"Sis, what are you doing?"
"Little sis, why did you bring Dad to this room?"
Jiang Lai gave them a look.
"You'll know tomorrow morning. Go to sleep."
The next morning, Jiang Lai got up early and stood outside Jiang Hai's room, waiting. She caught Shen Yan sneakingly opening the door a crack, looking around cautiously before suddenly spotting Jiang Lai standing in the corner.
"You scared the hell out of me, you brat!"
Jiang Lai leaned against the wall, smiling slowly.
"Mom, what are you doing? Isn't your room in the back?"
"You still know I'm your mom! I'm your mom, why can't I share a room with your dad!"
Shen Yan always raises her voice when she's guilty.
The sharper her voice, the guiltier she feels.
It's quite entertaining.
Jiang Lai peeked inside.
"Where's my dad?"
Shen Yan's eyes shifted as she replied directly.
"Your dad's in the room, where else could he be! Go make some porridge, I'm hungry."
Jiang Lai stood still.
