Now, Evelin was going to bathe within the purification pool, and if everything went according to plan, she would successfully restore her degraded bloodline to the original pure Sun Moon Elf Bloodline. This would also transform her talent into the ancient Sun Moon talent that had been lost for generations.
What exactly was the Sun Moon talent? The Sun aspect represented life itself, vital energy, brilliant light, and overwhelming power. The Moon aspect represented death and endings, reflected light, finality, and the complete absence of energy. Whoever their ancient ancestor had been must have wished for the ability to control all of those fundamental opposing forces, thereby birthing the incredibly powerful Sun Moon Talent through their desire.
But over countless generations, the pure talent being passed down through their ancestors' bloodline had gradually weakened and split into two separate inferior versions—Starlight talent and Moonlight talent.
The Starlight talent focused primarily on channeling the overwhelming, destructive power and intense light of the sun to create devastating offensive attacks. Meanwhile, the Moonlight talent focused mainly on channeling those contrasting lunar elements into attacks that carried death and draining attributes instead.
"I need to go home," Seth said suddenly, not liking this extended time away from Earth at all. Well, if he was being completely honest with himself, it was more specifically time away from Chu Yin that was bothering him. Self-pleasure wasn't cutting it anymore, wasn't satisfying him the way it used to. And with how persistently Evelin had been throwing obvious signs and signals at him, he genuinely didn't know how much longer he could hold himself together before he did something he would deeply regret later.
Honestly, if not for his extremely high level of willpower that he'd developed through the [Survival] skill, he was absolutely sure he would be irritable and moody all the time. He didn't fully understand why, but something about Chu Yin's body specifically just made self-pleasure not feel remotely the same way it used to feel before meeting her. Maybe he should have rejected her advances from the beginning. Wasn't this developing dependency a significant weakness?
"People of the Sun Empire!" Ray called out powerfully while floating high in the sky above the gathered crowds, preparing to address his newly united subjects.
But Seth didn't bother staying back to hear how Ray was going to deliver his grand, inspiring speech about how their ancient bloodline could finally return to its former glory after generations of degradation.
After this momentous reunion, Ray would need to slowly and carefully find a way to deal with the powerful figures above him in the hierarchy. This entire galaxy was currently governed by a group of incredibly powerful elves that ruled vast territories. The land they controlled today was absolutely nothing compared to the former overwhelming glory of the ancient Sun Moon Empire at its peak.
Back in those legendary times, this entire galaxy had been divided amongst all of the SSS tier talent holders who competed for dominance. But over countless generations, those great powers had gradually disappeared through war, time, and entropy, leaving behind only the three major factions that existed today.
Now, they managed this relatively small corner of a single planet—a huge and tragic cry from the massive galactic scale they used to rule over with absolute authority.
But Ray already had an answer prepared for this seemingly impossible challenge. Evelin would leave with Seth when he returned to Earth.
The current generation could die and be completely erased from history without much consequence, but Evelin represented the genuine hope of their entire race to return to their former glory and power. So at all costs, no matter what sacrifices were required, she had to successfully marry Seth and bind him to their people through blood ties.
But Seth was an intensely loyal man by nature. Such a betrayal of his relationship shall never fall upon him, no matter what temptations were placed in his path.

[Nexus Barrier (2/5)] - A passive defense ability that has a total of 4 main distinct abilities, which shall reveal themselves progressively as this skill is leveled up through use and mastery.
At level one, you gained the ability called Infinity. At the cost of substantial mana consumption, you can infinitely divide the space between yourself and any target, making all attacks appear as if they pause and freeze upon nearing you. Since no matter how many times you divide a number approaching zero, you can never actually reach absolute zero, this fundamental principle ensures nothing can ever physically reach you.
At level two, you have now gained the ability called Vector Control. With this new capability, all incoming attacks, various forms of energy, and even directional vectors shall be automatically reflected and sent back toward the original attacker or redirected toward anyone you consciously wish to hit instead. Note that attacks, enemies, and other unknown phenomena you have never previously met or understood shall initially bypass this defense. But once you face any particular threat even once, it shall not be able to affect you for the second time. This means that emotion-affecting skills, spiritual attacks, soul attacks, and other such esoteric abilities can potentially affect you the first time you encounter them. However, the second time around, you become completely immune to that specific type of attack.

Seth carefully studied the detailed information about his skills displayed before him. Nexus Barrier was an absolutely overpowered ability that seemed to have almost no weaknesses. When combined with his enhanced eyes, which could even visually perceive normally invisible things like telekinesis being actively used, what unknown threats could possibly affect him anymore?
Reality warping, perhaps? Maybe that could work. Seth honestly didn't know for certain if his barrier was fundamentally strong enough to defend him against something operating on such a huge conceptual scale that it could alter the very fabric of reality itself.
Reality Warping was essentially the ability to take direct control of the plot itself, like having the power of an author over a story. Just picture having the capability to completely erase someone from existence within a narrative, or rewriting a person's entire skill set from scratch. That was precisely how overwhelmingly overpowered Reality Warpers truly were as opponents. But it wouldn't be very long until he was no longer scared of even them.
The third ability he would eventually unlock would grant him the power to completely ignore the effects of reality being rewritten and everything that came along with such fundamental alterations. Because this was the ultimate and most overpowered defensive barrier concept that could possibly exist.
But Seth was thoroughly bored now, despite all his power. Thanks to his skill [Survival] and the brutal training he'd put himself through, his willpower had reached an absolutely unmatched level that seemed almost inhuman. Seth had abused and pushed that skill to such an extreme degree that the skill could no longer increase his willpower any further, even after the skill had reached its maximum level 5. His willpower was so overwhelmingly powerful that it had actually increased his combat power just from sheer mental fortitude alone.
Seth honestly hoped that somewhere out there, someone had wished for One Piece abilities so he could potentially acquire Haki or something similar from them. He couldn't help but picture himself wielding Conqueror's Haki and dominating battlefields with pure willpower.
But right now, he had absolutely nothing meaningful to do with his time. At every single second that passed, his new cursed armor that he'd had specially created for him was continuously destroying his body at a cellular level. Meanwhile, his passive regeneration ability was simultaneously healing him at an equal rate, leading to his combat power increasing bit by bit without any conscious effort. So he didn't even need to actively train anymore—he was growing stronger just by existing.
Thinking for some time about how to pass the hours, Seth pulled out a skill crystal he had obtained from the conquered Sun Empire's treasury.
[S-Tier Crystal] - This crystal holds the skill [Ultra High Recovery]. This powerful skill allows the user to heal at extreme speeds, to the point that even bone-deep injuries can heal completely in less than a single second. At level 5 mastery, the user could theoretically recover and regenerate their entire body after being reduced to nothing but a single drop of blood. Even severe mental damage and soul damage would be healed automatically. It also provided a slight passive increase in one's overall strength since the healing process doesn't simply revert the body to its previous state, but truly heals and strengthens it beyond what it was before.
Seth casually tossed the crystal into his mouth and swallowed it, absorbing its power instantly. With a single focused thought, he commanded his cursed armor to begin destroying his body at an even faster and more aggressive rate than before. This caused his combat power to suddenly start increasing at a noticeably higher rate as he healed while his body was simultaneously being destroyed in a brutal cycle. At the same time, the [Ultra High Recovery] skill would level up quickly from the constant use, meaning he could push the curse's destructive power to become even stronger without killing himself.
"Of Course, I don't have wifi connection here," Seth muttered to himself while pulling out his phone from his pocket to check...
