Hey guys, sorry for the little delay (LOL).
I kinda suffered a massive burnout after writing two 10k-word chapters the very first time I tried to write a fanfic. On top of that, I decided to focus on studying to get into my dream college at the Federal Institute, and guess what? I passed! My classes start this month.
Why am I explaining all this? I don't know, I guess I just like to talk too much (or write, in this case). I'll yap a bit more in the end note.
Enjoy the new chapter!
Disclaimer: I don't own anything except my OCs, and this is my first fanfic. English is my second language. I welcome constructive criticism, but please be kind to me!

3rd Person POV
Outside the Shie Hassaikai mansion, several heroes and police cars were positioned, all thanks to Nezu.
They couldn't normally do this, but the U.A. Director was extremely influential, even at a governmental level. In just a few minutes, he secured a judicial order.
Not only because Max had asked, but because of the inhumane experiments performed on a child to create a Quirk-erasing weapon.
For support, he also contacted a nearby friend: All Might.
All Might stared at the imposing facade of the mansion, fists clenched. "A child, Nezu."
"Yes." The U.A. Director replied from his shoulder, eyes fixed on the entrance. "Experiments to create a Quirk-erasing weapon. How long this has been happening right under our noses is something I'd rather not calculate right now."
"I should have known." All Might said more to himself than to the other.
"There was no way to know." Nezu paused. "But we can ensure it doesn't happen again."
All Might nodded slowly, his gaze still locked on the mansion.
"That's why we need to be more vigilant. It's good that young Max discovered this. If it had lasted longer… we're not sure we could have saved the child, mentally speaking." Nezu said from his shoulder.
"You already told me about him. His Quirk is unique, but did you check if he has any connection with… that man?" All Might asked, concerned. It wasn't new for someone to have a similar Quirk, but unique ones were rarer.
For example, Quirks can share a base, like fire, but they're never exactly the same. One hero might shoot flames from his hands, precise and controlled. Another might spit fire from his mouth, powerful but dependent on strong lungs. A third might set his entire body on fire. Each Quirk, shaped by genetics, training, and unique limitations, is distinct, making All Might's suspicion even more disturbing.
Of course, even if he were some relative of All For One, it didn't mean he'd arrest the boy. He hadn't committed any truly serious crimes, nor did he seem to have megalomaniacal dreams of dominating Japan and perhaps the world.
But still, he would need guidance so he wouldn't follow in his predecessor's footsteps.
"I found no link between him and that man… but I suppose they could have some distant relative from before Quirks began manifesting. Naturally, I didn't just take his word. I investigated his background, family history, and behavioral patterns. Young Max is… an interesting case."
"It's better this way. Even if children shouldn't be blamed for their parents' sins, they can still admire them." All Might said, more relieved now that he was certain about the matter.
"Want to meet him? He already saved the child and just sent me his location so we can pick them up."
"Well, let's go!"
With that, the World's Greatest Hero and Director Nezu went to meet them.
.....
Max POV
"Make a little wolf! A little wolf!" Eri said excitedly.
"Alright, here it is." I fulfilled her request, shaping the shadow into a small wolf.
"Howl Howl"
"Hahahaha." The little wolf started licking her face.
The wolf had no saliva, so it didn't dirty her. This Quirk reminds me of Megumi Fushiguro's Ten Shadows Technique from Jujutsu Kaisen.
'It's not that strong yet, but in the future I'll be able to create more realistic and powerful shadows. The current ones are still too fragile.' I'm using a lot of mental energy just to keep the shadow from being crushed by Eri.
But it's worth it for her happiness after everything she's been through.
While keeping an eye on Eri, I hear something calling me.
'*Whispers* A presence is approaching… powerful, but gentle. No intent to cause harm. *Whispers*'
I look up at the sky and notice a point approaching.
'Are these whispers the Voice of All Things activating? Interesting.'
Nano also warns me.
