One of the soldiers shouted to take charge of them. The soldiers armed with bladed weapons came at them. One of the soldiers swung their blade into Laura's soldiers, leading him to scream in pain before a teammate helped him out by cutting the guy's arm off and kicking him away. As he was bleeding out, Pierrot stepped in and healed him with his healing magic.

The soldiers thanked him as he went to help other people in need. As Laura was shooting, a soldier tried to sneak up on her, but she blocked his swing with her gun, then quickly rotated her gun to his head and shot him.

"Pierrot!" She shouted to him.
"On it!" He loudly replied as he put both of his index fingers together, he took a deep breath, and started chanting.

"Mend our wounds and lift our spirits."
"Let Your grace restore our strength"
"Guide us, heal us… Azai."

A bright white light could be seen from everyone's perspective, as Laura and the other soldiers felt as if their entire bodies were being put in better condition by an unknown force.
"Oh, I feel...powerful!" one of the men said.
The king's soldiers were taken aback as the enemies that weren't of any real threat suddenly had an intimidating aura to them, as if they were going to lose the battle due to this sudden change.

"Let's kill them," one of them shouted.
"Alright, Glory to the rat king!" They shouted as they dashed at Laura's group, clashing blades and shooting bullets.
Meanwhile, Clad's team met nothing.
"Man, I'm bored"
As the man sighed from boredom, Swan saw a weird wave of mana in front of them and told Clad about it, and he pulled out his sword just in case, only to see a little harpie girl crouching in fear, as if she seemed to be hiding from something.
"Are you alright?" Clad asked her.
"There's a big monster, it killed my friends!"The girl said as tears fell down her face.
Clad looks around, but sees nothing. But Swan and soldiers noticed something, their faces going from calm to a sudden look of shock as they all looked up, leaving some to vomit due to the grotesque scene.
