With Uzumaki Naruto making a huge commotion throughout the village, everyone in Konoha now knew that Bai Ye had shown up, and the news instantly caused an uproar.

"I can't take it anymore. Let's go protest to Hokage-sama. We can lose the Ninja World War, but Bai Ye must die!" someone shouted.

Very quickly, the group grew larger and larger. As more people read the Book of Prophecy, Bai Ye's number of haters kept rising. Before long, hundreds of people had gathered.

Inside the inn, Bai Ye glanced at the crowd and curled his lip. The scene felt oddly familiar—like something he'd seen somewhere before.
"Bai Ye-kun is truly broad-minded, not angry at all."
At that moment, a figure suddenly appeared behind him, wearing a stiff smile on his pale face.
"They're nothing more than weaklings with short lifespans—barely a hundred years if they're lucky. If I wished, I could wipe them out with a wave of my hand. Whether they live or die depends entirely on my mood."
Bai Ye slowly turned around and looked at the pale man in front of him. "Orochimaru, shouldn't you be preparing for your Konoha Crush Plan? What are you doing here?"
Orochimaru gave a cold, twisted smile. "All my plans have already been exposed, even Kabuto was captured by Konoha. The risks are too high. I've given up."
So the contents of the book weren't fully comprehensive after all. Orochimaru studied the youth before him, feeling a strong sense of threat.
Just as he suspected—even though the book never explicitly described Bai Ye fighting, only saying he possessed innate divine strength, infinite stamina, unmatched effectiveness on women, able to handle a hundred girls a night, unstoppable by any number of women…

"Oh? And what makes you think that?" Bai Ye's lips curled slightly.
"Although the book never states it clearly, from the scattered hints, I can conclude that Mister Bai's lifespan far surpasses that of ordinary people," Orochimaru said.
He even suspected Bai Ye might be an Ōtsutsuki. If he weren't unsure whether he could take Bai Ye down, he would've attacked already.
"Well, your guess is correct. Lifespan has never been a problem for me." Bai Ye smiled as he looked at his own lifespan number reaching into the billions. "But the benefits you offer are far too little."
"The crisis you speak of has never been an issue for me." Bai Ye stepped forward slowly. "Did it ever occur to you that I might actually be stronger than all of you combined?"
The next second, Orochimaru's expression changed and he retreated explosively. But after only two steps, a hand landed on his shoulder.
Bai Ye had somehow appeared behind him. "Whether it's you, Uchiha Madara, or the so-called Ōtsutsuki clan, none of you are even worth my attention. If I wished, I could rely on overwhelming force and recreate all the acts I performed in the book."
"The only reason I'm speaking calmly with you now is that I'm not being serious."
As Bai Ye let go, Orochimaru immediately stepped back cautiously. The difference was too great—he hadn't even noticed when Bai Ye moved.
"Seems I overthought it. Bai Ye-kun is far more dangerous than he appears. If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave." Orochimaru turned to slip away, never expecting that the most hidden figure in the entire book was Bai Ye himself.
"Don't be in such a hurry. Our cooperation may still continue," Bai Ye said. "I think your Konoha Crush Plan can still proceed."
"What do you mean?" Orochimaru froze.
"It's simple. Don't you think Konoha has gotten too… urbanized?" Bai Ye smiled. "I won't be staying in this world much longer, so before I leave, I want to fulfill Sasuke Uchiha's wish."
"First kill Uchiha Itachi…Then destroy Konoha."
