The slap connected,but the sensation was strange, as if he had hit a block of ice—most of his force was deflected.
The blue energy then exploded against his chest,launching Tailong's massive frame backward.
The girl wasn't unscathed either; she had underestimated Tailong's strength.Though her first soul skill greatly weakened his attack, some force still impacted her,and she staggered back, half her body numb.
As the battle commenced,a black-haired girl at the back of the Tianshui Academy team began to move.
Strangely, she did not attack,but danced gracefully in place.
Her hair flowing, four soul rings flashing alternately,blue auras spread with each movement.
As she danced,a patch of dark clouds formed directly above the central arena,enveloping the entire platform.
Soon, heavy raindrops began to fall, forming a cascading water curtain.
These droplets did not touch the Tianshui girls.As they neared them, they slid away quietly.But for the Shrek Academy team, the rain was another obstacle.
Within moments, except for the frozen Ye Fan,the other six team members were soaked through.
Ye Fan shivered inside the ice spike.
