While everyone was still joking about the relationship between Tony Stark and Peter Parker, who had no blood relation, Tony Stark in the picture saw that the little Spider-Man, Peter Parker, was fine. He immediately instructed the AI, "Good luck, kid. Friday, send him back!"
"Understood!"
Friday faithfully fulfilled her mission as an AI.
Instantly, a parachute appeared behind Spider-Man, carrying him down.
Meanwhile, Iron Man had already broken into the interior of the ship.
He also received a call from Pepper.
Pepper knew Tony Stark so well that she immediately guessed that Tony Stark was on this ship.
"I'm sorry, darling!" Tony Stark could only apologize as he heard his beloved calling for him to return.
If it were the Tony Stark of the past, he might have gone back. But now, he was a superhero, Iron Man.
The responsibilities of a superhero left him no choice but to grit his teeth and push forward.
However, he didn't know that Spider-Man, Peter Parker, had already arrived on the spaceship.
"I knew it. This kid doesn't seem like the type to listen!"
Tony Stark, watching the scene, couldn't help but say.
He had clearly told him to go back to school, but this time he followed him again.
He must have used his spider-webs to tag along.
At this moment, Ebony Maw was interrogating Doctor Strange, using countless amounts of Magical Power to condense into physical spikes that slowly closed in on him.
"I've served Thanos for so long, and I've never disappointed him. If I arrive on Titan and there's an obstacle like you, that would be a failure!" Ebony Maw threatened coldly.
The long spikes pierced into Doctor Strange's body, causing him to let out a low, pained cry.
"Hand over, the gem!"
The scene shifted to Tony Stark, Doctor Strange's cloak, and Spider-Man, Peter Parker, coming together.
The two were engaged in a heated argument over whether or not Spider-Man should go home.
However, what shocked everyone was the cloak, which seemed to have its own consciousness. It wasn't an illusion; it was like a normal human being and an ordinary artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence appears to have consciousness, but in reality, it doesn't.
And so it was with the Cloak of Levitation, which likely possessed a consciousness of its own.
Ultimately, Peter Parker came up with a plan. Using a scene from the movie Alien, he blew a massive hole in the ship, utilizing the vacuum of space to instantly suck Ebony Maw, who was far more powerful than them all, into the cosmos, where he froze to death.
Clearly, although his strength was immense, perhaps even surpassing Thor's, Thor and Loki could survive in the vacuum of space, but Ebony Maw couldn't.
Beings like gods were far more mysterious than most people imagined; their power couldn't be measured purely by their combat strength.
"Now I understand why the kid's request to make the whole world forget he's Spider-Man was so outrageous, even requiring a very dangerous spell, yet Doctor Strange agreed. Turns out the kid saved his life!"
Hawkeye, Barton, said.
The others saw in the footage that Doctor Strange, also sucked out of the ship by the breach, was pulled back at the last moment by Peter Parker, saving his life.
Looking back at how Strange later risked everything for Peter Parker, it all made a lot more sense.
So, this is repaying a life-saving grace.
Just after escaping danger, Doctor Strange immediately said, "We need to turn the ship around and go back!"
"So, you're going to run away now? That's just great," Tony Stark sneered in mockery.
Obviously, the atmosphere between the two was still very tense.
"I have to protect the gem!" Doctor Strange immediately said.
"Then you should thank me first. What are you waiting for? I'm ready to listen!" Tony Stark couldn't help but remind him.
"Thank you for what? Thank you for almost blowing me into space?" Doctor Strange also spoke directly without any politeness. "Who saved you, you conceited guy? It was me!" Tony Stark said.
"How did you even get that arrogant face into your helmet?" Doctor Strange sneered.
"Admit it, you should have slipped away just now. I told you to get out of here, but you wouldn't listen!" Tony Stark complained incessantly.
"But I'm not one of your subordinates, I don't need to take orders from you!" Doctor Strange retorted.
"Because of you, we're now stuck in this space donut!" Tony Stark said with a sneer. "We're stuck in this space donut, hundreds of thousands of miles from Earth, and completely isolated!"
