Chapter 2106 - Ch: 24-31

Chapter 24: Cassandra, I'm Here to Kick Your Ass

Thor looked at the five Law Fragments in Old Loki's palm, and his eyes instantly lit up.

"Thank you, Loki. As expected of my own brother." Thorgave Old Loki a big hug, deeply moved.

Saving this guy was definitely the right call!

"Emma, once I finish absorbing these Law Fragments, I'll help you kick Cassandra's ass and let her know what happens when you offend the Queen!"

Emma glanced at Thor and left him with one sentence.

"Remember our deal, and also, leave her with one last breath."

Thor watched Emma's back and rubbed his head. It had to be Emma; her speaking style was as cold and haughty as ever. Even though it was a deal, coming from her mouth, it sounded like an order.

Forget it, I won't bother with this tsundere. Improving my strength is what's most important.

Thor watched as everyone dispersed to rest and build up their energy. He found a secluded corner, sat down, and began to examine the Law Fragments in his hand.

One fragment of the Law of Soul, one of the Law of Creation, one of the Law of Annihilation, one of the Law of Power, and one of the Law of Reality.

It was rare to encounter two new laws, and they were both quite powerful.

The Law of Power, as the name suggests, means great strength creates miracles; one force can suppress ten techniques.

The Law of Reality was even more terrifying. Its name was also simple and direct; quite simply, it allows for the modification of reality.

Theoretically speaking, it completely belongs to the realm of creating something from nothing, similar to a Creator.

Its essential effect is similar to Scarlet Witch Wanda's Chaos Magic, though Chaos Magic has a higher upper limit, as it is magic created by the Dimensional Lord Chthon.

Multiverse-level big shots aren't someone a small fry like him can mess with right now. Once he leaves the Land of Nihility, he'll go find a few stones to comprehend for fun. That way, no matter which Universe he goes to, he'll be able to use the corresponding laws.

After all, he remembered that in Marvel, these Infinity Stones are basically only useful in their respective Universes. Once they leave their home Universe, they are essentially just ordinary rocks.

As for Infinity Ultron, that ruthless person who swept through the Multiverse, to be honest, Thor was also a bit confused about his situation.

Was it that the Infinity Stones from his Universe were special?

Or perhaps every time Infinity Ultron fought, he brought his own Universe with him? It would be as if Infinity Ultron's Universe followed him to invade other Multiverses, so naturally, he could exert the full power of the Infinity Stones.

Of course, these were just his personal conjectures. He would have to meet Infinity Ultron to know the specific situation.

Speaking of which, can Infinity Ultron still use the power of the Infinity Stones within the Time Variance Authority?

Forget it, forget it. These aren't things a mere Odin-levellike him should worry about. Better get to business first.

However, Thor's absorption of the Law Fragments wasn't that fast this time. A full day passed before he finished.

When he first started absorbing them, he thought it would be done quickly. He didn't expect that the five Law Fragments Old Loki gave him didn't just contain a wisp of law each, but five wisps!

One could only say that Old Loki was too overpowered. The laws contained in the fragments he casually gave away were more complete than the ones Thor had found himself.

If classified by realm levels, he was now equivalent to the late Odin-level. It would only take a few more fragments to return to his peak.

Excellent! This is the standard start for a power fantasy!

He could now fulfill his promise to Betsy to reshape her body. For the glory of Asgard and for the legacy of Asgard, Cassandra would contribute her incredibly precious life!

As a dignified transmigrator, Thor Odinson had finally ushered in his own glory!

Jie jie jie...

The corners of Thor's mouth curled up unconsciously into an exaggerated arc.

He finally understood why those Dragon Kings and Gods of War liked to give a crooked smile. The joy of crushing strength is something you simply cannot imagine!

Thor didn't even know how powerful he was now. Anyway, he remembered that the original basic strength of this body was only around ten thousand tons.

Now that he had absorbed the Law of Power fragment, it had directly multiplied several times over.

Not bad, not bad. In terms of pure strength alone, he could be considered a minor Superman now.

No wonder some fellow transmigrators would be overjoyed upon obtaining a Superman template.

Superman's normal strength is roughly at the million-ton level, which is even more fierce than his current cheated state. He's a truly overpowered monster and a stat monster.

High damage with the left fist, and high damage with the right fist.

It really is kindness that limits Superman. Otherwise, a casual breath or a slap would be enough to trigger a natural disaster that destroys the Earth.

Thor opened his eyes and relaxed his palms. The Law Fragments turned into powder, flowing from his palms and drifting lightly onto the soil.

"Ahem... Everyone, are you ready? The end has come for that bald woman!"

Thor waved his hand, and the faint emerald green glow of the Law of Life fell evenly upon everyone.

Soon, the fatigue on everyone was swept away, and the hidden ailments within a few individuals' bodies quickly dissipated and healed.

Gambit Remy pulled out a small mirror. Looking at himself in the mirror, looking nearly ten years younger, he spoke up to liven the atmosphere, "Praise be to Thunder God Thor! I feel like I can fight for another few hundred years!"

Among everyone, the most joyful was none other than Erica. After all, among those present, she was the only complete ordinary person.

Blade Warrior Eric was at least a hybrid of a Vampire and a human, while she truly only had the frail body of an ordinary person and the combat skills she had practiced for many years.

But now, many of the hidden ailments and long scars she had once suffered from had vanished. This felt somewhat surreal to her, as she had long grown accustomed to a body covered in scars.

She stood stunned for a long while before looking at Thorand saying, "Thank you, Thor."

"A small matter, Erica. I believe no woman likes having scars on her body."

Emma was standing not far from Thor. Hearing this, she paused for a moment and then continued to squeeze Little Groot's head.

Little Groot looked back a bit unhappily.

"I am Groot!"

(You're hurting me!)

Emma ignored him, only slightly reducing the pressure.

Betsy walked over, glanced at Thor, and then pointed to a scar on her arm.

"When do you plan to help me get rid of this one?"

"? It wasn't removed just now?"

Seeing the scar, Thor was first taken aback, then a bit bewildered.

What kind of scar was this? It was so ridiculous that even the Law of Life, of which he had mastered nearly half, couldn't remove it?

"No."

"How did you get this injury?"

Thor frowned. The Mutant Universe was still a bit too overpowered.

"A curse placed by a dark mage. Before he died, he said this scar couldn't be removed. I've tried many times too."

Betsy recounted her past experience with a flat expression.

Refusing to believe it, Thor used the Law of Life on Betsyagain. However, there was still no change.

"It's useless. It was the same just now."

"Your Mutant Universe is really ridiculous. Even a dark magic curse is so off the charts."

Betsy raised an eyebrow, looking like she didn't know what the deal was either.

"Forget it. After dealing with Cassandra, I'll fulfill our deal and reshape your body."

Hearing this, Betsy stood quietly in place. Her gaze fixed on Thor's face, she didn't speak immediately but instead revealed a smile. This was the first time she had smiled from the bottom of her heart in all the years since her body had been replaced.

