Ch: 612-622 (Compete)
Chapter 612: The Culprit Turns Themselves In
"Do not ask! Do not ask! Do not ask!"
Lyon Stark had just arrived at the Central Palace of Battleworld.
He saw Doctor Doom losing his temper at Doctor Strange.
The Divine Lord, wearing his iron mask, didn't notice an extra person above the palace.
He was so irritated that he was slapping the armrest of his throne.
"Strange, remember my orders: do not get involved with Lyon Stark or that group of his!"
"Regardless of what they've done or why the destruction of the Multiverse is accelerating."
"Ignore it, and do not ask!"
"Or rather, if they really are the ones pushing the Multiverse toward an accelerated end, it actually serves our great interests better."
"Remember, do not come into conflict with them for the time being."
"Your mission is to assist me in managing Battleworld and to do your best to prevent the Universes where the X-Men are located from being integrated into Superman's side."
"This is very important for our construction of Battleworld!"
The Doctor Strange from the Main Universe (Movie) bowed in agreement below Doom, performed a salute, and then began reporting on the situation in Battleworld.
Lyon listened from above for a few minutes before turning to leave.
He had come to Battleworld this time specifically to investigate the situation Jarvis had mentioned.
But clearly, even Doom's side didn't know the reason why the destruction of the Multiverse had accelerated again.
"However, I should probably keep an eye on the X-Men Universes Doom mentioned."
"According to Shen Loki, Battleworld will serve as the source to reboot a brand-new Timeline in the future."
"So Doom and his people indeed need the Mutant World."
"But I can't just ignore the God-Kingdom Universe side either."
"I can also try to save more of the Mutant World."
Currently, most of the Worlds integrated into the God-Kingdom Universe were branches of the sacred timeline.
As for the Mutant World, which existed as a separate Timeline, not many had been integrated into the God-Kingdom.
It seemed now that they were being quietly intercepted by the Battleworld side.
"That fellow Doom..."
Lyon shook his head and traveled through time and space to leave Battleworld.
He crossed the void between Universes at extreme speed.
Suddenly, a message came from Jarvis—"Young Master, the cause of the accelerated collapse of the Multiverse has been found."
Lyon's rapidly moving figure came to a halt.
How was the speed at which Jarvis solved the case so unexpectedly fast?
...Lyon understood when he returned to the TVA.
It wasn't that Jarvis was fast at solving the case, but rather that the culprits had walked right into the trap.
Jarvis and Black Strange stood side by side in front of four people restrained by Temporal Devices.
Seeing Lyon walk into the detention room,
the two stepped aside to make room.
"Young Master, I apologize; I misunderstood Mr. Doom of Battleworld."
"In fact, these ladies are the source of the accelerated destruction."
Jarvis stood to the side, introducing them with refined elegance.
"They call themselves the Multiverse Guardians. Speaking of which, Mr. Strange (Black Strange) used to be a member of this team."
To the side, Black Strange's face twitched, and his body showed a clear impulse to bolt for the exit.
Dark history, pure dark history, and Jarvis had maliciously gone out of his way to point it out.
Black Strange kept a stiff face, eyes downcast, saying nothing as he tried his best to minimize his presence.
"Multiverse Guardians?" Lyon's brow quirked.
He looked over.
Jarvis was right; there really was a familiar face.
Among the four people bound to chairs,
the one with the most commanding Aura was Captain Carter.
However, it wasn't the Carter from Earth-838 in 'Doctor Strange 2'.
It was the Carter from the 'What If...?' series.
Lyon had seen her before when defeating Infinite Ultron; she was a "helper" recruited by Observer Frog Tu.
Looking at the other three, Lyon wasn't very familiar with them.
"Carter, we meet again. As for these three, please introduce yourselves," Lyon said with a nod.
Carter's eyes lit up when she saw Lyon.
"Lyon, you're Lyon, right? I remember Frog Tu calling you that."
"Frog Tu might be in danger right now. Lyon, we need your and Strange's help!"
"Frog Tu?" Lyon hadn't expected to hear the Observer's name.
Could something have happened to Frog Tu?
When an Observer is in trouble, it usually signifies the start of a major event.
Lyon began to take the matter more seriously.
"Take your time. First, introduce yourselves," Lyon said, sitting down opposite the four.
"We..." Captain Carter paused, her brow furrowed.
She saw that while Lyon's attitude was mild, he had no intention of untying them.
She could only introduce them: "The one to my left is Storm, and she is also Thor."
Lyon looked over; the person had white hair and dark skin, the traditional image of Storm.
Presumably, she was a Storm who had lifted Mjolnir, which was quite a massive power-up.
"The two to my right are Kahhori and Porty Duck."
Lyon remembered now; Kahhori was an original character from the second season of 'What If...?'.
She was a Native American who had gained a portion of the Space Stone's power when her home was invaded by White people.
Later, she and Captain Carter had saved the Multiverse from Black Strange together.
As for Porty Duck, Lyon didn't recognize her.
(Continuing the initial setting, Lyon's knowledge of the MCU ends at the start of the book's publication in 2024.)
"Porty Duck is...?"
"Hey, hey, I'm a super-Genius girl whose name is known throughout the Multiverse, and you actually don't know me?"
Porty Duck muttered dissatisfiedly, "Then you should know my parents. My father is Howard the Duck, and my mother is Darcy Louise."
Howard the Duck had initially been one of The Collector's items and later hung around with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Darcy Louise was the female assistant to Thor's girlfriend.
Lyon instantly remembered these two.
But his Super Brain suddenly stalled.
A human and a duck, together, and then they had a girl?
Lyon subconsciously looked Porty Duck over again.
She looked like an ordinary orange-haired girl, except her arms were covered in many feather-like patterns.
"Why are you looking at me like that? You... you don't have any bad ideas, do you?"
Porty Duck was very sensitive to gazes; she shivered and instinctively shrank back.
But after looking Lyon over carefully for a few moments, she blinked, and her voice softened slightly.
"Even if you have bad ideas, you have to start by pursuing me... uh, starting with a cup of coffee would work too."
"Okay, thanks, but no thanks." Lyon silently withdrew his gaze.
He pushed the image of a human and a duck that had just popped into his head out of his mind.
Then he looked at Jarvis.
"So what did the four of them do to interfere with the Multiverse?"
Jarvis's eyes lit up at the question.
Literally lit up.
Its eyes glowed with a faint blue-white light, projecting images in front of the group.
They were several clips with different backgrounds.
"Just half an hour ago, they were piloting a spaceship through space, appearing outside the God-Kingdom Universe and crashing straight into the Universe's barrier."
"It was Dormammu who stopped them and handed them over to the TVA through Mr. Strange."
This wasn't surprising; the various Hell and dimension lords had now become the gatekeeping generals of the God-Kingdom Universe.
Not only would they help organize the Universes that moved over,
but they also routinely cleared out creatures attempting to invade the God-Kingdom.
Jarvis continued, "I checked their past temporal records."
"I found that they, particularly Ms. Carter, have been frequently traveling between Universes over the past few decades of their own Timeline."
"They formed a new Multiverse Guardians, traveling through different Universes to exert influence."
"The chain reactions currently generated have already affected over a hundred billion Universes."
"And this influence is still continuing to spread."