[Master, high-speed object approaching. Trajectory: Northwest, approximate altitude 800 meters, descent speed consistent with assisted human jump. ETA: 12 seconds. Intentions cannot be detected.]
'No need. I don't sense any malice, and I have an idea who this person is.'
"Eri, we have company. Don't worry, they're heroes." I tell Eri while pointing at the sky.
"Ah, more heroes!! Cool… but… they won't fall on us?" Eri asks, a bit worried.
"No, I think this guy has experience with this." I say while calculating his route with Nano just to be sure.
The point in the sky quickly becomes more visible until he lands about 15 meters from us, kicking up some dirt nearby but not dirtying us.
"AAAHHH!!" Even so, Eri still gets scared and closes her eyes.
"It's alright now! Why? Because I AM HERE!!!" All Might, in all his glory, makes his entrance with his signature phrase.
'Damn, that's really a cool entrance. I should steal a bit of that, hahaha.' I start thinking about how to make my own hero entrance.
"That ah." Hearing the voice she knew from TV, Eri quickly composed herself and opened her eyes. "ALL MIGHT!!!"
She looks extremely excited to meet the world's greatest hero.
"Hello, Max-shounen and Eri-shoujo! How are you two? Nezu told me what happened today. You were very brave, Eri-shoujo! And you, Max-shounen, did admirable work!" All Might responds with high spirits, perhaps to comfort the child who had just been rescued.
"Hello, Max. What a mess you made. Next time, give me a heads-up so we can create a more complete plan… although I suspect you wouldn't need much of our help anyway," said Nezu, his small eyes shining with that characteristic calculating intelligence.
"Yeah, I thought about that, but it would take too long to save her, and even if I said I could do everything alone, would you trust me?" I reply, shrugging.
"Certainly not, but we wouldn't have known that without you doing it alone- hm?" Suddenly Nezu looks at the girl Eri in my lap. She was staring at him with shining eyes.
"Hello, kid. I know what you must be thinking. Am I a rat? A dog? A bear? My true identity is… the Director of U.A.!" He raises his front paws near his face and makes a theatrical gesture while tilting his head slightly.
"Hahaha, how cute!" Eri laughs with joy.
'These heroes really know how to lighten the mood. I should learn a bit from them.'
Suddenly, music starts playing from a pocket in the armor.
"Dale a tu cuerpo alegría, Macarena Que tu cuerpo es pa' darle alegría y cosa buena Dale a tu cuerpo alegría, Macarena Eh, Macarena (¡ay!)" It was Macarena (Slowed + Reverb).
"Just a moment, I need to see who it is. Here, hold Eri." I say, handing her to All Might and teleporting away.
"..." All Might blinked a few times, looking at the empty space where Max had been a second ago, Eri still in his arms.
"..." Nezu was also speechless.
"Can he teleport too?" All Might asked, somewhat incredulous. Teleportation was a very rare Quirk, even if it was only the person.
"I'm learning that now too… this young man really is a box of surprises," Nezu felt that even after investigating his life, he still didn't fully understand him.
"Will he take long?" Eri asks, a bit sad.
"I'm sure he won't, Eri-shoujo," All Might answered with his characteristic smile, though inside he was still processing what he had just seen.
.....
Phones are much more advanced here than in my original world before I died. I've already bought several electronics in general. RTX? Old stuff. This world is already very advanced.
After getting to a safe distance, I finally check who was calling me on the phone I bought in this world.
The name "Giran" flashed on the screen with two buttons below.
[📞 Giran | ✅ Accept | ❌ Reject]
'Finally, he must have found everything I need before returning to the Invincible world.' I answered immediately.
"You took your time," Giran said with his hoarse, casual voice, as if commenting on the weather.
"I was busy saving a child," I replied, equally casual.
"Yeah, I heard." A pause. The sound of a puff. "Your request is ready. Take note."
"Go ahead."
