Natsui and Ash's group exchanged a look. With no other immediate options, following Dr. Quackenpoker's advice to attack the Mecha-Gyarados's abdomen was undoubtedly the best solution.
Seeing that they had reached a tacit understanding, they all nodded and issued their commands simultaneously.
"Charizard, use Flamethrower!"
"Pikachu! Use Thundershock!"
"Starmie, use Swift!"
"Marill, use Bubble Beam!"
The four Pokémon's moves converged on a single point. With a loud 'BOOM', the four differently colored energy blasts struck the Mecha-Gyarados, and in an instant, they shattered its outer shell!
The combined attack was extremely powerful. While piercing the armor, it also seemed to have damaged the Mecha-Gyarados's power unit. The next second, the previously menacing machine erupted in a violent explosion!

Fortunately, the explosion hadn't directly engulfed them, but had only been a side effect, causing the Magikarp to suffer only minor injuries.
And as all the Magikarp fell into the lake, a bright pillar of light suddenly erupted from the water's surface.
Then a second, a third, and a dozen more pillars of light shot up from the lake in succession.
These pillars of light shot straight up, piercing the night sky and reaching into the clouds. They not only illuminated the lake, the campsite, the forest, and the faces of the group, but also the entire Kinnow Island.
"Excellent! The Magikarp have finally begun their mass evolution!"
Dr. Quackenpoker's eyes widened, his voice tinged with joy. He ignored everything else and hurried back to the campsite to start fiddling with his machines, wanting to record it all.
As for Natsui and the others, even without Dr. Quackenpoker's explanation, seeing such a scene, they knew that under each pillar of light, there was a Magikarp about to evolve.
Feeling the vibrant energy from these pillars, Tracey murmured, "Without experience, without a trainer's help… is this the power of the Lake of Birth and Evolution? It's incredible!"
Just then, Charizard and the other Pokémon returned to their trainers' sides, watching the extremely rare scene together.
However, as he watched, Natsui began to feel that something wasn't quite right.
Compared to before, although there were now enough Magikarp to trigger a mass evolution, it was clearly not unfolding in the way they had hoped.
Sure enough, when the pillars of light disappeared, a swarm of ferocious-looking Gyarados appeared before them.

Natsui shook his head with a wry smile.
"After struggling up those waterfalls, they were captured by Team Rocket before they could even catch their breath and celebrate. Then they were caught in the crossfire of our battle and sent into a free fall. If I were them, I'd probably be even angrier."
As if to prove his point, the Gyarados had already turned their gazes toward them.
The sheer ferocity in their eyes was almost palpable.
"This is bad!" Tracey exclaimed. "They've targeted us!"
Hearing him, Ash also cried out in alarm, "Don't tell me they're blaming us for them being captured?"
There was no time to think. The Gyarados had already approached them, and over a dozen cavernous mouths opened simultaneously, terrifying energy slowly gathering within them.
Natsui's eyes narrowed; he had already recognized the move.
"It's Hyper Beam! There are too many of them! Everyone, get out of the way, now!"
With that, he grabbed Sabrina with one hand and Misty with the other and was the first to run.
Behind him, Ash also fled with Pikachu. Tracey was about to move but saw that Dr. Quackenpoker was still fiddling with his machines. He rushed forward and grabbed the old man's wrist.
"Mr. Quackenpoker! We have to get out of here!"
Hearing the panic in Tracey's voice, Dr. Quackenpoker subconsciously looked up and only then noticed the Gyarados's strange behavior.
"Huh? How did this happen!?"
He was shocked and wanted to pack up his equipment, but there was no time. Seeing this, Tracey, without another word, grabbed his arm and tried to pull him away.
"Wait! My equipment!"
However, faced with his research, which was more precious to him than his own life, Dr. Quackenpoker naturally refused to leave easily.
With a strength that came from nowhere, he broke free from Tracey's grasp, spread his arms wide, and tried to shield the equipment with his own fragile human body.
Tsk!
Natsui sighed inwardly. While admirable, this life-risking old scholar was a real headache…
But he couldn't just leave him. He shouted to Ash, who had already run ahead, "Ash! Stop running! Protect Dr. Quackenpoker!"

Just then, the dozen or so Hyper Beams were almost upon them. The moves launched by the Pokémon, like a sweeping rainbow, finally managed to collide with the Hyper Beams just before they reached the campsite.
BOOM!
The convergence of so much energy created a massive sonic boom.
At the epicenter of the energy, an even more dazzling light, like the sun, erupted.