Her eyes crinkled slightly, and her smile was as faint as mist, yet more real than ever before—like a purple butterfly orchid finally unfurling amidst the flash of blades. She replied softly:

"Okay."

Chapter 25: Why Not Show Off When You Have the Ability?

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

Yellow sand filled the sky, and across the desolate land sat the remains of a giant. The giant lay quietly on the yellow earth, legs stretched straight and arms reaching forward in an embracing gesture.

This was Cassandra's Base, a facility made from the corpse of an Ant-Man enlarged by Pym Particles. Such a bizarre aesthetic highlighted Cassandra's own madness and evil.

She was the recognized ruler and madwoman of the Land of Nihility, possessing not a shred of reverence for life; everything was merely to satisfy her twisted, perverted, and bloodthirsty desires.

"Captain, are we really going to work for that lunatic?"

At the Base entrance, a man wearing high-tech exoskeleton armor asked the man beside him, who was dressed in a black special operations suit.

Captain Hydra ignored Crossbones' words, merely mourning for him in his heart for a second.

Rip...

In the next instant, Brock Rumlow's body was torn by a terrifying force. In just a breath's time, an experienced special forces soldier had his flesh stripped away, leaving only a pool of blood, a skeleton, and remains.

Cassandra appeared out of nowhere, leaning close to Captain Hydra and reaching out a hand to stroke his chest.

"Steve Rogers, the famous Captain America, has actually thrown himself into the embrace of HYDRA. Don't you find that interesting?"

Seeing that Captain Hydra didn't answer, Cassandra was not discouraged. She took her hand off Steve's chest and stood about a meter away from him.

With both hands behind her back, she pretended to be an innocent and naive girl, looking at Captain Hydra with her eyes blinking rapidly.

"Aren't you sad for your teammate? Come on, say what's in your heart! After you're done, you can go join him."

Cassandra's acting was superb. If it were anyone else, they would likely have fallen for it, but unfortunately, the person before her was Captain Hydra, Steve Rogers, whose willpower had reached the limits of humanity.

Even if he had turned to HYDRA, it didn't change the fact that he possessed incredible perseverance and will.

Cassandra waited for a full minute without receiving a reply and finally grew impatient. With a wave of her hand, Crossbones' remains instantly turned into dust, dissipating into the desolation along with the rolling yellow sand.

"Boring man."

Seeing that the other party stood there quietly like a stone, Cassandra returned to her true self. She reached out to straighten the collar of her khaki trench coat and was about to step into the Base to return to her throne.

"Eh?"

Before Cassandra could take a step, she sensed something unusual. She turned around to look at the rolling dark clouds sweeping in, within which multicolored lightning flickered. Her mood, which had just been ruined, instantly improved again.

"Ms. Nova, Alioth is coming. You go first; I'll cover the rear."

Captain Hydra looked at the dark clouds with a serious expression, taking his shield from his back and strapping it to his arm.

"No, no, no, that's not Alioth, darling. That's a very interesting experimental subject."

Clap, clap, clap...

Cassandra clapped her hands three times with great excitement. Looking toward the dark clouds, her gaze became even more fervent. That Thunder God Thor was finally willing to bring her toy up.

She had been quite bored these past few days!

Those three crisp claps were like a signal that quickly spread through the Base. In less than a minute, about twenty people were standing behind Cassandra.

Leading them was a tall, burly man, three meters high, encased in armor made of red metal.

Beside this giant was a middle-aged man in an elegant gentleman's suit, dressed in British style without a single wrinkle on his body, wearing a pitch-black metal helmet on his head.

Behind these two was a large group of Mutants: Ghost, Banshee, and Captain Hydra's associates, Madame Hydraand the Winter Soldier.

Each one was on high alert, ready to join this carnival of death at any moment.

Above the clouds, a Five-clawed Divine Dragon formed purely of laws was rapidly approaching Cassandra's Base.

Standing on the dragon's back was Thor's group.

Remy LeBeau had grown accustomed to this Thunder God Thor occasionally pulling off flashy maneuvers; he was no longer easily startled by such means.

Young Loki still couldn't hold back the curiosity unique to adolescence and asked, "Why don't we just charge in instead of telling them we're here so ostentatiously?"

"You wouldn't understand, kid. This is called style, got it?"

Thor rolled his eyes at the brat who understood nothing.

When he had no power, he didn't show off. Now that he had power, if he still didn't show off, what was the point of having it?

Besides, a mere Cassandra could be destroyed with a snap of his fingers!

The small group of Mutants in the Ant-Man Base finally saw the culprit behind the multicolored lightning filling the dark clouds. It was a multicolored divine dragon over a hundred meters long, and this massive creature was sweeping toward them.

"W-what is that?!"

Which of Cassandra's subordinates present wasn't an experienced expert with rich combat experience?

But they truly had never seen a scene like this. Just a hint of the pressure emitted by this Dragon of Laws made the thought of resistance vanish from their hearts.

"A dragon condensed from the power of laws? Interesting."

Cassandra had no intention of blocking this pressure for her subordinates, standing quietly in place and watching Thor's performance.

"Hey! Cassandra, that self-righteous Jokerunacknowledged by Charles, I'm here to kick your ass!"

A thunderous pillar of lightning crashed down two hundred meters in front of Cassandra with a bang. Thorand the others landed instantly, not forgetting to poke at her old wounds upon arrival.

"Thor, are you here to bring me a new toy? Not bad, I can change to a new diamond toilet."

Cassandra was not provoked as expected; instead, she nonchalantly glanced at the people Thor had brought.

Psylocke and the White Queen, plus three Loki variantsand four unknown pieces of trash. To think they wanted to cause her trouble with just these few people—it was truly too amusing!

"Cassandra, is there a possibility that I'm here to turn you into a toilet?"

Thor didn't miss the classic pre-battle trash-talk. While her attention was drawn to him, he directly controlled the Dragon of Laws circling in the sky to dive toward Cassandra.

Cassandra was no fool, after all. She noticed his small move immediately. With a light lift of her hand, Red Tank's body appeared directly above her head, helping her withstand the first wave of the offensive.

Boom!

With a thunderous roar, the hundred-meter-long dragon bit down hard on Red Tank and smashed him straight into the Ant-Man Base. In an instant, Cassandra's Base was destroyed, and Red Tank's whereabouts were unknown.

This move of selling out a teammate before the team fight truly left Thor at a loss. One could only say it had to be Cassandra; whether as her opponent or her teammate, one was 'blessed'.

Thor was unwilling to give Cassandra a chance to fully use her powers. The Law of Space activated instantly, and he appeared behind her.

A fist the size of a sandbag, wrapped in multicolored lightning, smashed down, colliding with the Telekinetic barrier created by the evil bald woman. An invisible shockwave radiated outward frantically from the two of them.

A few unlucky souls were sent flying by the aftershocks of the battle because they were too close, crashing heavily to the ground, their fates unknown.

The elegant middle-aged man in the suit stood quietly in place. The terrifying Impact was rapidly absorbed the moment it touched his body, then condensed into a small ball of light held in his palm.

