Chapter 32: The Scientist Who Came Knocking, Mr. Fantastic's Daughter Valeria
"This guy's level of asking for a beating is on par with Wade's."
Gambit shrugged indifferently, complaining to Laura and Erica beside him.
The words, neither too loud nor too soft, just happened to reach the Human Torch's ears.
Johnny's face instantly flushed, flames leaping onto his cheeks:
"What did you say? Dare to repeat that! Fuck you..."
Hit where it hurt, his temper flared. Without a second thought, he flung a blast of fire at Gambit.
But as the flames flew halfway, a cold glint flashed in Emma Frost's eyes.
An invisible psychic force instantly locked down the Human Torch's entire body. Johnny stiffened, the flames freezing mid-air, his whole person nailed in place, unable to move.
"Such a dirty mouth needs a good cooling off."
A smirk lifted the corner of Gambit's mouth as a card spun on his fingertip. He was just about to teach this arrogant kid a lesson.
Right at that moment—
The girl Valeria stepped forward, pressing a small silver device on her wrist.
*Bzzzt—!*
A layer of pale blue energy barrier abruptly expanded, enveloping her, Gamora, and the immobilized Human Torch together.
Dense ripples shimmered across the barrier's inner surface as a peculiar force field diffused outwards.
Old Loki raised an eyebrow slightly.
Emma frowned slightly, a ripple in her heart:
Her Telepathy... had been severed by the barrier!
Valeria looked up, her tone cool yet carrying a hint of sharpness:
"This is the Land of Nihility. Cassandra is also a psychic. It's impossible we wouldn't have taken precautions.
This force barrier will neutralize all external mental intrusions."
She looked at the group, her tone calm:
"We mean no harm. We only heard Cassandra died and came to confirm the situation. I apologize on behalf of this hot-headed firebrain."
"Valeria! Why are you siding with outsiders? I'm your uncle! Have you lost your mind?"
Johnny shot an unhappy look at this daughter of his sister from a parallel Universe.
Valeria glanced at him expressionlessly, her words clear, logical, and utterly merciless:
"First, you're just a variant from a parallel Universe, not my uncle.
"Second, if you keep shouting, I'll seal your powers. You wouldn't want the Human Torch to be unable to produce fire, would you?"
Hearing this threat, the Human Torch Johnny could only raise his hands helplessly and pout, "Alright, alright, you win. So young and already acting like an adult, can't appreciate any fun at all."
"I'm sixteen. According to the laws of my Earth, I'm already considered an adult. Unlike you, in your thirties and still acting like a child."
Valeria verbally eviscerated her parallel Universe biological uncle with sharp words, completely unconcerned about who else was present.
Johnny, being put down so thoroughly by a girl so much younger than him—and his own sister's child at that—in front of so many people...
His pride couldn't take it. He snorted coldly, "Whatever, I won't stoop to a kid's level."
"So, now that you've confirmed the situation, what do you plan to do, little one?"
Ophelia, seeing such a mature young girl, also grew interested.
"I propose we join you. You provide protection for me, and I'll be responsible for upgrading your defensive measures, communication equipment, and other technological products."
Valeria tapped the device on her hand, retracting the pale blue force barrier, indicating she meant no harm and was only seeking temporary shelter.
"Agreed. On Thor's behalf, I accept your joining. In exchange, I need you to help me develop my abilities."
Emma, having observed for a while and confirmed this girl was likely the exact kind of genius scientist she currently needed most, decisively agreed on Thor's behalf.
"Develop abilities?" Valeria felt the woman opposite looked somewhat familiar. She tapped the personal terminal on her right wrist.
One virtual image after another of superheroes and supervillains appeared in sequence. Finally, her gaze locked firmly on one name: the White Queen, Emma Frost.
"Do you want me to help you enhance your Omega-level psychic abilities, or your abilities in diamond form?"
"Both."
"Alright. Then I'll likely need to take a small blood sample from you, and it will require some time and equipment. The research instruments I carried with me were damaged on the way here and are unusable."
Remy LeBeau, seeing himself among that pile of virtual images, quickly spoke up, "Were you also dumped here by the Time Variance Authority? And does your Universe also have X-Men and Mutants?"
"I wasn't thrown in by the TVA. Recently, I was bored and observed the Multiverse, capturing a fleeting unknown dimensional coordinate. I intended to come collect some samples, but during the journey, my research equipment was damaged, and I got trapped here."
Valeria stated the reason for her arrival with a flat expression.
"Wait! You came here on your own?!"
Old Loki also couldn't remain calm. This girl wasn't lying, which meant she truly possessed such capability.
That was somewhat terrifying. Even with his current power, he couldn't claim to easily open a portal between the Land of Nihility and any random Universe.
And this 16-year-old girl before him had done it so effortlessly?
"Yes? Weren't all of you?"
Valeria looked at the assembled group with a puzzled expression.
Silence was the melody of tonight.
The people present didn't know how to respond. According to her, coming to the Land of Nihility from her Universewas merely 'a bit troublesome,' not 'impossible.'
So what did it make them, who were tossed in by the TVA, the Time Variance Authority?
A joke?
Valeria observed everyone's reactions, growing even more confused.
"Don't you know my brother Franklin is an Omega-level Mutant?"
"Emma is also an Omega-level Mutant, and she was thrown in by the Time Variance Authority." Betsyruthlessly sold out Emma, completely ignoring the threats echoing in her mind from Emma.
"Huh? Shouldn't Omega-level Mutants be able to casually create pocket dimensions, pocket Universes? Can't you do that?"
Valeria was genuinely shocked. She always thought what her brother could do was the normal power level for an Omega-level Mutant. But judging by the reactions here, that didn't seem to be the case?
Could you listen to what you're saying?
Casually create pocket dimensions, pocket Universes? You call *that* an Omega Mutant? Then what does that make Emma? What does that make those Omega-level Mutants like Phoenix?
Hearing this concept, Old Loki also couldn't hold back. He had to fight tooth and nail to create a complete Asgard, and this girl was saying her brother could casually create a pocket Universe?
Odin wasn't that outrageous, was he?
Whose child was this?
Her family was simply too extravagant!
Chapter 33: WTF! A Walking Nuclear Weapon!
"Strange... shouldn't Omega-level Mutants be roughly the same in strength? Why are you so much weaker than my brother?"
Valeria adjusted the personal terminal on her hand, carefully checking the information on the White Queen, Emma Frost. This was a small database her father, Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards, had made for her.
It was convenient for when she was out; if she encountered danger, she could promptly seek help from nearby personnel and identify exactly who they were and what abilities they had.
