The enormous skyscraper was completely ablaze, flames licking through shattered windows, thick smoke rolling into the sky. Despite the firefighters doing their possible best to bring out trapped people from the inferno, corpses still piled at one side, covered in white sheets that barely hid the horror beneath.
A cold shudder ran through him as his demeanor fell completely. His heart pounded so loud it felt like it would burst through his chest. He rushed forward but stopped abruptly when he saw the barrier created by the firefighters to prevent anyone from getting closer to the burning structure.