He didn't look at the guy fighting Cassandra, but instead fixed his gaze on the White Queen, Emma Frost, in Thor's group.

"Emma Frost, my Queen, you are far too late."

Chapter 26: Because I Am the God of Mischief, Loki Odinson

"Sebastian Shaw, after you expelled me from the Hellfire Club, we became enemies."

"And besides, I am not your property."

When Emma saw the Black King, it truly was a meeting of enemies. Although he wasn't the Black King from her Universe, it didn't matter; as long as it was this man, it was enough.

Emma's Omega Level mental power was released instantly. The Mutants who had just survived the aftermath of the clash between Cassandra and Thor were now caught in the crossfire once again.

After all, not everyone is immune to Telepathy and mental control.

Sebastian Shaw stood where he was without moving. Even after sensing Emma's killing intent toward him, his expression remained unchanged.

"Emma, I am not the person you speak of, the one who would personally expel my Queen from the Hellfire Club."

"Next is our time to catch up, and we shouldn't be disturbed by outsiders. Don't you agree, Emma?"

Sebastian Shaw raised his hand, and a terrifying cluster of kinetic light was released from his palm.

In the next moment, a shockwave no less powerful than the clash between Cassandra and Thor swept across the scene once more. Layer upon layer of kinetic energy surged out like ocean waves, heading toward Betsy, Laura, and the others.

Laura's Beast sense was trembling wildly, but to protect her teammates, she still charged to the very front, intending to withstand the Black King's attack with her physical body.

"Children, go deal with the others. Leave this to me."

An aged, steady hand was placed gently on Laura's shoulder, and an irresistible force pulled her back.

Old Loki stepped forward slowly, standing out once again to block everyone's path alone.

Sebastian Shaw sneered as he blasted a violent kinetic shockwave. Yellow sand swirled, and the air currents tore through the sky and earth.

Old Loki simply raised his hand slightly, and an Asgardian magic barrier shimmering with an emerald luster quietly unfolded.

Boom—!!!

The Black King's full-force blow struck that thin film of light without even causing a single ripple. It vanished silently into thin air.

Old Loki lowered his eyes, his tone as calm as a sigh:

"Mortal brute force dares to be so insolent before a god?"

Snap!

A crisp snap of fingers sounded, and emerald divine light erupted from Old Loki's palm. A golden thread, almost invisible to the naked eye, appeared from his hand and quickly connected to the Black King.

Sebastian Shaw manipulated his power to frantically blast the golden thread that had appeared out of nowhere in the void.

However, the kinetic shockwaves that usually overturned mechanical constructs and reinforced concrete with ease caused no damage to that tiny thread; instead, they passed right through it.

This unknown thread only deepened the Black King's wariness and fear of the old man before him. Just as he was about to mobilize his power to launch another attack, he looked up and saw the other's glowing green pupils.

Immediately after, his mind suddenly felt a bout of daze.

When he "opened his eyes" again, he was back at the Hellfire Club's magnificent headquarters, sitting alone on a throne made of pure gold.

A stream of information entered his mind, and Sebastian Shaw soon understood everything.

He had just conquered all the Mutants in the World, including Magneto and Professor X, as well as the ordinary humans of the World. Now, he, Black King Sebastian Shaw, was the king of this World!

The White Queen, Phoenix, Mystique... one by one, women with graceful and shapely figures sat around his throne.

Mystique held a cluster of grapes, leaning into his embrace. She licked her finger, then charmingly plucked a grape and placed it in his mouth.

"Shaw, my king, it is time to eat."

"Where is my helmet? And wasn't I in the Land of Nihility? Is this an illusion or...?"

Sebastian Shaw chewed on the grape while thinking. Everything felt too wrong. Had he really conquered the World just like that?

"Helmet? Shaw, when have you ever worn a helmet??"

"Hmm? I'm talking about the psychic shielding helmet, the one that prevents Charles from controlling me."

"But aren't you the strongest Mutant in the World? Why would you need that helmet? Charles is no match for you either."

Mystique's three questions seemed to carry a unique temptation, magnifying the pride and complacency in Black King Sebastian Shaw's heart.

That's right. Wasn't he, the Black King, the World's strongest Omega Mutant?

If he was already the strongest, why would he need that psychic shielding helmet?

No one in the entire World was his match. This was his, Black King Sebastian Shaw's, power. He was so powerful, why would he need external assistance?

As his thoughts cleared, he grabbed Mystique in his arms, tilted her chin up, and said dominantly, "Raven, it's time to serve me in bed..."

Before he could continue discussing the true meaning of human life with Mystique, a sudden sharp pain shot through his mind, and a mental force both familiar and strange rushed into his brain without hindrance.

Sebastian Shaw curled up on the ground in pain. He looked up at the White Queen and gritted his teeth, "Emma, is this your doing?"

Crack...

The scene, as real as a dream, shattered rapidly like glass. He was back on the battlefield in the Land of Nihility, holding the helmet he had originally been wearing in his hands. The golden thread connected to him also slowly dissipated.

Sebastian Shaw looked incredulously at the old man in the gold and green cloak a dozen steps away. Seemingly aware of his fate, he asked unwillingly before dying:

"Old man, how did you do it? I was clearly wearing a helmet that shields mental power and Telepathy. How did you make me fall for it?"

Old Loki looked at the kneeling, pretentious, and incredibly proud Black King Sebastian Shaw and gave the answer.

"Because I am the God of Mischief, Loki Odinson."

Without the psychic shielding helmet, Emma easily took control of the Black King's body.

"Sebastian Shaw, you finally have your day."

Emma walked slowly to the kneeling Black King, looking down from above. There was no mercy in her eyes, only cold hatred that had accumulated over countless years.

She didn't kill him immediately. Instead, she turned her Omega Level mental power into countless fine, cold needles and pierced them into his brain bit by bit.

"Didn't you like treating me as your property?"

"Didn't you like controlling everything and calling yourself an emperor?"

"Didn't you think your power could override everything?"

Every word was accompanied by the Black King's heart-wrenching screams.

Emma was crushing his pride, his conceit, and his ridiculous dream of being an emperor bit by bit.

She wanted him to understand in the deepest despair and pain—

That he was never a king, but just a pathetic worm consumed by desire.

"You ruined my past, enslaved my dignity, and trampled me into the mud of Hellfire to toy with me at will."

"I won't give you a quick death."

"I want you to experience firsthand everything I have ever suffered."

In the mental World, Emma returned all the control, humiliation, and pain that the Black King had inflicted upon her, a hundredfold, a thousandfold.

In just three seconds, the Black King had completely broken down, tears and snot flowing, with none of his former dignity remaining.

Once he had completely lost all resistance, pride, and everything else—

Emma's eyes turned cold.

"The game is over, Shaw."

A brilliant and cold mental beam pierced through the Black King's skull.

Sebastian Shaw couldn't even let out a final scream before his body slumped to the ground, completely devoid of life.

Emma slowly withdrew her power. Looking at the corpse on the ground, there was no expression on her face, only a sense of cold relief.

"From now on, there is no White Queen in this World, only me, Emma Frost."

