John's class allowed him to sense what he liked to call a person's level of importance. Alex was a king. If John managed to steal from someone of such a high level, the amount of experience he would gain would be significant.
It didn't matter what he stole. Once he took something from him, he would level up. Thanks to Félix calling Alex "Your Majesty," John had learned Alex's class.

John used the two abilities to sneak closer to Alex's position. His Stealth allowed him to conceal his tracks. Anyone with a Perception attribute below eighty points would never notice him.
His Lesser Invisibility, as the name suggested, allowed him to remain unseen for only a short period.
Zero Touch Lv2.
Knowing Alex was some kind of genius, John decided not to underestimate him and activated one more ability.