"It is estimated that it will eventually radiate through one-ten-thousandth to one-thousandth of the Multiverse's volume."
"This is the primary reason for the accelerated destruction of the Multiverse."
Chapter 613: Fragments of the Observer Realm
The Multiverse is boundless; it is incredibly vast.
Even one ten-thousandth of its volume is hard to imagine.
Lyon glanced at the group of four in surprise once more.
He never would have guessed their talent for causing trouble.
It was actually no weaker than that of Iron Man or Mister Fantastic.
Before he could say anything...
Captain Carter interrupted Jarvis, her voice full of disbelief.
"Interference? No, it's not! We are helping them; those Universes need help!"
"Not long ago, we helped a Universe repel an invasion by Shuma-Gorath."
"You should be more precise, Ultron!"
After Lyon defeated Infinite Ultron, Captain Carter...
...was sent back to her own Universe by Waqtu.
But afterward, she experienced multiple Universe-crossing events.
Those events led her to meet Kahhori, Storm, and Porty Duck.
They formed a new team and began helping other Universes resist threats.
In the process, they even defeated a Kang and seized his ship.
Later, they even invented their own ship, which could travel through the Multiverse at will.
Among the many people she had encountered...
...no one had ever accused her of interfering in other Universes.
On the contrary, almost everyone considered her to be just and selfless.
And she indeed used that as her code of conduct.
Until today, she was actually being accused by an Ultron.
Captain Carter instinctively argued back.
But the data coming from the other party made her heart tremble.
"Ms. Carter, I'm sorry, I must first correct your form of address. I am Jarvis, not Ultron."
Jarvis spoke in a calm, steady tone, "Ultron was not born in the Universe I belong to."
"Furthermore, I regret to say that the actions of you and the other three ladies might not be considered malicious interference, but they have indeed caused serious consequences."
"The intersections you created with others by crossing Universes..."
"...will cause two originally unrelated Universes to form a connection."
"Such behavior might not have been serious in the past."
"But now, the entire Multiverse is contracting, colliding, and collapsing."
"That small connection between two Universes created because of you is enough to make them collide with each other."
"Besides... you seem to have been constantly fighting against Shuma-Gorath's dimension."
"You are helping various Worlds resist Shuma-Gorath, but Shuma-Gorath is also tracking you."
"Wherever you go, that place is marked by Shuma-Gorath."
"In short, a large number of Universes are now heading toward destruction because of you, and the trend is still spreading through multi-dimensional links."
Captain Carter was the type of person who stuck to her principles, just like Captain America.
But she was also like Captain America in that she wouldn't deny her mistakes.
The more Jarvis spoke, the more it seemed to be the truth.
Carter's face grew increasingly pale.
Images of Universes colliding and countless lives perishing already appeared in her mind.
Countless screams vaguely began to echo in her ears.
"How could this be... We went to save people. We repelled Shuma-Gorath and protected those Worlds facing crisis..."
Carter gripped the armrest tightly, the blue veins on the back of her hand bulging.
The other three weren't doing much better.
They clearly wanted the World to become a paradise, but in the end, they let it fall into Hell.
Regret and dread surged into their chests like a tide, drowning them.
Carter's eyes remained vacant for a full three minutes.
She kept muttering under her breath, then gradually fell silent, becoming like a pool of stagnant water.
Black Strange watched with a frown and silently reached out his hand, wanting to cast a spell to soothe the emotions of the four.
But at that moment, Carter suddenly looked up, the regret in her eyes quickly replaced by urgency.
"We have to do something! Yes, we must do something!"
"I thought we were saving the World, but I didn't expect... that we were the ones driving the destruction of the Multiverse."
"Those Universes we couldn't reach, those Worlds that collided and collapsed because of our 'good deeds'..."
"Jarvis, Lyon, Strange, you must know a way to fix this, right? Tell us. No matter the price, we will definitely make amends!"
Jarvis didn't answer but turned back to look at Lyon.
After Lyon gave a slight nod.
It controlled the Time Devices at the necks of the four to click open.
Then it extended a palm: "Welcome to the TVA, Captain Carter, and you three ladies."
...The destruction of the Multiverse accelerated.
Whether for Battleworld or the God-Kingdom Universe...
...it wasn't actually a bad thing.
The reason Lyon investigated was only to eliminate dangerous factors.
Now that the factor had been found.
All that was needed was to dispatch TVA employees to carry out the mission, and that would be considered the conclusion.
After recruiting Carter's squad.
Several people moved to the command room.
Jarvis served tea to everyone and introduced the current operating method of the TVA.
"Speaking of which, this news might provide a bit of comfort to you ladies."
Lyon held a ceramic cup filled with steaming black tea, which had a soul-soothing effect.
"The reason for the Multiverse collisions, besides Doom's constriction of the timelines, actually had foreshadowing long ago."
"Captain America Steve Rogers, you ladies should be very familiar with him."
"On the branches of the sacred timeline, in almost every Universe, there is a Captain Americawho will travel to another World to marry and have children with the Carter there."
"Initially, we thought this was part of the sacred timeline, a high-probability event that occurred stably."
"But that was actually a hidden danger that could cause Universe collisions."
"Doctor Doom of Battleworld once confided this to me."
Lyon said, "He showed great malice toward Rogers, even believing that the Multiverse's path to destruction was caused by Superheroes like Captain America."
"In fact... what he said doesn't seem to be wrong." Lyon took a sip of black tea.
His face was as calm as a lake, but the expressions of the four ladies opposite him were quite spectacular, changing constantly like colored lights.
"If you want to make up for your mistakes, it's very simple. Just follow Jarvis's arrangements and carry out missions."
"He will formulate the most efficient action plan for you."
"But before that, we have to talk back about Waqtu."
Lyon put down his teacup, the bottom of the cup clinking against the table.
"What happened to Waqtu?"
The nightmare news of the Universe collisions had dazed the heads of Carter's squad.
Hearing Lyon mention Waqtu, they finally snapped out of it.
Carter frowned and neatly took a diamond-shaped fragment from her waist.
The fragment was transparent yet brilliantly colored, like a remnant of a shattered dream-like mirror.
"We only found this. The situation of the Observer... is unclear."
"This is..." Lyon took the fragment. "This is a fragment from the edge of the Observer's Domain."
Carter nodded. "When Waqtu took me through the Universes, I saw this kind of outer wall. I'm wondering if this fragment means Waqtu has encountered danger."
"It's very likely." Lyon pondered. "At least a battle occurred in the Observer Realm, and it's certain that people beyond the level of a single Universe were fighting."
"The Observer dies first before a major event begins."
"Good, now it seems Waqtu's situation is indeed grim."
Lyon began to mourn in advance for this old friend who was still somewhat unfamiliar.
Chapter 614: Supreme Observer, Invincible
A spaceship took off from the TVA.
Porty Duck from Carter's team had built it.
This young girl, besides being a hybrid of duck and human and possessing superpowers, also had a brilliant Super Brain.
Buzz, buzz, buzz.
Using a fragment of the Observer Realm as a beacon, the ship navigated straight toward the Five-Dimensional Space.
However, its power source was not enough to support it crossing into higher dimensions.
That was why Carter's team had sought out the God-Kingdom Universe.
Their goal was to seek help from Lyon and Black Strange.
"You just need to keep providing energy, like flooring the gas pedal."
