After leaving Cerulean Cave, since it wasn't far, Natsui didn't ride Charizard again but walked to the Cerulean City Pokémon Center.
He handed Gardevoir's Poké Ball to Nurse Joy, asking her to help treat its injuries. Natsui himself went to the Pokémon Center's restaurant and ordered lunch.
The entire restaurant was empty. Besides him, there were no other trainers.
And looking at the empty seat in front of him, Natsui sighed once again.
Sigh~
The first day without Sabrina, I miss her.
The two, who were once inseparable, were now just him. It was very hard to get used to.
Although he had called and sent messages last night, Sabrina wasn't the type to keep her phone by her side. Every time he contacted her, it would be a long time before he received a reply.

"It's like this…" Erika said softly. "Actually, I was also thinking of going to Johto these next few days to catch a few Pokémon. I thought that since you've been traveling there for many days, and I've never been to Johto, I wanted to ask you about the distribution of Grass-type Pokémon."
"You want to catch new Grass-type Pokémon?" Hearing this, Natsui pondered for a moment. "I know a little from my travels, but it's hard to explain over the phone. How about this: I'm in Cerulean City right now and will be passing through Celadon this afternoon. When I get there, let's meet and talk in person."
"Alright then, I'll see you later at the Celadon Gym!"
After hanging up, Natsui didn't think much of it. For him, since he was heading back to Johto anyway, making a special trip to Celadon City wouldn't be much of a delay.
After lunch, just then, Nurse Joy made an announcement over the broadcast, asking Natsui to come to the front desk.
Arriving at the front desk, Natsui took the Poké Ball from her, said his thanks, and released Gardevoir again.
After Nurse Joy's healing, Gardevoir's body was now without a single scratch.
"Feeling better?"
Gardevoir nodded, but seeing its somewhat downcast expression, Natsui knew it was still feeling disappointed about its recent defeat.
"It's okay," he said, comforting it with a smile. "Mewtwo's strength is unfathomable. Even a typical mythical Pokémon might not be its match. Why should you care? And our journey has just begun. You'll definitely become stronger. When that time comes, you can just challenge it again."
