"Turtles! I saw four giant turtles, and they can talk!" Pietro responded excitedly.
"Turtles? Leonardo and Michelangelo?" Li Qingyuan asked instinctively.
Earlier, during the subway kidnapping, he had felt that scene was somewhat familiar, but he hadn't paid it much attention.
After all, this was the main world. In the mission worlds, he could cause as much chaos as he liked, and once the task was done, he could just leave. But in the main world, caution was necessary.
Hidden heavyweights in the Marvel world were countless. Even though some world-ending big BOSSes were cut from the MCU due to budget, who could be certain?

Later, a movie studio had apparently tried to cash in on nostalgia by making a live-action Ninja Turtles film, but the plot was terrible, and both reviews and box office flopped—so he never watched it.
At first, because this was the Marvel world, Li Qingyuan hadn't realized those four turtles were the famous heroes, assuming they were some unknown street-level heroes.
But now it made sense!
Four turtles living in the sewers of New York, whose rise to fame predates most of the Marvel movies.
Forget claims that Marvel Comics started during WWII—before Iron Man, Marvel was so broke they barely had pants, and hardly anyone knew about it.
By that measure, the Ninja Turtles were definitely old-timers.
So it made perfect sense for the turtles to be in New York.
"You know those turtles?" Pietro didn't seem fazed, but April grabbed Li Qingyuan's hand eagerly, her eyes sparkling.
She had just overheard the turtles calling each other names—she thought she heard Leonardo and Michelangelo.
She had assumed only she and the kid would know, but to her surprise, the boy's parent seemed preternaturally aware.
"Let go of my brother!" Wanda rushed in, displeased, yanking April's hands off Li Qingyuan.
Earlier, she had clearly heard everything in the living room. This foxy reporter had not only kidnapped Pietro but now was trying to flirt with Li Qingyuan. Shameless!
"Is this your sister?" April looked at the three in front of her, puzzled.
Once Li Qingyuan realized the Ninja Turtles connection, he instantly remembered who this female reporter was.
Though the live-action Ninja Turtles films were terrible, he had at least heard of the lead actress: Megan Fox's character, April O'Neil, the same actress who became famous from Transformers.
Honestly, though everyone raved about her beauty, Li Qingyuan wasn't impressed.
Compared to other beautiful women, April's features were smaller, her figure ordinary—maybe an 8/10 at best. Even Wanda seemed more striking.
Why so many were infatuated with her? Perhaps it was an East-West aesthetic difference.
Still, not appreciating her beauty didn't stop him from collecting data.
In this day and age, who says you need love to enjoy collecting?
Judging by Wanda's expression, she clearly disliked this reporter who had tried to steal Pietro, so Li Qingyuan decided soothing Wanda first was wise.
"Alright, let's go home. We still have class tomorrow." He patted Wanda's head gently.
"Sir! Sir!" April chased after them, still brimming with questions. She wasn't going to let them leave easily.
Seeing April's persistence, Wanda angrily kicked her to the ground.
"Uh, Wanda, hitting people isn't right!" Pietro exclaimed, concerned for the pretty older girl, forgetting the pain in his own head.
"If you say another word, I'll hit you too!" Wanda glared at him.
"I… I'll be quiet…" Pietro quickly hugged his head, not daring to speak.
"Sir!"
April, exhibiting the tenacity of a true New York reporter, scrambled up and chased them again.
A single kick meant nothing. As long as she could dig up this scoop, she would immediately become the most famous reporter in New York—or the whole of America!
Compared to instant fame, being kicked or beaten was worth it.
"Big brother!" Wanda pleaded, looking up at Li Qingyuan with sparkling eyes.
She knew she was too small and weak to stop April herself. The only way was to rely on Li Qingyuan's power.
"Got it!" Seeing Wanda's expression, Li Qingyuan waved gently.
Snap!
April fell face-first, limbs spread wide. Somehow the curtain had wrapped around her ankles.
"Sir… don't go…" Even with a bloody nose, April tried to raise her head, shouting after them.
Bang!
The only reply was the cold closing of the door. They had left without a backward glance.
"Was that really okay? Will she be hurt?" Pietro looked back from the car.
Creek!
Wanda clutched her little fists in frustration. Pietro was clearly too soft-hearted.
Even Li Qingyuan frowned. If he remembered correctly, Pietro was only eleven.
So young, yet already so caring—was he a reincarnation of Crayon Shin-chan?