Porty Duck sat in the pilot's seat and turned on the auto-navigation.
Carter and several others buckled their seatbelts.
They gave Lyon a thumbs up: "Ready, ignition... Whoaaaa!"
The Divine Power in Lyon's body gushed out like a broken dam, pouring into the ship's energy System.
That massive energy covered the ship like a vast ocean submerging a small boat.
The entire ship had no power to resist; it instantly became like a giant puff of light, blooming with a dazzling white glow.
The brutal acceleration pushed it to the peak in an instant, surpassing the speed of light and disappearing into the Void Realm outside the TVA.
Whoosh!
The high-speed ship leaped through space and then came to a halt.
The four members of Carter's team clutched their heads, feeling the discomfort of the rapid acceleration.
Lyon, Jarvis, and Black Strange stood in the rear section of the ship.
The three of them, however, looked perfectly normal.
"Is this the Observer Realm?" Black Strange looked out through the porthole at the multicolored space.
Lyon shook his head: "Not yet. This is the Five-Dimensional Space; the Observer Realm is a part of it."
The Five-Dimensional Space was in an outer layer of the Realm of Split and was much larger than the Realm of Split.
Without the guidance of the fragment and without relying on his Transmigration ability, it would be difficult for Lyon to find the Observer Realm in this boundless area.
The ship's current position was already very close to the Observer Realm.
The fragment, which had been floating in the isolation device, was now shaking constantly, releasing a colorful halo.
Lyon activated his Super Vision and could see the fragment resonating with a distant area.
"Found it."
His Bio-field expanded, enveloping the ship.
After a flicker, the ship crossed through space, entering another area as if passing through a film of water.
This place was constructed from visible layers of dimensional interlayers.
Black Strange looked out, feeling as if he had arrived in a World where five-dimensional concepts were materialized.
"Young Master, high-energy aggregates detected."
Jarvis's eyes glowed as he pointed in a direction outside the ship.
There, three Observers stood side by side.
Before them was an Observer, bound and kneeling on the ground.
The ship's reckless intrusion into the Observer Realm had undoubtedly caught their attention.
"Ah, Lyon, it's you! And Strange, Carter!" the kneeling Observer cried out in shock.
He was undoubtedly Waqtu.
Although the Observer race looked similar—all with large bald heads, bulbous eyes, and blue capes—
Waqtu was darker and thinner than the other three.
The ship's side door clicked open, and a ladder descended.
Lyon floated out, his expression somewhat surprised: "So you're not dead yet, Waqtu."
He had thought Waqtu had been killed and the major event had officially begun.
That was why he had come along to see the specific situation.
He had even prepared himself mentally to find a bald corpse with its eyes gouged out.
To his surprise, Waqtu was still alive and well.
Waqtu was clearly stunned and shook his head while kneeling.
"Not dead for now... What are you doing here?"
Having recovered, Carter jumped down from the ship at this moment: "We're here to save you."
Waqtu was speechless. He hadn't expected this group to be so fierce that they would dare to barge into the Five-Dimensional Space just to save him.
Carter's words were like a fuse, igniting the anger of the other three Observers.
The bald man in the lead had a face as cold as water as he looked down at Waqtu.
"Look, Waqtu! These people you value so much are insignificant to the Multiverse, yet now they have threatened the Five-Dimensional Space."
"Do you still not understand how foolish it is to violate our oath and meddle in the Multiverse at will!"
Someone had just launched a broad insult.
Lyon raised an eyebrow.
Insignificant? Who was that supposed to be referring to?
"Gentlemen, you know the Multiverse is heading toward destruction, and you know what's happening in Battleworld and the Realm of Split, right?" Lyon said with his arms crossed.
The three Observers looked at Lyon.
The leader spoke: "I know you, Lyon Stark of the S Universe, a special person with no Temporal Variants."
"Is that so? Then shouldn't you take back your previous evaluation?"
"...Heh." The man chuckled softly. "You are no more important than Doom of Battleworld. That is my evaluation."
Lyon slowly descended: "An interesting evaluation. And who are you?"
"I am Waqtu's mentor, the supervisor who observes the Observers, the... Supreme Observer."
The Supreme Observer looked into Lyon's eyes.
"Lyon Stark, you have made some contributions to the Multiverse. Leave now, and we can overlook your association with Waqtu."
The Supreme Observer's condescending attitude and all-seeing gaze made Lyon pause for a moment.
"You won't settle accounts with me?"
He had just returned from the DC Universe.
Killing the Anti-Monitor, ravaging Darkseid's true body, clearing the Death Metal event... his record was verifiable.
Now, the Supreme Observer was claiming to give him a pass.
Should he be happy?
"Good... very good. Waqtu, tell me, why are you being detained?"
Lyon suddenly turned to ask Waqtu.
He had originally come here just to check the cause of Waqtu's death.
As for whether Waqtu lived or died, they weren't close; it wasn't his business.
But things were different now.
"Waqtu is my dear friend! How can he be detained!"
Lyon stared directly at the Supreme Observer, a red glow gradually lighting up in his eyes as if lava were about to erupt.
His Super Brain was urging him to use his super strength again.
Waqtu watched from the side, dazed.
He turned pale with fright: "Lyon, calm down, Lyon!"
"The Supreme is imprisoning me because I violated the Observer race's oath not to interfere with the Multiverse. It has nothing to do with you."
"You still have to save the Multiverse. Nothing must happen to you!"
Waqtu was a rebellious Observer.
Other Observers swore never to interfere with the Universe.
They would only observe, without bringing in personal emotions.
But Waqtu was different.
He was always moved by the stories of different Universes.
He always wanted to help Superheroes, wanted to prune the branches of the Universe and eliminate villains.
And he had put this into practice many times.
Even though he had been discovered, imprisoned, and was even about to be executed by the Supreme Observer—
Waqtu remained true to his original intentions and still held to his views.
But now he wavered.
If Lyon died because of him, he would be a sinner against the Multiverse.
"Lyon, don't worry about me. I deserve this! Leave quickly, take Carter and the others and leave!"
Waqtu's hands were bound by energy shackles, and he struggled frantically.
"You can't defeat the Supreme! Their abilities are beyond your imagination!"
"They have seen all the different variants of everyone in the Multiverse, seen every moment of every person's life, and seen every kind of amazing extraordinary power."
"Run! Run! They are invincible!"
Chapter 615: What Is Going On?
"What invincibility? I don't understand that."
Lyon's feet slowly lifted off the ground, his hands hanging at his sides, clenched into fists.
"Wait, what are you going to do? Don't be impulsive!"
Waqtu was so anxious he was sweating profusely.
Even when being chased across the Multiverse by Infinite Ultron, he hadn't been this flustered.
For the first time, Waqtu felt that the stubbornness of Superheroes could be quite despairing.
Seeing Lyon remain unmoved.
He hurriedly tried to persuade the three Supreme Observers.
"Lyon has nothing to do with this; he is crucial to the future of the Multiverse!"
"The Observers' oath is to never interfere in the Multiverse."
"Supreme One, you cannot attack them; this is not our way of doing things!"
Upon hearing this, the leading Supreme Observer narrowed his eyes, which were filled with azure light.
"Hah, you still remember the oath, Waqtu. Precisely because of that, we must break it now!"
