Chapter 31 - The Meeting

"Well, it seems there's nothing left to do but two," said three.

"Hmph..." sighed two.

"Well, how about we don't meet up with the others when we leave," said three.

"Well, that seems like the right thing to do," said two.

"There's nothing left to do," thought Two.

"JULIUS! ISACK!" shouted Two.

"Come here, we're not leaving yet!" shouted Two.

"Okay," said Isack.

"Well, it seems like everything is fine now," said Julius.

"They won't do anything to us," said Aiko.

"Because we weren't their target," said Two.

"Besides, I think this is over now," said Two.

"I see, you can hear the ambulance sirens too, right?" said Aiko.

"Yes, even though we're in the basement, you can hear a lot of them. It seems like a lot of people have arrived," said Two.

"Well, we'd better leave before the authorities arrive," said Three.

"Hey, Julius, please use your ability to get us out of here," said Three.

"Okay, I'm coming," said Julius, placing his hand on the floor.

"Okay, we're leaving. Here we go," said Three.

Two, Three, Isack, and Julius sink into the floor and disappear below. Aiko sees them and just sighs and grabs Mogi. Draken gets up and stretches a little to flex.

"Well, we're leaving too," said Aiko.

"Hey, Miss Aiko, I think Akutagawa is badly injured," said Rebecca.

"Why did you grab him so carelessly?" said Rebecca.

"What are you saying? Don't you believe I'm capable of carrying someone?" shouted Aiko at Rebecca, annoyed.

"Oh! I'm sorry, Miss Aiko," said Rebecca, bowing.

"Well, everyone is leaving now," said Hana.

"You'd better leave now," said Aron.

"Well, it looks like you're not very smart, my friend," said Hana.

"What do you mean?" asked Aron.

"Look, the imperial artifact has been destroyed," replied Hana.

"It's obvious that there might be something wrong," said Hana.

"Actually, you're wrong. There's nothing there," said a voice.

"What the hell? But you're not the guy with the stitched face," said Aron.

Out of nowhere, Mishiro appeared behind them and quickly punched Aron, sending him crashing into a wall. Aron was knocked unconscious, and Hana was surprised by what Mishiro had done.

"Damn it, just now," said Hana.

Mishiro tries to attack Hana, but she dodges him and moves away from Mishiro, grabbing Aron by the shirt, then slams him into a wall and destroys it.

"Well, I'm busy, so this ends here," said Hana, leaving with Aron in her hand.

"Well, see you later, bastard," said Aiko, leaving with the others through the same hole Hana made.

"What a mess, don't you think, Safario?" said Mishiro.

"Completely fascinating," said Safario.

"Too bad Wakushi died before seeing the potential of that weapon," said Safario.

"Hey, how did you manage to separate yourself from the others?" said Mishiro.

"I just told them I was going to do something and that I'd be back later, then I used my ability to come here," said Safario.

"And how did you do it?" said Safario.

"Well, I just hid, and I think Taujima thinks I'm still outside," said Mishiro.

"Wow, Mishiro, how sinister," said Safario.

Mishiro and Safario leave the place later, while Dos, Tres, Isack, and Julius come out and meet up with the others who left just then.

Meanwhile, outside, Hana also leaves an unconscious Aron on a rooftop, leaving him there, then reunites with Rion and Amane, who also left a while ago because they felt a tremor.

Meanwhile, in an alleyway, Draken, Aiko, Rebecca, and an unconscious Mogi are being carried on Draken's back as he walks. Aiko takes out a cigarette, lights it, and puts it in her mouth.

Returning to Two, Three, and the others, they are outside hiding among the crowd. Then a car honks, and they all turn around to see Six inside, who sees them.

"Wow, you guys look pretty beat up," said Six.

"What happened to you, Nine? Did the bogeyman take your arm or something?" said Six mockingly.

"Shut up, bitch," said Nine.

"Well, looking at you guys now, we can't all leave," said Six.

"Why?" asked Three.

"Can't you see we're too many idiots?" said Six.

"Well, that's true," said Three.

"Wait, I'll fix it," said Five, walking away.

"Hey, where are you going?" said Six.

Five runs through the streets and finds a guy with a minivan. Five quickly gets behind him and knocks him out with a blow to the back of the neck.

The guy falls unconscious, and Five takes the keys to the minivan, but decides to push it instead of driving it since he doesn't know how to drive.

After a while, the others see a minivan approaching with Five pushing it behind it. The others think what he's doing is strange.

"Hey, why didn't you just drive it?" said Three, approaching him.

"I don't know how to drive, you idiot. I don't even have a driver's license," said Five.