Chapter 27: Cassandra's God-Defying Operation

The two strongest generals under Cassandra were either dead or missing, and the remaining small fry couldn't even beat Laura's squad.

Laura and Erica joined forces, like tigers entering a flock of sheep, and blood flew everywhere in an instant.

Gambit Remy stood not far away, charging his playing cards while throwing them. His throwing technique was exquisite, and every card could precisely cut into the battlefield, disrupting the Mutants' attacks.

Blade Warrior Eric had somehow circled behind the Mutants and, coordinating with Remy, began a frantic slaughter.

It could only be said that the strength of ordinary Mutants was just average; against these four individuals with peak combat skills, it was completely one-sided.

"Steve, should we fight them?"

Winter Soldier Bucky clutched a submachine gun and looked at his friend beside him.

"No, there's no need. We should even give them a hand; we can't let Cassandra's subordinates escape."

Captain Hydra Steve shook his head.

Madame Hydra Ophelia Sarkissian glanced at Steve with some surprise. "Steve, this decision of yours surprises me a bit. Shouldn't we stay away from the struggles of these monsters?"

"This Thunder God Thor is different from the one in our Universe; he's too powerful. And there's that Old Loki. If we leave, we might be treated as Cassandra's remnants."

"Moreover, this Thor gives me a different feeling. He doesn't seem to care much about our HYDRA identity, and he isn't even surprised that I've become Captain Hydra. Helping them gives us a high probability of survival."

Madame Hydra Ophelia gave him a faint glance, her tone cold and indifferent:

"Since survival is the first priority, then as you wish.

But remember, HYDRA has no allies, only those who use and those who are used."

Immediately after, she pulled a long whip from her waist and lashed it toward a Mutant trying to flee in the distance.

Crack!

The long whip landed precisely on the fleeing Mutant's back, instantly tearing the flesh open, while the toxins attached to it quickly entered the body through the wound.

The unlucky Mutant had just scrambled up to continue fleeing when his legs suddenly gave out. His body went limp, and he collapsed to the ground. After twitching for a full minute, he foamed at the mouth and ceased to breathe.

On the other side...

On the true main battlefield, Cassandra nonchalantly wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth and gave a light wave toward the charred, terrifying hole in her chest. Her severely injured body quickly healed.

She tilted her head and looked at Thor in front of her. She didn't attack immediately, beginning instead with a reminiscence: "You are different from the toys I've met before. You are very special."

"Over the years, many reckless insects have tried to provoke me, and they all ended up as part of my collection. There were guys who could grow big or small, magicians who performed tricks, and several big fellows in red, green, and purple."

"I've killed quite a few Asgardians too; I've even killed no fewer than ten versions of Thunder God Thor. But someone as special as you is a first for me."

"I've decided. Your treatment can be upgraded. You don't have to be my toy or collection. I'll allow you to be my pet and plaything. How about it, Thor? Am I being special enough for you?"

Cassandra licked her lips, revealing a hint of allure and a Master's posture.

Thor didn't know what to say for a moment. He could only sigh inwardly: I really don't understand the World of the mentally ill. Compared to this person, Thanos, that Director of the Universe Population Control Committee, is practically a saint!

Even when he kills, he makes it painless! He's simply too kind!

"Cassandra, you were abandoned by Charles."

"You are trying to provoke me."

Cassandra narrowed her eyes.

"You were abandoned by Charles."

"Thor, I'm giving you one last chance: be my pet or become a pile of bones on the ground. My patience is limited, darling."

"You were abandoned by Charles. Charles doesn't even know who you are."

"Very well, Thor. I hope you've already chosen your burial ground."

Cassandra was completely enraged. A terrifying telekinetic storm began to gather, and within a few breaths, a storm with a diameter of a hundred meters condensed into form.

At this moment, the mental power belonging to the great saint of the Mutant Universe, Professor X Charles Xavier, erupted in full force. Cassandra proved with facts why Professor X is one of the strongest telepaths and Mutants on Earth!

Gambit Remy looked at the terrifying storm that had formed in the blink of an eye and glanced back at Emmaand Betsy. "The Professor really is a good man. To have such terrifying power and still be willing to reason and pursue peace."

Emma's pupils also shrank sharply. This storm was many levels stronger than the one she and Betsy had faced when they teamed up against Cassandra earlier.

So, was this the kind of power Charles had always wielded?

Betsy glanced to the side at Groot, who was swinging a hammer several times his own height to smash people's heads, and then looked back at the storm in the sky.

She had always known the Professor was strong, but she hadn't expected him to be this strong. Thor had told them before that Cassandra was a pure mental entity who had tried to kill the Professor in the womb but was counter-killed, while simultaneously copying the Professor's abilities.

And the reason Cassandra was so strong was that she had copied the Professor's Mutant abilities and was even more unscrupulous.

She was very fortunate that the Professor of her Universewas a good man; otherwise, she really couldn't think of any way to counter him.

She could already imagine how terrifying a Charles Xavierwithout bottom lines, morals, or scruples would be!

And Cassandra, the Professor's sister, was the perfect example of this!

When Thor saw this, the silence was deafening. He didn't even know what to say. He could only say that Cassandrawas truly'sharp-headed.' Using a storm to deal with the God of Thunder, seriously?

Although he was called Thunder God Thor, controlling the weather and storms was also part of his authority. Cassandra was just too friendly; not only did she sell out her teammates upon meeting, but she even gave him a buff!

He had never played a game with such a smooth advantage!

Furthermore, because Cassandra had been using telekinesis, the Telekinesis Fragments falling from her were all absorbed by him. It could be said that his telekinetic power was now no less than that of the bald woman before him.

Thor truly understood just how broken the cheat known as Heaven-Defying Comprehension was.

It was one thing to absorb and comprehend things like Law Fragments, but he could even comprehend and Master the abilities used by others. However, the fragments falling from others didn't seem to be Law Fragments.

If he had to define a boundary, they should be called Ability Fragments.

However, he had also figured out that there seemed to be a clear distinction in comprehending others' abilities. For example, he could quickly learn mental powers, abilities, or magic like those used by Emma, Betsy, and Loki, but once it involved physical constitution, it seemed impossible.

Thor had specifically sought out Laura once to see if he could comprehend her insane Self-healing ability, but to his surprise, Laura didn't drop any fragments when using her ability!

This made things a bit difficult for him!

After all, who wouldn't want a Self-healing ability that could be called a law?

Just because he had the Law of Life didn't mean he couldn't have self-healing, right?

More tools, more paths—that was the only true logic.

Moreover, the Law of Life required his divine power to use, whereas the self-healing abilities of Wolverine, Deadpool, and Laura were completely passive.

As a gamer, you can't just have active skills; you need passive skills too. And yet, this passive skill that was right next to him was something he couldn't comprehend!

What kind of nonsense was this?

Wasn't this like a cooked duck at his lips suddenly coming back to life, slapping him, and then flying away?

He never expected that Heaven-Defying Comprehensionwould actually have such damn limitations!

"Thor, don't worry. I will treat your corpse very well."

