'That was a good conversation.' I stood atop a tall building, gazing ahead where my next target lay.

'The U.A. is visually stunning.' I want the Big Three's Quirks from U.A., so I need to know where the dorms are.

Yes, dorms, U.A. is now a University (I changed it from a high school to a university; I read online that universities are usually larger, so keep reading as if it was always a University), so it already has dormitories for students, though they can still choose whether to use them.

It'd be more convenient if everyone was here.

So, I turned invisible, using supernatural means with Lucius and magic with the One Ring.

If I use just one, technological sensors could easily detect me, but with both combined and Nano's help, I can bypass the security, mostly robots, with ease.

I sneaked inside Jason's teleport makes everything simpler. In the original story, they also stole the school schedule effortlessly.

I reached a main computer, now, I just needed access.

'Nano, let's do this.' I connected my Suit to the local USB and let Nano work its magic.

'[Sir, I've obtained the students' addresses. Mirio and Tamaki are in the dorms, but Nejire isn't, we can reach her address tonight.]'

'Good. Create a safe route to the dorms, we can teleport through a window.' I thought for a moment. 'Where's Principal Nezu? Does he seem suspicious?'

'[He's using the computer in his office. I can't access it with my current authorization level, so I don't know what he's doing, but he shows no signs of concern.]'

'Well, he's not human, but can you read his body language? Impressive.'

'[...]' (She can't.)

'Let's copy those Quirks then. Tell me about other dorm students' Quirks you think are worth copying.' As I stealthily moved toward the dorms, a certain being was watching me.

.....

3rd Person POV

'Interesting. How did I miss this?' thought a certain creature.

Is it a dog? A mouse? A bear? No, it's Principal Nezu.

He was doing routine work when something odd happened.

A new login appeared on one of the main computers, unusual for nighttime. He checked the cameras.

No one was there. Thinking it might be a glitch, he checked again, but the computer was still in use.

He switched to thermal and night vision cameras, but nothing appeared. Then he used a sound and motion sensors.

In a society of powers, some rare abilities could deceive electronic devices and infiltrate systems.

Even so, Nezu could only track a silhouette, footsteps, and breathing, nothing more.

Pressing buttons on his computer, he issued a command.

"We have an intruder, form up silently. I'll send the details."

Some teachers, night heroes, weren't at the University, but he didn't need them all. The intruder only accessed low-level information.

Nezu wasn't too worried.

'I don't know what data he accessed. For now, let's see what he wants.'

But his concern grew as the intruder neared the dorms.

'Does he want something with the students? I must act fast. Even without knowing his intentions, I can't risk the students' safety.' Nezu began preparing to capture the intruder. 'But I can't alert him either, with that level of camouflage, he'd be hard to find if he hides.'

Despite masking his movements, Nezu didn't realize the intruder was still connected to the computer and aware of the encirclement.

.....

Max POV

'Damn, I hoped to infiltrate unnoticed, but I'll still achieve my goal. Maybe I can even talk to Nezu, he's reasonable and intelligent... though I wouldn't exactly call him a person.' I thought as I reached the 2-A dorm.

'I made a list of Quirks from other dorms to copy, but now it's just this one.' I teleported into the students' rooms, they were asleep, and I used mind control to deepen their slumber.

'It'd be bad if someone instinctively resisted the copy. They'd feel pain from forced copying and might wake up.' I had a few minutes before the encirclement closed.

I copied Mirio and Tamaki's Quirks, along with some from their classmates:

[Permeation] lets me become intangible, and [Manifest] lets me manifest physical traits of things I've eaten.

I also copied [Shadow Mimic], which lets me manipulate shadows, shape them as I wish, imitate any sound or voice I've heard, and project it from the shadows.

[Texture], which lets me copy an object's texture and apply it to other objects, people, or myself.

[Energy Catalyst], which lets me absorb kinetic, thermal, or electrical energy from nearby sources and convert it into pure energy blasts or store it to boost strength, speed, or endurance.

And finally, [Inertia], which lets me control inertia around me, now I can make sharp turns with [Turbo] like the Flash in DC.

'Time to meet Nezu. The encirclement is almost ready, but they don't know I can teleport, they've likely lost my trail.'

I slipped past their setup and headed to the principal's office.

This time, I teleported to the blind spots of cameras and sensors.

'It's much easier this way. I underestimated this world, it's set in the early 22nd century.' I reflected on my mistakes. 'The security tech here is designed to handle people with diverse powers.'

'You learn by messing up. I won't make this mistake again, my errors will be new ones.' I arrived at Nezu's door, teleported to the sofa in front of his desk, and deactivated my stealth.

I wore my black-and-blue Suit, but Nezu was too focused on the computer to notice me.

'Good to see I'm not the only one slipping up, he didn't even station a guard robot.' Since I was here to talk, I cleared my throat.

"Ahem."

"What?!?!" Nezu exclaimed, startled, he hadn't noticed someone on his sofa.

"So, it's that new vigilante from the news who invaded U.A." He processed the situation.

"Trespassing and vigilantism are crimes, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since the students seem unharmed... apparently." He took a quick sip of coffee and continued, "Why did you invade U.A.? And more importantly, why the dorms?"

It's easier to talk with Nezu. If it were Endeavor, it'd be fight first, talk later.

"First, sorry for invading your University, I was only interested in your students' Quirks." Before he could respond, I added, "My Quirk lets me copy others' Quirks. Don't worry, they feel no pain."

"Copy Quirks?" Nezu's mind flashed to one man.

'Is he related to All For One? But he copies, not steals... and the teachers say the students are fine, their Quirks intact.' Nezu asked, "So you copied my students' Quirks without consent and invaded a University for... more power?"

"Well... yes, but I can compensate them. I could teach them martial arts or offer gold bars. I'd also like to trade technologies with your University." I recalled how, in the manga's end, U.A. becomes a flying fortress, I'd love something similar.

'He won't hand me flying fortress blueprints on a silver platter, but who knows what the future holds.'

Nezu eyed my Suit curiously.

"Firstly, we're a Hero University, we don't work with vigilantes. Second, what does your Techno Suit do?"

'So he's interested in my tech. He's likely thinking about the security it could offer future heroes.' I was glad he didn't outright refuse. 'He truly has a hero's heart.'

