Chapter 116: The Arrival of Carol

It wasn't just S.H.I.E.L.D. who noticed Carol's arrival. The group of ship girls who had just returned to the Roland family manor noticed it as well.

"Another enemy attack? Perfect, I haven't fought enough yet. Leave them to me!" Kaga said coldly.

But before she could move, Atago stopped her.

"Don't act yet. That's not an enemy. She's a friend of mine and Tirpitz's," Atago said with a smile.

"A friend?" Kaga asked curiously.

"Yes, she's definitely our friend, and she's very strong," Tirpitz added.

"Stronger than me?" Kaga frowned in disbelief.

"Hehe, probably about the same," Tirpitz chuckled.

"We'll only know for sure if we fight," Atago laughed.

"Will she even agree to fight me?" Kaga asked, puzzled.

"Of course. She's also a battle maniac. If you want to spar with her, she'll probably be even happier than you!" Atago grinned.

She remembered when Carol had traveled all the way to their Reincarnation Palace just for a fight. Carol's original goal had been to meet the Lord of Life, but when that didn't happen, she ended up fighting them instead. And it was a fight they thoroughly enjoyed.

Carol's strength was undeniable. She was someone they could fight without holding back, which made her very likable in their eyes.

The moment Carol arrived on Earth, she sensed the many powerful presences scattered around. A smile appeared on her face, and without hesitation, she flew straight toward the Roland manor.

Behind her, Star-Lord and his group followed. As he looked at the familiar landscapes of Earth, Peter Quill's face filled with emotion. After so many years, returning to the planet of his birth felt surreal. He couldn't help but wonder if his family was still alive.

Nick Fury had planned to greet Carol, but before he could make a move, she had already flown directly to the manor.

"Boss, your old friend doesn't seem too eager to see you," Agent Hill teased.

"..." Fury was silent.

"Maybe she just has more important things to do. Forget it, let's head to the Roland manor," Fury said awkwardly.

"Understood," Hill replied with a smile, then made the arrangements.

Inside the realm created by Roland Phils.

Phils hovered in the air, divine light swirling around him, making him look majestic and untouchable. He looked like a god-king from ancient Greek legends, cold, handsome, and overwhelmingly noble. Everything seemed beneath his feet, and his aura alone inspired worship.

At that moment, Dormammu knelt weakly before him, his robes torn, his energy nearly gone. The arrogance he once carried had vanished. All that remained was fear and despair.

He never imagined that this man, in the middle of their battle, would suddenly break through to a realm so far beyond his reach. Compared to Phils now, he was no more than an ant. No matter how much he resisted, it was futile. Even the divine pressure alone had crushed him into submission.

"I lost... I'm willing to surrender. Let me be your eternal servant!" Dormammu pleaded in terror.

But his plan was too naive.

Lose, then surrender? And expect to live? Impossible. Phils would never allow such a cheap escape. If he accepted that, then all his past choices would have been meaningless.

Smiling faintly, Phils reached out, his hand gently pressing against Dormammu's human host's head.

"No matter who you are, you must pay the price for your choices. You chose destruction, so now... you must die."

A terrifying suction force burst from his palm, instantly crushing Dormammu into a cloud of black mist.

Dormammu didn't even have time to scream before his existence was completely erased. Unlike Mephisto, this time Dormammu was truly gone, leaving not even a trace in the universe. There would be no rebirth.

Phils held the condensed black mist, which pulsed like a miniature world. Without hesitation, he swallowed it whole.

It was Dormammu's divine authority. Through his devouring law, Phils could transform that power into his own.

[System]: Detected the corpse of a mid-tier true god. Consume 10 million faith points to devour. Proceed?

Just like when he absorbed Mephisto, it required 10 million points of faith. But to Phils now, that was nothing.

He agreed without hesitation.

[System]: You have devoured the power of Dormammu, the Dark Sovereign. You gained divine power!

[System]: Through critical amplification, the quality of power was increased tenfold!

[System]: You gained 90 divine power and obtained the authority of Darkness.

Phils' heart surged with joy. This battle not only elevated him to the rank of Main God, but it also granted him additional divine power and a new divine authority. He was now the new ruler of the Dark Dimension.

He quickly pulled up his status.

[Domains]: Realm of Life, Hell Dimension, Dark Dimension

By merging the Time Stone Strange had sacrificed, Phils had already stepped into the Main God realm. Devouring Dormammu's power elevated him further as the new ruler of the Dark Dimension. He now commanded three divine domains.

At this level, he had reached the multiversal scale, a being capable of breaking barriers between universes. The only beings that could rival him were the five Cosmic Entities (Galactus, Death, Eternity, Infinity, and Oblivion), the Phoenix Force, and Thanos with the completed Infinity Gauntlet.

But with five Infinity Stones already in his possession, Thanos' dream was shattered. Without the Gauntlet, Thanos was nothing more than a high Sky-Father level being. At best, a sub-god. Against Phils, even a single ship girl under his command could wipe him out.

Phils' eyes fell on the Reality Stone Dormammu had sought. That gem alone could provide him with another 2,000 divine power. Even though he had become a Main God, beyond that lay God-Kings and God-Emperors, transcending even multiversal scale. His journey was far from over.

He shook his head with a faint smile, his body slowly fading as he disappeared.

Back at the Roland manor.

Carol descended gracefully from the sky. Behind her, Star-Lord's ship touched down.

"Hey, Carol, your speed is something else!" Atago greeted her with a smile.

"Hehe, that's thanks to them. We used space jumps to get here faster," Carol said, pointing at Star-Lord's group behind her.

"So it's you guys!" Amagi smiled warmly.

She remembered how Akagi and the others had saved Xandar and, along the way, rescued this ridiculous but amusing group. She hadn't expected to see them on Earth so soon.

"Hehe, yes. It's been a while, my ladies. I hope you've all been well," Star-Lord said, surprisingly shy in front of the ship girls.

It was no wonder. The sheer pressure these women radiated was terrifying. He still remembered vividly how one of them had punched apart a planet. That was not something any sane person could forget. Best to be humble.

Carol looked around at the clear sky. "Seems I wasn't needed after all. Everything's over? No danger here?"

Atago smiled. "Our Lord has already taken care of it. No need to worry."

"The Lord of Life is here? Can I see him? I have something important to discuss with him!" Carol asked eagerly.

"Do not overstep. The Lord is not someone you can simply meet at will. Even if you are Atago's friend, you must know your place," Bismarck cut in coldly.

Instantly, a crushing aura pressed down on Carol, as if a mountain had fallen on her shoulders.

"Enough," a gentle voice rang out.

A handsome man appeared out of thin air.

It was none other than Roland Phils.