Cassandra finally finished condensing the terrifying storm. The massive corpse of Ant-Man was directly sucked up by the terrifying suction, and in an instant, it was sliced into huge bones and then reduced to bone meal filling the air.

Countless dust, sand, rocks, and debris rose from the ground, frantically feeding the hurricane that was now a full five hundred meters tall.

The entire sky turned completely dark, visibility was blurred, and rocks were everywhere. Even standing at a safe distance, Erica and the others still had bloody gashes cut into them by the gale and flying stones.

Under this level of power, the usually gentle and mild wind had turned into one sharp blade after another, frantically slicing everything in sight.

Thor watched the storm racing toward him and, instead of retreating, he advanced. The distance between them closed rapidly until he extended a finger and lightly pressed it against the hurricane less than a centimeter in front of him.

The wind stopped.

Thor happily collected the buff and laughed loudly, regardless of the occasion.

"Cassandra, you're practically a genius!"

"Using a storm to deal with the God of Thunder, you really are a 'big brain'!"

In the next second, the hurricane turned around and rushed toward Cassandra, with countless violent thunderbolts mixed within.

The thunderstorm had arrived!

"I am Thunder God Thor. I come with the storm, bringing the wrath of the gods!"

Chapter 28: Apocalypse? Isn't He Just a Nobody by the Roadside?

The thunderstorm, carrying the force of ten thousand thunderclaps, roared back. The psychic storm that had been so arrogant just a moment ago was now entirely transformed into Thor's blades, bearing down upon Cassandra's head!

Cassandra's expression changed abruptly as she frantically pushed her psychic power to resist, but the telekinesis she took pride in was like wet paper before the authority of thunder.

She could tear steel and crush souls, but she could not budge the god who commanded the storm.

"No—!! This is impossible!!"

At the moment of the booming explosion, her psychic form was violently pierced by thunder, and the majority of her massive consciousness shattered on the spot.

Thor stepped forward slowly, lightly lifting a finger as a wisp of the Law of Annihilation quietly emerged.

A dark purple shimmer, tinged with pitch black, streaked through the air, causing even space itself to warp slightly.

This was a power that erased existence at a conceptual level. Let alone a psychic form like hers, even a true god would return to nothingness upon contact.

"You... this is... the power of the Law of Annihilation?!"

Cassandra finally showed true terror.

She did not fear death, she did not fear torture, and she did not fear the shattering of her soul,

But she feared being completely erased.

"You can't kill me!" she shrieked. "I will remember you, I will find you, and I will drag everything you have into the abyss—"

Before she could finish, Thor looked at the Cassandra who had been so arrogant just moments ago.

"You talk too much."

The Law of Annihilation descended gently.

Cassandra's body instantly began to blur and dissolve, as if she had never existed.

Her final scream came to an abrupt halt; not a single trace of psychic residue remained.

At that very moment—

The void suddenly tore open, and the entire Earth trembled and wailed violently as an ancient, cold aura, sedimented with hundreds of millions of years of time, crashed down.

The yellow sands stilled, the dust suspended, and even the air seemed to freeze.

A massive figure stepped out slowly, covered in ancient and hideous grey armor. His eyes were indifferent, and energy surged around him. Molecules reorganized at his fingertips at will; the Earth rose, metal liquefied, and the wild winds bowed.

The newcomer was none other than Apocalypse, En Sabah Nur. He was the true progenitor of Mutants, the oldest Mutant on Earth, and the Mutant Sovereign who had mastered the most numerous and comprehensive superpowers.

"Foreign god, how dare you wantonly slaughter Mutants on this land."

His voice was low, carrying an unquestionable majesty. "I am the origin of Mutants, I am Eternity, I am the ruler—"

Thor didn't even bother to look closely, merely letting out a soft sigh.

"Another one who thinks too highly of himself."

Don't these guys evaluate their opponent's strength before engaging in battle?

They really just charge in headfirst!

A wisp of the Law of Annihilation drifted out like light smoke, instantly transforming into a ferocious thunder dragon.

There was no loud bang, no light, and no redundant movement.

Apocalypse's body—capable of withstanding nuclear bombs, infinite self-healing, and reshaping all things—began to dissolve at a conceptual level the moment it touched the power of annihilation.

His pupils shrank, and for the first time, astonishment appeared on his face.

He exerted all his power, trying to reconstruct his body, trying to teleport away, trying to trigger the Apocalypse Havoc...

But it was all too late. This was the power of law, the source of all superpowers.

"No—!! I am Apocalypse! I am Eternity—!!"

The voice stopped abruptly.

This Mutant progenitor, who had run rampant for countless ages, didn't even last three seconds before completely turning into nothingness.

Thor clapped his hands as if brushing off a bit of dust.

"I thought he'd be strong, but isn't he just a total nobody by the roadside?"

Eh? Wait, it seems I killed him too fast. I haven't even collected all those superpower fragments from Apocalypse yet. This wave is a bit of a loss—rounding it up, it's a huge loss!

Two kilometers away, inside Old Loki's magic barrier, Gambit Remy could no longer find words to describe his shock. "That was Apocalypse, right? Back then, we only dealt with him because Jean released her power, and now he's been insta-killed?!"

"Yeah, this is probably the gap between a god and us mortals," Betsy remarked, recalling the sense of pressure she felt when facing Apocalypse.

Erica remained uncharacteristically silent because she was speechless. Having been shocked so many times, she had slowly become numb or even accustomed to it.

Young Loki looked in the direction of Thunder God Thor. Seeing those two arrogant figures fall so completely, he couldn't help but offer a rare comment.

"To be honest, the rulers in this Land of Nihility really aren't very bright. Using Thor's own authority to deal with Thor... I bet Thor was laughing his head off inside."

"They are merely slaves to power. Possessing power without a matching state of mind only leads to one end: they are destined for destruction."

Old Loki spoke disdainfully. These so-called Mutants seemed to possess great power, but without a corresponding state of mind, disaster would strike sooner or later.

Man chooses fortune, but Heaven chooses calamity; this is an eternal truth.

Thor was now feeling very, very regretful. He had made such a huge commotion just now that he had destroyed Cassandra's Base beyond recognition, and her spoils of war were nowhere to be found.

Damn Cassandra! Why did she have to make such a big scene?!

He remembered very clearly from the movies that there was a magical Sling Ring embedded with the Reality Stone and the Time Stone—that was a ticket to wander all over the Multiverse.

Add to that the two complete stones; once he fully comprehended them, he would no longer be a man who could only stop time for a minute, but someone who could do whatever he wanted!

"Thor, what are you looking for?" Emma, having inherited Betsy's legacy, once again appeared suddenly beside Thor.

As Thor turned around, he nearly bumped into Emma, which gave him quite a fright.

"What the? Emma, who did you learn this from? Walking without making a sound—don't you know people can be scared to death?"

"I learned it from Betsy. Also, you aren't a person."

Emma spoke truthfully with a cold expression.

"Emma, don't drag me into this. I never taught you that."

Betsy had also walked over at some point.