"It's called a Hazardous Environment Suit, designed for scientists to protect against radiation, energy discharges, and blunt-force trauma when handling hazardous materials. It lets the user survive injuries that would normally be fatal, like projectiles or melee attacks, and enhances physical capabilities." I gave details to pique his interest.

"Hmm, doesn't it make you super fast too?" Nezu asked, recalling my appearances.

"That's my power. I use the Suit for extra protection." Not that I need it, it's more for the added functions, but he didn't need to know.

"This tech is impressive. Did you make it yourself?" He thought I was just another vigilante, but this tech was advanced.

"Yes, with low-quality materials. I'll upgrade it when I have time." Nezu pondered for a while, I didn't interrupt, and he reached a conclusion.

"Alright, I'll accept the tech trade, but you must stop being a vigilante and work at U.A." He extended his hand for a handshake.

"Fine, but I'll need a hero license and unlimited absences." I shook his hand. He gave me an odd look about the absences but shrugged and smiled.

"Welcome to U.A. You'll be security and occasionally an instructor or teacher." Nezu sensed that someone who built such armor couldn't be dim, likely one of the world's brightest minds.

"I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Nezu, Director of U.A. Hero University."

I removed my helmet and introduced myself.

"I'm Maximus, but call me Max."

Nezu was stunned, the mysterious vigilante looked young.

"You seem so young. How old are you?"

"Seventeen, but I assure you, I have the knowledge and strength to do the job."

Nezu's gaze softened, likely due to pulling a promising youth from vigilantism to heroism.

"So, young man, do you have a place to stay?" Nezu spoke more gently.

"No, I usually stay on the streets." I don't have a home in this world and don't need sleep, I roam all day. This way, any lie-detection Quirk would confirm my truth.

Nezu seemed to assume I was an orphan or my parents were dead.

I'm farming relationship points with his pity.

"We have housing for some teachers on campus. You can stay there as staff."

I gave Nezu my ID, no issue, as I don't plan to live in this world... maybe just vacations later.

Then, I headed to my new home in this world.

'It's been a while since I truly slept. Even with Nano's help to stay awake, it'll be nice to rest.'

.....

3rd Person POV

Meanwhile, in the U.A. University Conference Room, Nezu researched Max's history.

It wasn't a genius's tale but that of a normal boy with a Quirk that copied others' abilities, not Quirks.

He could mimic a master's martial arts or a musician's instrument skills.

A solid Quirk, he could've become a hero, but he lost his family when a villain, fleeing heroes, destroyed his home.

He was the sole survivor and fell into depression.

Nezu looked at the teachers present.

"Cementoss, Power Loader, Vlad King, what do you think of him?" Nezu asked.

"The kid's got potential. His Quirk control is impeccable, and so are his martial arts," said Cementoss, who looked... like a cement block.

"Yes, and that Techno Suit is advanced. He's definitely a genius, I can't wait to study his inventions," said Power Loader, wearing a yellow helmet shaped like a rectangular excavator claw.

"We need to see if he'll adjust to his new home. It'd be too much to make a youth like him a professor now, but he'd be a great combat and training assistant. It'd also help him socialize with peers," said Vlad King, a tall, muscular man with short pale gray hair. Despite his gruff demeanor, he cared deeply for his students.

"Alright, I'll inform the other teachers we have a new resident," Nezu concluded.

The meeting ended, and everyone dispersed.

...............

Max POV

Waking after days without proper sleep, I felt fully refreshed.

'This might be the best sleep I've had across all my lives. I need to be careful not to get addicted to staying awake for days just for a sleep like this.'

I checked the system.

'Interesting. The in-setting Gacha switched from Invincible to Boku no Hero Academia. In the future, I can use this to narrow the Gacha's scope without Specific Gacha Mode.'

This reminded me to use the in-setting Gacha in the Invincible universe.

I don't expect Viltrumite genes, but advanced tech would boost my progress.

I've started assimilating Hakase Shinonome, what a shame. I'd love a daughter as cute as her, but her intelligence is too valuable not to assimilate. I'll adopt her if I get a duplicate card.

As for Rein, I'll summon her when I return to Invincible after saving Eri.

Her power is great but limited, she can calculate the future, but if something unexpected happens, it fails fast. For example, she can predict a room's events, but a missile she didn't see could kill her.

It's not all-powerful... yet. A few Power Boost Cards could make it rival Nighteye's Quirk, or surpass it.

While thinking, I heard a knock at the door.

Opening it, I faced a man in black with a scarf like ribbons, tired half-open eyes, and messy shoulder-length black hair. He looked exhausted.

'Eraser Head (Aizawa). Nezu likely sent him because he's the teacher who values potential. He expelled an entire class for lacking it... but secretly reenrolled them.' I acted slightly surprised. 'Good to know some story points still hold. If this continues, Midoriya-chan will inherit One For All... unless All Might is sexist in this world, haha.'

"Are you the hero Eraser Head? Could I get an autograph?" I tried a friendly approach, pulling a pen and paper from my utility belt.

Aizawa glanced at me, signed the paper, and spoke.

"Principal Nezu said you're under my care. I'll assess if you've got what it takes for a hero license." His gaze sharpened. "But if you don't meet my standards, you'll have to get it the conventional way."

'Look at him, acting tough. You'd think he's not soft on his students.' If I didn't know he pressures students to push their limits, I might've bought it.

"Yes, sir... but first, I'd like to eat breakfast and tour the place." I smiled, unfazed.

He gave me a dead-fish stare, turned, and told me to follow.

.....

Some time later, we were at a combat training field where Eraser Head would evaluate me.

He'd seen brief recordings of me fighting, but they were short, I was up against small-fry.

I wasn't wearing my Suit, just U.A.'s gym uniform.

'I'm almost sure he can disable [Copy] and [Turbo], but I don't think he can affect Jason's teleport or Lucius's powers, they're supernatural, not genetic.' I mused. 'Even the One Ring's buffs and invisibility should be immune.'

I didn't plan to use powers anyway, I didn't need him knowing some were immune to his Quirk.

"Alright, kid, show me what you've got. Impress me."

I charged at him, and he activated his Quirk.

I felt my powers suppressed, a strange sensation, like something inside me was restraining them.