Emma didn't speak, but her face flushed with heat. Sensing the other's mental and emotional fluctuations, she confirmed the girl truly didn't know and was simply curious: why was the gap between Omega-level Mutants so large?
She silently made a note of this in her heart, not retorting to the little girl on the spot—and it definitely wasn't because her brother could casually create Universes.
"Alright, Ms. Emma, I apologize to you. I usually rarely go out; I'm basically always in Franklin's lab or doing research in the Universes and dimensions he created. I really didn't know the gap between Omega-level Mutants was this big."
Valeria's apology was very sincere.
However, to Emma, this apology seemed more like an unconscious boast.
"It's fine. I, Emma Frost, am not such a petty person."
"First, tell me what instruments you need. I'll see about sending someone to look for them in the Land of Nihility."
Valeria's fingertips tapped quickly on the personal terminal, listing a string of materials. Her tone was as flat as if she were listing a grocery list:
"It's simple. I need three types of things.
First, high-purity energy cores. Whether it's a starship reactor, Kree technology batteries, Skrull energy cubes, or even energy fragments from Celestial remains, as long as the storage capacity is high enough.
Second, neuro-conductive alloys and bio-compatible chips, used to analyze your mutant genes and build a psychic amplification circuit.
Third, space-time substrates left over from the Multiverse. The Land of Nihility is full of time fragments discarded by the TVA; just pick up a few stable ones."
She paused and added a sentence:
"They don't need to be precise. I'll be tearing them all down and rebuilding them anyway.
The trash here is trash to others, but to me, piece them together and it's a top-tier lab."
Hearing this, Emma glanced at the nearby Hydra Squad.
Captain Hydra Steve was not surprised that this mission was assigned to them. After all, they had actively begged to join. For small errands like running around to find things, it was a no-brainer that it would be given to them.
"Oh, right, this is the approximate appearance of these items. Take a look. They don't need to be identical, just close enough—though identical is best."
Valeria reached out again and tapped on her personal terminal. Soon, she projected the images of the three different items she needed.
"Alright, I've got it. Bucky, Ophelia, let's go!"
The three quickly checked their equipment and, led by Captain Hydra Steve Rogers, headed off into the distance.
"So, which one of you finished off Cassandra?"
Gamora, who had been acting as a transparent person on the side, spoke up.
"It was Thor Odinson."
Blade Warrior Eric was not only cold, but also a man of few words.
"Thor Odinson? Let me see."
Valeria swiped back and forth through a pile of supervillains and superheroes again, finding both Cassandra and Thor Odinson. She finished reading the introductions and power distributions of the two from her Universe.
"This Cassandra is also an Omega-level Mutant. Her abilities are Telepathy, mental manipulation, telekinesis, cognitive pollution, and genetic restructuring. She is essentially a psychic entity. She was once defeated by Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and others..."
"Thor Odinson, the second prince of Asgard, one of the only two primary powerhouses of the Avengers. He possesses normal Odin-level divine power. His primary weapon is the hammer mjolnir. The authorities he controls are thunder and Storms. Every time he appears, he inevitably changes the local weather. He has defeated Surtur, the Goddess of Death Hela, Galactus, and the Dark Phoenix avatar..."
"Long-term partner Sif, the love of his life Jane Foster, and long-term entanglement with the Enchantress Amora..."
Before Valeria could finish reading, Emma walked over and began checking all the information on Thor Odinson.
Seeing this, Betsy also leaned in. The others were curious as well; after all, they were interested in the life experiences of this legendary God of Thunder.
"This girl is practically a walking information bank."
Eric commented coldly.
"Yeah, I just saw myself too. It feels like we have no secrets in front of her."
Erica nodded in agreement.
After a quick browse, Emma returned to her spot.
No wonder that Thor Odinson knew her so well before. Looking at it now, there's an eighty percent chance that she existed in his Universe as well.
But now the information was equalized. She also knew a lot of information belonging to Thor Odinson. Once Valeriaresearched how to help her enhance her abilities, it would be time for her to avenge her humiliation!
Achoo—!
Thor suddenly sneezed. He opened his eyes, looked around, and muttered, "Which fellow is talking behind my back again? Don't let me catch you, or you'll be in for some serious suffering!"
After saying that, he continued to absorb and comprehend the Infinity Stones.
"So how should we address you? You haven't introduced yourself yet. And if your brother is so powerful, can't he just find you, take you back, and take us out of this hellhole while he's at it?"
Gambit Remy poked his head out and looked at the girl who only reached his chest.
"That's true, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Valeria Richards. My dad is Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards. My mom is the Invisible Woman, Susan Stone Richards. My brother is that Omega-level Mutant, Franklin Richards."
"Franklin is powerful, but he can't find me without my coordinates. And actually, I snuck out. Dad, Mom, and Franklin always refuse to let me out, saying the Multiverseis dangerous, but I don't feel like it's dangerous at all!"
Valeria counted on her fingers, introducing herself while complaining about how strictly her family managed her. Having finally found a chance to escape, she definitely had to stay for a while.
The people present looked at each other. Do you even hear yourself?
With such a powerful brother in your family, it would be a miracle if you *could* feel danger, okay?
If someone even entertained the thought of dealing with you, your brother would probably follow the clues and turn them to ash!
Young Loki also didn't know what to say. He often prided himself as a god and constantly talked about killing Thor. He had thought he was already impressive enough.
He hadn't expected someone even more impressive, casually creating pocket Universes and pocket dimensions. He seriously doubted if their Asgard, or the gods of these pantheons, could even be called true gods.
This Franklin, in a certain sense, was perhaps a god in the truest sense of the word!
Chapter 34: Old Loki's Little Classroom is Now in Session!
Seven days passed in the blink of an eye, and the Hydra Squad found the items Valeria needed. Everyone witnessed firsthand what is meant by wisdom that transcends the era.
This young girl with a terrifying family background took some scraps that looked like junk and, after some tinkering, turned them into one sophisticated instrument after another, even building a small modern city within those seven days.
At this moment, everyone thoroughly felt the sensation of being crushed by pure IQ.
In a modern classroom, Old Loki had swapped his former green and gold cloak for a dark brown suit. Holding a thermos, he stood on the podium, using magic to teach everyone about common knowledge of the Multiverse.
"First, I must introduce a concept to you: the existence of aliens is inevitable in every Universe. For instance, Little Treant Groot belongs to the Flora Colossus race; he is the last survivor of his kind."
"Besides that, more famous ones include the Skrulls, the Kree, the Shi'ar, and so on."
As Old Loki introduced them, he used magic to manifest the appearances of the corresponding races.