"Holy crap! Emma, is your skin itching for a beating again? That's some dirty name-calling!"

Thor was a bit unhappy upon hearing this. With his perception, he hadn't been able to find that Sling Ringnearby, and now with Emma's comment, he was quite frustrated!

He had just lost a small goal like that!

"Aren't you a god?"

However, with just one short sentence, Emma easily handled Thor.

You little...! Emma, you're a freaking genius!

He really couldn't refute that. He couldn't exactly say he was an ordinary person who transmigrated into Thor's body and only recently awakened his past life's memories.

Thor seriously suspected Emma was secretly mocking him, likely seeking revenge for when he had easily handled her before. He even had clear evidence, he just couldn't say it.

This made Thor so angry he was practically turning red!

Emma watched the expressions on Thor's face constantly changing and knew her goal was achieved. Emma Frostwas very vengeful!

Seeing Thor wanting to get angry but unable to do anything about her made her feel quite satisfied; he looked just like a Golden Retriever with its fur standing on end.

"I am Groot!"

Little Groot stood atop a large tree he had just successfully grown, waving his hands frantically at Thor. In the little guy's hand was a round ring, embedded with two brilliant gems—one red and one green.

Chapter 29: Groot is Truly My Lucky Star

Whoosh—!

Thor instantly appeared beside Groot, reaching out to scoop the little guy up, and offered a few words of sincere encouragement.

"Groot, you're truly amazing! You really are my little lucky star! With this thing, I'll be better equipped to save your teammates!"

"I am Groot—!"

Groot stood in Thor's palm, hands on his hips, accepting the praise as his due with a look of great pride.

On the other side, everyone except Thor and Grootgathered around, looking at a hammer on the ground.

The hammer lay quietly on the yellow earth, blending in with its surroundings, yet its simple appearance and the unique metallic luster it emitted still drew everyone's attention.

Young Loki squeezed through the crowd, and with just one look, he grew excited, reaching out to grab the handle, intending to lift it.

He exerted every ounce of strength he had, the veins on his hands bulging, but he failed to budge the hammer even an inch.

Young Loki refused to believe it; planting both feet firmly on the ground and gripping the handle with both hands, he began a one-sided tug-of-war.

Seeing this unusual sight, Gambit Remy also got excited. "Kid, you can't budge it. Let me try!"

"Impossible! I just need a little more time!"

Young Loki said stubbornly; this was a good item that could enhance his combat power. If he waited for that Thorto come over, there wouldn't be a share for him!

"What is this? Respected God of Mischief, Your HighnessLoki."

Erica chose her words carefully as she looked at the Old Loki beside her.

"This is Thunder God Thor's exclusive weapon, the MjolnirMjolnir. Whoever lifts it shall possess the power of Thor."

Old Loki looked at the Mjolnir on the ground, lost in memory.

Gambit Remy grew even more excited upon hearing this. Everyone present had witnessed Thunder God Thor's strength; if he could lift this hammer, he'd have it made!

When that time came, punching Magneto and kicking Apocalypse would no longer be a dream!

"You can all try, but don't get your hopes up. Even if you lift it, the power you gain won't reach the level of the Thor on our side."

"How much power you gain depends on how much power the previous wielder of this Mjolnir possessed."

Old Loki gave a reminder to the eager group; as for whether they listened, that was none of his business.

Moreover, in his view, including himself, there was likely no one who could lift this hammer.

Among all inheritances, the test of character was always the most difficult, without exception.

After struggling for a full five minutes, Young Loki finally gave up. Damn Mjolnir, it actually didn't recognize him! He, the dignified Loki Odinson, God of Mischief, didn't care for a broken hammer anyway!

Gambit Remy, Blade Warrior Eric, Betsy, Emma, and even the three remaining HYDRA members tried, but not a single person could budge the hammer.

"Laura, aren't you going to try?"

Remy glanced at Laura, who was standing quietly nearby.

"Not interested."

"Just try it. Everyone else has, and no one could lift it. Just give it a go; it's just picking it up to see."

Finally, under Gambit Remy's persistent pestering, Lauracouldn't take it anymore and walked toward the Mjolnir.

Bending down to pick it up casually, the Mjolnir was easily lifted by her. At that moment, a bolt of lightning descended from the sky, striking Laura.

Boom!

Once the dust settled, Laura's appearance had completely changed. She was clad in armor identical to Thunder God Thor's, complete with a red cape and a silver helmet on her head, holding the Mjolnir in her hand.

She was the perfect image of a Mighty Thor!

"Holy shit! Laura, you actually lifted it!"

Remy held his head in his hands, looking at the Laurabefore him in disbelief.

So, lifting the Mjolnir really does turn you into Thor!

But why wasn't it me?!!

The reactions of everyone present were more or less the same. Old Loki's brow twitched imperceptibly; it seemed there were times when even his judgment failed.

Emma watched the scene without speaking, only raising an eyebrow.

Betsy curiously stepped forward to poke the Mjolnir and the armor on Laura's body.

"This is almost the same as Thor's outfit, just seemingly more complete. Our Thor doesn't have a cape or a helmet."

"Laura, how does it feel? Has your strength increased a lot?"

Erica stepped forward and asked.

Laura felt the surging divine power within her, thought for a moment, and then spoke, "I'm not sure of the specifics, but it's at least ten times stronger than I was, if not more."

Thor was fiddling with the Sling Ring in his hand when he heard the sound of thunder behind him. Turning around, he saw everyone surrounding Laura, talking about something.

Laura's outfit was more or less the same as his, just more complete—the standard Thor attire.

So, Wolverine's cloned daughter could also lift the Mjolnir?

He wasn't really sure about that; he hadn't read all the Marvel comics. But looking at it this way, their side had gained another top-tier combatant.

In short, there were no downsides, only benefits.

Laura looked at the approaching Thor and held out the Mjolnir.

"Your weapon."

"Laura, strictly speaking, this isn't my weapon. Mine was destroyed long ago until not even a scrap remained. Besides, this hammer is just average; it's not what I want."

Thor didn't even reach out. At this stage, an ordinary Mjolnir was of no use to him. Only a King-class weaponlike the stormbreaker could truly allow him to exert and carry his full power.

Plus, this wasn't his hammer; whoever lifted it, it belonged to them.

"But you are Thor. Doesn't Thor always carry a hammer?"

Laura looked at Thor in confusion. In her inherent understanding, wasn't Thor always associated with a hammer?

"This isn't my hammer. Why give it to me? With my current strength, this thing is of no help to me at all. Besides, since you lifted it, it naturally belongs to you!"

Hearing Thor say he really had no use for the weapon, Laura stopped insisting. After putting the weapon away, she kept staring at Thor.

Thor found being stared at a bit baffling and couldn't figure out what Laura wanted. In the end, he had no choice but to ask.

"Laura, why do you keep staring at me?"

"You said you would take me to find Logan."

Oh... so that was it. He had wondered what it was.

"Don't worry about that. Just stay in the Land of Nihility. In a while, he'll show up with a pervert in a red bodysuit with dual swords, playing a'Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes' duo. The Wolverine wearing a mask that looks like two Batmen kissing is the Logan you're looking for."

