Chapter 312 - Chapter 312 Plan

At the banquet, the three schools gathered in the Great Hall. Oh, Fudge wasn't there; it was said he rushed back to the Ministry of Magic to contend with Barty Crouch.

Ludo Bagman was also missing; it was rumored he had bet on the wrong horse and had now fled to Africa.

Not a single person from the Ministry of Magic could be found in the vast Great Hall, but that was for the best.

Kayson sat at the faculty table, watching Cedric laboriously lift the golden trophy, which Kayson had retrieved from the graveyard.

The Diggory couple also sat at the Hufflepuff long table, proudly applauding their son as if they were insane.

As the banquet ended, Hogwarts returned to peace, albeit temporarily.

The other two schools had fled in their own ways.

Oh, of course, half of them had fled. Karkaroff, somehow shamelessly, forced himself to stay at Hogwarts, refusing to leave.

He almost moved his bed into the Headmasters office to become roommates with Dumbledore and Grindelwald.

But in the end, it didn't happen, and he didn't know why.

And at this moment in the office, Kayson sat on the sofa, watching Snape, who was sitting opposite the Headmaster's desk, chatting with Dumbledore.

Well, it wasn't really a chat; it should be described as receiving orders.

Dumbledore unilaterally issued orders to Snape, and Snape chose to accept them.

Soon, their conversation ended, and Snape looked at Kayson again: "If I die, let Harley be Harley for life."

Kayson couldn't help but laugh: "So the effect of that thing is really permanent, huh?"

Snape shook his head: "That's not it, but you made him drink it by the bottle when it should have been by the microgram. If it's not permanent, it's close enough."

"You didn't say that much back then," Kayson said, trying to make amends a little awkwardly.

"I remember I gave you an instruction manual, and I even gave you a pipette as a friendly gesture," Snape said calmly.

"Okay, okay, if you die, it's not impossible for Harry to be Harley for life... Leave a pearl before you go." Kayson suddenly changed the subject mid-sentence.

"No need. If I really die, then the Dark Lord's will will still contain the erroneous information and ideas I instilled in him. But if I don't die in the end and escape back, then all the information I previously fed him will be instantly overturned by him."

"As a spy, one must die as a loyal spy," Snape finally said.

"Then I wish you well." Kayson walked over, hugged Snape, and patted his back hard.

"It's a pity I can't make a Totem of Undying," he said helplessly.

"You keep that thing for yourself," Snape said.

"Uh-huh."

As Snape transformed into black smoke and flew out the window, the Headmasters office's next guest, Karkaroff, walked in.

"Dumbledore, you must protect me," Karkaroff said, swallowing hard.

"Hmm..." Dumbledore glanced at Karkaroff: "As a belated Death Eater, how about it?"

Karkaroff was almost begging, nearly kneeling: "He will torture me..."

"Torture is better than death, isn't it?" Dumbledore replied.

"Do I have a second choice?" Karkaroff asked, looking at Dumbledore with fear.

"It's just a few Cruciatus Curses; it shouldn't be much for you, after all, you used that spell quite a lot back then," Dumbledore said, glancing at Karkaroff.

"I really didn't..." Karkaroff looked at everyone in the office.

"You can also choose to die." Dumbledore directly pulled out the Elder Wand.

"Both choices are death," Karkaroff said, trembling.

"No, you can exchange your life with Lord Voldemort for a valuable piece of information: Severus Snape is a double agent, but now I have realized he is not loyal to me. Now you can use this information to exchange your life with Lord Voldemort."

"What... what does this mean?" Karkaroff asked.

"Snape is the only one who knows you are mine, and I have now confirmed that his true loyalty is to Lord Voldemort. So you can tell Lord Voldemort a lie, make Lord Voldemort kill Snape, and you will naturally be a great contributor."

Karkaroff's eyes darted around, and he loudly exclaimed: "I'll go!"

"Shall we see you off?" Dumbledore asked.

"No need." Karkaroff left the Headmasters office, his legs trembling.

And just as Snape, who had just left the Headmasters office with a flying spell, appeared in the Headmasters office once again.

"I've already thought about what to say, but I need to delete some of your conversations. The Dark Lord might send me back to Hogwarts as a spy... You said a bit too much," he said calmly.

"I'm not a professional in this area, after all. You should leave quickly; you can still catch up with him," Dumbledore said helplessly.

"Hmm."

Kayson, sitting on the sofa, once again sighed at how dirty the hearts of these strategists were, but it was indeed useful. Treating Karkaroff as Snape's loyal card pack, using Karkaroff's life to increase Snape's safety value, was very practical.

However, as Snape left once again, he also started to feel bored sitting on the sofa.

After all, Dumbledore just sat at his desk without speaking after arranging two matters in this small office.

It made him, who had been summoned here, look like a fool.

"So, there's no task for me?" Kayson said dryly.

"... I'm thinking, what if those two untrustworthy politicians reach some strange agreement and both act against Hogwarts?" Dumbledore said.

"I understand Fudge, but will Barty Crouch do that too?"

"Fudge can even say that turning hostile is a politician's most basic trait. Can't Barty Crouch do it? Triangles have stability. Let's add one more person to the Ministry of Magic. How about Scrimgeour? Head of the Auror Office?" Dumbledore said, handing a letter he had already prepared to Kayson.

"So you made me sit here for so long just to deliver a letter..." Kayson pouted.

"And to make you deeply understand our plan. This is a deeper level of trust," Dumbledore explained.

"Alright, I'm going."

.....

The next day, Kayson returned to the office after delivering the letter and sighed helplessly.

"So, this is why you two slept in this cage for a night?"