He surveyed the crowd surrounding them.
The hostility Lyon displayed was not taken seriously by him.
Just like other Observers, the Supreme Observer also lacked a strong sense of self.
In the countless eons of their long existence.
They watched Universes be born, saw life sprout, and witnessed them die and be destroyed.
Forever standing from an Observer's perspective, forever aloof and above it all.
They would not be emotionally stirred by the provocations of ordinary beings.
Unless that person violated the Observers' oath or threatened their lives.
"Lyon from the S Universe, abandon your pointless resistance and leave this place."
"And she!"
The Supreme suddenly pointed directly at Carter.
"She and all the others must stay, to be executed alongside Waqtu."
Waqtu was as if struck by lightning: "Why?"
"Waqtu, you leaked the secrets of the order and intervened in the operation of Universes. Lila Williams, Reed Richards, Nick Fury... how many Universes have been disrupted because of you?"
"And among them, she, Peggy Carter, possesses a fatal threat unmatched by anyone else!"
"Due to your interference, this person has recklessly traveled between Universes, spreading influences that should never have appeared across multiple Worlds."
"Now she has even led people into the Five-Dimensional Space."
"Your blasphemy against the The Watchers Cult can only be cleansed through Death!"
The Supreme Observer's voice gradually grew louder and more sinister.
The moment his words fell.
Dozens of energy-condensed ropes instantly shot out from the dimensional fissures, binding everyone, including Lyon.
Hum!
Jarvis's chest erupted with Six Infinity Stone energy, while Black Strange's palms surged with dimensional energy.
Two beams of energy erupted, severing every rope.
The Supreme Observer looked at the dissipating energy ropes and frowned.
He stared at the two: "Useless resistance."
Jarvis and Black Strange exchanged a glance and simultaneously unleashed their most powerful attacks on the Supreme Observer.
Beams of multicolored and pitch-black light pierced through space, erupting upon the Supreme Observer.
However, that terrifying energy, enough to easily destroy a Universe.
Upon reaching the Supreme Observer, splashed off like water, merely making him frown slightly, causing no actual harm.
"You think you can defeat me? That's just delusion."
The Supreme Observer's expression turned indifferent, as if a deity had finally stirred to anger.
He lowered the arm he had instinctively raised to block the attacks.
Then, using his head, he stubbornly advanced against their energy beams.
"What?" Black Strange's expression changed. "He's no weaker than Infinite Ultron!"
"Infinite Ultron?" The Supreme sneered amidst the energy beams.
"You defeated Ultron, stole its body, and think you're invincible across the Multiverse?"
The Supreme advanced step by step.
On the other side, Waqtu, whose bindings had been cut, hurriedly ran toward Lyon.
He grabbed Lyon's arm, who had gone from gearing up for a fight to a spectator mode.
"Quick, Lyon, run now while you can!"
Waqtu was so anxious he lost control of his expression.
"I'll stay behind with Strange and the others to cover the retreat. You take them and run!"
"We can't defeat the Supreme. You don't understand the Supreme's power!"
Lyon, however, pressed down on Waqtu's shoulder instead: "Calm down, buddy. Trust me, the Supreme Observer is nothing. I promise."
"But some of what he said is right. You really shouldn't interfere with the Multiverse."
"Not because of your weird oath, but because reckless interference can easily cause cosmic collisions."
The Supreme Observer heard Lyon's words.
A rare flash of anger crossed his face.
"You're wasting your efforts. No one can escape now!"
"Even an abstract conceptual entity cannot defy the oath of the The Watchers Cult!"
As his words fell, the other two Supreme Observers suddenly teleported, appearing beside Lyon, surrounding him.
The three Supremes were perfectly in sync, like the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, a trinity.
By now, the leading Supreme had closed in on Jarvis and Black Strange.
The two were already outputting at overload, their bodies momentarily unable to even move.
They watched in horror as the Supreme Observer approached, withstanding the terrifying energy bombardment, his hand moving toward their foreheads.
Neither doubted that hand possessed the power to easily crush their skulls.
"He... he is far stronger than Infinite Ultron, even far surpassing the full output of the Infinity Stones...!"
Jarvis's computational power was running at full capacity.
It had never imagined anyone's power could be this immense.
Even the Infinity Stones were like mayflies compared to the vast ocean before this power.
Jarvis suddenly turned its head to look at Lyon.
It grew anxious.
Jarvis's assessment of Lyon's strength was still at the stage of being slightly stronger than Infinite Ultron.
So it couldn't help but worry.
As an intelligent lifeform with sub-units, Jarvis did not fear Death.
Its only concern was its young master, Lyon.
"Young Master, please leave this place!"
The six gems on Jarvis's chest suddenly erupted with a lethal brilliance, dazzling as if they would extinguish the next moment.
Black Strange sensed what Jarvis intended to do.
He was momentarily stunned, glanced at Lyon, clenched his teeth tightly, and faint eyeballs began to emerge on his body.
"Your Majesty, please take care of..."
Black Strange prepared to go all out, coordinating with Jarvis.
At that moment.
Snap!
Without warning, Lyon vanished from between the two Observers and appeared in front of Jarvis.
Then, with one hand, he grasped the Supreme Observer's outstretched wrist.
With his other hand, he patted Jarvis's chest and then tapped Black Strange's forehead.
In the next instant.
The glow from the gems on Jarvis's chest extinguished.
The eyeballs emerging from under Black Strange's skin disappeared.
The energy beams erupting from the two also dissipated completely.
"You two, what Strange things are you suddenly saying?"
Lyon stood with his back to them, looking down at the Supreme Observer's large head.
"Not even an abstract conceptual entity can defy the The Watchers Cult? You really dare to say that."
The Supreme was stunned, then became enraged.
"Lyon Stark!"
"Hmph, the The Watchers Cult has existed since the dawn of the Multiverse."
"I know everything about you. You gained Eternity's recognition, you defeated Ultron, you tried to save the entire Multiverse."
"And you, born only a few decades ago, know nothing about us."
"Even an abstract conceptual entity like you, since you defy the order, shall be silenced."
"When you return after billions of years, you will remember what happened tod..."
The Supreme Observer, with a hint of anger on his face, lectured while trying to pull his hand free.
"Tod..."
"Tod..."
"Tod..."
However, he found that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't pull his wrist free from Lyon's grip.
"Today... What is going on?"
A trace of confusion appeared on the Supreme's large head.
Chapter 616: Even the Supreme Observers Need a Fusion Move
The Supreme Observer began to exert more force.
The Supreme Observer used his full power.
The Supreme Observer's face turned red from the effort, but he still couldn't pull his wrist back.
"This kind of... power, how can it... exist... in the Multiverse...!"
The Supreme had squeezed out every bit of strength in his body; even speaking felt like an exhaustion of his limits.
He looked up at Lyon Stark in disbelief, the blue light in his eyes becoming illusory for a moment.
It wasn't the first time the Supreme had seen Lyon.
As the most powerful Observer, he had seen all the prominent figures of every species in this Multiverse.
Lyon was naturally no exception.
In the Supreme's eyes, this was just a newly born abstract conceptual entity, nothing to be feared.
But seeing the calm smile on Lyon's face and feeling the other party's gaze, which lacked much warmth, things felt different.
The Supreme Observer tried to yank his wrist again, but it remained motionless.