"Okay."

A full ten minutes after the battle ended, Alioth arrived late. The sky darkened once more, and a twisted, giant maw emerged from the dark purple clouds.

Roar————!

Chapter 30: Stay Away From Me, You Green Woman

"What are you barking about? Alioth!"

Thor looked at this big guy who was like a sticky plaster, coming over whenever it smelled energy fluctuations.

He couldn't be bothered to waste words with it—definitely not because the other party couldn't understand him.

Raising his hand, he began to cast magic. An emerald green light erupted from Thor's palm.

This was Sylvie's unique Possession Magic. He had already secretly learned it and even enhanced it.

In a single encounter, Alioth, the most terrifying boss in the Land of Nihility, had turned into a well-behaved kitten, quietly circling above Thor and the others, no longer possessing a shred of ferocity.

Thor's easy disposal of Alioth didn't shock everyone, except for the Hydra Squad.

"Steve, Bucky, and Ophelia, do you want to continue wandering, or join me?"

He had seen the scene where the HYDRA trio helped stop the Mutants from escaping. Was there any need to guess what they were planning?

As for HYDRA, this thing wasn't even worth a stray dog on the roadside. The only one with some combat power inside was that Parasitic Inhuman, Hive. He didn't even know if the guy could withstand one of his basic attacks.

Plus these three: Captain Hydra, there wasn't much to say, he was a standard Power-level benchmark; as for Winter Soldier, he belonged at the same table as Captain Hydra; and Madame Hydra was about the same.

He just didn't quite understand why this woman liked to wear all green. Was this HYDRA's aesthetic?

Thor scanned Ophelia with his gaze. Ophelia sensed Thor's eyes but didn't mind his scrutiny at all.

She puffed out her chest, showing off her fine figure, her eyes looking at Thor with provocation and charm.

Seeing this, Thor shivered.

Although he hadn't read many comics, he still clearly remembered the descriptions regarding Madame Hydra.

This green woman in front of him, to put it bluntly, was truly poisonous all over. Things like lipstick, teeth, and maybe even her skin were toxic.

Moreover, she was naturally immune to toxins, viruses, and radiation. She was a total Little poison person!

Even with his current body, he wasn't afraid of these toxins, but just hearing about it was disgusting. Thor truly admired anyone willing to have intimate contact with this person; it was a case of "dying for lust."

Emma and Betsy also saw the whole process of Thorscanning Madame Hydra. At first, it was nothing, until Thorshivered and his face started turning green.

This woman could make Thor afraid?

This thought occurred to both of them simultaneously. They froze for a moment, then looked at each other. They hadn't realized that this lecherous Thor would be so afraid of a woman.

Thor's performance also fell into the eyes of the HYDRAtrio. Ophelia now understood why Steve made that decision; this Thor clearly knew her and likely knew her abilities.

Looking at this interesting Thor, Ophelia stepped forward, approaching him.

"Stop! Don't come over! Stay away from me!"

Seeing her movement, Thor quickly jumped back, retreating behind Old Loki. Lightning already coiled around his palm, assuming a posture that screamed that if she took one more step, he would blast her.

"Thor, is it? You seem to know a lot about me, yet not quite enough."

Ophelia stopped. Seeing this Thor, who just now was like an apocalyptic natural disaster, get so scared just because she approached, she found it quite amusing.

"When doing something intimate, I can control the toxins. Want to try, Thor?"

"Don't! Stay away from me! Don't come to Mess with me, go Mess with Steve instead!"

Ophelia was stunned for a moment, then covered her mouth and chuckled softly. Her laughter was charming and seductive, making the hearts of the people nearby tremble slightly.

She slowly smoothed the hem of her dark green clothes, her eyes rippling as she glanced sideways at Thor hiding behind Old Loki. Her tone carried a bit of playfulness and a bit of provocation:

"Go Mess with Steve? Dear Thor, are you looking down on me, or looking up to him?"

"I, Ophelia, have seen all kinds of men, yet I happen to be more interested in a powerful and interesting god like you."

As she spoke, she intentionally took another light step forward. Her fingertip hooked slightly, and a wisp of pale green poisonous mist swirled around it before instantly dissipating.

"Don't worry, until you agree, I won't touch you with a single finger."

"However... the more you hide, the more interested I become in you."

She paused, the corners of her lips curling into a dangerous and charming arc like a venomous snake:

"Sooner or later, you will take the initiative to approach me."

"Bullshit! Keep dreaming your Pipe dreams! Even if there comes a day when I, Thor, can't lift my hammer, I won't have anything to do with you!"

Old Loki's brow twitched upon hearing this. This oath Thormade was a bit too cruel—for an ordinary Thor, that is.

A Thor from a normal Multiverse would treat his hammer like his wife.

"Then we shall wait and see. I'm quite confident in my charm."

"Pfft, don't even think about it in this lifetime, Ophelia. Even if I took a fancy to Emma, I wouldn't take a fancy to you!"

Thor was still hiding behind Old Loki. Just as he finished saying this, he felt a cold gaze firmly locked onto him.

Uh-oh!

Next, Emma was going to pick a fight with him again.

"We're in."

Captain Hydra, seeing that the atmosphere wasn't right, quickly agreed.

"Steve, I knew you still had me in your heart!"

Thor shook Steve's hand very gratefully, his face full of sincerity.

"No, Steve just wants to see a more interesting plot."

Bucky the Winter Soldier interjected coldly.

Thor turned back and glared fiercely at Bucky. However, the latter still looked indifferent, shrugging his shoulders, with his face clearly written with the expression of wanting to watch the show.

"Ahem... Thor, Bucky is just joking to lighten the mood."

Captain Hydra Steve had to step in to smooth things over, fearing that this Thor would kill his friend with a bolt of lightning, leaving not even ashes behind.

"Thor, what do you plan to do next?"

Old Loki asked.

"Once I have fully comprehended these two Infinity Stones, we will go to the Main Universe."

"Main Universe? What does that mean? Are all our Universes just accessories?"

Remy the Gambit spoke up curiously, hearing this term for the first time.

"How should I put it? It's complicated to explain. Let Lokiexplain it to you; I can't explain this stuff."

Thor scratched his head and picked up Little Groot, who was dancing on the ground, decisively throwing the question to Old Loki. A proper younger brother should always help his older brother—no problem there.

"Groot, quick, make a Treehouse for me. I need to comprehend the stones!"

"I am Groot?!"

(Don't you know how to do it yourself?!)

Groot curled his lip in dissatisfaction.

"Oh, Groot, look at it this way. Using these powers consumes divine energy. Look at me, I've just finished a big battle and I'm exhausted. Besides, the sooner I finish my comprehension, the better we can save your teammates, right?"

"I am Groot."

(I suspect you're just fooling me.)

Groot complained for a bit but still decided to get to work. He couldn't guarantee how much longer his teammates could hold out.

Groot plunged both hands into the ground, and countless thick vines quickly burst through the soil. In just ten minutes, a small wooden house was generated on the spot.

