My personal take is that it was a good story, especially in its first 300 chapters, but the missing/deleted chapters made the experience pretty frustrating. Going forward, I'll probably steer clear of picking up very old fanfics, since authors rarely go back and re-upload chapters that get taken down, a lot of the time they've already moved on to a new story and just don't have the time or motivation to deal with the old one anymore
