He looked at the Child and asked her who did it as she pointed behind him. There was nothing but the dark and foggy forest that they were currently in.

Clad noticed it. There was something in the fog, standing motionless, watching them from afar, ape-like in appearance with black fur and skin, dark scleras and yellow eyes that stood out in the dark compared to his darker, towering body.
"What the hell is that!?" Clad thought as he had never seen such a creature before in his many years of mercenary work in Naroth.
It was watching them with a sadistic, deformed smile on its face as it was torturing another one of the little girls' kind, ripping her arm off, making her scream in pain. Clad couldn't stand watching this and dashed in straight for his head.
"I can't let him continue to do this!" He thought, as pink petals burst out as he unsheathed his black blade, when suddenly, multiple creatures similar in appearance to the first one jumped out of nowhere as they leaped towards him.
As he ran towards them, he cut each one of them down with a flurry of rapid, light strikes within pink and white petals, following his beautiful yet violent swings

"This guy's pretty good with the blade, but I have never seen such a blade technique before!" Swan said as he looked at him from afar.
"Move!" He shouted as he ran directly at the ape holding the bleeding woman.
As he repositioned himself to cut him down as well, the creature leaped away from his reach, landed on top of a tree while still holding the bleeding woman in one of his long arms.
The ape looked down on him, and it opened its mouth with a malicious smile.
