Before exiting the cathedral Nancy made sure to report the two men who she suspected were beyonders.
The "magic" that the musicians had pulled off weren't any simple tricks. The church took her report seriously and quickly got to work.
...
Feynapotter City, Still street.
Nancy had rented out a cheap small room for the night on still street. The homes in this street were relatively cheaper than others, this was because of the amount of trees outside. They blocked sunlight from coming into the bedroom and also obscured the view.
Some saw this as a nice thing because it meant privacy to them, and these trees couldn't be removed because they stabilise the soil around, so removing them would cause minor landslides as the street was on a slope.
It was almost six, it was nearly time for the gathering.
Nancy was worried for... many reasons. Even though the Primordial Light had a benevolent appearance, it might have been an act. Nancy was loyal to the Earth Mother, atleast so she thought until her predicament.
She closed the curtains and made sure the door was locked tightly. Finally, she was ready.
Nancy took a seat on her bed, expecting to be pulled into that church.
...
???
Morris was basically lost, anywhere would be better than the island. He couldn't see 5 meters infront of him.
It doesn't matter, the Light will guide me.
His arms trembled every so often, but he didn't let go of the oars in his calloused hands.
The destination was uncertain.
...
Leon got out of bed and prepared himself for the gathering, now with two people.
Anything I don't know, I'll try to get the woman to answer the questions, yes, that should be the best thing i can do.
Tap!
He looked towards the window where someone was crouching and looking inside.
"Open up!"
He didn't immediately answer, reaching for the revolver tucked inside his pants while slowly creeping closer.
Leon opened the window slightly and looked at the disheveled man infront of him.
"Charlotte needs to talk to you, be there in an hour understand? Apparently it's important, has to do with us as a gang."
The disheveled man looked into Leon's minimalistic room.
"Even my room has more soul... and it's all trash."
He scoffed, patting Leon on the shoulder before dropping down to the ground and sprinting away.
Leon sighed then sat back down on the bed. He closed his eyes and clasped his hands together in a praying manner, slowly raising them to his face, then pointing his thumbs towards his eyes and pressing them against.
A dark ocean mixed with splendid colors engulfed his vision, taking him into a cathedral on a small island surrounded by an endless chaotic sea.
Beneath the ocean water were bridges that glowed a bright blue color. On the shore of the small island was a ship graveyard with all kinds of ships.
Inside the grand white cathedral Leon stood on the sanctuary with a changed appearance. Dressed in white clergyman robes with a white veil that covered the top half of his face, only showing his mouth, jaw and chin.
Under the clergyman robes were countless skeletal arms dyed in pure gold. They were all of different shapes and sizes, Leon wanted to look part human and part god.
This is the best i can come up with right now, in the future if I make any changes I can just say it's because I've regained some power.
Other than the acting method most of his mysticism knowledge was surface level, when it came to divination he could use a few forms of it, and the only ritualistic magic he knew of was spirit channelling but he never attempted it. He also knew about setting up an altar, and that was it.
He remembered last time when he tried looking into the ocean, he gained information but the backlash was too much.
Leon began rethinking his honorific name which he had been working on for a while now, he had to make sure it was perfect and pointed at him specifically, otherwise whoever chanted it would get the attention of a different deity.
...
Two figures appeared, each sat on a different pew. Their faces were covered in a light fog that made their forms incomprehensible, only The primordial Light could see the truth.
The tired Morris lowered his head, wanting to fall asleep inside the cathedral, but then he realized he was faced with a god.
Nancy who was sitting three pews behind him saw Morris's incomprehensible figure.
Another person?
Her mind was was a mess from all the thoughts.
Morris didn't have much of a reaction to the change in scenery, the place felt like his home while Nancy was anxious and nervous, compared to how she's usually confident and dominant.
"The Primordial Ancient Light;
The Omnipotent and Omniscient Sovereign of Sin Who Guides Humankind, The God That Hates Everything, Yet Loves Everything;
The Artist of Life."
"He" had revealed his honorific name. Morris didn't understand it, while Nancy repeated the words in her mind. What she was dealing with was an incredibly powerful deity, so with that in mind she had to be as respectful as one could possibly be.
A three-line honorific name...
Only deities can use a three-line honorific name.
...
Leon gazed at the two people before him trying to calm himself down to not make any mistakes, he couldn't just reveal that he was a fraud.
I'll be done for if they find out. It's hard pretending to be someone you actually aren't. This is for the best.
Now that he was standing before these two, he had no clue what he would talk about.
"The Primordial Light, is that what we should call you?"
Morris heard Nancy's voice and turned around.
Another person...
He and Nancy tried to take a closer look at eachother, but the closer they got the more strange their forms turned.
Leon smiled and nodded.
"I, go by many names."