"Right, I forgot you're not old enough for your license yet," said Three, tapping his forehead with his fingers.

"Wait, but you don't need a license as long as you know how to drive!" shouted Three, pointing at him.

"It's not like you're Toretto, you idiot," said Five.

"Fast and Furious is good, don't insult it," said Three.

"Second, don't use your age as an excuse, just ask one of us to teach you, you idiot!" shouted Three.

"Calm down, you two," said Seven, approaching them.

"Hey, Six, I think we can leave now and..." said Seven, watching Six get out of the car.

Six then used his ability and put some bombs inside the car, then quickly moved away and the car exploded, while everyone watched and Seven remained silent.

"Why did you do that?" said Seven with a drop of sweat running down his forehead.

"To eliminate evidence," said Six.

"That doesn't make sense, but okay, I'll drive," said Seven.

"Pass me the keys, Five," said Seven.

"Here, take them, and don't listen to this idiot," said Five.

"Hey, I'm not finished talking to you, you ignorant fool!" said Three.

"Everyone get in, we have to go get the others," said Seven.

"Okay," said the others, getting into the minivan. Julius was the only one who sat in the front; everyone else sat in the back.

"Seven, we have to go to a hospital. The others are there," said Nine.

"How do you know that?" said Seven.

"I told someone to take them," said Nine.

"I guess it was a hospital near here," said Seven.

Seven drove around the area and arrived at a hospital nearby. He parked in the parking lot, then Seven turned around.

"Well, one of us will have to go," said Seven.

"Why don't you go?" said Three.

"Because we all look suspicious, don't you see?" said Seven.

"Right, the one in the best condition should go," said Three.

"Hmph..." Everyone started looking at Three.

"You want me to go, don't you?" said Three.

"Damn, this is what I get for not specifying what I said," thought Three, already outside the minivan.

Three enters the hospital and takes off his suit, leaving it tied around his waist, then goes to the reception desk and stands in front of it.

"Hey, hello, miss, do you happen to have a man and two women here?" said Three.

"If you're looking for those people, then tell one of them to stop screaming. They were just treating him," said the receptionist.

"Well, I guess that's ten," thought Three.

"What room are they in?" said Three.

"Room two hundred and twenty," said the receptionist.

"Thank you very much," said Three, walking down the hallways.

"Oops... sorry, excuse me," said Three, bumping into someone.

Meanwhile, outside, the others in the minivan are playing cards while they wait for Three to come out with the others.

"Does anyone have a king?" asked Four.

"No!" said the others.

"Wait, I have one," said Two, throwing it down.

"Hey, do you guys know what happened to the slaves that Three freed?" said Four as he grabbed the card.

"Well, from what I heard, the ambulance came for them because someone called," said Two.

"A civilian saw them and called emergency services because of their injuries," said Two as he played.

"I see," said Four.

"Speak of the devil," said Seven, turning his head.

"I swear I'll kill that guy if I ever see him again!" shouted Ten right at the exit door.

"That guy sure knows how to cause a scene," said Five.

"Well, it makes perfect sense that Isack is in his section," said Julius.

"Shut up, everyone's looking at us," said Eight.

"Ah... I feel so nervous," thought Vell.

"Mr. Ten, I think you should..." said Vell.

"Shut up, girl! Can't you see I'm in the middle of an important monologue!" shouted Ten at Vell for speaking.

"Ah... I'm sorry, I'm sorry," said Vell, bowing several times.

"Don't bow to him," said Eight.

"Hey, calm down, we're fine now," said Three.

"Let's just keep walking," said Three.

"Well, you guys seem to be having fun," said Four.

"Shut up, you don't know how we were!" shouted Ten.

"Just get in, we have to report what happened," said Four.

Everyone gets into the minivan and Seven drives through the streets toward the agency. They drive for a long time on the highway while some of them play cards.

Three plays a joke on Nine by removing his arm and showing it to him, then saying that now they are equal because of their missing arms. Nine gets angry and hits him. Everyone sees it and thinks he's an idiot.

They spend more hours on the road and everyone is bored except Ikuren, who is playing on a portable console. Then they cross a bridge and Three starts juggling two axes he brought with him.

Finally, after hours on the road, they arrive at the agency, enter the entrance, and get out of the minivan, which Six then destroys.

A huge explosion occurs behind them as they walk forward, while seven, four, ten, and six light up cigarettes to smoke as they walk.

Inside the agency, a figure can be seen standing behind the executives while they are talking, and that figure is drinking water and sighing at the boring conversation that is taking place right there at that moment.
