The sky was overcast, and the train station was packed. Kiro and the others were passing through the area when Sone felt a sense of foreboding and rushed inside. At that moment, something appeared above the station: a man in a white shirt that showed off his abs, gloves on his hands, gray pants full of holes, and shoes as black as darkness. He raised one hand, and the entire roof began to collapse. Sone reacted instantly and pulled out everyone he could.
Kiro noticed Sone was missing, and when he heard something crumbling, he followed the sound and found that the station roof had caved in. Sebastián and Worh caught up with him. Without a second thought, Sebastián grabbed a chunk of the fallen roof, hauled it aside, and went in.
He looked around and saw the bodies of children and adults. The sight of a child's corpse, its intestines spilled out, filled him with revulsion. He shut his eyes and looked away. He started walking, but then he came upon something even worse: the same man who had brought down the roof was holding a helpless baby by the neck. The man turned and looked at Sebastián, and a smile spread across his face.
"Come to save the day?" he asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm and malice.
Sebastián felt something stir in his mind, but he shook it off and threw a punch. The man leapt over the fist and kicked Sebastián in the face. The boy slammed into the wall and spat blood, and fury began to consume him. Then, suddenly...
The man set the baby on the ground and stomped on it. The infant's body burst, spraying blood in every direction, and some of it landed on Sebastián's face. His consciousness went dark, and his eyes closed, then opened again. Now they were orange with red pupils, and his hair bristled and turned the color of fire. Rage had taken control of his body. The man arched an eyebrow, clearly intrigued.
"How did you do that? And why are you looking at me with such fury?" he asked, his tone curious but sinister.
Before he could react, Sebastián appeared in front of him and drove a fist into his stomach. Fire spread through the man's body and burned his organs away, and he crumbled to ash. The wall behind him was blown apart by the wind from the punch. The air turned heavy, and a ring of fire traced itself around Sebastián.
Elsewhere, a train was racing along, its passengers unaware of what was happening. Sone was running to catch it, because he had realized that Boss 6 had destroyed the tracks and an abyss awaited. He curled into a ball, the spines of his hair launched him forward, and he landed in front of the train. He raised his hands, and the train slammed into him. His muscles strained, but he kept trying to stop it. The conductor spotted something in the distance and stamped on the brake, but nothing happened. The brakes were broken, and panic seized him.
"Passengers, it seems we have a technical problem with the brakes, and something up ahead doesn't look good," he announced over the microphone.
At the front of the train, Sone dug in, and at the last possible moment, he stopped it. The abyss yawned beneath his feet, but he climbed onto the roof and came face to face with Boss 6.
"Looks like Boss 5 was defeated by an acquaintance of yours. I have to kill you to secure the conquest of the universe," the Boss said, his voice calm and cold.
Sone clenched his fists, curled into a ball, and with a single strike sent the Boss flying. He crashed through the roof and out onto the surface. Sone leapt after him and caught up, landing a spinning kick in midair. The Boss hit the ground, brushed off his shoes, and then began to scream, a scream that covered a fifteen-by-fifteen-kilometer area. Sone clapped his hands over his ears.
Kiro and Worh heard the noise and raced to the scene at sonic speed, jumping up to the surface where the two stood. Kiro stamped, launched himself, and punched the Boss in the face. The Boss took the blow, his face covered in blood, but then the sun began to break through the overcast sky, and something blazing came straight at him. He looked up and saw Sebastián in fury mode, one fist wreathed in flame. The punch landed on his face, and a great wave of heat flooded the area. The ground began to melt, and the protagonists poured sweat. After a while the heat subsided, leaving only a crater full of the Boss's ashes and Sebastián on his knees. The boy opened his eyes and was shocked to see the destruction around him.
The others gathered around him, and Kiro spoke first.
"What happened to you? How did you get that kind of strength?" he asked, his tone serious.
"I have no idea, but I think my emotions are some kind of power," Sebastián answered, calm but stunned.
Kiro nodded and turned away. Sebastián and the others followed. They went down to the station and helped get the passengers off the train, and the day ended with flowers blooming and a quiet hush..
