Noah straightened proudly before the gathered guild, his grin never fading. Ultear was the first to speak up, her eyes narrowing with curiosity.
"Were you just… using our magic?"
"Well, of course," Noah replied smoothly. "Since you were all watching, I thought I'd borrow your magic for a bit. I just happen to be stronger, so by mixing your spells into my fight, maybe you'll find some inspiration."
"Wait a second! Where's the Dragon Slayer magic?!" Natsu jumped up immediately, glaring. "You learned Fire Dragon Slayer Magic from me, Noah! And you even picked up Wendy's Sky Dragon Slayer Magic!"
"I didn't use any Dragon Slayer techniques this time," Noah said casually, then added with a teasing smirk, "but tell me, how did that fire spell I just cast measure up?"
Natsu crossed his arms and answered with unexpected seriousness. "It was really strong… but still a little weaker than Igneel."
Noah rolled his eyes so hard half the guild laughed.
"First of all, my strength right now doesn't even compare to a grown dragon. Second don't forget who I was fighting. If I'd raised the power any further, do you want me to kill Laxus outright?"
Only then did Natsu realize the point, scratching his head with a sheepish grin. Laxus, still catching his breath nearby, shot Natsu a murderous glare mentally noting to "take care" of him later.
Noah's tone softened. "Natsu, your Dragon Slayer magic will grow sharper the more you train. But here's a tip focus on raising the temperature of your flames, and concentrate them instead of scattering them. The fire will burn hotter, hit harder, and pierce stronger defenses."
"Raise the temperature… and focus the flames?" Natsu tilted his head, completely lost.
"You'll figure it out with practice," Noah said with a wave of his hand. "If you still don't get it, come ask me directly."
He turned his gaze to Ultear and the others. "And what about you three? What do you think?"
Ultear smiled knowingly. "You mean the same thing you once told Mother about temperature."
"Exactly," Noah nodded. "Fire and ice both grow stronger when you control temperature. Fire grows more destructive the hotter you burn, and ice grows harder and sharper the colder you push it. On top of that, both can shift the environment itself, even if just a little, giving you an edge against your opponent."
Her words drew solemn nods from Gray and Lyon. They'd already begun practicing this method ever since Ur had passed along Noah's advice. Their ice had grown tougher, their shaping more solid but compared to what Noah had just shown, the gap was still staggering.
The Ice-Make: Ice Spring earlier had dropped the temperature dozens of degrees in an instant. Gray and Lyon couldn't replicate that. Even Ultear, though capable of a similar effect after charging for a while, admitted Noah's instant execution was on another level.
The realization only fueled their fighting spirit. Both Gray and Lyon's eyes blazed with determination, and even Ultear clenched her fists, unwilling to fall so far behind.
Then Noah turned to Sorano.
"As for you your Angel Magic has become more versatile since my adjustments. But the drawback is how much magic power it eats up. You'll need to focus on building up your reserves."
He raised a finger, his tone like that of a teacher scolding a pupil.
"And speed, Sorano. Summon faster. Don't let opponents see the gap and strike before your spirits arrive."
Kongno nodded solemnly. Thanks to Noah's adjustments, his magic had become more versatile capable of adapting to a variety of environments with ease.
Still, he admitted one problem. "It burns through too much magic. I can't summon angels too many times in one fight… magic power really is my biggest weakness."
"You can fix that," Noah said matter-of-factly. "Try summoning your weaker angels over and over. Focus on speed. If you can call them out instantly, your overall strength will rise even if your reserves aren't deep yet."
Sorano nodded quickly, committing the advice to heart.
Then Noah's gaze shifted. "Levy. You need to keep training your script magic. Speed is everything. If you can't write fast enough, your spells will lag and that's fatal in combat."
Levy's face flushed, but she nodded with determination. She already practiced writing quickly every day. But after watching Noah cast letter magic at blinding speed earlier, she realized just how far behind she was.
"Also," Noah added with a sly grin, "start practicing with your feet."
"With my… feet?!" Levy gasped.
"Of course," Noah said, completely serious. "In battle, your hands won't always be free. Learning to inscribe runes with your feet could save your life. Erza has already started practicing sword forms with her feet, and Ultear's group has been training to cast Ice-Make with theirs."
Levy's jaw dropped. Hearing that others were already ahead, she clenched her fists and nodded furiously. "All right! I'll start training with my feet tonight!"
"Wait, what?!" Mirajane blurted, her temper flaring. "Erza's already been sneaking in special training? Damn it, I'm not letting her get ahead of me I'll do it too!"
Noah chuckled. "Erza's Requip style already makes her versatile. She doesn't need my advice just keep pushing her sword work. She's even started developing original forms. If she spars against someone like me, who uses all kinds of magic, her adaptability will grow even sharper."
Erza straightened, her expression serious. She silently vowed to continue honing her armor and weapon sets until she could stand against Noah's overwhelming versatility.
"And Mirajane," Noah said, turning toward her, "I know your Take Over magic well I even helped you practice receiving before. Your Demon Take Over is powerful, but it drains your magic too quickly. If you want to get stronger, you need to extend how long you can hold it. The longer you sustain it, the more devastating you'll become."
Mirajane's eyes softened. Though fiery by nature, she wasn't too proud to accept advice from Noah, who had guided her in the past. She nodded firmly. "Understood."
Finally, Noah's gaze fell on Kagura. "Your gravity magic is straightforward. Keep pushing the intensity make every ounce of weight count. As for swordsmanship, learn from Erza. She's better than me with a blade. But don't neglect your basics. Magic and the body need equal training. Neglect one, and the other won't reach its full potential."
Kagura's expression tightened with resolve. "Yes. I understand."