"Himiko Toga. Eighteen years old, alone, wandering around Musutafu. Her parents kicked her out after she attacked a classmate. She still appears in the same neighborhood every afternoon, probably looking for informal work. Be careful, she seems dangerous and is trying to control herself."
'Toga is still alone and hasn't become a full maniac yet. Good, that makes it easier.'
"Jin Bubaigawara, Twice. This one was harder," Giran paused. "He doesn't leave home. Literally. Neighbors say they hear him arguing with himself at dawn. I'll send the address in the chat."
'Full-blown identity crisis. Poor guy.'
"Atsuhiro Sako, Mr. Compress." Another puff of smoke. "This one was the most annoying. He was seen frequenting a front bar on the outskirts of Musutafu, but he changes hideouts every three days. I sent three possible addresses, but I can't guarantee anything. If he realizes someone's after him, he disappears."
"Understood."
"Manami Aiba. This one was too easy, she doesn't leave her room. Dropped out of university a few years ago after being dumped, became a full NEET. Residential address, still lives with her parents."
'La Brava. Looks like I'll reach her before Gentle Criminal appears in her life.'
"Danjuro Tobita, Gentle Criminal." Giran gave a short chuckle. "This guy started posting videos online less than a month ago. He's still testing the waters, no fixed hideout yet, stays in cheap inns. But he's predictable, always operates within a five-kilometer radius of central Musutafu. Appears early in the morning."
"Did you get a photo?"
"Of course I got a photo. I'm a professional." A pause, offended. "I'm sending everything now." The phone vibrated several times with the information arriving.
"And Dabi?" I asked.
"I saved him for last for a reason," Giran's tone changed slightly.
"Dabi. Real name unknown, no records, no official history. Uses blue fire, absurd temperature, leaves little behind." A longer pause. "He was seen roaming the outskirts of Hosu in the last few weeks. No fixed hideout, no clear pattern yet. I only have a general area."
The phone vibrated with the coordinates.
"I'm charging extra for this one."
"Agreed."
"So that's everything," the sound of one last puff. "Ah, and since you've been a good client…"
'Bonus?'
"Something's moving in the underworld. Someone is actively recruiting, small and medium villains, some with real potential. It's not Yakuza, not the government, nothing I recognize." A longer pause. "The recruitment method is what bothers me. It's not money, not direct threats. It's something else. And when I can't identify the method, I get nervous."
"Do you have any name?"
"None that means anything yet," Giran said. "But whoever is behind this has been around for a long time. Too long for someone in the underworld not to know the name."
Then Giran ended the call.
'All For One. The League is starting to form… but I still have plenty of time until canon. I'll monitor this.'
I looked at the sky for a moment before teleporting back.
.....
I teleported back to the previous location.
"Wrong number," I said jokingly.
And the first thing I heard was my name.
"Max!" Eri leaned toward me from All Might's arms, little arms outstretched.
All Might looked at her surprised, then at me, clearly not expecting this reaction.
"Excuse me, All Might." I naturally took her into my arms.
"..." All Might was silent for a moment. "You have a way with children, Max-shounen."
"Max-oniichan used a red beam on me and I felt better!" Eri said excitedly to All Might.
All Might looked at me curiously.
"It's a healing technology," Nezu answered before I could, casually. "I've seen it in action."
'Hm. He already told All Might about the Medi Gun then.'
But I noticed All Might's gaze change slightly. It wasn't just curiosity about the technology.
'He's wondering if it could help him.'
"I also gave her some lollipops," I replied, shrugging.
Nezu observed the scene with his characteristic calculating look, but said nothing. At least for now.
"So… what's the standard procedure now? I've never gotten to this part," I say, smiling awkwardly.
"Now we need to take her to a doctor. Your healing technology is impressive, but complete exams are necessary. We need an official medical record and to know her exact condition," Nezu paused to think. "And then the police to hear her, but her testimony can wait."
He didn't want to make the child remember the terrible things she might have gone through right now.