"In the Universe, things aren't much different from your Earth. Various races often engage in wars and turmoil over resources. The number of deaths in each war is beyond count, as is the number of destroyed Planets."
"Additionally, there are some powerful individuals, such as the Celestials, Dimensional Demon Gods, and the Five Great Deities. I won't disclose specific names, as these beings can accurately lock onto you just by you mentioning their names."
"Then there are the Infinity Stones you want to know about. Hundreds of millions of years ago, the Big Bang occurred, giving birth to six stones possessing different laws: Time, Space, Mind, Soul, Power, and Reality."
"Each stone contains a complete source of the laws corresponding to that Universe. Therefore, someone who masters the power of a stone can easily take on an interstellar fleet single-handedly."
"For a normal being to fully exert the power of the stones, they not only need the corresponding physical constitution and energy supply but also a vessel to channel the power of the Infinity Stones."
"Countless people in the Universe seek this power, most notably the cosmic overlord, Thanos."
A magical projection of a tall, burly purple giant appeared in the classroom. He wore golden armor, held a double-edged blade as tall as himself in his left hand, and wore a golden glove on his right hand set with the six Infinity Stones.
"I am Groot—!"
(Thanos! I will make you pay the price!)
Seeing this familiar figure, Little Groot was filled with rage. Standing on a desk, his two tiny arms transformed into weapons of different forms, wishing he could fight Thanosfor three hundred rounds right then and there!
The others listening could probably guess that this little guy definitely had a grudge against Thanos, though that fierce expression on his current cute body didn't have the slightest bit of lethality.
Emma and Betsy were both Mutants specializing in mental power. Even if they couldn't understand what the little guy was saying, they could understand indirectly by perceiving his mind.
It was also through the little guy's memories that they saw the fellow named Thanos fighting Groot's former squad.
Groot's squad hadn't even caught Thanos's attention before they were nearly wiped out by his subordinates. Just as Thanos used the Power Stone to deliver a fatal blow, Groot rushed out, using his weak body to resist the cosmic laws.
He bought a moment for his teammates to escape, while Groot's two-meter-tall body was rapidly destroyed and annihilated, leaving only a thumb-sized remnant.
The configuration of Thanos's five subordinates was quite comprehensive: melee tanks, ranged mages, and melee assassins.
The cooperation of these five was extremely seamless. Groot's former team, the Guardians of the Galaxy, didn't even last ten minutes against them.
"Emma, I always thought my Earth was considered dangerous, but looking at it now, it's actually so insignificant."
Betsy said to Emma beside her.
Emma didn't speak. She was considered a powerhouse on her Universe's Earth, but in the Universe, she might not even rank.
Having seen a larger World, Emma now desperately needed more powerful strength.
No one is truly reliable; only becoming powerful oneself is the only truth.
Only power can bring greater authority. She, Emma Frost, would only be a ruler, and she would only be her own Empress!
Inside a high-tech research lab, Valeria had been busy for seven days and finally hand-crafted the Mutant gene enhancement serum that Emma needed.
After completing the task, during a rare moment of relaxation, she glanced at her wristwatch—her personal terminal. Then, as if thinking of something exciting, she took out an instrument and headed toward the wooden cabin where Thor was in seclusion.
"Thunder God Thor, who can move through space and control time, is an excellent research subject. Is it caused by the special molecular structure of the Land of Nihility? Or is the gene of his Aesir race different?"
Like many mad scientists, Valeria possessed a very fervent passion for research when facing the unknown.
This Thunder God Thor, who defeated Cassandra, was clearly a great subject.
She used her ability to warp force fields to turn herself invisible, quietly approaching the wooden cabin where Thunder God Thor was in seclusion, and scanned it from top to bottom with her detection equipment.
Valeria tapped the portable multi-dimensional analyzerwith her fingertip. A pale blue energy field silently swept through the cabin, and the screen instantly filled with dense parameters and genetic maps.
She narrowed her eyes slightly, her tone calm to the point of being indifferent, as if observing a perfect experimental specimen:
"The gene chain of the Aesir race is indeed highly stable. The telomere decay rate is far lower than the norm for carbon-based organisms, with a theoretical lifespan in units of ten thousand years... but that's not the point."
"The energy signals for spatial jumping and temporal interference are exceptionally strong. It's not purely dependent on the Power of Thor or mjolnir; it's more like a directional anchor has been created between the genetic level and cosmic rules."
"The special particles of the Land of Nihility did indeed act as a catalyst, but the core trigger is the deep integration of his race's divine genes with the energy of the laws—this is no longer a'superpower,' but a rule-level physiological structure."
"Ordinary gods control power; he... is rewriting his own form of existence."
"If I can extract a complete gene expression sample, I could even reverse-engineer a set of controllable space-time stability formulas. The reference value for the physical model of the Multiverse would be immeasurable."
She put away the instrument, her lips curling into a faint, purely scientific fanaticism:
"Truly a research subject so perfect it's exciting."
Chapter 35: Holy Crap, Targeted by a Creepy Little Girl the Moment I Stepped Out
Creak...
Thor had been in seclusion for seven full days, completely mastering the Law of Time, the Law of Reality, and the usage of the Sling Ring.
He was in a great mood, but as soon as he pushed open the door and saw the scene outside, he was genuinely dazed.
?!!
Where on earth was he?
Was this still the Land of Nihility?
He had only been in seclusion for seven days, not a century. Why was the outside now filled with modern buildings?
And what the hell was that hundred-meter-tall skyscraper?
Whose subordinate was this? To be so valiant!
The infrastructure speed had already caught up with the China from his past life's memories, and might even surpass it.
Also, why had Old Loki become a teacher?
Why are you all behaving as obediently as students?
What exactly happened during the seven days he was away?
Could it be they found a mad scientist?
Hmm?
Someone was peeping at him nearby?
Thor's gaze quickly locked onto the spot where Valeria was invisible, and he immediately shouted, "Who's there? Come out now! Unless you want to turn into a charcoal-grilled twist."
Zzzzt...
Violent electric currents flowed across his body, ready to strike at any moment.
Buzz—!
A strange hum sounded as Valeria canceled her invisibility. Holding a device in both hands, she jogged up to Thor, her golden hair swaying as an exquisite little face appeared before him.
"Thor, can you let me give you an injection?"
?????!
Thor never thought that one day he would be cornered at his door by a creepy little girl whose first words would be such shocking nonsense.
Wait, what?
What's the situation?
He just went to absorb and comprehend some stones. Not only did everything change when he came out, but there was also a creepy little girl hiding invisibly next to his seclusion cabin, doing who knows what.
The Marvel Universe is just too crazy!