The two seemed to have a natural dislike for each other, and as soon as things calmed down, they immediately began to verbally spar.
Watching the two bicker like children, everyone outside the screen was somewhat speechless.
"I agree with Lin Feng now. Tony, and this Doctor Strange, are really some of the most sharp-tongued people in the Marvel universe!" Hill couldn't help but comment.
Everyone nodded in agreement, that was so true.
Now they suddenly understood that any nickname Lin Feng gave them, or any of his comments about them, were probably for a reason.
Before, he didn't understand a lot of things. It was just that they hadn't figured out what had happened yet.
After a heated argument, Tony Stark finally revealed his true thoughts.
"You're the one who doesn't understand how serious this is. The shadow of Thanos has haunted my mind for six years. After that invasion of New York, he's back again. I'm not sure what we should do, and I'm not sure whose home field is better to fight on. But you've seen what they've done. At least they didn't expect us to charge into his territory, so I suggest we take the initiative. Doctor, do you understand what I mean?"
"Alright, Stark, we'll take the initiative. But you must understand, if I have to choose between you, the kid, and the Time Stone, I will not hesitate to abandon the two of you!" Doctor Strange warned. "You have to understand, because this concerns the balance of the universe!"
"No problem, very principled!" Tony Stark nodded. "Let's do it then!"
Then he went to Peter Parker and said, "Kid, you're an Avenger now!"
He hadn't expected it. He'd previously thought the other was just a kid and wasn't qualified to join the Avengers. Kids should go to school, maybe be a good neighbor to the citizens of New York.
Leave saving the world to the adults!
However, the situation was urgent now, so he urgently approved Peter Parker's addition to the Avengers.
Tony Stark looked at the scene and immediately got a headache. Based on what he was seeing, the story that followed would involve the Avengers, along with the Guardians of the Galaxy, who were still somewhere out there, joining forces to fight Thanos, only to get utterly beaten.
Wasn't this just a setup to get humiliated?
And he was the one who suggested it?
He couldn't even shift the blame!
Especially since he, in the present, had learned something about Thanos, knew how terrifying beings at the level of a Celestial Father could be. His counterpart in that parallel universe clearly hadn't.
Charging straight into the enemy's headquarters, trying to capture the leader first, was simply reckless.
"Tony, you were too rash!" Nick Fury said. "Going into the enemy's lair alone with your people... have you forgotten how you dealt with the Chitauri? If there were ten thousand Chitauri there, you wouldn't even get close to Thanos, you'd be dead!"
Everyone nodded. Based on this, losing to Thanos was still a decent outcome. At least they'd lost to a Celestial Father-level being. Being swarmed to death by the Chitauri would be the worst.
"But at least we know the exact timeframe!" Black Widow, Natasha, said. "Tony said the time in the video was six years after the Chitauri invasion of New York. Knowing that the Chitauri invaded in 2012, that means Thanos's invasion will likely happen in 2018. We really don't have much time!"
Everyone felt a headache coming on. Knowing the exact timing of the final battle left them somewhat at a loss because it had all come so quickly.
Only Bruce Banner thought of something else, excitedly saying, "That means it's only eight years from now! Tony, your armor has already evolved to the nano-level. You're really amazing and talented!"
"Of course!" Tony Stark nodded proudly, but quickly suppressed his emotions because it also meant he didn't have much time left.
The future final battle would happen in eight years, at the latest in 2019.
"But if our previous guess is correct, that Thanos didn't dare to invade Earth because of the protection of the Ancient One and Odin, then it also means that within the next eight years, these two true protectors of Earth will also pass away one after another!"
At this moment, Nick Fury put forward another point of view, and everyone's expression was silent.
Indeed, they had actually seen how the two big shots died.
The Ancient One was casually stabbed to death by Kaecilius. In the end, her soul left her body and, unwilling to return, found an excuse to clock out and run away.
A model worker of the modern era.
Odin also held on until the very last moment, turning into a golden light and disappearing without a trace.
