Chapter 21 - hunter x hunter

Haruko approached the Zoldyck estate, the familiar sense of home mixing with a weight heavier than before. The stone path stretched before him, leading to the door where his grandmother Selina awaited. Her tail swayed gently behind her—a clear sign that she, too, had awakened the Saiyan bloodline. Her eyes narrowed as they met his.

"You've been gone twelve days, and you return like this?" Selina's voice was sharp, her gaze flickering over his transformed form. "Do you think parading such power through these halls is wise? Or respectful?"

Haruko's tail twitched in response, but he remained silent for a moment before stepping inside.

Grandfather Zenny stood firm near the hearth, his presence commanding even in quiet moments. Master Keaton joined them, his expression stern as always. Keaton's voice held a sharp edge. "You risked everything by entering the Bloodline Pool World alone. Do you understand how reckless that was?"

Haruko met Keaton's gaze evenly. "It just happen so fast, i didn't even know what was happening "

The room fell silent as both elders absorbed his words, visibly surprised by the change in him—his aura denser, his presence more commanding. Zenny's voice broke through. "Haruko, I think it's time you learned something. Follow me."

They descended the grand staircase into the basement, the air growing cooler and thick with history. At the far wall towered a massive framed portrait of Zeno Zoldyck. Haruko stared, struck by the man's piercing eyes and calm, formidable demeanor.

"Our family's legacy," Zenny began, "is one of the deadliest assassins in the Hunter x Hunter world. From ancient times, the Zoldycks were infamous for their skills and ruthlessness."

Haruko listened intently as Zenny continued. "You know our world changed—everything fell apart. One of the main ancestors, Killua Zoldyck, escaped the chaos. When Killua ancestor came to this land from the mainland, fleeing an apocalyptic event, he left this portrait as a memento, a symbol of our bloodline's roots."

Zenny nodded toward the walls lined with relics and documents. "Over hundreds of generations, our assassination business evolved—into many things: government soldiers, army chiefs, and even generals."

He looked at Haruko thoughtfully. "My own name, Zenny, was formed to honor these ancestors and their legacy."

Haruko absorbed it all—the weight of his lineage settling deep within him as the echoes of history surrounded the room.

The basement was silent except for the hum of the hidden lights. The portrait of Zeno Zoldyck loomed over the gathering like a silent witness as Zenny finally spoke.

"There's no point hiding it now, Haruko," his grandfather said. "You're not the only one whose bloodline has awakened."

He shifted his weight off the cane, his voice calm but certain.

"I awakened the bloodline of Killua—that sharpened instinct, speed, and lightning-reflex nerve control. Alongside it, I carry the bloodline of the Sage Snake Immortal. Its venom-infused ki heightens perception well beyond normal sight… and makes patience my weapon."

Haruko studied him for a moment, noting how the air itself seemed to listen when Zenny spoke.

Selina stepped forward next, her tail swishing deliberately. "Mine is the blood of Vegeta—royal Saiyan resilience and raw battle power. But it's paired with the Amazon bloodline—ferocity, endurance, and a warrior's intuition. It's a combination that never yields ground… or mercy."

Her words were matter-of-fact. Haruko could tell she wasn't bragging—this was lineage, not ego.

Keaton leaned casually against one of the steel support beams, though his eyes remained locked on Haruko. "I carry the blood of Silva Zoldyck—our direct assassin ancestor. It's fused with the Deidara bloodline—the artistry and precision to turn the battlefield into a canvas of controlled destruction."

Before Haruko could respond, footsteps echoed from the staircase above.

"Haruko!"

His mother and father emerged together, their presence altering the energy in the room instantly.

His mother wasted no time. "You disappear for twelve days without sending word," she said, voice sharp as glass, "and you return looking like you've fought an army. Do you think this family won't react?"

Haruko stayed silent, letting her speak. It was only when his eyes moved downward that he noticed—her tail, furred and swaying like his own.

A Saiyan tail.

And then, it happened. Her eyes darkened, shadow bleeding into the edges of her pupils, the air around her shifting into something colder. Her posture straightened, her jaw set, and in that instant she looked predatory. Dangerous.

When she spoke again, her tone was lower. "Don't vanish without telling me again, Haruko. Not unless you want me to come find you."

The way she said it, Haruko didn't doubt she meant it.

And then—like a wave receding—the darkness in her gaze faded. Her shoulders loosened. She blinked, almost as if she'd lost a second of time.

That wasn't the same person, Haruko thought. A second personality… like Illuka, Killua's sister.

His father stepped forward calmly, his presence different from the rest—colder, more regal.

"My awakening is… old," he began. "The Royal Vampire bloodline, from the line of Rai, Lord of the Noblesse. Immortality in the making, regenerative mastery, and aura control capable of dominating entire rooms. And it is not limited to me—"

Haruko finished the thought. "The Mombami clan."

His father gave a grave nod. "All have awakened the royal vampire line, though few will ever reach its true form."

The weight in the room deepened. It wasn't just that they were all dangerous; together, they were a storm waiting to be unleashed—Saiyans, assassins, Amazons, vampires, and ancient hybrids, united under one roof.

Haruko exhaled slowly. "Then you should all know—I've received something else. A reward from my mission."

Keaton straightened. "What kind of reward?"

Haruko met each of their gazes in turn. " I can open a Bloodline Pool in any space. Anywhere And even recived the bloodline enhancement ."

That earned a still silence. Even Zenny's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Not just open one," Haruko continued, "but connect it—to another universe of bloodine ancestors."

Selina's tail went still. Zenny leaned forward over his cane. "You're telling us you can breach worlds at will…"

Haruko nodded once. " this bloodline pool

can send individual to bloodline universe time, To send them through… or go through myself."

The implications set in like a slow detonation.

Keaton was the first to speak. "That makes you more dangerous—and more valuable—than any single bloodline here. No government, no clan, no army would let a person with that ability walk free if they realized the truth."

Zenny's voice cut in, firm. "Which is why they will not realize. We keep this between us, for now. This family's enemies would burn entire cities if it meant controlling that power."