And looking at this little girl's appearance, she wasn't just exquisite; she was clearly beginning to blossom like a flower bud.
It could be clearly inferred that her mother was definitely a beauty. To be so stunning at such a young age, what would she be like when she grew up?
However, the way she looked at him was all wrong—exactly like a mad scientist looking at a special lab rat.
"Who are you? What are you doing sneaking around my place?"
Thor took a few steps back warily. This was the first time he found a pretty little girl to be eerie. Who could understand this feeling?
"Oh? That's right. Elizabeth said you were going to absorb and comprehend the Infinity Stones. I arrived just after you went into seclusion. Let me introduce myself: I am Valeria Richards. Thor, can I give you an injection now?"
Valeria's eyes were practically glowing as she looked at Thor. This was truly a perfect research subject!
Valeria Richards?!!
Upon hearing this, Thor instantly leaped back into the house. Only after confirming he was a safe distance from the creepy girl did he speak. With just one sentence, he easily made her expression change.
"Holy shit! You're the daughter of the Marvel Universe's greatest shit-stirrer, Mr. Fantastic, Charlatan Reed?!!"
"How did you get in? You weren't thrown in here by that shit-stirrer trying to cause trouble again, were you?"
The fanatical smile on Valeria's face instantly froze.
"Shit-stirrer? Charlatan Reed?"
She blinked, appearing to take three seconds to digest those two terms before her little face slumped and the corner of her mouth twitched.
"My dad might be a bit... self-righteous sometimes, but he hasn't reached the point where you should describe him like that, right?"
Thor hid behind the doorframe, peeking out with only half his head, as wary as a startled Golden Retriever.
"You haven't answered my question! How did you get in? Is your dad on some big'Save the Multiverse' plan again and ended up losing you?"
Valeria took a deep breath and looked at him with an "Are you misunderstanding my dad?" expression.
"First, I observed the coordinates of the Land of Nihilitymyself and opened a door to get in."
"Second, my dad has no idea I'm here."
"Third..."
She paused, her tone carrying a hint of pride mixed with a bit of disdain:
"My dad is Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards, not 'Charlatan Reed.' Although he does often create... things beyond expectations, it has nothing to do with him this time. I simply ran out to play on my own."
"Ran out to play on your own?" Thor half-emerged from behind the door, still skeptical. "Do you know what kind of place this is? This is the Land of Nihility, the scrapyard of the Multiverse. You came here to play? Do your parents know?"
"They do," Valeria said matter-of-factly. "My brother knows."
"Your brother?"
"Franklin." She blinked. "He said as long as I don't provoke those Dimensional Demon Gods, I can play however I want. Anyway, no matter where I am, he can find me."
Holy crap! Isn't that the famous Omega-level Mutant from the comics, Franklin?"
The freak who could hand-craft a pocket dimension at the age of three?!
What kind of dumb luck did he have to run into Valeria Richards, the second child of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman?
This freak... no, this little girl was not only a super genius and scientist no less than her father, but most importantly, she had the support of a Multiverse-level powerhouse!
To think that after the God of Stories, Loki, he could latch onto another powerhouse's leg!
Does Heaven-Defying Comprehension also boost luck?
"Alright, I see. Miss Valeria, why have you come to find me?"
Thor immediately performed a Sichuan Opera Face-Changing for the girl, switching from extreme fear to extreme warmth.
For a moment, his enthusiasm was so intense that even Valeria felt a bit uncomfortable.
"...You know Franklin?"
"I of course know him. I also know who you are and what kind of mess your father has made in the past, but none of that is what we're discussing now."
Thor placed both hands heavily on Valeria's shoulders, speaking with great warmth and a hint of doting.
"But since you've come here and joined my team, I will unconditionally provide whatever you want."
Thor bragged grandly.
Didn't she like doing research? No matter what people or equipment she needed, he would surely satisfy her. It might be hard to earn Franklin's favor, but winning over a mad scientist research-maniac like her would be a piece of cake.
"Then can you catch a Dimensional Demon God for me to study?"
"Uh... well..." Thor awkwardly scratched the floor with his foot.
"Tch, if you can't do it, why talk so big? A man's words are as deceptive as a ghost." Valeria curled her lip in disdain.
"You know, I'm still in my growth phase. Once I've grown up, I'll catch a Dimensional Demon God for you to study whenever I feel like it."
Valeria didn't believe Thor's empty promises at all. Instead, she pulled out a small syringe and spoke in an unquestionable tone, "Give me your hand. Why are you looking at me like that? Didn't you say you'd satisfy all my requests?"
"Since you can't catch a Dimensional Demon God for me to study, it's not too much to ask for some of your blood, is it?"
Chapter 36: Betsy, Welcome to Your Rebirth
Thor watched Valeria leave in high spirits, a vein throbbing on his forehead. This little brat was simply too disrespectful, acting so arrogantly just because her brother was Franklin!
Dammit!
But for the sake of clinging to a powerful backer, contributing just one tube of blood was no big deal.
Once he made plenty of friends and reduced his enemies to a minimum, who in the entire Marvel Universe could still threaten him?
As expected of me, I'm simply a genius among geniuses!
"Thor, you wouldn't be that perverted, would you? You won't even let a little girl off the hook?"
Betsy appeared out of nowhere like a ghost.
Thor had grown accustomed to this fellow's way of appearing. After rolling his eyes, he said, "Fine then, Betsy! Is it that in your eyes, I won't let any female off the hook as long as they're a woman?"
"Hmm... pretty much."
Betsy thought for a moment and nodded her head.
Flick!
Thor mercilessly extended a finger and flicked her forehead.
"You're looking at people through tinted glasses, Betsy. I couldn't possibly have designs on an underage girl; that would be too damn beastly! I'm not that stallion Zeus from Olympus! He won't let any creature go as long as they have a hole!"
"So Zeus is really as messy as the myths say?" Betsyrubbed her flicked forehead and looked at Thor with curiosity.
"Of course, it's even worse than that. Not only did he have no standards, but he also loved hosting group parties. In short, the descriptions in norse mythology might not be entirely accurate, but the description of Olympus definitely is, especially regarding Zeus."
"By the way, how did you guys run into this person?"
"Do you mean Valeria?"
"Yes."
"She came over with a green woman in armor and a man whose whole body was on fire. I think they were called Gamora and Johnny."
"So it's the Human Torch and Thanos's adopted daughter. No need to worry about those two; just focus on satisfying Valeria's requests. She's a top-tier scientist, and unlike her father, she doesn't enjoy causing trouble."
"Is Valeria's father's reputation that bad? Why do you seem so afraid when you mention him?"