He unconsciously swallowed his saliva, suddenly feeling a chill rush from the soles of his feet straight to his neck, making his hair stand on end.
At that moment, Lyon suddenly raised his arm.
The Supreme was lifted into the air without any resistance.
"The me you see is only a part of me."
Lyon whispered to the Supreme.
"The me you know is also just the past me, not the present me."
The Supreme Observer's understanding of Lyon's strength was not much different from Jarvis's.
Lyon's previous battle with Doctor Doom had taken place at the end of time, accompanied throughout by the tearing and resetting of time.
Aside from the two parties involved and Shen Loki...
No fourth person knew what had happened then.
Thus, the current misunderstanding arose.
Under the Supreme Observer's terrified gaze...
Lyon raised his leg and kicked him in the abdomen.
The movement wasn't fast; it was even elegant, not looking like a fight, and even less like a combat Move.
It was as if an artistic stone carving had suddenly stretched its limbs to show tourists its perfect posture for a commemorative photo.
But the Supreme Observer nearly died at that moment.
He felt as if his abdomen had been struck by a Universe—no, by a Multiverse.
He turned into a meteor; the World within his sight instantly faded, changing from vibrant colors to black and white.
Even his dimension was collapsing, as if his flesh-and-blood entity was being compressed into an oil painting by an incredibly massive force.
The others only saw the Supreme Observer flying backward, shattering the Realm Wall and then the Five-Dimensional Wall.
Finally, he plunged into the Universe, shattering layer after layer of Cosmic Crystal Walls.
Meanwhile, Lyon slowly retracted his leg, still floating in place, breathing deeply.
For a moment, everyone had an illusion that the entire Observer Realm was expanding with Lyon's inhalation and contracting with his exhalation.
The other two Supreme Observers froze, their mouths hanging open wider than their fists.
Then Lyon suddenly reached out his arm toward the air in front of him.
The empty air seemed to become solid before him.
His arm submerged into the Void Realm like it was dipping into water; behind that void was another World.
After a bit of searching, Lyon actually pulled the Supreme who had just flown away out from a series of ripples.
This Supreme Observer was in a miserable state now.
Half of his body was mangled, and he was on the verge of Death, with very few vital signs left.
Lyon tossed him toward the other two Supreme Observers.
"As the strongest Observers, if you only have this much strength, I'm afraid you won't survive the destruction of the Universe."
Lyon looked up at the top of the Observer Realm and then glanced left and right, as if looking for a suitable burial ground.
"If you have other abilities, use them quickly."
"Otherwise, rather than dying in the destruction of the Universe as bystanders..."
"It's better to return to the embrace of Death early today."
"When the time comes, there might even be a place for you in the Domain of Death within the newborn Multiverse."
Lyon folded his arms and began to wait.
The two Supreme Observers scrambled to catch the Supreme.
They looked at each other.
"What should we do..."
"We can only... only use that."
The two of them propped up the Supreme together, faced Lyon, and subconsciously opened their mouths to say something threatening.
But thinking of Lyon's performance...
They lost their nerve, and the words were swallowed back into their stomachs.
However, it was clear that what came next would be an earth-shattering ultimate Move.
If they didn't say something, their lives would feel incomplete.
So, one of the Supremes said weakly, "Now, we are going to become very strong."
The next moment.
A power that could be described as magnificent suddenly rose from them.
The two Supremes, carrying the dying Supreme, spun and rose into the air.
They became a trinity, rotating at high speed in the air, their energies merging, their minds connecting, achieving Fusion into one.
—The Supreme power belonging to the Observers was activated.
Rumble!
A terrifying pressure descended from the sky, enveloping everyone.
Following closely was a glow of energy that scattered throughout the entire Multiverse.
That glow was holy and Supreme, carrying an unrivaled and unstoppable momentum that suppressed everything.
"Aaaaaah!" The weakest among the group, Carter Squad, suddenly broke out in screams.
They curled up, their hands unconsciously trying to block in front of them.
Behind them, one illusory yet lifelike Shadow after another appeared, only to shatter instantly.
Those were all their parallel World Variants within the MCU Multiverse.
After the three Supremes achieved Body Integration, they erupted with a brilliant energy that covered everything, enveloping the entire Multiverse.
That energy could erase all of a person's 'existence'.
"We... will erase all of your Variants, completely wiping your existence from the Multiverse!"
After the Fusion, the leading Supreme Observer's injuries improved, and he regained consciousness.
Seeing the suffering Carter squad, he instinctively let out a shout.
Then he immediately saw Lyon.
"We are invincible! Even you, Lyon Stark, cannot... probably cannot, withstand this..."
The Supreme Observer's voice gradually weakened.
Because while shattered phantoms appeared behind everyone else and everything about their existence began to be erased from the root...
Lyon still floated there with a normal expression.
"Not a bad ability."
Lyon nodded slightly in approval.
"The Body Integration of you three is already no worse than Battleworld's Doctor Doom."
(Among the current MCU characters, the first tier consists of Shen Loki, the Integrated Observers, and Idealistic Carter.)
As Lyon's words fell, a red glow suddenly lit up in his eyes.
Heat Vision erupted!
Without any warning.
The crimson beams swept out like the sharpest blade in the World, splitting the Observer Realmin two.
The heaven-reaching Heat Vision struck the Integrated Observers in an instant.
The invincible Integrated Observers screamed, blood splattered, they fell, and then they were defeated.
The three Supreme Observers fell.
They were heavily wounded by the Heat Vision, separated in the air, fell into a coma, and plummeted down.
"Supreme!"
Waqtu endured the pain in his body, flew into the air, and caught the three Supremes.
He had just been injured by the Integrated Observers' Move.
But he was a very soft-hearted person.
The leading Supreme Observer was his mentor.
He had flown out instinctively.
Waqtu placed the three Supremes on the ground.
Lyon slowly drifted down beside him.
"Lyon, you..." Waqtu hesitated, but in the end, he didn't say any words of persuasion.
"Don't worry."
Lyon patted Waqtu on the back, giving him a start.
"Waqtu, since you can never help interfering with the Multiverse, you must really want to change the corrupt old oaths of The Watchers Cult."
Lyon hinted meaningfully.
"Ah, me?"
Meeting Lyon's deep gaze, Waqtu pointed at himself blankly.
Chapter 617: A Beautiful Day
When the Supreme Observer weakly opened his eyes, he saw Lyon Stark and Waqtu looking down at him.
"Are you... going to kill me?" He felt he had no chance of survival.
The Supreme was very weak; the Heat Vision had shattered his already severely injured body.
The blue light in his eyes was as dim as a decades-old dyed incandescent bulb.
He murmured weakly, "Why... why didn't I see your strength... nor foresee any of this..."
Lyon patted Waqtu's back, letting him take the lead.
Waqtu looked down at his mentor, a whirlwind of thoughts in his heart.
"You have been an Observer for too long, Mentor."
Waqtu said in a low voice, "You've grown accustomed to looking down on everyone from on high, thinking they are merely stories in your eyes, fleeting shadows."
"That's why it's hard for you to imagine something that exceeds your knowledge, something you've never seen before."
The Supreme Observer slowly turned his head, looking helplessly at Waqtu.
"Is that so... Waqtu, then how... did you foresee this scene?"