'[Master, Eraser Head's Quirk seems to block the neurological signature tied to Quirk activation, affecting your mind harmlessly but preventing genetic powers.]'

'So that's it. Can you mask or scramble that signature?'

'[Yes, it'll take time, but I can scramble neural impulses tied to Quirk activation, making it seem like they're coming from elsewhere or not active, preventing detection or blocking by abilities like his.]'

'Good. Do it, but don't activate it yet. I need to show I can fight without Quirks.'

This mental exchange was quick. Even with [Turbo] off, I was fast, thanks to Scout.

I noticed Aizawa wasn't using high-density weights teachers wear against students, he wasn't holding back.

He readied his capture weapon, a scarf-like fabric of steel wire alloy woven with carbon nanofibers.

He wasn't wearing goggles, as I was his only opponent.

As I got close, he launched the capture weapon at high speed. I dodged easily, still too far to be an issue.

But once I was closer, he'd have to stop trying to trap me and fight hand-to-hand.

Credit to him, he specializes in short, stealthy attacks, not direct combat, so he was fighting outside his expertise to give me a chance.

'Even without powers I will defeat him, using my items.'

I threw small balls at him. He retreated cautiously. Mid-air, they exploded into a smoke cloud.

He couldn't help but blink, restoring my powers.

I didn't use them. Sensing his mind through the smoke, I teleported a few meters behind him.

I wanted to beat him at his own game, stealth, since it was his specialty, to impress him.

If it was just about winning, this fight would've ended already, not because I'm a better fighter, but because I'm physically stronger.

I'm not All Might's level, but I'm among this world's strongest.

As the smoke cleared, I moved, fast, but not as fast as I could, just faster than Aizawa.

I was nearly silent, but his experience and intuition caught my attack.

It's thrilling to fight someone truly skilled for the first time. I had knowledge from assimilations, but this was my first real test.

Aizawa used his scarf to block my punch, which sent him crashing to the ground.

"ARGH!!"

I used telekinesis to cushion his fall.

I rushed to capture him, showing what I could do.

As I approached, he recovered and prepared for hand-to-hand.

With Nano's help, I knew every martial art in this world and Invincible's. My body wasn't fully trained, but the knowledge let me predict his moves.

"OW! OUCH! ARGH!"

I unleashed a combo, targeting joints, not hard enough to break, just to incapacitate briefly.

Aizawa was left panting on the ground.

"So, Sensei, what do you think? I can handle myself without powers."

"Gasp Yes Gasp You pass for now Gasp Take me to the infirmary Gasp My joints are killing me Gasp."

"Sorry, Sensei. This might help."

I pulled out a fingerless glove with a red light on the back and aimed it at him. A red beam connected, and his pain eased rapidly. In thirty seconds, he was fully healed, even his dry eyes hydrated. Aizawa was stunned by the device.

"You're full of surprises. You passed with honors." He spoke with a hint of pride, perhaps for teaching a bright youth.

"Thanks, Sensei. Can I get my license now?" I replied eagerly.

"Hold on. We need to test you in different environments, hostage rescues, disasters, and more."

"How long will that take?"

"Not as long as it should, but you'll manage at this rate."

'Yeah, I'm already cheating by skipping the hero course. What's a bit more time?' I decided to train and prepare to face Kai Chisaki.

I know he's traumatized and somewhat a victim, but at minimum, he's going to Tartarus without hands. If his experiments are worse than the original, I'll incinerate him to nothing.

As I spent the day on other tests, the story progressed.

...............

3rd Person POV

"You can become a hero." A tall, lanky man in an oversized white shirt spoke to a girl.

The girl began to cry, overwhelmed that her greatest hero believed in her dream.

But it didn't reach the point of crying her eyes out.

She felt so happy that another person believed in her dream, not just her friend, but the world's greatest hero too.

"You're the one who's worthy... to inherit my strength." All Might said in his true form.

"Huh?" Izumi looked at him with a tearful, confused expression.

"HAHAHA THAT EXPRESSION IS A GAS! It's just a 'suggestion' for now! Listen up, girl, 'cause your true test is just beginning..." He continued.

"IT'S SIMPLY A MATTER OF WHETHER OR NOT YOU'LL TRY YOUR DAMNEDEST TO ABSORB MY 'POWER'!" he shouted as blood dripped from his mouth.

'Your… power…?' She was still confused.

"I'm talking about my 'Quirk,' kid." He wiped the blood from his mouth and went on, "You know that weekly photo magazine Friday? They listed my Quirk as just some generic super-strength boost. I always dodge the topic with well-timed zingers in interviews."

All Might tilted his head up, hands on his face, and continued.

"You see, it wouldn't do if the almighty 'Symbol of Peace' weren't, in fact, a 'natural-born hero.'"

Then he spread his arms and said,

"My Quirk is a power, not unlike the sacred torch of legend, passed from one bearer to the next."

"Huhh!? It's a Quirk you can… inherit!?" Midoriya-chan wasn't crying anymore, just a bit confused, though less so, having befriended someone who can copy Quirks perfectly and even modify them recently.

"That's right, kid. And I've tagged you as the next in line."

"W-Wait, hold on just, what, huh, wait, hold on please hold on a second." She started overthinking the possibilities of how this Quirk worked.

"Jeez, enough, kid! Don't immediately dismiss it!!! THAT'S A BUNCH OF NONSENSE!"

"Non…"

"There's a lot I keep close to my chest, but I don't tell lies!" He looked at her seriously.

"It's the power to transfer power... and the name of that vaunted ability I've been entrusted with is none other than… ONE FOR ALL."

"One for… All…"

"One man cultivates the power, that man grants it to another, and again it is fostered, and passed down... in so doing, brave hearts with unwavering calls to save lives… CAN BURNISH THIS MIGHT!"

"Why are you giving someone like me… such an awesome power?"

"I've been searching for a successor for ages... and now I've finally come across someone I wouldn't mind giving it to!"

"You, who, despite having no Quirk, and being a mere powerless fan of heroics. You were the one who shined more than any of the so-called 'heroes'!"

Izumi's eyes welled up slightly, but she held back the tears.

Then All Might finished.

"But hey, it's still your decision to make, of course! What do you say? Haha, I'm getting' sentimental."

