Yanyue Mei went to the alchemy section of the sect where the pills are stored, at least the more general ones that are easier to procure for the sect. She entered the section and immediately went to get the pills that her disciple needed, which weren't that high end as she grabbed three pills for good measure as the ones who were keeping watch at the section just made way for her.
She walked out of the building and stopped when she saw Zhu Li standing in front of the building, fidgeting in place before she froze at seeing her as she stood straight.
"Zhu Li." Yanyue Mei said to the girl.
"Lady Yanyue, how is Genshu Hao?" Zhu Li asked the lady nervously.
"He is fine. He has been healed and under my care and protection." Yanyue Mei said to the girl.
"I see. Are you bringing him some pills?" Zhu Li asked her as she did see the lady coming out of the pills section.
"Yes. Now, I don't want my disciple to wait too long." Yanyue Mei said to the girl seriously.
"I-I just wanted to know if he was okay." Zhu Li said to the lady.
"He is under my direct watch. Don't worry. Just focus on your cultivation." Yanyue Mei said to her seriously.
"As-As you say lady Yanyue." Zhu Li said to him with a nod.
The woman nodded and then walked past the girl and made her way back to her room. She entered and found her disciple sitting on the bed as he perked up as he saw her enter the room and felt slightly happy at how he acted.
"So..." Genshu Hao asked in anticipation, something which was very clear to her as she smiled at his anticipation.
'He really wanted this didn't he.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she smiled.
"I brought three of the pills. In case one isn't enough." Yanyue Mei said to him as she showed the pills.
"Oh." Genshu Hao said in surprise as he blinked.
"Now, get into position and take one." Yanyue Mei said to him as he nodded.
He got in the lotus position and took one pill and put it in his mouth and crunched it and swallowed it as he waited for it to take effect. And it did after a few seconds as he felt energy well in his body as he opened his eyes in shock as he felt something unlock inside of him as his ki surged inside of his body and he felt like he had become free.
His ki surged out of his body and covered his body in it as he felt stronger than before. The air was pushed away from his body as it created winds as Yanyue Mei watched in awe as his ki had increased and she knew that he had reached the Silver Core stage.
Genshu Hao felt more powerful than before, he could feel that the ki he now has is much more than before, and he felt the quantity being more than he had in the Copper Core stage and he also felt more in tune with himself, which kind of confused him.
But he was quite happy at the fact that he had managed to reach the next stage and then focused on himself and controlled the ki. Yanyue Mei watched as her disciple controlled his ki and with wide eyes watched as he expertly took control of it, even though it was different than before.
He took control of the ki and pulled it back inside of him as he felt his ki stay inside of his body instead of leaking out as he felt at peace as he grabbed control of his ki, due to his years of practice and training in the control of his ki, it was easier for him to take control of his ki.
He channeled it through his meridians and his body as he made sure that the paths are open and connected to his Silver Core. He felt great, and at peace as well, the feeling of his new ki was great and he felt elated. He let out a breath of air and opened his eyes as he managed to calm his ki.
"This... This feel amazing." Genshu Hao said as he looked at his hands.
Then he looked at his master and he smiled at her and Yanyue Mei couldn't help but smile back, though she also felt quite proud of her disciple for being able to tame his new levels of ki so quickly. As it would take some time for a person who had managed to ascend to another core stage to get comfortable with their new core and their new ki reserves.
'Though, it looks like he has much better ki than normal.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she could see the amount of ki he has and was certain that it was more than average.
It was not just the quantity of the ki, but also the quality and purity of it. His ki was more refined than most of the Silver Core stage, and she knew that it took some time for those who reached the stage to fully take control of it and then refine it, but her disciple was able to do those things right after he had ascended.
'Incredible. He was able to do all this immediately? The only thing he needed was the pill... Was... Was I holding him back?' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she looked at him in surprise.
After all, that was the only conclusion she could come to, as he was unable to transcend because she had not allowed him to use a pill and wanted him to ascend on his own. But if she hasn't been prideful and had instead given him the pill to help him with his cultivation, then he would've been able to ascend ages ago.
If she had done that, then he would not have been stuck at the Copper Core stage and might've been able to reach greater heights. But because she didn't allow him to use a pill, he was forced to stay in that stage for years and had to live with the fact that he was unable to ascend and he ridiculed for his lack of talent.
She clenched her fists as she came to the conclusion before she looked at her disciple as he was looking at his hands in wonder as his ki was covering it as she was determined.
'I will not make the same mistake now. I will help him with his cultivation with all I have.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she vowed to herself.
"It seems that the pill was the only thing you needed." Yanyue Mei said to him with a smile.
"I guess so. Does this mean I can finally start training with my core?" Genshu Hao asked her with an eager smile.
"Yes." Yanyue Mei said to him as he smiled at her words.
The teacher herself felt quite happy to see that he was smiling as she smiled in turn, thinking of a plan with which she will be able to train her disciple and make him more stronger and proficient.
'I might be able to get him more respect from the other families if he can get more powerful.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she smiled to herself with her hand on her chin.