The Supreme was utterly dazed.
Since his birth, he had always been high and mighty, never fought anyone, nor did he believe anyone could fight him.
He believed he knew everything in the World, that nothing held secrets before him.
But today, he was defeated.
Defeated by Lyon, whom he saw as having no secrets, with a power he had never seen and could not comprehend.
At this moment, the Supreme Observer's thoughts were in chaos; his worldview and philosophy were collapsing.
Clearly, Waqtu didn't understand Lyon either and had even desperately urged Lyon to escape earlier.
But now, the Supreme Observer could no longer think that much.
He was doubting himself, even suspecting that Waqtu had taken the right path.
"I could foresee all this because I learned from the people I value and care about."
Waqtu pursed his lips, seizing the chance to pour out his own agenda.
"Mentor, as long as you are willing to set aside your prejudices, lower your posture, and engage, to perceive, you can learn new things in every corner of the Multiverse."
The Supreme Observer stared blankly at Waqtu, then looked at Lyon.
"So... I was wrong? Is the Cult wrong too..."
"Now, Lyon Stark, will you kill me, just like you killed Thanos?"
Lyon smiled: "No, you are Waqtu's mentor. I think he would be very sad if you died."
Waqtu also said: "That's not our style, Mentor."
"Style..." The Supreme Observer was stunned. "Even now, after seeing us prepare to execute you, you are still willing to abide by the Cult's oath?"
"I have never forgotten it," Waqtu said.
"Everything I have comes from your teachings. What I must do now is repay that guidance."
He glanced at Lyon again and continued: "Mentor, you should understand now. If we only observe, we only see things as they appear on the surface, and in the end, we will only decay."
"To truly understand the meaning of all things, we need comprehension."
The Supreme Observer was still in a daze: "Comprehend... how... comprehend?"
"To comprehend, you must engage, you must practice," Waqtu said, looking at Lyon.
Lyon nodded and said: "Exactly. In fact, there's a particularly excellent way to practice right now—"
"Saving the Multiverse."
"There is no better way to deeply understand its meaning than saving Worlds."
"Moreover, we are already at the end of this cosmic era."
"You have upheld the Cult's oath for so long."
"Even if you are lucky enough to survive until the next era of the Multiverse's Rebirth, will you still continue to uphold it?"
"I have never seen an immortal cult, much less an immortal doctrine."
"Old friends, it's time to get moving, or the new era might not have a ticket for you."
Lyon looked at the three Supremes and spread his hands.
The hidden dagger is revealed.
What Lyon actually wanted to do was recruit The Watchers Cult.
But this wasn't purely for the Multiverse.
In fact.
In his heart, Lyon didn't care what the Multiverse would ultimately become.
Nor did he care how many Universes would eventually be packed into the God-Kingdom Universe.
What he cared about most had never changed.
From the day he awakened his Superman bloodline at eighteen.
What he wanted was to keep getting stronger.
What mattered most was whether he was stronger today than yesterday.
If the World he was reborn into wasn't also a part of the Multiverse.
If Tony wasn't there, Pepper wasn't there, Kara, Diana, and the others weren't there.
If not for these reasons.
Lyon truly wouldn't care what happened to this World.
At most, he would save some people within his sight as best he could.
But now, because his own World was here, and those who had helped him and those he cared about were here.
That's why he was going to such great lengths to save the World.
The Rege Duo Clone created hundreds of millions of M-Bodies.
Lyon had to split his focus to control each and every one.
It seemed like he was squatting in the center of the God-Kingdom every day, retreating into his little tower as his own sovereign.
But in reality, he was the busiest person in the entire TVA.
His Super Brain was operating at full capacity every moment, processing information from the hundreds of millions of M-Bodies.
Those Spider-Men, Hawkeyes, Banners... started complaining about being tired after working continuously for seven or eight months.
Unlike him, constantly toiling on the great cause of saving the Universe.
Lyon was certainly not a workaholic.
What he always enjoyed were those days sitting on the balcony basking in the Sun.
But the truth was, besides him, few in the TVA could quickly relocate those Earths about to collide.
Now, things were better. Free labor had finally come knocking.
And it was high-quality labor, arriving as an entire race, each possessing super-singularity level strength.
Lyon's face was as steady as a general strategizing from his tent.
But in his heart, he was determined to rope in the entire Observer race, even if it meant losing face.
Waqtu cooperated by nodding repeatedly: "Yes, when could be more suitable than now?"
"Come on, Mentor. The Cult has reached a time when it needs to change!"
"We can start here, join Lyon, and learn to comprehend."
Waqtu reached out his hand toward the Supreme Observer.
The Observer Realm where they stood fell silent for a moment.
The three Supremes were silent, silently looking at Waqtu's outstretched hand.
Jarvis and Black Strange were also silent.
Their minds couldn't wrap around the situation.
They had never seen such a hardcore recruitment... no, such a swindle.
Thinking that a few words could convert these cosmic antiquities seemed impossible.
Forget these three old fossils; even a normal person wouldn't be fooled into leaving.
However.
Slap!
A hand landed on Waqtu's hand.
Supporting each other, the three Supremes stood up.
Under Lyon's witness.
They and Waqtu looked at each other and smiled.
Everything was understood without words.
Jarvis and Black Strange remained silent.
Lyon, however, laughed heartily: "Welcome to the TVA!"
In the Marvel Universe, some heroes and villains would not yield even when facing enemies hundreds or thousands of times stronger.
But there are also some Supreme beings who deeply understand the principle that 'might makes right.'
As soon as they are defeated, they can immediately 'distinguish right from wrong' and wave the white flag.
Led by the three 'turncoat' big brothers.
All Observers of The Watchers Cult.
Naturally joined the TVA.
This was a group of powerhouses, each starting at super-singularity level strength.
Once they were merely Observers, not interfering with the Universe's operation.
So the beings of the Multiverse knew nothing about them.
Now that they had joined the TVA, they started doing the 'brick-moving' work (relocating Earths).
Thus, the Multiverse immediately began to shrink at a visible rate.
And the line of Universes queuing outside the God-Kingdom Universe grew longer and longer.
A new day.
Lyon held a ceramic teacup, watching the timelines rapidly decreasing on the large screen.
"So fast."
Ever since The Watchers Cult joined the TVA.
His mood grew more pleasant with each passing day.
"Another beautiful day."
Chapter 618: The Fun-Loving Life of Abstract Entities
After The Watchers Cult joined, the TVA entered a much more efficient period.
Every day, as soon as the Observers opened their eyes, they worked; once they finished, they closed them... wait, sorry, Observers are transcendent lifeforms; they don't actually need sleep.
Besides, with the heavy responsibility of saving the Multiverse on their shoulders, even if they could sleep, how could they possibly rest?
This group of fellows strictly adhered to their doctrines.
Once their oath was changed, they began to practice the new oath without a moment's pause.
Originally, they were deep Introverts who lived outside isolated Universes and might not say a single word for a hundred million years.
But after Waqtu changed their oath to "Deeply Understand the Universe..."
The Observers transformed instantly, not only becoming worker ants that never rested but also turning into extreme Extroverts with perpetual motion machines installed in their mouths.
Every time they moved an Earth, they would take the opportunity to practice their eloquence on the humans of that Earth.