Midoriya-chan finally looked at the man with a determined gaze.

"Yes please…" 'I can't think of any reason to refuse, that is!!!'

"Now there's a quick reply! Just as I expected, you rascal!"

All Might spoke excitedly, adding that they'd start her training in two days.

'I really want to tell Max-kun, but I have to keep All Might's condition a secret...' She was still buzzing with excitement. 'He said he'd start training me tomorrow. I'll talk to him and try to explain without mentioning All Might's condition.'

Then the young girl joyfully headed home.

...............

In a dark room lit only by monitors and the beeping of machines, a man in a suit wore a navy-blue gas mask resembling a skull, with angular tubes on top, a wide life-support collar around his neck, and additional tubes connecting front and back, likely to aid his breathing.

The man couldn't see the monitors, blind not by birth but from fatal injuries sustained fighting the world's strongest hero, All Might.

Though fatal, his multiple Quirks kept him alive long enough for emergency surgeries in a secret location.

He couldn't view the footage, but a voice described the events.

The voice spoke of a new vigilante with a Quirk enabling high-speed running.

"Interesting. Few speedster Quirks let people move that fast." Unfortunately for him, he couldn't act now, he loved collecting powerful Quirks.

But since his fight, he'd been sustained by machines, no longer the man who once ruled the underground.

"Not the time for that. We must stick to the original plan. Once it's complete, we can seek high-quality Quirks." All For One gave orders to the voice behind the report, which continued its briefing.

...............

Inside Principal Nezu's office at U.A. University,

Aizawa discussed Max's test performance with the Director.

"He's completely precise but very mechanical. He knows many martial arts, yet it's like he has little real combat experience," Aizawa said.

"Yes, I noticed something odd but couldn't pinpoint it. It's not a major issue, more experience will let him integrate that knowledge into his own fighting style," Nezu replied, sipping his coffee.

"But what's most impressive is his intelligence. How did you feel when he used that healing device? Could it work on severe injuries?" Nezu asked, already thinking of his friend and future U.A. teacher, All Might.

"Director... I don't think it can handle severe injuries yet. I'm not sure if it was at full capacity, but the power he used on me wouldn't suffice for serious wounds," Aizawa answered. He didn't know All Might's condition, the U.A. staff would learn closer to enrollment.

"A shame... but he's young. That device could be upgraded in the future, it'd be a major medical breakthrough."

Nezu gazed out the window. 'I'll inform All Might, but I can't guarantee this device will save his life.'

...............

Max POV

'After all the tests, I finally have some time to myself.' It was time to research and upgrade my Suit.

[In Progress:

- [Frank Horrigan - 91%] [Hakase Shinonome - 17%]]

Hakase might be the toughest assimilation yet, not surprising for someone with her intelligence, capable of creating a robot with feelings and human-like behavior, a whole new level of engineering.

Not to mention the red scarf that lets animals speak, possibly even granting intelligence.

I miniaturized the Medi Gun into a fingerless glove, though it's not as potent as the original.

The main issue is that the Australium I create with [Creation] lacks its full supernatural properties and decays instantly, so I must generate it on the spot to recharge the Medi Glove.

I'll integrate this into the Suit's next update. That reminds me, Nano had her own Suit in the novel I read.

'Nano, can you make that Nano Suit from the manhwa you came from?'

'[Master, that was the Gatelinium Nano Suit, created due to a forced system update after the protagonist's death. It's not a function I have now.]'

'So you can update it now?'

'[I can, but it's better to wait until you can stabilize Australium and 9th Metal. Combining those with Gatelinium could make the armor stronger and handle future upgrades.]'

'Speaking of Gatelinium, let's base the next Suit on it. No more using scrap.'

We began assembling the new armor. Nano projected a virtual reality interface in my vision, and we planned together, using higher-quality, more advanced materials.

In Nano Machine, Gatelinium is the strongest, most untraceable metal, found in time-space rifts, rare or impossible to obtain.

Now, I can create this rare metal Nano's made of and use it for my projects. Sadly, I don't have adamantium or vibranium.

Maybe the Gacha will yield those materials for molecular analysis.

I also analyzed the Fallout 2 Power Armor from Frank Horrigan's package, along with the weapons included.

Studying the Plasma Gun, microfusion cells, and energy cells deepened my understanding of nuclear fusion, common in Invincible's advanced civilizations but not yet in Boku no Hero Academia.

The modified Power Armor with a Fusion Core, per lore, could power buildings for centuries, though in games, it lasts briefly.

That's just game mechanics, real-world nuclear fusion is virtually infinite, especially with Gacha's enhancements, making it truly endless.

Since they're from a character package, they're infinite. I swapped my Suit's Bat-Teries... haha... for a Fusion Core, added microfusion cells to my right arm with a Plasma Gun resembling Iron Man's repulsors for backup, and kept a Medi Glove on my right hand.

I designed it to generate Australium beneath the glove, avoiding manual recharges.

I distributed energy cells across the Suit to power small thrusters for better aerial control, I can already do this with telekinesis, but this is a fallback if that power fails.

'I wonder if I could do like Hakase and add a Key behind the Suit as a power source. If it can energize a robot, it could power a Suit.' I pondered possibilities.

Even though a Key on the back powering a robot makes no sense, like in Nichijou, it happens.

'Maybe it's one of those "if you can't imagine it, you can't achieve it" things, but that requires a mindset shift.'

Later, I'll create Nano Shinonome... it'll be odd having a Nano Machine in my head and a Nano Shinonome as my assistant. I'll need to name the Nano in my head eventually.

It was nearly dawn when we finished the new Suit.

The Suit is predominantly black with blue accents, featuring an Overdrive mode where the blue turns red, consuming extra energy.

Since the material was all crafted with [Creation], I embedded my genetic code, letting me use [Permeation] while wearing it.

For now, this will do, it's functional enough. I'll make the Nano Suit with more materials later. Hopefully, it won't take long.

[In Progress:

- [Frank Horrigan - 99%] [Hakase Shinonome - 21%]]

In lore, Frank wasn't really a 10 in intelligence, but as the final boss, he had 10 in all stats.

Now, his progress increases when I use his intelligence for something.

With the new Suit done, it's time to strengthen myself with my powers.