Perhaps later, with professionals specialized in child trauma. There are heroes trained specifically for this type of situation.
While Nezu spoke, Eri hugged me a little tighter and leaned closer, as if hiding.
"It's okay, Eri. The worst is over, but we absolutely have to go to the doctor, okay?" I say, stroking her head.
"Hm…" She nodded slowly against my chest, not letting go.
"By the way, I imprisoned two people in a separate space. I'll hand them over to you later, Nezu." I had really forgotten an important part.
Mimic and Overhaul are still imprisoned in the Sanctuary.
"A separate space?" Nezu, with all his intelligence, was confused and didn't immediately understand what I had said. "Are you sure these people won't escape?"
"Absolutely. Don't worry about that. Midnight I'll tell you (Ore wa brazilian joke desu)." I'm more inclined to tell him about my power giving me random things, like my own pocket dimension with the Guild Seal.
It's not blind to tell him. Everything I've seen in this universe tells me that, like in the manga and anime, the heroes are genuinely good, at least the main ones who appear.
And I think Nezu wouldn't refuse advanced technologies and information from another universe, a universe with heroes and villains much more powerful than this one.
"Then where's our ride?" I wonder, looking around and noticing there are no roads near this exit.
"..." All Might opens his arms.
"..." I wanted to refuse, but I still don't know if I can carry a child while running, and I haven't tried teleporting with someone yet.
I can teleport with my clothes, but I haven't tried teleporting with anyone.
"Yeah, I think it's like a roller coaster. Don't worry, Eri, you'll be safe." I comfort her a bit.
"Okay!" She answers, half scared and half excited at the same time.
"Let's go!!" All Might says excitedly.
.....
Recovery Girl's Nurse's Office
The results were no surprise, but seeing them on paper still weighed heavily. Moderate malnutrition, bone development below expected levels, signs of chronic stress. Bruises in the healing stage.
The doctor mentioned, confused, that some indicators were curiously better than expected given the reported history.
After all that, Eri ended up falling asleep in the hospital bed, holding my hand.
I still don't know if I should leave now or wait a bit longer.
At least I was a little spoiled by Recovery Girl. I guess it's not every day she treats a student like a child and he doesn't mind.
"Take better care of yourself too." That was all she said before leaving the room.
We didn't talk much because taking care of Eri was the priority, so I didn't bother her, and I even got a lollipop.
When I left the room, I found Nezu next to a man I recognized. Extreme thinness, hunched posture, completely loose clothes on a skeletal body. Only his eyes gave him away, small, bright blue pupils deep in dark sockets.
'He looks even uglier in person.' I was somewhat impressed by the Number One Hero's condition.
"I assume she's already asleep, right? Young Max." Nezu asked, already knowing the answer. "I want to introduce you to a friend, Toshinori Yagi. He'll be a teacher at U.A. next year."
"Hello, Max-shounen. It's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard a lot about you from Nezu." Toshinori raised his hand for a handshake.
I stared at him in silence.
He looked somewhat nervous and confused about why I wasn't doing anything, when suddenly I said:
"All Might? What happened to you? Did you age 60 years in 60 minutes?" I asked, acting incredulous.
"H-how did you figure it out so fast!?" Even with the similarities, the two extremes of his appearance were hard to connect.
"I kind of can see the essence of people's souls." I replied with a half-truth.
Nezu gave a calculating look or a small smile. He probably already suspected that Max would recognize All Might somehow.
"Well… the truth, Max-shounen, is that five years ago I was injured in a battle against a very strong villain." All Might then slowly lifted his shirt.
The wound was disturbing even for someone who had seen worse. The left side of his abdomen was a landscape of dense, irregular scar tissue, as if the flesh had been torn and hastily patched. The surrounding skin had a different coloration, stretched in some places and sunken in others, outlining a void where organs should be.
