Chapter 230 - Spreading Light

America, Ten Thousand Meters Altitude. A Continent, like a rootless duckweed, floated steadily in the sky.

Taking up 22,608 square kilometers and holding several cities, New Jersey was lifted up before the eyes of the world, without any contact with the ground.

Below this Continent, a huge, hollowed-out circular pit, the same size as New Jersey, lay on the American Continent.

At this moment, as long as one looked up, they could see this Dream Island, as if from a fantasy.

What is a Miracle? This is a Miracle!

Even if all of humanity's strength was gathered in one place, they would not be able to move a state this large. Yet, it was lifted up like this.

Countless people watched the floating Continent before them, their lips trembling, unable to speak, thinking they were hallucinating.

But the violent trembling under their feet and the waves of exclamations from those around them made them realize that something big had happened.

Anyone with even a basic understanding of physics knew that if this massive continent were to fall, the impact would be devastating, with mass extinction being a mere side effect.

So why is this happening? Alien invasion? Or perhaps a change in Earth's Magnetic Field… Countless people were puzzled, but the Aliens who shared their thoughts were equally dumbfounded.

In Outer Space, not far from Earth, a luminous object that had been preparing to approach Earth with brute force stopped its advance abruptly upon seeing the massive, visible-to-the-naked-eye Continent.

Zod stared at the Continent floating on the screen with uncertainty, forcibly suppressing his initial plan for a military takeover.

What's going on, are the people on this planet… this technologically advanced? Could this be a show of force, having sensed our approach? It's best to be cautious.

Zod felt a little apprehensive. If this was purely a technological feat by the other side, then his Small Fleet definitely wouldn't be able to conquer it easily.

But then, he realized something was wrong. The Electronic Technology of this world could be easily hacked by his spacecraft. Could it be that another advanced civilization had taken an interest in this place?

After several considerations, Zod decided to wait and see, the situation was too bizarre.

And at this moment, the changes on the American Continent had almost driven human society crazy. Watching the huge land floating in the sky, everyone wanted to figure out what was going on.

"What do you think, a Miracle!" Bai Ye used his position to make the land under his feet float, a smile on his face. "Next, let them know our demands."

"Rumble!"

Under the ten thousand meters altitude land, a Giant purely made of soil rose from the ground under their feet, carrying the two of them standing on the earth of Gotham City.

After this obvious landmark appeared, human governments could easily see the two men standing on the head of the Giant made of soil.

"Mortals of this planet, this is the Miracle I show you."

"From today on, I will bring you infinite light as a god."

Bai Ye opened his hands, delivering a speech to countless satellites. While speaking, the large area of soil behind him kept changing shape, combining into various languages to convey his meaning to the world.

Just freed from his restraints, Batman stared at the constantly shifting text on the satellite screen, falling silent. He realized he had indeed underestimated the young man's power.

Thinking back to their previous conversation, and the words about punishing humanity as a god, now, possessing such strength was no different from a god for humanity.

"Change the world, huh..." Batman murmured to himself.

"From this moment forward, I declare that I will directly replace the power of your planet's governing bodies to manage you all. I will make a world free of war and crime, hunger and violence. Every one of you will enter a harmonious Utopia under my management!"

Bai Ye issued his campaign declaration to the whole world, but regardless of whether anyone supported him, he would still take power.

And with the release of this campaign declaration, everyone knew that the Continent's levitation wasn't some natural phenomenon, but rather a self-proclaimed god, a sapient being.

What made them most despairing was that this being with extremely strong martial power was preparing to rule them...

Facing a monster that could influence the Continent, those determined to resist began to pray in their hearts. Bai Ye was a Mage with powerful superpowers.

It was just that, although his abilities were very strong, his body was very fragile.

That might give them a fighting chance.

In the White House, the President urgently contacted various countries, but no matter how they discussed it, they couldn't come up with an effective solution.

Beside him, one of the Think Tank members said, "Mr. President, the situation is dire. If the enemy is too strong, we won't be able to defeat them."

"And if that young man is a Mage with a distorted development, defeating him might lead to even worse consequences. We'll also need to consider the large Continent above us that will fall without his ability to support it."

"So, surrendering might be the best option, at least for the survival of all humanity?" The President asked back, somewhat absurdly.

"From a purely rational standpoint, that's correct, but the final decision is still yours." The expert said.

While the humans below were seriously discussing, a helicopter carrying reporters flew towards them, a news organization eager to get the first interview footage.

"Mr. God, may I ask you a few questions?" The reporter asked, shouting over the wind as the helicopter approached in the Ten Thousand Meters Altitude.

"No problem. What do you want to ask?" Bai Ye sat on top of the Giant's head, looking incredibly relaxed.

He felt like he was on vacation wherever he went, so he was in no hurry at all. Answering a few questions was a trivial matter.

"First, your identities, and why you want to rule here."

The reporter held out the microphone, broadcasting the scene to the outside world. This hot news immediately attracted countless viewers, many of whom wanted to glean information.

"Our identities? He's Gavin, a native of Gotham City, and I'm here on vacation from another universe. Because Gavin asked, and I was also interested, I decided to rule you guys and spread the Gospel."

Bai Ye answered the reporter's questions truthfully, leaving countless people in front of their televisions with mixed feelings.

Vacation? Then casually rule this planet? This statement was too casual.

The reporter was speechless after Bai Ye's statement and could only adjust their mindset and continue, "So, how do you plan to deal with the original government?"

"How do I see it? Even though I am a god, I can't possibly do everything myself. The original structure should remain as it is. At most, I'll revise some laws."