Betsy was a bit confused. He was just a scientist; what kind of big mess could he cause?
"Betsy, it's not even a matter of reputation anymore. Anyway, just remember that if you see a rubber man in a blue suit, don't interact with him and leave immediately."
"Basically, as soon as he starts doing research, something is bound to go wrong. Things like the Zombie Crisis or the Multiverse Crisis were mostly caused by him alone."
"Zombies? Thor, are you talking about the walking dead like in the movies?"
Betsy felt the name was somewhat familiar, as if it were a concept introduced in some movies.
"Exactly like the zombies in movies, the kind that spreads through biting."
"Then it seems Valeria's father really is a shit-stirrer."
Betsy quickly reached a conclusion, then stared straight at Thor, flipping her long hair over her shoulder.
"Thor, did you forget something?"
Thor looked at Betsy's movements and realized.
"Oh, you're talking about reshaping your body, right? Come in. I can satisfy whatever kind of body you want."
Thor stepped aside, gesturing for Betsy to enter.
Betsy didn't hesitate and walked straight into the wooden cabin.
Thud!
Thor then closed the door and turned to look at Betsy. "Betsy, next I need you to open your mind and recall your former body in your head. It's best to remember every detail clearly so it's easier for me to use the Laws to reshape it for you."
"Every detail? And clearly? Thor, are you sure it's not just because you want to see?" Betsy tilted her head and looked at Thor.
"There's no other way. I haven't seen what you originally looked like. Or you could describe it verbally, but that would just be much slower."
Thor shrugged helplessly, looking as if he didn't mind either way.
"So we're doing this in this crude wooden cabin?"
Betsy looked around the cabin's environment. Not only was there no furniture, but the floor was even a bit rough, and there were some tender sprouts on the walls.
"Fine, what style of interior do you want?"
Thor snapped his fingers, and the Law of Reality began to operate under the drive of his divine power.
The environment inside the room began to change constantly. Modern decor, cyberpunk, and medieval noble styles flashed by one by one.
Thor was still switching scenes when he was stopped by a slap from Betsy.
"Stop! Stop flickering, I'm getting dizzy."
She crossed her arms, scanned the flashy decorations, and let out a scoff.
"Medieval noble, cyberpunk... they look like a hassle. Cleaning them would be a pain."
Thor raised an eyebrow. "Then what kind do you want?"
Betsy walked to the wall, tapped the log texture with her fingertip, and gave a mischievous smile.
"Keep it simple. Log style, warm and cozy. Just put in a soft sofa and a low table—enough to lie down or sit on."
Pausing, she deliberately leaned closer and added in a low voice:
"Most importantly—there has to be a big enough bed, just in case something happens while reshaping the body. That way, you can catch me easily, so you don't say I'm taking advantage of you."
After saying that, she was the first to laugh, clearly just teasing Thor.
"Alright, as you wish."
The style of the room instantly switched to pure log style. A low Pearwood coffee table sat in the center, flanked by several brown leather sofas. On the far right was a large bed, a full four meters long and three and a half meters wide.
A few oil paintings now hung on the previously empty walls. Two pots of blooming Purple Butterfly Orchids hung by the window, next to a neat log bookshelf with an array of books and some handmade wooden sculptures.
"Looks pretty good." Betsy sat directly on the sofa. "At least these two pots of flowers are quite to my taste."
"Of course. I think these flowers are quite like you. Shall we start now?"
Hearing this, Betsy chuckled. Looking at the tall Thor in front of her, she slowly uttered one word.
"Okay."
She closed her eyes, completely letting down her guard, and began to recall every detail of her original body in her mind.
Thor began to mobilize the power of the Laws he possessed. The Law of Creation, Law of Soul, Law of Reality, Law of Life, and Law of Time all gathered in his palm.
Then, using Telepathy to connect to Betsy's mind, he grasped all the details of this body. The power of the Laws in his hands began to condense.
Under the acceleration of the Law of Time, a human silhouette soon slowly appeared before his eyes.
Tsk, tsk, tsk...
In my past life, I only ever tried Character Modeling in games. I didn't expect to be able to do full-body modeling in Marvel. It's quite a novel experience.
"Hmm... this part can be a bit brighter, the hair smoother, the skin silkier. The facial structure should follow the standard golden ratio, the features more three-dimensional. A bit bigger here, a bit smaller here, a bit perkier there..."
Since it was Thor's first time doing full-body modeling, he naturally wanted to do his best. He kept making adjustments, not even realizing when Betsy had moved behind him.
Betsy watched Thor having the time of his life, and her mouth couldn't help but twitch.
"Thor, and you still claim you're not lecherous."
However, she hadn't expected this guy to be so diligent in creating a body for her. A warmth rose in Betsy's heart, and the corners of her mouth curled up unconsciously.
"Alright, Betsy, are there any abilities you want? Hmm... let me think. I'll set your Telepathy and mental strength to Omega Level. Psionic power can't fall behind either. As for strength, let's go with three hundred tons, and add teleportation..."
"Huh? Woah! I can actually add self-healing for you? Why can't I add it for myself? Whatever, forget it. I'll add a sliver of the Law of Annihilation to enchant your psionic power. Perfect!"
Thor looked over his masterpiece with great satisfaction. When he looked toward the sofa, he realized Betsy was no longer there.
"Betsy, why did you run behind me?"
Thor turned back to look at Betsy, only to find her body standing there like a statue, motionless.
She was so impatient to get in?
Before Thor could even turn around, a soft sensation came from his back. Betsy hugged Thor tightly from behind, her cheek pressed against his ear. She whispered a sentence with charm and provocation, her warm breath stirring Thor's heartstrings:
"Thor, I said it before. Once the transaction is complete, I am yours."
Chapter 37: The Perverted Little Girl is Really Perverted
The sun was high in the sky.
After a simple wash-up, Thor waved his hand and conjured a dining table, followed immediately by a variety of delicious foods appearing out of thin air on the table.
Smack!
Betsy, wearing a loose silk robe, walked toward the dining table. As she passed Thor, she couldn't resist teasing him, giving his backside a sharp slap with her hand.
"Hey, Betsy, are you trying to start round two?"
Thor hadn't expected this girl to dare tease him right after waking up. She really needed to be taught a lesson; it seemed yesterday's education wasn't thorough enough.
"Thor, you were so rough yesterday. I think I need a few days to recover. Maybe you should go find Emma. After all, diamond is more durable than the human body, isn't it?"
Betsy grabbed a hamburger and a fried dough stick from the table and started eating heartily, completely disregarding any semblance of manners. Her exposed long legs were a cool, pale white, faintly reflecting the light from the room's lamps.
