Chapter 145 - Chapter 145: Fated Encounter 2

Chapter 145: Fated Encounter 2

Heero glanced around at the seven people beside him, realizing with horror that his identity had been exposed and seen by others.

"You saw it?" he asked in panic.

Relena answered with a confused look. "Saw what?"

Just then, medical staff rushed over, carrying a stretcher to provide aid.

Seeing more and more people approaching, Heero made a snap decision and pressed the self-destruct button on his spacesuit, attempting suicide.

Unfortunately, the suit had taken on too much water. The explosives failed to fully ignite; only a small blast went off at his chest before fizzling out, leaving him with no serious injuries.

Dazed by the failed self-destruction, Heero quickly snapped back to his senses. Ignoring the medical staff trying to stop him, he bolted for the exit.

He knocked every one of them to the ground, hijacked an ambulance, and sped off without hesitation.

Tolle knew that if he tried to say or persuade anything, Heero would surely add him to his must-kill list. The only exception, of course, was Relena.

But Tolle wasn't the heroine Relena—yet he still had to try to reform this troubled boy.

Why was his luck so rotten? Just because he wanted to see Relena, he ended up on the same flight as her, only to run into this self-destruction maniac Heero. Truly unfortunate!

Relena, watching Heero's figure disappearing into the distance, stretched out her hand and spoke to herself in introduction.

"My name is Relena Darlian. And you are?"

Coco and Miranda, standing nearby, answered instead.

"I'm Coco."

"I'm Miranda."

Several dozen seconds later, Relena finally realized that Tolle and his group of six were still there. She then turned back to Coco and Miranda.

"Hello, I'm Relena Darlian."

Coco and Miranda cheerfully replied to her.

"We know, you just said that." ×2

Tolle sighed inwardly—Relena's reaction time was way too slow.

With a helpless sigh, Tolle decided to leave this troublesome place as soon as possible. He turned to Coco and Miranda.

"Coco, Miranda, let's go. We still need to find a hotel. Otherwise, we'll have nowhere to stay tonight."

"Okay, mast… big brother, we're coming." ×2

At that moment, for some reason, Relena suddenly stopped Tolle's group and spoke.

"It's late now, and finding a hotel won't be easy. Why don't you come stay at my house?"

Tolle instantly broke out in a cold sweat. He was about to refuse, but Coco and Miranda ran to Relena's side, delighted.

"Really? Are you sure that's okay?" ×2

"No problem. My house is big enough—adding dozens more people wouldn't be an issue."

Tolle covered his forehead with his hand. Relena, aren't you afraid of inviting wolves into your home? You actually invite a bunch of strangers to spend the night—no doubt, a true saint. Your heart is way too open.

Zola, noticing Tolle's reaction, gave a sly, wicked smile and hooked her arm through his, pulling him toward Relena.

"That's really too kind of you, Relena little sister. This way we don't have to book a hotel, and we can save some money too."

Ange, arm in arm with Sophia, followed right after. Tolle nearly collapsed—this was being forced onto the stage against his will.

He had wanted to find a chance to search the seafloor for that Leo and the supplies, but now his plans would be delayed again.

Relena smiled at the group.

"It's fine. I get lonely by myself anyway. With more people at home, it'll be livelier. You can stay as long as you like."

Tolle was at a loss for words. She revealed her situation so casually, without a shred of caution.

If he didn't already know this was simply her nature, he might have thought she was interested in him.

Still, it was best to guard against trouble later. Having such a saintly figure at his side would make doing anything shady impossible.

Tolle thought for a moment and decided to introduce himself, cutting off any possible misunderstandings.

"Hello, Miss Relena. It's a pleasure to meet you, and thank you for your kind invitation.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tolle. I'm a merchant and traveler, visiting Earth this time to admire its beautiful scenery.

This is my sister-in-law, Zola. Those two are my fiancée Ange and my mother-in-law Sophia.

And my younger sisters, Coco and Miranda, whom you've already met."

Zola and Sophia smiled and nodded politely to Relena. Only Ange blushed furiously when Tolle called her his fiancée, turning her head aside and whispering a shy "Hello."

Relena returned each greeting, then led them outside the airport to hire two taxis, taking Tolle's group to her home.

Her mansion was indeed enormous—an oversized European-style estate. Truly the home of the wealthy.

That night, Tolle and Relena discussed whether there were good schools nearby where Coco and Miranda could enroll.

Tolle soon regretted mentioning it. This young lady simply took over the matter, making a single phone call to arrange for the two girls to start school with her the very next day.

Sigh. For now, there was no escaping this woman's saintly clutches. And he couldn't risk revealing too much of his power, or else his secrets would be flying all over the Gundam world.

Meanwhile, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, and Chang Wufei arrived on Earth. Each piloted his own Gundam and launched attacks on four OZ military bases.

Against the Gundams' overwhelming performance and firepower, the OZ bases were completely helpless. In no time, all four were annihilated.

Tolle, watching the data transmitted by his assimilated satellite, couldn't help but sigh. Compared to Heero the self-destruction maniac, these four were true professionals. Their attitude toward missions was completely different.

Unlike Heero—who not only failed to complete tasks but also caused trouble, wasted time, and tomorrow would even attempt to assassinate Relena at school.

If you want to pursue Relena, just do it properly. What's with all these twisted schemes? Truly baffling.

Then again, Relena actually fell for it—Heero had her wrapped around his finger. Come to think of it, the two of them really were both problem children.

The next morning, Relena took Coco and Miranda with her to school, leaving Tolle's group at her house without a second thought.

Speechless, Tolle could only take Ange and the others out to shop and sightsee, while also seizing the chance to release large quantities of neo DG cells into the ocean.

The cells would autonomously search, assimilate, and absorb sunken ships, wrecked machines, and various minerals to provide him with materials for building his own mobile suits.

Meanwhile, in class, Relena encountered the transfer student Heero—who had even been assigned the seat right next to hers.

Heero's way of capturing Relena's attention was truly something: planning an assassination while posing as an ordinary seatmate. Acting as though they were strangers completely piqued Relena's curiosity.