- For every milk jug you drink and finish, your bones become 5% more dense (Stacks) -

My bones are already very dense. Now, it's time to strengthen my muscles.

[Copy] isn't just for stealing or copying powers, it can fuse and modify existing ones.

I modified Muscular's [Muscle Augmentation], which lets him significantly enhance and manipulate his muscle layers until they strain his skin.

These enhanced muscles exponentially boost all physical abilities to immense levels, yielding surprising strength, speed, and durability.

Unfortunately for him, I ended the fight quickly, otherwise, it could've lasted longer if I'd let him fully use it.

I altered it to not only enhance and manipulate but also reinforce existing fibers, a secondary function already present.

I'm not making a muscle-fiber armor; I'll just keep fortifying my muscles to the max.

This fortification breaks down muscle fibers and replaces them with tougher ones throughout my body... even Max Junior... which hurts a lot.

I wanted to feel the pain, so I started without Nano's help, but she disabled my pain receptors when it became unbearable.

Now, I feel a cool sensation across my body.

I also modified [Permeation] to let light reach my eyes.

I combined [Inertia] with [Turbo], now, using [Turbo] lets me make tight turns effortlessly.

But I didn't stop there with [Turbo]. It was a running-only power, but now I can use it stationary to deliver rapid punches and kicks while standing still.

.....

I returned to the Sanctuary, not to revisit the Invincible universe, but to unlock more rooms.

So far, I have the Main Chamber, Storage (a random room for items I don't want in my Pip-Boy), Gate Room, and Experiment Room.

Now, I'll create the Armoury, Treasury, and Dressing Room.

I placed my clothes on mannequins in the Dressing Room, and my Suits, Armors (just the Power Armor for now), and weapons in the Armoury.

This lets me switch them instantly anytime.

The Treasury is empty for now, sure, I could fill it with created gold, but that'd be dull. I'll fill it over time (that's what she said).

I also opened a Workshop, where I'll craft new gear, tech, weapons, even magical potions.

In the future, I'll be Overgeared.

Actually, with Gacha's help, I plan to create a super-tech armor infused with magic, layered with special fabric, likely rune-etched.

I won't add tech upgrades like robotic limbs, but I'll keep enhancing Nano and adding functions. I want magical inscriptions on my skin with diverse powers.

I recall some works where mages use their heart as a magical core, adding inscriptions over time. I'll do that... with all my organs.

Mages in those stories risk magical explosions from too much pressure on their body.

But I'm different, I can eventually defy universal laws... I already bend some physics with [Turbo].

This is just a taste of Gacha's potential. I could skip it, lazily wait a month doing nothing, and still grow strong effortlessly.

But that'd be a pathetic life, wasting such potential out of laziness?

What if a superior being challenged me, and I lost badly because I didn't strive to improve?

That'd be a total disgrace. I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity... maybe across countless Omniverse lives.

Even the greatest beings might not have had this chance... okay, I got carried away, some might have.

But they likely slacked off later, so I'll catch and surpass them.

After this existential crisis with a touch of superiority complex, I left some tech in the Workshop and exited the Sanctuary.

I'd promised Midoriya-chan to help her train.

I'd already given her the Authentic Shaolin School Book, Water Polo Carbonated Fist, and Holy Man Moral Cultivation Code.

It was funny, those two were in Mandarin, which she couldn't read.

I know Mandarin thanks to Nano, but when I read them, she hadn't installed a language pack in my memory. I recalled that people can't use my items unless I permit it.

I asked Midoriya-chan to read Water Polo Carbonated Fist, in Japanese, but she couldn't understand due to the Gacha system.

Once I granted permission, she grasped even Mandarin.

Now I know my Gacha techniques can't be stolen, maybe reverse-engineered without my authorization.

.....

It was 6 a.m. Izumi would arrive soon. The training would initially follow Saitama's regimen, necessary for using Water Polo Carbonated Fist.

I saw news about a sludge villain capturing a student, defeated by All Might.

I hope she's still All Might's chosen, I can copy her Quirk later.

"Max-kun!" I heard a familiar voice calling from afar.

"Hello, Midoriya-chan. You seem excited about training."

"Yes, something amazing happened yesterday." She spoke eagerly.

'So she really will inherit One for All. I wonder what excuse she'll give, in the original, she couldn't come up with a convincing one.'

"I got into a mess with a sludge villain, and a retired hero saw potential in me. He wants me to succeed him, even knowing I have no Quirk!" Her story mixed half-truths with a little lie.

"Really? You're lucky. But how will he help? Does he have a Quirk that can be given?" I made a sharp guess. The key for her is hiding All Might's secret, I'm not assuming it's him.

"W-well, s-something like that." She stammered nervously at my spot-on guess.

"Good. I was planning to learn how to give my Quirks to others so I could share some with you, but you'll get one first." I feigned slight disappointment.

"Really!? Thanks! I'd still take a Quirk from you, and even with one, I want to train with you." She was thrilled I'd considered her future, even training to give her a Quirk.

"Alright, let's start. First, 100 push-ups, 100 squats, and a 10 km run. Let's go!"

We began. It's not too intense, but for someone as thin as Midoriya-chan, it was a nightmare.

Well... Rome wasn't built in a day. Even with my techniques, she needs to train to handle One for All's power.

Not everyone's a cheater like me, optimizing with Nano and Gacha.

Even though she struggled, I helped with push-ups and squats.

The run was relatively easier, though she grew pale, so I gave her water, slowing the pace occasionally.

We finished well before her school time, so we chatted.

"So, Midoriya-chan, I forgot to ask, do you have a nickname?"

"W-well, u-um, my childhood friend calls me Deku, b-but I don't like it much." She said, embarrassed.

"Really? That's a shame, it sounds cute." I continued, "It's close to 'dekiru' (できる), meaning 'to be able' or 'to do something.'"

"I am Deku!" she declared instantly, face red.

We talked on her way home. She bravely shared that "Deku" was a derogatory nickname from her childhood friend.

"Are you sure she's really a friend, not a bully?" Knowing it all, I asked the obvious, I didn't want to seem like a stalker by revealing what I knew unprompted.

"She's a friend, don't worry. She can be rude, but she has a good heart and wants to be a heroine too."

'She? Don't tell me Bakugo's a girl now too. What are the odds of that happening twice in one world?'