"I am Groot."

(Remember what you said, heartless Thor.)

Chapter 31: Human Torch

"Hey?! You little thing, you actually dare to talk about me behind my back right in front of me? Whatever, I won't hold it against you for now."

Thor looked at Groot, who was loudly chirping about him at his feet, and ignored him, stepping into the treehouse instead.

Time waits for no one. These two complete Infinity Stonesrepresent complete laws, and absorbing them wouldn't be as fast as when he absorbed the shards before. He estimated that even with his Heaven-Defying Comprehension, it would probably take about a week.

Once he came out and helped Betsy reshape her body, he could go roam the Multiverse. He'd first swipe a few nano Iron Man suits; it didn't matter if they were powerful or not, the main thing was that they looked cool!

Then he'd look for an Asgard in some Universe and "borrow" a Stormbreaker. Hacking at people without a weapon was just a bit inconvenient.

Hmm... was he forgetting something?

Oh, he remembered. That bastard Cassandra seemed to have left some harsh words before she died. What did that mean?

It meant she had a backup plan. But Thor didn't care at all. Once he finished comprehending these two stones and learned how to use this Sling Ring, he'd follow the "network cable" to track down and confront that bald woman in person.

You like talking big, don't you?

Then there's nothing wrong with me following the line to raid your home base, right?

After finalizing his itinerary, Thor held the Sling Ringembedded with the two Infinity Stones in his palm. He sat cross-legged on the ground, feeling the vast and complete laws, and began absorbing and comprehending the source.

Old Loki looked at the crowd of curious eyes and silently complained in his heart that this Thor was truly shameless.

But complaints aside, he still had to explain.

He gently raised his right hand, and projections of trees appeared in his palm, turning into a forest in the blink of an eye.

Old Loki's tone was very flat, as if he were stating a piece of common knowledge.

"In the Multiverse, no one is the absolute 'Main,' and no one is anyone's subordinate."

"Every Universe is a parallel World that is born and operates independently."

"The World you are in, the World I am in, the World Thorcomes from... they all have equal status and are not subordinate to each other."

"There is no rule that says 'if the Main Universe is destroyed, all Universes will perish with it.'"

"The collapse of one Universe will only affect adjacent space-times; it won't involve everything."

He looked up slightly, his voice soft yet clear:

"You can think of it as countless independently growing trees,"

"rather than the roots and leaves of the same tree."

"If one tree dies, the others remain alive."

"As for the 'Main Universe' Thor mentioned..."

"it's just the term he uses for the core Universe with the most complete laws, the most stable history, and the strongest power."

"Then will the Thunder God of the Main Universe be stronger than the one we have here?"

Eric spoke up for once, a question that voiced the doubts in many people's hearts.

"To be honest, I really don't know," Old Loki said, glancing around and speaking truthfully. "After all, I haven't been to the Main Universe and haven't felt if the laws there are stronger than in my Universe. I can't give you that answer."

"Then how is strength categorized in the entire Multiverse? And are there any stable ways to increase one's power?"

Emma decisively asked the topic she was most interested in. This Thunder God Thor, relying on being stronger than her, had provoked her repeatedly, and she couldn't swallow this insult.

She was Emma Frost; how could she be content with being subordinate to others?

Not even if the other party was a god!

"Hmm... there are indeed channels for steadily increasing strength, quite a few in fact. For example, the magicsystem of Kamar-Taj on Earth can provide steady improvement, though it relies heavily on talent."

"Then there's signing contracts with Dimensional Demon Gods to obtain powerful strength, but the price is that your soul belongs to them."

At this point, Old Loki glanced at Madame Hydra, Ophelia. This woman had a very thick aura of a Dimensional Demon God, and a rather powerful one at that. If he remembered correctly, it should be Chthon.

Thinking of this, Old Loki silently cast over a dozen spells on himself, for no other reason than to isolate the perception of these Dimensional Demon Gods.

He didn't want to run into those guys for the time being.

"The third type is the unique heritage belonging to our divine pantheons, such as Asgard, Olympus, and so on."

"The fourth type is the technological modification you are very familiar with, using the power of technology to enhance your physique and grant you powerful abilities. However, this also depends on talent, just like magic, and top scientists who can achieve this are rare in every Universe."

"The fifth type is obtaining abilities through cosmic treasures, such as the Infinity Stones. However, successful cases are few and far between. Most ordinary people's physical constitutions simply cannot withstand the erosion of the stones, let alone gain abilities."

Old Loki paused here. He was getting old and felt a bit tired after speaking. He conjured a cup of tea out of thin air, moistened his throat, and continued.

"You probably can't access these stable ways of becoming stronger right now. After all, as you know, this Land of Nihility we are in is a junkyard."

"Then for us Mutants, is there really no way to get stronger? Are we truly limited by our genetic ceiling?"

Gambit, Remy LeBeau, chimed in. He also really wanted to know if they could still become stronger.

"To be honest, I'm not sure how you Mutants are classified, but I can sense that the energy within the two of you hasn't been fully activated."

Old Loki glanced at Emma and Betsy.

"What about me?"

Gambit, Remy LeBeau, still didn't give up and continued to ask.

"You? Your genetic ceiling is pretty much at the level you are now. There's no room for improvement."

"Well, maybe I can still be a logistics person who livens up the atmosphere on the battlefield, right?"

After getting a definitive answer, Remy felt somewhat dejected and mocked himself.

"How can we completely activate the Mutant genes in our bodies?"

Betsy's curiosity was also piqued upon hearing this.

"You shouldn't ask me that. I'm a magician, not a scientist. Perhaps you should find a brilliant scientist, like Tony Starkor someone similar."

"So who is this Tony? Where can we find him?"

Emma asked.

"If you're lucky, there's a chance you might run into a Tony Stark who was thrown in here. But perhaps you could ask that Captain Hydra, Steve Rogers."

Hearing this, Emma turned her gaze toward Captain Hydra.

Captain Hydra was stunned to hear that familiar name. In his Universe, the two were already mortal enemies, but who told the other to block HYDRA's great cause?

"He is indeed a genius scientist. With him around, he really might be able to help you solve this problem. But we've been in this hellhole for so long and have never encountered a single Tony Stark."

Emma didn't believe Captain Hydra's statement at all. She silently invaded Steve's mind, and after getting the answer she wanted, she didn't speak again.

The others were also each thinking about the methods to increase strength given by Old Loki. For a while, no one spoke, and the environment became quiet.

Suddenly, the air became hot and distorted, and the surrounding temperature began to rise rapidly.

Boom—Sizzle, sizzle—

A scorching wave of flames exploded out of thin air, and sparks danced among the debris of the Land of Nihility.

Three figures stepped quickly out of the shadows: Gamora, a defiant-looking Human Torch wrapped in faint flames, and a girl wearing a blue high-fiber combat suit behind them.

Johnny Storm's gaze swept over the crowd. His tone was aggressive and foul, reeking of gunpowder from the moment he spoke:

"So you're the bunch of misfits who killed Cassandra?"

"You don't look any stronger than me, do you?"