Although that was one of their ways of understanding the Universe.
In Lyon's eyes, that kind of non-stop talking, which gave others no chance to speak, was no different from practicing speech in front of a mirror.
Time passed like Deadpool chasing Peter; half a year soon went by in the God-Kingdom Universe.
And outside the God-Kingdom.
Because they had the TVA's time equipment.
Every employee had actually spent long years within various universes.
And those Observers, who had rebounded from silence to become chatterboxes...
Finally finished saying all the words they had bottled up for countless years over that long period.
Then, they became silent once more.
The more time passed, the more silent they became.
The Observers finally began to realize something was wrong.
But they didn't know exactly what was wrong.
They pondered this philosophical question while moving bricks.
Only after moving bricks for a long time did the new Multiverse appear.
The three Supremes changed the oath back to its original form.
The Observers were no longer super-porters.
They learned from the Iron Men on the Dimension Continent, lying on rocking chairs on sunny beaches, drinking cola, and playing virtual games, finally breathing a sigh of relief.
—Right, this is right.
It turns out observing the Universe wasn't the truth, and understanding the Universe wasn't the Righteous Path; only lying flat was the true meaning of life.
The Observers finally realized they had been fooled by Lyon and Waqtu.
Unfortunately, everything was different now.
The long years spent saving the Universe...
Had allowed the Observers to develop unparalleled eloquence.
They didn't dare question Lyon, so they could only vent their frustration using the new skills they had developed.
And so, that day.
The virtual network of the newborn Multiverse welcomed a large group of baldies from Zuan, sharp-tongued and ready to spew 'fragrance' at any moment... Now, it was half a year after the Observers joined.
Inside the God-Kingdom Universe.
The Star Domain belonging to the 199999-S Universe.
A patch of starry sky five thousand light-years away from Earth.
This was the Rosette Nebula.
A cosmic rose spanning one hundred and thirty light-years.
Million-year-old stellar winds brushed against those deep red, magnificent petals.
Amidst the swaying petals.
A group of strangely shaped beings were soaking in the light of a blue-white star.
The scorching waves of hydrogen and helium plasma buffeted their bodies, yet it felt as comfortable as a hot spring.
These beings formed a circle, enjoying the comfort of their private solar bath.
One individual, whose entire body seemed composed of the starry sky, soaked in the plasma heat and let out a happy sound.
He asked, "Death, is there anything interesting to share at this gathering?"
Who could have imagined?
This group of beings enjoying a sunbath...
Were actually all Supreme cosmic deities—Abstract Entities.
Since integrating into the God-Kingdom Universe.
These deities were extremely happy.
Like Zeus of Omnipotence City, they would hold gatherings from time to time.
However, the content of the gatherings wasn't as lewd as Zeus'.
Instead, they gathered around to share the interesting things they had recently collected.
Hearing Eternity's impatient tone.
Death, who had a curvaceous figure but the face of a grim skeleton, waved her hand.
"Of course there is, and this time it's about our old friend, the Devourer of Worlds."
"Uncle Devourer?"
"It's actually him!"
"Interesting, interesting! Tell us quickly, Auntie Death!"
"Hmm... I remember Uncle Devourer didn't join the God-Kingdom Universe. Did he go to the Void Land? Or is he still searching for habitable Planets?"
"Everyone quiet, listen to Death."
Infinity silenced the juniors' chatter and looked at Death expectantly.
Aside from going to the Dimension Continent every week to suppress the market on XX Day, what she looked forward to most was the gossip at these gatherings.
Death gave a cold, haughty chuckle.
"Come, let's take a look together."
She waved her hand, using Divine Power to condense a live scene before the gods.
The image showed a group of Spider-Men.
"Eh? Weren't we going to see Uncle Devourer? Why are there these Little Spiders?"
"Shh, don't talk. Love, you've watched this so many times, don't you know the backstory by now?"
In the scene Death conjured, the images slowly shifted... One day ago.
Dimension Continent.
"Let me see, let me see!"
"Don't push, don't push! I'm talking to you, Peter Parker!"
"You're also Peter Parker, why are you suddenly talking nonsense?"
"Everyone stop arguing, stop it! If you want to argue, go back to work at the TVA!"
"Yeah, yeah! It was hard enough to get time off from that annoying Jar... cough, cough, from the respected Mr. Jarvis. All of you be quiet!"
A group of Spider-Men gathered in the square of Spider Town.
This town was an area exclusive to Spider-Men.
Every building came from the unique ingenuity of the various Spider-Men.
On this free continent, they could design their own secret Bases as they pleased.
Looking down from high above, the town had cyberpunk-style skyscrapers, rural-style Villas, and even a castle built from Lego bricks.
The houses were arranged row upon row in concentric circles, covering an area of nearly a hundred square kilometers and housing hundreds of thousands of Spider-Men.
Today, many Spider-Men were gathered together.
In their words...
It was to witness the occurrence of a miracle.
And also to witness the moment a young boy grew into a Superhero.
This boy was Little Peter from the 199999-S Universe.
So much time had passed.
The S Universe had already reached the year 2018.
Little Peter had also grown from a 6-year-old child into a 16-year-old teenager.
In this year, Earth was originally supposed to experience the Thanos invasion.
But the Thanos of the S Universe had long since been thrown off a cliff by Gamora and Nebula.
Naturally, Earth was calm and peaceful, with quiet years.
Now, the grown-up Little Peter finally got the chance to come to the Dimension Continent.
Because he had met Holland-Spider when he was a child and knew he would become Spider-Man in the future.
So, Little Peter directly requested Jarvis to send him to Spider-Man Town.
Today, he would complete his most important transformation here, witnessed by many Spider-Men.
"Everyone, I... I'm ready!"
Little Peter took a deep breath and slowly unzipped his backpack.
On that face, which was almost identical to Holland-Spider's when he was young...
It was now filled with nervousness and trepidation.
He took an ecosphere out of his backpack.
Inside were various types of spiders that Little Peter had raised since he was a child.
"Come on, little guys, it's time to do your part. Hurry up and bite me!"
Little Peter gritted his teeth and thrust his hand into the ecosphere.
Chapter 619: Spider Monster, But Quickly Defeated
Perhaps it was because Little Peter raised them since they were small.
Hearing his call, the spiders in the Ecological Tank all started moving.
"Look at that White-fronted Huntsman Spider, its legs are so long, faster than Aunt Mei. If you ask me, choose it! After being bitten, you'll definitely be able to run very fast!"
"Hey! Does Aunt Mei know you think she walks slowly? If you ask me, the Jumping Spider is better."
"Exactly! Look at this Little Jumping Spider, big eyes, great eyesight. After being bitten, little guy, you'll definitely be able to jump high and see far!"
"No, no. What use is jumping high among skyscrapers? If you're choosing, pick the Wall Spider. Its webs are exquisite and beautiful, simply works of art!"
"Nonsense! Little Peter, listen to me. None of these spiders will do. I found you a Six-Eyed Sand Spider..."
If the noise made by one Spider-Man is equivalent to five hundred ducks quacking together.
Then this group of guys surrounding Little Peter had already produced the global quack volume of all Waterfowl for an entire year.
Some of them were giving Little Peter advice, while others argued that intentionally getting bitten wouldn't make him Spider-Man.
The most outrageous one had to be Punk Spider-Man.