She was extremely satisfied with this body. Not only was it identical to her original one, but it also came with many powerful new abilities.
Judging by her current physical configuration, Emma Frostwould absolutely not be her match. The thought of being able to bully Emma freely in the future made Betsy chuckle involuntarily.
"Hehehe..."
Thor ignored someone's perverted laughter and instead pondered a question very seriously. Emma could turn her entire body into diamond; in a sense, that indeed made her more durable.
But just thinking that way felt a bit weird... He wasn't *that* perverted, was he...
Thor finished his breakfast quickly. After all, the Land of Nihility had no concept of night. So, theoretically, whenever you woke up from sleep, it was always morning.
He pushed open the door of their cozy little cabin, stretched thoroughly, and planned to take a good look around this modern little city that Valeria had basically handcrafted online.
However, when Thor began to carefully observe his surroundings, he realized something was off again.
In just one day, why were there several more hundred-meter-tall buildings?
And also?
Next to that building that looked suspiciously like the presidential White House, why was there a giant, life-sized statue of Emma Frost?
What are you two trying to do?
Build it big and strong, and then conquer the Multiverse?
It seemed Valeria wasn't just a perverted mad scientist; she was also a perverted little girl.
A complete infrastructure maniac!
Thor looked speechlessly at everything around him. He noticed that only the area around his little log cabin had relatively complete greenery. Everywhere else was basically standard modern architecture, even leaning a bit towards a futuristic style.
"Hey! Thor! I bet you and Betsy had a wonderful night yesterday!"
Vroom!
The roar of an engine suddenly rang out. Remy LeBeauwas racing on a maglev motorcycle against Johnny, the Human Torch, and couldn't resist teasing Thor when he saw him.
"Hey! You poker-faced idiot who got his brain licked by Cassandra! This is a fucking race, not a battle royale!"
Johnny, the Human Torch, was annoyed by the playing cards flying his way from time to time. With a wave of his hand, a tongue of flame shot out, striking the energy-infused cards.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of firework-like explosions sounded as the figures of the two gradually disappeared, leaving a bewildered Thor behind.
Is this really still the Land of Nihility?
Did I come to the wrong place?
There were even some unfamiliar faces on the street. It seemed Captain Carter's team had joined in as well.
Thor walked towards the White House direction, observing the various... variants on the road.
No wonder Valeria was constantly under house arrest by her brother and parents. He could already imagine the Land of Nihility being utterly transformed beyond recognition by her in the future.
"Thor, Emma and Valeria sent me to pick you up."
Erica piloted a crimson hoverbike, descending slowly from the sky and landing beside Thor.
"I was only gone for eight days, but it feels like a whole century has passed here! They even have fucking maglev vehicles now!"
Seeing a familiar face again, Thor couldn't help but complain for once.
"Well... those were all ideas from Remy, Johnny, and Valeria. But it seems to be working out well, doesn't it?"
Erica spread her hands and smiled at Thor.
"This place isn't the Multiverse's dumping ground anymore; it's become a sanctuary."
Thor swung his leg over the hoverbike, at a loss for words to complain further.
He had even just seen a chibi Hulk!
"Thor, hold on tight."
Seeing Thor seated behind her, Erica gripped the throttle tightly. The hoverbike instantly shot into the sky, heading straight for the White House.
...
"Emma, based on the current development level of your Mutant genes, you're at 90%. Pushing further, your body can't withstand that level of power; it would simply dissipate."
Valeria was in her private laboratory, giving Emma a full-body examination.
"Is there any other way?" Emma lay on the cold examination table, still somewhat unwilling.
Her physical strength had already surpassed a hundred tons, and her psychic power was now on par with Cassandra's.
But in her view, this was still far from enough. She couldn't even compare to the Thor from Valeria's Universe, let alone the Thor from their own.
"Hmm... It's not that there's no way. It would definitely require divine artifacts like the Infinity Stones, the Cosmic Cube, or the Heart of the Universe. The Infinity Stones are relatively easier to find. I've only heard of the other two; even Franklin has never found traces of them."
Valeria recalled, stroking her chin.
"And although your body is already quite powerful, according to my energy analysis model for the Infinity Stones, you probably wouldn't survive that level of modification."
"The High Evolutionary's technology might have something worth studying, but my database doesn't have the corresponding technical data."
Valeria shrugged, indicating that was all she could do for now. Then she turned to look at a vial of blood on the lab table and continued.
"There is one other method, though. Based on my current analysis of Thor's blood sample, he should have a way to help you solve this problem."
"What problem?"
Thor pulled open the laboratory door and strode in.
"Whoa! Thor! Don't you know how to knock before entering someone's lab?"
Valeria was clearly startled and rolled her eyes in great displeasure.
"Emma, if you want to get stronger, just come to me directly. Whatever abilities you want, I'll just enchant them onto you."
"I just finished reshaping Betsy's body yesterday. My touch is still very hot right now!"
Emma ignored Thor and looked at Valeria instead.
"Are you sure only he can help me right now?"
"According to my research, yes. But you could wait for a breakthrough in my research, or for me to find the Heart of the Universe or the Cosmic Cube."
After getting a definitive answer, Emma looked at the big oaf in front of her and spoke casually.
"Thor, you haven't fulfilled either of the two deals we made. How do you plan to compensate me?"
Chapter 38: Kings Do Not Meet, Avoid the Sharpness First
"Uh... this..."
Thor only now recalled the two deals he had with Emma: one was to cause trouble for the Time Variance Authority, and the other was to leave Cassandra with a single breath of life.
Well... Cassandra had been blasted by him until not even a speck of dust remained, so that deal should be considered completed, right?
Seeing Thor remain silent, Emma adjusted her white suit and walked up to him in her high heels.
"Thor, have you thought about how to compensate me?"
Emma reached out a finger, tilting Thor's face up as her eyes scanned him from head to toe.
"How about, like Betsy, I reshape your body and then enhance your abilities? What do you think?"
Thor thought seriously for a moment before giving his answer, reaching out to pat away Emma's teasing hand.
"Thor, you need to understand one thing: you failed to complete our deal, so this is the compensation you owe me. And the compensation must satisfy me, Emma Frost. Do you understand?"
"I don't want a replacement plan, especially one identical to Betsy's. What I need is a unique enhancement plan that belongs only to me."
Emma's right hand instantly turned to diamond, and she lightly tapped Thor's chest twice, stating her demands in a commanding tone.
"This... then should I just enhance you directly?"
Thor was momentarily at a loss. Currently, he was only capable of reshaping bodies and using the power of laws to enhance others, but he had no other methods besides that.
