Thoughts.
Year 1520 of the Sea Circle Calendar. Creed emerged from seclusion and stepped onto the Ark Maxim, bringing Robin, Ain, and Falkor with him as they set off for Laugh Tale.
With all four Road Poneglyphs collected, and after Robin's decoding, Creed already knew Laugh Tale's approximate location.
He was extremely interested in the world treasure chest rewarded by the system.
After all, that chest might be connected to the truth of this world.
Along the way, Falkor was restless, still looking a bit sulky.
That day, it had fought the Heavenly King, and neither side had won. But after Imu's fall, that Heavenly King actually abandoned Falkor and fled. No one knew where it had hidden itself.
So the little guy kept clinging to Creed, insisting he help find the Heavenly King first.
But the Heavenly King's flying speed was absurdly fast, and it flew extremely high. For the time being, even Creed found it hard to locate the other party's hiding place, so the matter was shelved—leaving the little guy with plenty of resentment.
The Ark Maxim was fast. Before long, it had flung the Red Line behind them and went straight into the New World.
Based on the decoded information, Laugh Tale actually wasn't that far from the Holy Land.
But trying to fly there in one go wasn't so easy!
Just after leaving the Red Line, the weather suddenly changed. Not only did it become pitch-dark like there was no daylight at all, but violent winds, torrential rain, hail, and thunder all erupted at once—vicious beyond belief.
The region where Laugh Tale lay was also the most perilous sea area in the New World.
There, the weather had no four seasons. Whatever it looked like in front of your eyes was how it would look all year long!
And the geomagnetic chaos was extreme—every compass became useless.
But none of that could stump Creed. He only needed to raise the Ark Maxim to an extremely high altitude.
Yet from that great height, when you looked down, what you saw was even more shocking.
Looking down from above, the dark clouds resembled enormous spinning tops, slowly rotating around an eye of the storm. Lightning crisscrossed within them—terrifying to behold.
It was just like the typhoon satellite images Creed had once seen on TV.
And there weren't just one or two of those massive storm "tops."
There were nine of them—plus one that was ten times larger!
They rotated around something even greater, as if they were guarding it!
"Creed-sama, fly over there."
Robin held all kinds of permanent log poses, watching them sway and examining them carefully, then finally determined their orientation and pointed the way.
Up here, the geomagnetic interference wasn't as severe. With so many permanent log poses assisting, Robin could barely pick out a path.
And thankfully, Kaido, Shanks, and Big Mom all had quite a few of those permanent log poses on hand. Robin had asked each of them for them, using them for this exploration—so now they were finally paying off.
Once the landing direction was confirmed, Creed began guiding the Ark Maxim downward.
At the same time, he expanded his ROOM and his sword domain, shrouding the Ark Maxim in a double layer of protection.
With his power reinforcing it twice over, forget storms—even a meteor shower from outer space wouldn't be able to strike the Ark.
The current Creed was already a demigod-tier powerhouse. In this world, there truly wasn't any power that could surpass his!
"Ho!"
Like a stone plunging into water, the Ark Maxim pierced into the largest storm eye and began descending toward the land below.
Even with Creed's protection, the Ark Maxim still swayed a few times—proving that the storm they were facing was far fiercer than ordinary ones.
"So this is Laugh Tale… the legendary burial ground of Pirate King Roger's treasure?!"
As they stared at the gigantic island below, Creed, Robin, and Ain couldn't help but sigh.
Laugh Tale looked a little different from what Creed had imagined.
He had thought Roger's treasure island would be a beautiful place with spring-like weather all year.
Who would've guessed what lay before them was barren mountains and treacherous waters—an evil land shrouded under layers of storm clouds day and night, filled with lightning, hail, and all kinds of natural calamities.
There was even magma flowing across it!
"This is a bit troublesome."
Creed shook his head.
The harsh environment was secondary. The main issue was that he could sense extremely powerful auras.
And not just one!
They were all SSSS+ tier existences.
It even seemed like there was an aura beyond SSSS+ tier!
If Creed were alone, he wouldn't fear anything—but Robin and Ain were with him.
Especially Robin. Her strength was only SS tier. The owner of those supreme auras could kill her with a sneeze.
Right at that moment, Falkor suddenly cried out excitedly, pointing somewhere while shouting "Ying ying ying!"
Creed understood what it meant—and couldn't help freezing.
So Falkor was saying that the Heavenly King from before, Imu's beast, had fled here!
"Could it be that the other supreme existence on this island has some inexplicable connection with that Heavenly King?! Then what kind of existence could it be?!"
Creed's curiosity surged, but he didn't let Falkor charge out.
On this massive island, aside from the two supreme, peerless auras, there were also several presences comparable to SSSS-tier powerhouses.
This island was extremely dangerous.
