"So what if it's big."
Lumine turned away, muttering quietly to herself.
Not that she didn't know what use it served — she did. But after everything that had just happened, she had to say something like that. Otherwise Miko would think she was a pushover.
"Oh, it has so many uses~" Watching Lumine mumble under her breath, Miko kept that same mysterious smile on her face.
She knew Lumine understood exactly what she meant. No need to spell it out.
"Then go ahead and tell me, Miko." The words were barely out of Lumine's mouth before she already regretted them.
Because after everything that had just happened, she knew perfectly well that Miko was going to say exactly those kinds of things. After all, Miko had already come right out and called her unsatisfied — anything else after that was easy pickings.
Still, she'd already asked. There was nothing to do but wait for Miko to speak.
"My, my, Lumine — you're playing dumb now, aren't you?" Seeing Lumine actually prompt her to list the uses of bigness, Miko declared outright that she was feigning ignorance.
Then, as if something had just occurred to her, Miko continued, "Wait — Lumine, don't tell me you're trying to cultivate some kind of innocent-young-maiden image?"
Lumine: "???"
She hadn't expected Miko's imagination to run that wild. Lumine was completely baffled.
Either way, she had absolutely no such intention. And besides — after everything they'd done together, multiple times at that — where exactly was this 'innocent maiden' supposed to be coming from?
"Miko, you really do have the most creative ideas."
"Ha, of course I do." Miko laughed outright at Lumine's description of her.
But a moment later she noticed that Lumine still hadn't called her 'big sis,' so she pressed on: "Now then, little sis Lumine~ call me big sis~"
"I'm also a few hundred years old, you know."
Neither agreeing nor refusing, Lumine simply pointed out that she herself had also lived for several centuries.
Wait...
Had Miko been about to say something else earlier?
The thought came to her suddenly, and Lumine realised she'd nearly forgotten entirely about whatever it was Miko had originally been about to tell her. Somehow her attention had been completely derailed.
"That little Wendy calls me big sis, you know~"
Since Lumine kept refusing to play along, Miko brought up the fact that Wendy had once called her big sis. After all, if even Wendy had done it, it was perfectly natural for Lumine to do so too.
"I don't believe you!" Lumine wasn't buying it. Then she quickly added: "Besides, Miko — were you about to say something just now? Kaito's already gone, so you should be able to tell me now."
Right now Lumine was far more interested in what Miko had been going to say. The 'big sis' business could wait.
Hmph!
She doesn't believe me...
Looks like I'll need Wendy to call me that again in front of her...
But then again...
That won't be easy.
Because Lumine didn't believe her, Miko made a mental note to get Wendy to do it again in front of her. But for now, she let it drop.
Right, what was I going to say again?
Oh, right...
After a moment's thought, Miko remembered what she'd been about to say.
"I almost forgot if you hadn't reminded me." Miko glanced around, then continued: "Wasn't it you who said it wasn't enough and you wanted more?"
Lumine: "!"
Why is she bringing that up again...
She hadn't expected Miko to bring that back up. Lumine's face flushed red in an instant.
Though compared to before, it wasn't quite as bad this time. After all, if Miko could say those things without the slightest trace of embarrassment, then there was no reason for her to be too embarrassed either.
She just wasn't Miko. She still couldn't manage to say it without her heart pounding.
"Yeah, I want more." Telling herself she couldn't let Miko get the upper hand, Lumine nodded matter-of-factly.
She had to admit — she was curious now. Genuinely curious about what Miko was going to say.
Is she going to tell me to just pull down Kaito's pants next time?
Replaying Miko's various comments from earlier, Lumine couldn't help but wonder. She knew it sounded absurd, but for Miko — it was genuinely something she might actually say. It was even possible she'd already done exactly that herself.
"Lumine's picking up some bad habits, I see." Looking at this new, bolder Lumine, Miko approved of the change. Then she continued: "So — next time you and Kaito are doing that, don't make any moves at all. Just ask him directly what he wants you to do."
"Don't make any moves at all?"
Before Miko could even finish, Lumine jumped in.
Honestly, she hadn't expected that to be what Miko suggested.
"Exactly. You just sit on the bed and ask Kaito what he wants you to do — and you tell him that anything goes, whatever he wants." Miko nodded and laid it out in detail.
Then, as though something had occurred to her, she added: "And while you're at it, throw in some gestures — like this~"
As she spoke, Miko demonstrated a few moves, leaving Lumine blinking at her in stunned silence.
"Um... why... would you do it like that?" Watching Miko's mouth and hands both doing their respective things, Lumine asked, thoroughly flustered and confused.
She had to admit — doing any of that in front of Kaito would probably be enough to make her die of embarrassment on the spot.
"Well obviously it adds some spice to it. If you just say it flatly with nothing behind it, there's zero appeal — you understand, don't you, Lumine?"
In response to Lumine's entirely predictable reaction, Miko smiled lightly and answered her question.
"No — that's not what I'm asking about." Seeing that Miko had misunderstood her, Lumine shook her head and clarified: "What I mean is — why in front of Kaito specifically... um... why tell him anything goes? Last time, we didn't do it that way at all. Don't tell me, Miko, that you and Kaito have already..."
"Of course not — I'm always the one taking the lead, thank you very much." Understanding exactly what Lumine was implying, Miko confirmed that she was always the proactive one and had no intention of letting Kaito decide anything.
"Then why..."
"Because I feel like that guy is always half-reaching, half-holding-back. Like — if I hadn't..." Miko paused mid-sentence, opened her mouth slightly, made a gesture with her tongue, and gave Lumine a look that said 'you know what I mean.'
Lumine: "…"
So even Miko has things she won't just say out loud...
Lumine filed that observation away quietly.
"If I hadn't taken the initiative there, that guy never would have let us do that at all — wouldn't have even suggested it." Miko continued from where she'd left off.
"So this is about... wanting to see whether Kaito has any other... hmm..."
"New tricks he wants to try!"