"So it's a rival you respect and want to surpass?"

"Yes! I admire her and her Quirk control. When I get my Quirk, I'll work hard to outdo her."

"Speaking of your future Quirk, how will you explain suddenly having one? You can't just say someone gave it to you."

"Oh! True, I hadn't thought of that." She said, nervous but thoughtful.

"And what's the power-giving Quirk?"

"...Power Boost..." She said uncertainly, unsure if she could reveal the true name, even to her friend.

"Well... since we're training, if anyone asks, just say the Quirk needed the bearer to be physically strong to handle its power. That avoids questions about its origin, it's always been in you." I offered my idea.

"Wow, you solved that so easily." She'd been anxious about explaining her Quirk.

"It's not that impressive a cover, you'd have thought of it eventually." Not in the original, at least... there, she, he, didn't give Bakugo a convincing reason.

I walked her to her door.

As we talked, her mother appeared.

"Izumi, breakfast is ready..." At the door, she saw her daughter with a handsome young boy.

"Izumi... who's he?" She asked, incredulous that her daughter, friendless except for Bakugo, was with a good-looking boy.

'Could she have finally found a suitor? I was losing hope, please let my girl succeed.' Her mother felt relieved her daughter wasn't a failure.

"Mom, this is Max, my friend. We're training in the mornings," Izumi said, excited to introduce her friend.

"Hello, Mrs. Midoriya. I escorted Midoriya-chan home for her safety," I replied respectfully.

'And he's polite too.' Izumi's mother already considered asking him to date her daughter.

"Well, now I know where Midoriya-chan got her beauty and cuteness." Naturally, I tried to win her over. Izumi's mother was a bit chubby in this universe, unlike the original.

In real life, people don't shrink when they gain weight like Mrs. Midoriya, Gran Torino, or Recovery Girl.

"Oh, you silly boy, I'm just an old lady, save your compliments for my cute daughter." Every woman likes being called pretty, and with those words, she practically gave me her blessing to pursue her daughter.

Not that I wouldn't, but I've got other priorities. I'm not strong enough to relax... though I'll take a small break before becoming super powerful. For now, I'll invest in DEKU while she's low and benefit when she's high.

"M-mom!!!" Izumi shouted, embarrassed, as her mother gave us an "Ara-Ara~" smile.

"B-bye Max, s-see you tomorrow." She said, mortified, and shut the door in a panic.

'I think I made a good first impression. Don't worry, future mother-in-law, I'll take care of Izumi.' I won't have much time in this world.

I've already copied most of the Quirks I wanted, not all, but the top ones.

Also, while building Suit MK 2, Nano located the Shie Hassaikai Yakuza hideout where Eri's held to make the Quirk-erasing drug.

That's my main goal, Quirks can be copied later, but Eri's condition might be worse than the original. Here, characters are two years older, so even if the drug isn't two years advanced, it's likely progressed.

If I wait, they might finish it before U.A. enrollment. I'm worried about what they'll do with Eri when she's no longer useful.

I've already started preparations.

.....

3rd Person POV

Mrs. Midoriya sipped her tea and glanced at her daughter.

"So, my daughter, how's your relationship with Max?" Inko Midoriya, Izumi's mother, asked with a suggestive smirk.

"Mom!!! He's just a friend, we don't have that kind of relationship!" Izumi replied desperately, her face flushing red.

"What? I only asked how your friendship's going." Inko feigned innocence, teasing her daughter was unexpectedly fun.

"Yes, Mom! He's… nice… and good… and…" She was so embarrassed she couldn't find words.

"And handsome? And kind? And muscular? And tall? And polite?" Her mother fed her the words.

"Mom! I'm going to take a bath! We'll talk later!" She fled to the bathroom, it was the first time her mother had teased her like this.

'Fufufu~ My little girl's growing up.' She truly wished for her daughter's happiness.

Max POV

Late at night, I stood atop a building, overlooking the Shie Hassaikai Yakuza compound.

We'd already mapped the area, including the tunnels. Hacking their systems was easier than U.A.'s, I even did it remotely.

I decided to start using a 9th metal batarang necklace. This 9th metal isn't the purest, but it lets me negate gravity, and magic and the supernatural, disabling some assimilated powers.

I'll use it sparingly, I don't want to lose Jason's and Soldier's immortality just to fly.

I can already fly a bit with Lucius's telekinesis, though it's better with objects… maybe I should make a platform and soar like Chad Magneto from Lego Marvel Super Heroes?

I'll try that later. Now, it's action time.

[In Progress:

- [Hakase Shinonome - 33%] [Empty]]

I fully assimilated Frank Horrigan, his strength and all. He's stronger than Captain America with the super-soldier serum.

I'm not afraid of this fight, but I won't give Overhaul a fair one. I'll rip off his hands, unsure if I'd rather see him rot in prison or kill him outright.

I'm not against killing him, it'd be a quick end for what he's done, but I'd prefer locking him in a cell for life, never seeing sunlight.

'I want to face him, and when he tries his Quirk, I'll nullify it with [Erasure].' I'm not sure if this sadism is mine or from my assimilations… probably both.

My assimilations have changed me, but not fully. I don't want to rampage killing like Lucius or hunt teens in a cabin like Jason.

Yet, when I used those bandits as test subjects, even the first time, I felt little repulsion.

Apparently, only traits I truly want from assimilations shift my mindset.

During my assessments, I asked to copy Eraser Head's Quirk. He thought about it, it cost him nothing, though it's odd for someone else to use it. He agreed.

I modified it with [Copy], now I don't need to look at the target, just know their location, to disable their Quirk.

It has no time limit, but overuse causes mental fatigue.

I'll start with Joi Irinaka, aka Mimic. His Quirk, Mimicry, lets him merge with objects, even the tunnels under the Yakuza mansion. He and Overhaul are the real threats; the rest are easy.

I considered recruiting Kendo Rappa, but he's not loyal, he'd follow only to challenge me. Over time, he might respect me, but it's too much effort for what Gacha gives me effortlessly… though I still want his Quirk. I'll do an "ORA-ORA" like Star Platinum.

I turned invisible, phased through the floor to the tunnels, and removed the batarang necklace to sense minds.

Inside, I rushed to Mimic's room. He was alone, handling papers as the group's general manager.