"I lost my entire stomach and a good part of my respiratory system that day." All Might spoke in a deep tone, slowly lowering his shirt. "My left lung functions at reduced capacity. I vomit blood regularly. The best doctors in the world did everything they could to keep me alive… and they did a good job." A pause. "But keeping someone alive and keeping them functional are different things."
He looked at his own hands for a moment.
He looked at me with an expression that mixed hope with something that seemed almost discomfort.
"Actually… Nezu already told me about the healing technology you possess." All Might spoke slowly. "I'd like to know if you could help me."
A short pause.
"Of course, I'm not asking you to do this for free," he added with gentle firmness. "We can discuss some form of compensation."
It wasn't pride. It was who he was.
Toshinori Yagi had spent decades giving time, health, and safety without asking for anything in return. Receiving something so significant without offering anything would go against everything he believed. Not because he would feel diminished, but because he simply couldn't feel good knowing someone did something big for him and received nothing in return.
"Well, I don't need much money, but could you help me with your influence on certain things I need?" I said, already thinking about what I could gain. "And also help Nezu get my Hero License, it's taking too long."
"In my defense, it's not that easy if you don't even want to take the Provisional License Exam," Nezu said, feeling a bit unjustly accused.
"And in my defense, with the Shie Hassaikai, I more than proved I could pass the Provisional License Exam better than any student," I said in a slightly arrogant tone, but with enough reason that no one could argue.
"No problem, Max-shounen. By the way, have you decided on your Hero name yet? I don't remember hearing it," All Might asked curiously.
"What do you think of Paradox?" I spread my arms slightly as if presenting something grand. "I think it fits me."
"Interesting." Nezu tilted his head slightly. "I thought you'd call yourself Max Might. After all, that's how you introduced yourself after defeating Muscular at the Yaoyorozu mansion."
"What? Those words never left my mouth, and they never will again." I said, somewhat incredulous that the Director had finally made a joke. I guess I was a bad influence.
"Back to the subject." All Might said with a smile. "Can you really help me?"
"I can alleviate it a lot," I answered honestly. "The technology I have now is powerful, but it has limits. I can reduce the pain, stabilize what's left of the lung, make you vomit blood less frequently." I paused. "But replacing organs is beyond what I can do right now."
All Might remained silent for a moment, processing.
"Even so…" He said slowly. "It would be more than any doctor has managed in the last five years."
"Yeah." I agreed simply. "But in the future, I might be able to clone your organs and make you whole again. I'll need your DNA, of course."
All Might opened his mouth, closed it, and opened it again. It was clearly the first time in his life someone had said something that left him completely speechless like this, not because it was offensive, but because it was so unexpectedly specific and casual at the same time.
Nezu didn't say anything, but his eyes shone with the kind of interest he reserved for problems he hadn't solved yet.
"Well, I need to do something now. I'll talk to you guys later." I teleported before either could respond.
All Might and Nezu briefly looked at each other.
"He's a good young man," All Might said after a moment, still processing the conversation. "He just… doesn't follow the script much."
"He never did," Nezu replied calmly. "That's what makes him interesting."
A pause.
"Didn't he mention having people imprisoned somewhere waiting to be handed over to the police?" Nezu tilted his head slightly, as if he had just remembered a small but relevant detail.
All Might blinked. "…He did mention it."
The two looked at the empty hallway where Max had been a second ago.
.....
3rd Person POV
Musutafu, Shizuoka, Japan
Under the faint streetlight, she looked out of place, a beige cardigan too big over a sailor blouse, dark blue pleated skirt, blonde hair tied in buns. The clothes were too ordinary for someone seen from afar. Up close, the contrast appeared: the sadistic gleam in her feline yellow eyes, the canines she could barely hide when she smiled, the childish melody she hummed softly while walking alone at night as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
From a nearby rooftop, Max watched her in silence.
He knew about her superhuman speed and sharp instincts. A bad first impression here could complicate everything.
'It's time.'