Where was he supposed to find a unique plan?
This tsundere Emma was truly a handful!
Emma withdrew her diamond hand, took a step back, and looked at Thor with her arms crossed.
"I don't want my body reshaped, and I don't want you to just randomly add some abilities to me."
Thor was even more confused: "Then what do you want?"
Emma didn't answer but turned to walk toward the window.
With her back to Thor, her tone was as cold as if she were speaking about someone else's business:
"Betsy's body was given by you, and her abilities were added by you."
"She is your creation."
She paused.
"I, Emma Frost, will not be anyone's copy."
Thor stood stunned; this was indeed very Emma, but this enhancement plan was going to be difficult to figure out...
Emma turned around and looked at him:
"When you find a plan truly worthy of me, come find me again."
She left.
Leaving Thor standing there alone, scratching his head.
"Valeria, did you understand exactly what kind of enhancement plan Emma wants?"
Valeria didn't even look up, her fingers sliding rapidly across the light screen, her tone carrying a genius's impatience:
"You're asking me? How should I know? I've never been in love, how would I know a woman's mind?"
She glanced at Thor with a 'Are you stupid?' expression on her face:
"Also, can you two stop flirting in my workspace? It's really affecting my work."
Thor: "...I was just asking."
Valeria didn't bother with him. She tapped the floating holographic chart, and her eyes instantly lit up:
"But speaking of which—I've just completed a round of analysis based on your blood sample and discovered a Cross-dimensional Law Absorption and Assimilation Mechanism within your body."
"This Endogenous Law Anchoring characteristic has a detection rate of zero among all observed Multiverseindividuals."
"I must establish a complete database of ability parameters for you, and follow up with dynamic perturbation experiments."
Thor looked at the little girl whose face was gradually forming the smile of a mad scientist and involuntarily took a few steps back: "...So you're going to use me as an experiment?"
Valeria said righteously: "Otherwise? You said yourself that you'd satisfy all my demands!"
Damn it, I knew I shouldn't have promised so readily.
"Can I refuse?" Thor weakly raised his hand.
"Sure! I'll send the coordinates to Franklin right now, and while I'm at it, I'll tell my parents and my godfather that someone is bullying me."
Valeria stood directly in front of Thor, holding a scanner in both hands.
Perhaps from spending too much time with Emma, her tone unconsciously carried a hint of unquestionable authority.
"Alright, fine, your brother is incredible!"
Thor admitted defeat. To think that he, a powerhouse only one step away from the Single Universe Level, was actually being threatened by a little brat?
The world is truly going downhill!
It definitely wasn't because her brother was a Multiverse-level big shot, and one of the top ones at that.
"Is that really necessary? Thor, I'm just collecting some of your physical data, it's not like I'm going to eat you."
Valeria looked at Thor's miserable face and simply couldn't bear to watch.
Cursed brat!
Just wait until I'm stronger than your brother, see if I don't give your butt a good kicking!
Valeria ignored Thor, who was secretly swearing to get revenge in the future, and controlled a series of devices to give him a full-body checkup.
She stared at the data jumping on the light screen, her eyes growing brighter and brighter:
"The peak power value is about three orders of magnitude higher than the baseline of the Thor from my side... Is this caused by the integration of the Law of Power?"
"Divine power fluctuations exceed the Asgard standard threshold by about 320%..."
"Biological age is 5001, nearly two thousand years older than the sample from my side. Is the aging rate positively correlated with the growth of divine power?"
She tilted her head, her tone filled with the excitement of discovering a new continent:
"So the aging of the Aesir is itself a process of power accumulation? Age and divine power are positively correlated... this subject is enough for me to write three papers."
Thor looked at the increasingly abnormal little girl and helplessly muttered a complaint: "...So you're just treating me as material for a paper?"
Valeria ignored him and continued sliding through the data, her expression suddenly becoming serious:
"Wait... your simulated peak divine power output is close to the level of a Main Sequence Star."
She looked up at Thor, her gaze like she was looking at an object that shouldn't exist:
"But your body density isn't enough to support this kind of energy output. According to mechanical models, you should have already self-combusted."
Thor: "..."
Just these technical terms were already giving him a headache, but what was with that 'you should be dead' look on your face?
Valeria leaned in a bit closer, sizing him up with pure scientific fanaticism in her voice:
"So, how are you still alive?"
"Are you done with your research?"
"Don't leave, you haven't answered my question yet."
Seeing Thor about to leave, Valeria decisively grabbed his hand. Her brain was completely occupied by a thirst for knowledge; this Thunder God Thor's body was enough for her to study for half a year!
"Are you the scientist, or am I the scientist? If you don't even understand it, why ask me? Do I look like someone who understands your technical jargon?"
"True, you Aesir are just a bit stronger in power, but your IQ is no different from an ordinary person's. Asking you is pointless."
Snapped back to reality by Thor's words, Valeria gave him a disdainful glance as if looking at trash, then turned back to continue her research on her own.
Thor calmed his emotions. Don't get angry, don't get angry. This brat has an off-the-charts IQ, and her brother has off-the-charts combat power.
As the saying goes, kings do not meet; it's better to avoid the edge first.
"I am Groot?!"
(Thor? You're finally out!)
Chapter 39: The Multiverse Squad Sets Off!
The White House, the place where Emma Frost lived and worked.
A large conference hall was now filled with people.
There was Little Groot, the HYDRA trio, three Loki variants, the Laura and Gambit team, the Human Torch trio, CaptainCarter's team, Emma Frost sitting in the main seat, and Betsy and Thor beside her.
Knock, knock, knock!
Emma's knuckles tapped lightly on the wooden conference table, making a crisp sound.
"Very well, since everyone is here, let's begin the discussion. Who will go with Thor to the Multiverse to collect resources? And who will stay behind to guard our position?"
"Our team abstains; we will stay to guard the Land of Nihility."
Erica was the first to speak.
"Reason?" Emma's voice rang out, devoid of any emotion.
"Our team's combat power isn't high. If we encounter strong enemies in the Multiverse, we'll have no way to deal with them and might even lose people. I propose our team stays behind to handle security-related work."
"Provisionally approved. Who's next?"
Emma produced a small gavel from somewhere and tapped it lightly against the block on the table.
"Our team is going."
Captain Carter spoke next.
"Reason."
"While Danny, Natasha, and I aren't exactly the strongest, we're capable enough of gathering intel in the Main Universe. We can go there first to collect the necessary information, then rendezvous with Thor and the others after they finish rescuing Groot's teammates."
"And..." At this point, Captain Carter paused and looked at Captain Hydra across from her, "Personally, I don't want to work in the same place as HYDRA."