I knocked him out with a solid chin punch, he didn't even scream. The room's cameras are on a loop; it'll take time for anyone to notice.

I stole his Quirk, yes, stole, not copied. I don't want him using it for evil.

I tied him up in a Sanctuary room, I forgot to build a prison there, but it's the perfect spot.

With [Mimicry], I merged with the wall. Even without my genetic code, the One Ring and Nano inside me fused too.

Gacha items are part of my power, luckily, they work together.

This made navigation easier. Now, it's time for the Eight Bullets, then Chronostasis and Overhaul, who are in the same place.

First, the brute Rikiya, he's alone, pounding a massive, durable punching bag.

The walls tremble nearby. I can't knock him out fast, but a fight won't draw attention… though stopping the tremors might, though not much.

While he was distracted, I used a Shaolin Steel Leg to his neck.

"AAH!!" Rikiya staggered and fell forward.

Not wasting the chance, I delivered a Steel Leg to his groin.

'It'll hurt me more than you (blatant lie).'

"AAAARGH!!!" His scream was louder. Though dishonorable, and it is, I need to knock out this muscle wall before he absorbs my energy.

His Quirk, Energy Suck, lets him siphon stamina by inhaling strength, using it to grow size and power. He needs contact to activate it.

It's tricky, especially with Trigger boosting it.

While he writhed in pain, I unleashed multiple strikes, messing with his mind and burning him with pyrokinesis.

"AARGH!!! You bastard!!! Fight like a man!!!" Rikiya yelled, outraged.

Ambushed from behind and groin-kicked, he was utterly dishonored by this intruder.

I threw batarangs at the lights, creating the perfect setup for [Shadow Mimic], copied from a U.A. student, to trick him with sounds.

When he stood, he heard a noise from the right and attacked wildly, hoping to hit me.

With Nano's night vision, I set a trap with bat-explosives on his weak points. A

"Boom!" stopped him, he panted heavily.

Using [Turbo], I rushed in front, landing a super-fast chin punch, dropping him hard. I used the Suit's Medi Gun to keep him alive, sans his Quirk.

One down, seven to go.

Kendo Rappa, Hekiji Tengai, Deidoro Sakaki, and Shin Nemoto are together, closer.

Yu Hojo, Toya Setsuno, and Soramitsu Tabe are grouped but farther.

I headed for the closer ones and struck.

Without introduction, I ambushed the weakest, Sakaki and Nemoto.

Rappa wasn't paying attention, watching an action movie.

But Tengai, near Rappa, saw me burst from the wall at high speed, knocking out his chatting companions.

"Ouch!"

"Ow!"

"Rappa! Get ready! Someone's invading and already took out Sakaki and Nemoto!"

"Hm! A true fighter! Even with a surprise attack, if they fell in one hit, it's their fault for not taking it!" Rappa said, thrilled for a strong opponent.

"Wait!" Tengai interjected, his remaining partner. "I know him, he's that fast vigilante, but… I saw him emerge from the wall. Does he have multiple Quirks?"

He was unsure, maybe his Quirk had multiple uses.

"Sorry for the surprise on your friends, but it wouldn't be fair if they interfered," I said, readying Shaolin techniques to absorb punches without moving.

Tengai erected a golden barrier around them.

"Hey, Tengai! Drop that barrier, I want to fight!"

Tengai gave Rappa a serious look but removed him from the barrier.

"Careful, his Quirk seems highly versatile."

"Fine, I'll punch him so fast he won't use it." Rappa charged, quick for his size.

He wasn't as big as Rikiya or as annoying, but a far better, more precise fighter.

His Quirk, Strongarm, lets him rotate his shoulders at extreme speeds for a near-endless bullet-punch barrage.

But he can't sustain it long.

Prepared with my Shaolin technique, I took his punch flurry.

"Take THAT!" *Pow!*x89

His powerful strikes barely fazed me, my assimilations make me one of this world's strongest.

"My turn!" I countered with a [Turbo]-enhanced barrage, using Saitama's style.

"Consecutive Serious Punches" *Pow!*x142

I landed more hits in less time, toning down the force to avoid pulping him.

I decided to detain them, exposing their crimes and halting a Quirk-erasing drug operation.

I'll ask Nezu for help with Eri, though I want to save her, I can't stay with her now.

I'm strong in Boku no Hero Academia but can't beat a Viltrumite yet… maybe Mark, but he doesn't count, he's young for a Viltrumite, the universe's strongest before 30.

Only Tengai remains. He's sweating, not just from Rappa's defeat but because I blocked his device's signal.

"You won't get away! I warned my boss, he's coming for you!" Tengai bluffed confidently, but I ignored it, gesturing a chokehold.

"*cough* *cough* *cough*" He choked until unconscious, the barrier vanished.

'This is getting dull. Not that I want a super battle like the original, I just want this done. It's been weeks since I got my powers, yet I'm always busy.'

After stripping their Quirks, I moved to my final Eight Bullets fight.

Soon, I reached the last three. Their Quirks weren't impressive, they were chatting in a circle. I dropped from above, instantly knocking out Yu Hojo, whose Quirk produces sharp, durable crystals from his skin, and Soramitsu Tabe, whose Quirk lets him chew any solid easily.

Only Toya Setsuno stood, his Quirk letting him teleport objects to his hands.

"Who are you!? What are you doing here!?" He asked desperately, his Quirk was useless up close.

"Just passing through. Don't worry now, you'll have plenty of time later in your new home," I said calmly.

"What are you tal, -" Before he finished, I punched his chin, knocking him out.

'Two left, and they might've noticed something odd.'

I raced to where Chronostasis and Overhaul were, last ones, near Eri.

Soon, I spotted Chronostasis outside a room.

Though Overhaul's assistant, his Quirk isn't suited for combat, especially against a bulletproof Suit.

His Quirk, Chronostasis, slows anything his clock-hand hair touches.

He uses special darts with his hair to activate it, so he stood no chance when I burst from the floor, punching his chin.

'I think I'm addicted to knockouts, I can't stop. I didn't give them a fair shot.'

Even though it is a low blow, it's highly effective.

'I was anxious about this infiltration, but Rappa was the toughest, and it wasn't that hard.'

