"WHAT?" Alfa Flowerew growled. "What do you mean she's missing?"
"M...my alfa, we...we... we heard a loud scream... and..." "Zyban! You were in charge! Where the fuck were you?" Zyban visibly shook as Alfa's fist hit the mahogany table, making it shatter into pieces.
"If you don't find her within 24 hours, I will fucking kill you with my own two hands... no no no... with my claws... I'll rip you into fucking pieces. Understood?" Flowerew shouted.
"Y...y..yes my alfa." Zyban stuttered.
His men were also shaking with fear.
They all heard of how Arya is their Luna, just no one was allowed to acknowledge this in front of her.
They all knew that alfa was furious and when in this state, only his luna can calm him down.
"What the fuck are you waiting for.. get out." At that, Zyban and his men bolted from the office.
'Ronald, where in the mother fucking hell are you?' He mindlinked his beta.
'I'm...' 'just get here!'
Sinclair knew something terrible had happened. Alfa Flowerew never uses that kind of language, unless something heart breaking happens.
"Alfa, whaaaa..." Sinclair stopped mid sentence, staring at the mess in the office.
"That bitch took her. She's missing," Alfa's eyes were red. He was angry and afraid at the same time.
"From where?"
"Lake. The asshole couldn't do one single job... he cannot protect his Luna, how the fuck is he going to protect the pack?"
Alfa looked at him. "Ronald, what did you find out about her?"
"She's the only surviving member of the Moonstone pack, who is still loyal the the Moonstone bloodline. She has been secretly searching for Aria, but couldn't find her...." "Then how the hell did she know?"
"It is said she heard the kitchen cooks talking about Luna, and she went to see her."
"Ronald, get me Marius. And send and invitation to Lord Caspian. Tell them both that it is urgent," Alfa ordered.
"Marius? But why?"
"Just fucking get it done. Fuck your differences with Marius, I want him here and I want him here now. Understood?" Flowerew barked.
"Yes Alfa," Sinclair said, before getting out of the room.

"Isn't there anyone else from my father's pack who could be alive?" Arya asked, tears in her eyes.
"Very few remain, I was forced to come here as a slave, and many other woman did come with me, with their babies... most of them were made pack members...the others killed," Patricia replied.
"I still don't get it, why couldn't my great grandmother just save everyone? I mean she was a witch, after all,"
"She was one of the dark witches... meaning to maintain her powers, she needed to sacrifice a living soul during the full moon. After meeting your great grandfather, she stopped doing that, so by the time alfa Mark was born, she was almost completely stripped of her powers. This Moonstone..." Patricia took the stone in her palms, "has the last remaining essence of her magic powers. She had given it to your mother, the would be future Luna of Moonstone pack, and after the... old grandpa brown gave it to you."
"Patricia, is there any way I can visit the site where Moonstone pack once was?" Arya asked.
Patricia looked at her sadly, and shook her head. "No Arya. That place is now claimed by rogues, and they kill anything that enters."
"Did alfa Kane kill my grandpa?"
"No, he died naturally. But before his funeral, alfa Kane had set up security to catch you. If you would have come, you wouldn't have gotten out!"
"Patricia, if things don't go as planned, I will need help in bringing Alfa Flowerew down. Are there any Moonstone pack allies still out there?" Arya asked, thoughtfully.
"Arya, Alfa Flowerew is your mate! You cannot kill him," Patricia said, shocked as to how she could think about that.
Of course Arya doesn't know the pull of the mate bond, as she hasn't met her wolf yet, but killing your own mate? It's like killing your better half.
"Is alfa Kane still alive?" Arya asked, a strange determination in her eyes.
"What are you thinking Arya?" Patricia asked, now suddenly afraid.
This kind of question would mean one thing only, motive is the same, just the target is different.
In any case, she'd have to fight her own mate, because Flowerew would do anything to protect his father. Whatever the result, these mates will end up killing each other.
"Just answer my question! Is Kane alive or not?" Arya was now angry. She wants to take revenge for her family. The ones who died and the ones who lived in fear.
By what she learnt, Alfa Flowerew is not a bad person; his father, however, is a different story. If anyone should die, it should be Kane, not Flowerew.
"Arya, I have a suggestion..." "Patricia, please, you're my only allie. I need to know everything about Kane and his allies and enemies. I'm here to burn this pack to the ground. You can either help me, or leave," Arya said calmly.
"I would never leave you, my princess. My loyalty lies to the Moonstone bloodline, not pack. As long as I live, I'll serve you and your children," Patricia said, feeling a little hurt. "But even I know it's a suicide mission!"
"Then maybe I need help from my wolf. Maybe it's time I learn what..."
"NO. You cannot do that. Your wolf will jump on him and start... falling in love... sex and all as soon as she smells him... not to mention he'll know we are hiding here!" Patricia exclaimed.
"I have to get my team out of here, and find Rebecca..."
"I know where they are!" Patricia said.
"They're alive? Oh thank God. Where are they?" Arya asked, hope lite her eyes.
She was so afraid that Alfa had killed then. She also knew her team would be under tight security. It would be near impossible to get to them. Her only hope was they are safe, and Flowerew didn't do anything to them.
Arya knew it would be no use hiding now, since Alfa Flowerew had already predicted her to be his mate, as Patricia had told her.
She has to find a way out of the border without been detected. It would be the only way she would be able to save Rebecca and her team. She also knew she has to stay, because leaving would mean certain death to anyone who helps her. Maybe if she accepts herself as his luna, she can save Patricia and kill Kane... but what if Patricia is right? What if her wolf betrays her? What then? She would rather die then let Alfa Flowerew touch her, let alone sleep with her...