"Steve, it seems your first love is quite repelled by you now?" Seeing this, Ophelia didn't miss the chance to stir the pot.
"Provisionally approved. Also, Ophelia, that's one demerit."
Emma glanced at Madame Hydra Ophelia.
"Tsk... what a boring woman."
Having been warned once, Ophelia pursed her lips, leaned back in her chair, and nonchalantly toyed with her nails.
"I agree with Carter's proposal. Our team will also stay to guard the Land of Nihility."
Captain Hydra Steve lightly tapped the table, agreeing to the request.
"Finally, my turn!" Human Torch Johnny let out an excited shout. "I'm going with Thor to the Multiverse. My strength can be of help."
"You can't go."
Before Emma could speak, Valeria once again exposed the truth about her uncle from this parallel Universe.
"Johnny's personality is too flighty and unstable. Based on my personal character data simulation model, the probability of him causing trouble is 99.999%. It wouldn't surprise me if he accidentally blew up the Earth one day."
"Valeria! I'm your uncle!"
Johnny's face turned a deep shade of red after being exposed in front of everyone again, and he glared fiercely at Valeria.
"From a parallel Universe. Strictly speaking, you're not even a cousin."
"You!"
"Alright, Valeria's analysis has never been wrong. Johnny, you stay in the Land of Nihility. Valeria, Gamora, what about you two?"
Emma interrupted.
"I'm not going. It's too dangerous out there."
Gamora was concise.
"And you?" Emma looked at Valeria.
"I'm not going either. I'll stay here and do research. If I go out, it'll be easy for Franklin to catch me and take me back. I don't want to be grounded again."
Valeria crossed her arms, clearly not wanting to go home so soon.
"Besides, the Land of Nihility is conveniently independent of the Universe. As long as I don't actively send out coordinates, it's impossible for Franklin to find me."
"Oh, right, Thor, you need to bring back some materials for me. High Evolutionary technology, mass-produced Vibranium, and Asgardian Uru metal. Or Adamantium, the same material as Wolverine's claws, would work too."
"I have some research that could use them. Since you can't go out and catch a Dimensional Demon for me to study right now, I'll have to make do."
Valeria rattled off a long list of materials and looked toward Thor.
"Fine, such high demands for a little kid," Thor nodded.
"Hmph, says the Thor, God of Thunder, whose IQ is lower than a kid's."
Valeria shot back without a second thought.
"Pfft..."
As Ophelia's bell-like laughter rang out, some of the others present couldn't hold it in and laughed along.
"Wait? What are you all laughing at? Emma, control them! This is a meeting, it's supposed to be serious, okay?"
Thor looked at Emma beside him, only to find that the corners of her mouth were also slightly upturned.
Seriously?
Typical Emma! And you bunch of fair-weather friends!
Just wait until I find a chance, see if I don't shock the lot of you!
He wasn't called the Lord of Lightning for nothing!
"Alright, approved. Your turn, Loki."
Emma spoke calmly, her aura spreading out to forcibly put an end to the laughter.
"I'm going with Thor too!"
Young Loki stood up abruptly, flashing the sword at his waist.
"You stay here and focus on your cultivation." Old Lokipressed down lightly on Young Loki's shoulder, using an irresistible force to shove him back into his seat.
"The two of them will stay. I will go with Thor. I can do everything they can, and I'm stronger."
"Hey! You old geezer, you... mmm..."
Before Young Loki could finish, Old Loki raised a hand and physically muted him.
"Very well. Do any of you have objections to these arrangements?"
Emma stood up like an empress and surveyed the room.
"None."
"None."
...
"Good. Then Thor, when do you plan to set off?"
"Now, I suppose. After all, I don't know how much longer Groot's teammates can hold on."
Thor snapped his fingers, and everyone instantly appeared in a vast plaza.
Groot was also very excited at finally having the chance to rescue Rocket and the others. On his small head, something similar to a Bamboo Dragonfly propeller suddenly grew out.
Buzz, buzz, buzz...
As the two propeller blades on Little Groot's head began to spin frantically, his body slowly began to hover. Within a few breaths, he had flown onto Thor's shoulder.
Thor stared at this for a long time, stunned.
Is this right?
Don't tell me you're actually Doraemon, Groot?
"I am Groot!"
(Thor! What are you standing around for? Let's go!)
Thor always felt that the Marvel characters he knew seemed completely different from what he understood in his past life. Why were they all starting to develop in such strange directions?
But on second thought, although the Marvel Universe was just comic books and movies in his previous life, that didn't prevent this Universe from having its own operational logic.
Even comic characters have histories of growth. These people now were living, breathing people—well, living beings. A few minor changes shouldn't be too big of a problem, right?
"Emma, are you coming with me?"
Thor looked at Emma beside him.
"I am no one's canary, Thor. I am my own empress."
"Alright. Betsy, what about you?"
"Can I take that as an invitation for a date in the Multiverse, Thor?"
Betsy had changed her clothes. She was no longer wearing her high-cut one-piece combat suit, but a tight-fitting suit made of a special purple high-fiber material.
"Sure, you can look at it that way, Betsy."
Thor couldn't quite keep up with her train of thought for a moment, but after thinking about it, he smiled and agreed.
"I'm sure this will be a very exciting dating journey." Betsywalked to Thor's side and linked her arm with his.
Captain Carter stood behind Thor with Iron Fist Danny and Black Widow Natasha. Old Loki had changed into a standard dark brown suit, and holding a thermos, he walked over slowly.
"Looks like everyone's here. Next, it's time for Sorcerer Supreme Thor to make his entrance!"
Thor put on the Sling Ring and silently focused on his target: Open a portal to the Earth-199999 Universe!
Sizzle, sizzle...
Golden sparks danced in front of Thor, then rapidly expanded into a circular portal a good two meters high. Behind the portal was a dark, oppressive sky.
Everyone looked at the portal curiously, peering through it.
Crunch, crunch, crunch...
A chewing sound that didn't seem to belong to a normal creature came from behind the portal. In the oppressive black-gray sky, a figure wearing a golden combat suit hung quietly in the air.
The figure seemed to sense something and slowly turned around, revealing a pale, greenish-gray face. Disheveled long golden hair draped over his shoulders. He held a severed arm in his hand, his mouth constantly chewing, with blood dripping from the corners of his lips.
A large white'S' pattern on his waist caught everyone's eye. Immediately after, a bloodthirsty voice carrying an unmaskable hunger came through the portal:
"Tsk... look what I've found. Fresh food, or rather, delivery right to my door... Heh heh heh..."