As I thought, someone approached the door. I leaped, merging with it.

A pale, narrow-built young man with shaggy auburn hair parted right, his mouth covered by a plague doctor mask, emerged.

"Chronostasis… Chronostasis, where are you?" The young man, Overhaul, was alert, his assistant vanishing without word wasn't normal, and his subordinates were too quiet.

'Something's off, the underground's too calm.' He hadn't seen me, but when the door closed, I stepped out, raising my right hand.

First time using V.A.T.S. to target someone, I didn't need to, but it's cool to use a game mechanic in reality.

Targeting his hands, I fired without warning.

"AAAARGH!!!" He felt unimaginable pain from his hands, or rather, stumps, glancing in agony and despair.

"ARGH!! NOOOO!!! MY HANDS!!! ARGHHHH!!!" Pain clouded his thoughts. I used the Medi Gun to ease it, I didn't need [Erasure]. He needs hands for his Quirk, but they're gone.

"Calm down, man. No need for such a fuss, it's just a scratch. Blow on it, it'll pass," I said cynically.

He had a moment to think.

"You! You're that vigilante who showed up recently!" He steadied himself. "Why did you do this!? And what did you do with my subordinates!?" He hid his desperation.

"Well, you don't deserve to know why. I'd rather leave you wondering 'how?' and 'why?' Your plan's ruined. As for your subordinates…" I paused for suspense. "Don't worry, you'll see them plenty in Tartarus."

"No! You can't do this! Not now! Not so close-"

Before he finished, I delivered a powerful kick, guess where? His chin, knocking him out. I threw him into my temporary Sanctuary prison, stripping his Quirk too.

Now, it's time to meet Eri. With everything done, I called Nezu, explaining and providing evidence with the original proof locations for police analysis.

I entered the room carefully.

Though dark, I saw the plush, well-kept, fragrant room perfectly.

On the bed, someone trembled under the covers. I sat at the edge, removed my helmet, and placed a hand on her.

"Hello, girl. You know anyone who needs a hero?" The trembling stopped.

This new voice, unheard before, gave her hope that someone had come to save her.

Who knows how long she'd waited, she'd thought it'd never happen.

She peeked from the covers, teary-eyed, whispering.

"You… are a hero?... You… came to save me?" She asked, disbelieving but hopeful.

"Yes, child. I've defeated the villains holding you. We can leave, just take my hand." I extended it. She reached but hesitated.

She feared triggering her Quirk, she didn't know how to use it and didn't want to hurt anyone.

"No need to worry, I can nullify Quirks. You won't hurt me," I said kindly.

"Really!?" She perked up and finally took my hand.

As she accepted, I held her. At 8 years old, two years older than the original, she was a bit heavy.

I used the Medi Gun to heal her wounds and scars, then walked to the exit with her.

Fortunately, she wasn't in horrible shape, just pale. I'd seen they'd made many drug batches, which I destroyed with the research.

Main heroes might be kind, but I don't trust the Hero Public Safety Commission.

They'd likely continue the research and keep Eri somehow, but with Nezu and probably All Might backing her, it won't happen.

I let her hold my helmet, I'll use shadows to hide my face if needed.

She eyed it curiously.

"You can wear it if you want, it's cool."

"Really!? Th-thank you, sir…"

"Call me Max, and is not sir, I'm not that old." I said a little upset "But you can call me Oni-chan (older brother)."

"O-oni-chan," she said shyly, putting the helmet on to hide.

'My gosh! So cute! I want to nibble her little horn.' Sadly, my bite's too strong.

"I'm Eri."

"No need to worry anymore Eri." I comforted her. "I'll take you to a new home where you can have fun and do all the kid things you want."

Her eyes sparkled. "Can I eat sweets?"

"Sweets are bad for teeth and health." I pulled a lollipop from my utility belt. "But you earned this, Eri-chan."

We neared a secret exit where Eri would finally be free.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay, I had multiple doctor visits last week and spent Father's Day with my family away from the computer, so I hadn't written much. I'm not done with medical stuff, so future chapters might be late too. It's not life-threatening, so I won't vanish suddenly, if I do, it'll be personal issues, and I'll note it in comments. My life's pretty smooth, so it's unlikely.

I won't set a firm date for new chapters, funny how many things delay writing, like starting the gym and suddenly getting invites to parties with great food and sweets.

Since this fanfic isn't my job, I won't prioritize it over personal life, but I won't abandon it, I write daily, so if I'm slow, just wait, and a chapter will come.

In the next chapter, he'll return to the Invincible Universe. After all, the world of Boku no Hero Academia isn't that powerful. Even the Immortal solos everyone there.

Since there's only one week left in Invincible until the new month, the Gacha will be back up and running soon.

Sorry for the long explanations, but I thought I'd give them to those who don't remember the characters' Quirks so they can get a feel for their powers.

Next chapter, I'll speed up the story. I felt it was a bit slow (even though it's just the beginning), but don't worry about the inspiration. I'd like everything that's on my mind to be quickly transcribed into text. I've already planned out how Omni-Mar will fight Invincible. How to get Angstrom Levy's power is also planned, but that's for the future.

I wrote 12,000 words, but after revising the chapter, it ended up at about 9,000.

I also reread Invincible and Boku no Hero Academia, it's been ages, and I'd dropped Boku no Hero long ago. I find the final arc bullshit and didn't like Midnight's off-screen death.

The moral that true heroes are teachers, doctors, and police feels childish. In real life, I'd agree, especially with police, but in a powered world with real heroes, it's naive, hence Midoriya getting armor to return as a hero.

Well, I know it's silly, but I promised myself every chapter would be at least 10,000 words, no matter what. I'm not sure if it'll always be 10,000 or if I'll do less someday.

On top of that, yesterday I was without power for half the day; there was a problem with my country's national electricity system. I was just finishing translating (I write some parts in my native language and some in English) when the power went out again. Anyway, I finished it at night, so I scheduled the chapter for release on Saturday.

Lastly, send ideas for Characters, Items, Perks and Mechanics (for Gacha), Powers/Abilities/Skills, Consumables, Worlds (for Travel Tickets), more Semi-Useful Powers, etc. Thanks for reading this far and give me some crystals for writing so much. (Everyone gets a free crystal daily, for those who don't know.)
