/Zane's POV/
"So, you knew?" Madison finally found her voice after several minutes of just staring at me in vivid shock. She set her plate down and reached for the cutlery that had fallen in her moment of surprise. "Well, that explains it," she mumbled as she rose back to her feet, but all I could do was stare at her with mixed reactions.
Honestly, I don't exactly know how to feel about what happened. I didn't hate it, so I wouldn't say I regret it, even though I should have. Allison would probably hate me for this, but I kept wondering—did I enjoy our intimacy because she looked so much like her sister, or was it just Maddy? It was a question I intended to find answers to.
"I can't believe you were going to pretend it didn't happen," I said, shooting her an accusatory look.
Annoyed, she snickered. "Well, I can't believe you were awake the entire time."
