Chapter 113 - 113.Phantom Insect Eggs

Ogg suddenly turned and bolted!

"Stop!"

Sonia shouted.

Ogg stopped immediately, his feet nailed to the ground.

"Don't... don't kill me... please..."

Ogg clutched his head in his hands, trembling and sweat pouring down his face.

"Tamer... please... spare me..."

"No," Sonia explained calmly. "If I don't kill you and destroy your body, how can my brother Allen safely enter the mushroom garden?"

"Why me... I've done nothing wrong..."

Veins popped out of Ogg's forehead.

Insects were gnawing at his brain.

Black blood oozed from the corners of Ogg's mouth.

Insects were gnawing at his heart.

"Og, you're such a fool," Sonia said softly. "You've done nothing wrong, but your very existence is a mistake."

"You must die, because my brother Allen needs you dead."

"I'm happy to kill you, because it's good for my beloved brother Allen."

"As for you? Excuse me, you're nothing?"

"Anyone I don't like is nothing!"

"I'm stronger than you, higher in status than you, so why should I destroy you?"

"Okay, if you keep talking, brother Allen won't like me anymore."

"Og, from now on, your name and identity belong to my brother Allen."

"There's nothing more for you. Die."

Og was dead.

His eyes were still wide, filled with despair and indignation.

In the two years since crossing into the warlock world, Allen had heard and witnessed many cruel things, but none compared to Og's death.

He took several deep breaths before forcing himself to remain calm about the corpse.

Sonia held her little finger in her mouth and tried to whistle, calling for Marlowe and Hugo to come and dispose of the body.

Alan raised his hand to stop her.

"Let me do it."

He pulled out a syringe and a small vial.

The vial contained a clear liquid: digestive fluid secreted by the bone spur.

Alan stripped Og naked and injected the digestive fluid into the still-warm corpse.

Og's tall, sturdy body rapidly dissolved before Sonia's eyes.

It eventually turned into a pool of thick blood, seeping into the soft soil.

"Wow! What a powerful dissolving fluid!"

Sonia gazed at him in admiration, her eyes full of stars.

"As expected of the man I love, he's so efficient and artistic in disposing of the body."

Alan ignored her flattery and changed into Og's clothes.

The two men were of similar build, so the clothes fit them well.

After changing clothes, Alan performed his "disguise" technique, transforming into Og's appearance before his death.

"Does it look like him?" he asked Sonia.

"Exactly the same!" Sonia confirmed, then quibbled. "It's a pity... this face isn't as handsome as your real one."

"Fortunately, I have good eyesight and can see your true beauty beneath this fake, ugly face!"

"That's enough!" Alan was truly embarrassed by her. "Sonia, since I'm here, I've decided to cooperate with you, but I have one condition."

"What condition?"

"Help me kill someone."

"I don't ask who it is, but I'm curious why," Sonia asked with interest.

"That person is an instructor at the Warlock Academy. I used to respect him very much, but he's repeatedly targeted me and even tried to kill me."

"Before, I had no chance to retaliate, so I had to endure it."

"Now, that person has come to me, and I don't want to miss out."

Alan stated calmly.

Sonia nodded, readily accepting his request.

"Brother Allen's enemy is my enemy. I'll do my best to help you deal with him! Also, I've got the phantom worm eggs you requested."

Alan took an injection from her.

The clear, transparent solution exuded a faint salty scent, like seawater.

The phantom worm eggs soaked in the solution were so tiny they were invisible to the naked eye.

Thankfully, the Gluttony system issued a timely alert:

"Level 5 pathogen detected (parasitic/mind control)!"

Alan was relieved.

Phantom worm eggs, level 5 parasitic eggs.

With his current virus resistance, he could easily handle them.

Alan was reserved even with Sonia, having made preparations before this meeting.

The storage bag contained a potion containing over a dozen nourishing and beauty-enhancing tonics, plus a drop of blood.

Alan's virus resistance had reached level 5.

A single drop of blood could eliminate the parasites in Sonia's body.

The other herbs, besides providing cover, were simply fillers to improve the taste.

"Drink it."

Alan handed the potion to Sonia.

"If nothing unexpected happens, by this time tomorrow, you'll be completely free of the control of the 'phantom worm eggs.'"

In reality, there wouldn't be that long to wait, and nothing unexpected would happen.

This was just Alan's habit of being low-key.

Sonia drank the potion in front of him.

She smacked her lips and commented, "It's sweet and delicious!"

Alan smiled and quietly opened the system interface.

From now on, the venom glands in his body can automatically synthesize "phantom insect eggs."

This thing is incredibly powerful, but also incredibly difficult to use.

It must be paired with the awakening spell developed by the "Human Demon Cult" to awaken the insect eggs from their dormancy.

In the cult, members of different ranks master different spells.

High-level bishops master high-level spells.

Mid-level elders master mid-level spells.

Sonia, the lowest-ranking deacon, possesses low-level spells, which can only control first-level initiates training in the mushroom garden, such as Ogg.

Alan received the low-level insect-summoning spell from Sonia. As for higher-level spells, it depends on Sonia's willingness to strive for them.

If she can become a mid-level core member of the cult, she will naturally gain mid-level authority.

The higher she climbs, the greater her power and the more subordinates she can control.

This is the organizational structure of the "Human Demon Cult."

Simple and crude, but effective.

Alan followed Sonia to the mushroom circle that resembled Stonehenge.

The mushroom circle formed by giant mushrooms was the portal into the mushroom garden.

Such an important place, of course, needed to be guarded.

Leading the patrol today was the "Snake Charmer," a half-naked, bald woman.

Her tanned, shiny skin complemented the various golden rings pierced through her body.

Her figure was impeccable, her makeup was striking, and her striking bald head was especially striking.

Alan couldn't help but take a second look, muttering to himself, "What cyberpunk style..."

"Hey! Tamer!"

The snake charmer waved to Sonia as she approached, examining Alan with a half-smile.

To be more precise, it was Alan, impersonating Og.

"It's rare to see you alone with a man. Have you finally come to your senses?"

"His name is Og, my new servant."

Sonia replied calmly.

At the same time, she telepathically reminded Alan how to interact with higher-ranking members of the cult.

The snake charmer was also a deacon of the cult.

Alan had to be respectful to him.

"Og greets Lord Snake!"

Alan bowed deeply to the snake charmer.

"You're quite polite, young man. Not bad!"

The snake charmer came over and stroked Alan's sturdy arm.

Sonia smiled perfunctorily, but impatience was already evident in her eyes.

The snake charmer had not only caressed Alan unscrupulously in front of her, but had even proposed an even more outrageous deal.

"Sonia, I'll give you a magic stone and let Og sleep with me tonight, how about that?"