He was dressed entirely in black, tactical shirt with pockets, hoodie over it, tactical pants. They weren't the most discreet clothes in the world, but they were comfortable and he had made them himself. Black had always been his color.
Max teleported a few meters in front of her.
"What?!" Himiko widened her eyes, freezing in place. It wasn't every day someone simply appeared out of nowhere in front of her at night.
"Hi." Max said casually, as if he had just bumped into her in a hallway. "I was looking for you. Before you ask, I'm not a stalker."
She examined him from head to toe, eyes narrowing.
"Okay. And what does a non-stalker want with me at night?"
"To hire you. And give you a home, if you want."
Himiko stayed silent for a second. Then she gave a short, humorless laugh.
"How cute." She tilted her head, smiling with her canines showing. "And what's the catch, handsome? Nothing comes this easy. Are you going to want favors? If it's what I'm thinking, you'd better prepare to bleed a lot."
"Are you going to attack me like you attacked that student?" Max asked. No smile. No irony. Just his eyes fixed on her.
The mood changed.
Himiko became serious. This wasn't some random man. He knew who she was. What she had done. Villain? Vigilante? Undercover cop?
She still hadn't committed any real villainous act. She was trying to control herself, managing to live on the streets better than expected. She had discovered she could fight when some men tried something with her in an alley, and what was left of them was quite artistic, in her opinion.
But this one knew about the student.
"You can try to catch me if you want." Max said in a calm, challenging tone, arms open.
Her eyes gleamed.
"Show-off." She crouched slightly. "Let's see if you stay like that when you're bleeding on the ground all red."
She dashed forward.
Her speed was disturbing in a specific way, it wasn't the kind you saw and processed, it was the kind you blinked and she was already somewhere else. Too small to have those legs, too light to have that momentum.
'This isn't just training.'
Max had thought about this before. Quirks didn't just modify those who possessed them; they modified all of humanity over generations. In a world where superhuman powers had existed for over a century, the human body as a species had adapted. Sharper reflexes. Musculature that responded differently. Instincts beyond what training explained. Even those without any Quirk were probably physically superior to the average human from a hundred years ago if they trained hard.
Himiko Toga was a product of that.
She reached him before most would realize she had moved.
'I'll make it a bit easier.'
Max relaxed his muscle control.
And then, Himiko bit into his trapezius like a vampire, piercing the clothes and reaching the flesh.
"*Suck**Suck**Suck*"
She was in ecstasy. It was as if the whole world had disappeared and only that taste existed.
Max stayed still. He let her.
[Master, severe damage detected in the blood vessels of the trapezius region. Recommend-]
'I see it, thanks Nano.'
"You can suck as much as you want," Max said casually, ignoring the notifications.
"I can survive without this. Actually, I have bigger plans for you. I was thinking about- AHHH FUCK!!! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO RIP THE TRAPEZIUS OFF!!!"
Max stuck his fingers between her teeth trying to loosen the grip, which was about as effective as trying to open a bear trap with bare hands.
"Sowwy~♡" Himiko murmured with her mouth still locked on his neck and Max's fingers partially inside her mouth. "Ish sho good~♡ I think you have the besht blood that exishts~♡"
She seemed genuinely drunk. Eyes half-glazed, grip tightening and loosening irregularly, completely oblivious to the fact she was biting a stranger in the middle of the street at night with his fingers in her mouth.
"Okay, I think you've drunk enough."
"Noo~♡ let me dwink mowe~♡ you meanie~♡" She protested, still with his fingers in her mouth, completely out of it, the words coming out muffled and heavily lisped.
"Are you kidding? That's enough for today, or you'll become dependent." Max was genuinely annoyed, not too much, but enough. It had been his idea, yes. He just hadn't calculated that she would try to rip off a piece along with it.
And now he had to deal with a blood-drunk girl falling asleep on the ground.
'At least I can heal myself.'
He looked at her for a second, then sighed and took some blankets from his utility belt.
'Batman is prepared. So am I.'