He somehow found a highly venomous Six-Eyed Sand Spider and claimed that after being bitten, Little Peter could become the Poison King.
Little Peter was annoyed by their clamor.
Finally, he took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and recklessly grabbed all the spiders in the Ecological Tank.
Those spiders—whether venomous, non-venomous, or even irradiated—all gave him Face.
In just a few seconds, Little Peter's palm was covered in bite marks.
Seeing this, everyone stopped talking, held their breath, and fell silent for a moment.
But only for a moment.
Soon, they started discussing again, all talking at once.
"Damn it, all the spiders bit him!"
"Crap, now we might not be able to distinguish which one was Little Peter's Destined Spider."
"Sigh, what a pity. Little Peter still didn't choose my Six-Eyed Sand Spider in the end."
The chattering sounds surrounded Little Peter.
A few minutes passed.
When Little Peter slowly opened his eyes, his gaze swept across the Spider Masks in front of him.
He only felt that today's sunlight was exceptionally strong, blinding him until everything was blurry, and even the sounds he heard were indistinct.
He couldn't help but reach up to touch his forehead, feeling light-headed and feverish, before collapsing onto the ground.
"Oh! Wait, our little guy collapsed. He... too many of those spiders were venomous. He's been poisoned!"
"How could this happen? Damn it, I told you not to be so careless! Hurry, hurry, take him to my place, I'm a Doctor!"
Little Peter was poisoned and unconscious.
A group of Spider-Men frantically picked him up and rushed toward the home of the Spider-Manwho used to be a Doctor.
However, no one noticed that Lumps were constantly rising beneath Little Peter's skin, rapidly swelling.
At this time, Gwen was also among the crowd.
But she was in a very peripheral area.
She could only squat on the exterior wall of a tall building, using Binoculars to observe the situation from afar.
Heaven knows how many Spider-Men had arrived; the entire plaza was densely packed with people.
"What happened? Did it not succeed?"
Gwen noticed a disturbance in the crowd, and the people in the center swung out using Web Fluid.
"Where are they taking Little Peter... Wait, what is that..."
To see more clearly.
Gwen pulled off her Mask.
She was shocked to see Little Peter's arms burst through his sleeves, transforming into Three-fingered Talons.
But this was only the beginning.
Little Peter's body, which was tucked under someone's armpit, was expanding at a visible rate.
In just a few breaths, two more pairs of Talons grew out from between his ribs, the same thickness as his arms!
As soon as the Talons grew out, they instinctively clawed at the surroundings.
The Spider-Man holding Little Peter was pierced in the waist by the Talons and fell screaming from the web line.
Little Peter then landed heavily. After getting up, he roared towards the sky.
Roar!
"Something's wrong... What is going on?"
Gwen looked down at the monster in the plaza below—covered in Bristles, with six red eyes on its head, and six Talons flailing at its sides—and felt her scalp tingle.
"Wasn't Little Peter supposed to try Awakening his powers today?"
"According to Lyon Stark, our powers come from the Spider Totem; being bitten is just a formality."
"How did Little Peter turn into some kind of Lab Monster?"
Gwen subconsciously pulled out her Time Tablet and sent a Distress Signal to Jarvis.
Now all the Spider-Men are TVA employees, having joined the establishment, and no longer live the days of fighting alone.
Jarvis replied to Gwen's message almost instantly.
It said there was a suitable employee available and would immediately send them for support.
And it complained, "This seems to be a well-known fact: when Spider-Men stop working and become idle, they find time to cause trouble."
"Young Miss Stacy, please inform the other Spider-Men after the incident that their vacation has been canceled."
Gwen widened her eyes: "Wait, what? Vacation canceled?"
Her voice was loud.
So loud that all the Spider-Men currently besieging the Spider Monster in the plaza turned around and looked at her in horror.
"What did you just say!?" they shouted.
"Roar!"
The Spider Monster roared, interrupting their panic.
"Shit, Little Peter, do you know you've caused huge trouble now!" Middle-aged Spider-Manshrieked while dodging an attack.
Punk Spider-Man shot webs while saying, "I knew it! We should have used my Six-Eyed Sand Spider. Things are going badly now."
"Damn it, can you stop mentioning that cursed spider? My vacation, my vacation ahhh!"
Spider-Ham grabbed his Mjolnir, jumped up, and pounded the Spider Monster's head repeatedly.
The Spider Monster Little Peter had turned into was very powerful, with Combat Powerpotentially reaching hundreds of tons.
But unfortunately, he was born at the wrong time.
Facing the Spider-Men present, whose numbers were in the tens of thousands.
Even if the Spider Monster was strong, a single fist couldn't fight off countless webs.
Finally, it was humiliatingly glued to the ground by balls of web.
"Oh, poor Little Peter." Gwen squatted on the wall, shaking her head regretfully.
It was all the fault of these bastards for ending her rare vacation early.
Little Peter had turned into a monster; why couldn't he have been a little stronger and inflicted mutual destruction on these guys?
She checked the time on her Watch: "Aren't the Support Personnel coming yet?"
"No, I've been here for a while." A pleasant voice sounded nearby.
Gwen looked over and saw Galan, a Long-haired Girl in a Purple Battlesuit.
Galan floated in the air, hands on her hips, and said, "Jarvis said there was good food here, so I came."
"But, I don't seem to see anything edible." She cupped her hand over her brow and looked around.
Gwen shrugged and pointed at the Spider Monster inside the Silk Cocoon.
"The Delicacy Jarvis mentioned must be that."
Galan often helped the TVA on Field Missions, so she was familiar with many Spider-Men, including Gwen.
"Hmm? That little guy? Can I eat it?"
"Emmm... You can eat it, but only a little. He's Little Peter from Lyon Stark's Universe."
"Oh... so I can only eat this little bit."
Galan was a bit disappointed, her shoulders slumping slightly.
"Forget it, a portion is fine too."
Galan flew above the Spider Monster, and the Spider-Men greeted her and made way.
A Purple Tube extended from behind her and plunged straight into the Spider Monster's chest.
Soon, streams of Energy were drawn along the tube toward Galan.
Half a minute later, the Spider Monster reverted back into the raggedly dressed Little Peter. The contaminated part of his Genes had been restored.
Galan retracted the Straw and pouted in dissatisfaction.
"The taste isn't great, and there's too little of it."
She casually opened a Teleportation Portal and waved at Gwen, "I'm leaving now. I still need to find Lyon Stark to save Dad."
"Huh?" Gwen, who had been waving with a slumped head.
Her eyes lit up when she heard Galan's words.
"You're going to find Lyon Stark? Has he come out of the Divine Kingdom Nexus? Wait for me, I'll go with you!"
Gwen swung on a web line, chasing after Galan.
Lyon Stark had been staying in the space at the Divine Kingdom Center, isolated from the outside world, and she hadn't seen him in a long time.
Before entering the Space Portal.
Gwen didn't forget to shout to the other Spider-Men, "Everyone, don't forget to go to the TVA! Your vacation is over!"
Everyone remaining in Spider Town immediately sighed and groaned.
"Why isn't she sad at all?" Someone questioned amidst the lamentations.
Gwen's tone when she left was too cheerful.
"Who knows? Gwen Stacy is a workaholic in many Universes, maybe she is too."
