Victoria glanced toward the door, then back at him.
"We've already taken too much time. If someone walks in right now, we really won't have any way to explain this."
Alex looked down at her, a slow, knowing smile tugging at his lips. His voice dropped into a low, teasing tone.
"Is that really what you want?" he asked quietly. "Then why are your legs still locked around me… like you're asking for more?"
Victoria's eyes widened.
Only then did she become fully aware of her own body. Her thighs were still tightly wrapped around his waist, holding him deep inside her, her heels pressing lightly against his lower back as if silently demanding he stay. Heat rushed to her face. A sharp wave of embarrassment flooded her chest as she realized how clearly her body was contradicting her words.
"I…" she started, but the rest of the sentence caught in her throat.