He settled her on the ground with the blankets, checked that she was breathing well, and placed her in his private room in the Sanctuary.
'By the way, I think I've never used the Medi Gun on myself.'
He pointed it at the swollen, bleeding trapezius and used it.
The effect was immediate, a pleasant sensation spreading through his shoulder, the throbbing decreasing in seconds. He was somewhat impressed by it.
But he was even more impressed by the notification that came right after.
[Detecting incoming formless energy in the body. Analyzing…]
[Energy identified as curative in nature. Properties: acceleration of cellular regeneration, stimulation of damaged tissues, reduction of localized inflammation. Provisional classification: externally manipulated vital energy.]
'Wait… Nano analyzes energy?'
He stood still for a moment.
'Damn. It's true. How did I forget that?'
Max was sure he had read about this function at some point. Unless… some memories were missing.
[Comparing with database… Similarities detected with Qi and Chakra, but with artificial technological origin. Distinct mechanism of action, energy directed by equipment instead of internally cultivated.]
[Initiating adaptation. Mapping energetic patterns for future use.]
[Note: absence of Australium component reduces efficiency by approximately 60-70% compared to the original equipment.]
'It reduces that much? I need to find a way to synthesize the complete version of Australium.'
Another important thing came to Max's mind.
'Nano, do you know Qi and Chakra? Can you teach me?'
[Yes, Master. However, my system only has theory. I don't have accumulation or practical use methods.]
'Too bad.'
[Master, would you like me to analyze the detected energetic patterns to develop an internal production method? The initial version would be considerably weaker than the original systems, but with continuous analysis and refinement over time it would be possible to gradually strengthen it.]
He thought for a second.
'You can start.'
[Processing… Primary method established. Current level: minimal.]
'Good. Something is better than nothing.'
The excitement didn't last long.
'My memories aren't complete.'
Had he noticed before? No. He had been moving too fast the last few days to stop and check. But now, standing on a street at night after being sucked by a girl for the first time ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), the thought landed with weight.
'I skipped several BnHA arcs, only watched the ending, and let's be honest, the ending was shit. But trying to remember Invincible now… the memories are clouded differently. I can see the beginning. I can see the end. But everything around and after the Viltrumite War is fragmented. And the worst is that the Viltrumite War is only half the story, there's still an entire second half that's even darker in my head.'
He looked at the sky for a moment.
'What else am I forgetting? And what if I've already forgotten something important? There's no way to know what I don't know I don't know.'
That was the real problem. It wasn't just forgetting, it was not knowing what he had forgotten. Any gap could be irrelevant or could be exactly the thing that changed everything.
'I'll have to trust what happens in front of me more than what I remember should happen.'

Hello again folks. I just started a Patreon. This is both to keep me motivated to write and to help me make some side income while I'm studying. If you want to read ahead and support my work, you can find me on Patreon searching for WorldHunger.
As I said before, I was focusing on my real life, chores, and studying to get into college. Now that I'm in, I start this month. Since I'll have to spend 2 hours on the bus to get there and another 2 hours to get back, I decided it's the perfect time to return to writing, especially since I won't be able to work with college being in another city.
I also took a break from reading novels and fanfics for a while, and only picked them up again recently. I even became a bit of a political schizo too, but a normal one, I swear! I honestly feel like I had some real-life character development.
I've been thinking about coming back since the last season of Invincible, but I was still too busy with my studies and all the college paperwork. Fun fact: I thought a lot about whether I should gender-swap Tech Jacket, but they basically gender-swapped him already, LOL!
Lastly, please send me your ideas for Characters, Items, Perks, Gacha Mechanics, Powers/Abilities/Skills, Consumables, and Worlds (for Travel Tickets). Even semi-useful powers are welcome!
Thanks for reading this far. Now, give me your Power Stones! They were promised to me 3,000 years ago! (And remember, everyone gets a free stone daily, for those who don't know).
