordinary Group Leader: "The war won't start that quickly."

Ordinary Group Leader: "Besides, Jotunheim hasn't made a move yet. Who knows how long we'll have to wait."

Fifth Division Captain: "War only needs a single catalyst."

Fifth Division Captain: "Rather than waiting for war to arrive — better to detonate it ourselves."

Richest Man: "Direct assault?"

Richest Man: "No — that's not what you mean."

Richest Man: "Using some force to accelerate Jotunheim's movements?"

Fifth Division Captain: "Do you think Loki, given his position, needs to be proactive or reactive?"

Richest Man: "…."

Richest Man: "I actually forgot what he did."

Richest Man: "He really does need to get proactive."

Richest Man: "But are you sure you can hypnotize Laufey? In terms of senses alone, that might not be enough."

Richest Man: "Or are you thinking of using Uchiha Madara's Infinite Tsukuyomi?"

Tony had followed Aizen's logic. Odin's disappearance needed an explanation — and to turn passive into active while fabricating an excuse for Odin's vanishing, they'd need to steer Laufey in a certain direction.

Fifth Division Captain: "Don't overestimate me."

Fifth Division Captain: "Against the strong, *Mirror Flower, Water Moon* can accomplish very little."

Fifth Division Captain: "Compared to 宇宙波班, we have a more suitable candidate."

Richest Man: "Sure, I'll trust that."

Richest Man: "Who knows how much you've been hiding."

Be it *Bankai* — never once demonstrated in a memory replica — or the growth Aizen had shown since joining the chat group.

Neither were known to them.

Even the last fight between Aizen and Uchiha Madara in the virtual arena had revealed precious little.

This man — he knew far too well how to hide.
