"This is the newest field emitter?" Standing in the ocean, Claire asked excitedly.
When choosing a location earlier, Li Qingyuan had deliberately picked a spot on the cliff near the coast, so when the Umbrella army advanced on them, he simply took the two women and jumped straight into the sea.
In fact, Wesker had long anticipated that the enemy might escape into the water, so he had deployed three destroyers and a submarine to completely seal off the area. No matter what kind of transportation the enemy used, they would never slip out.

"All right, move faster. Even with seawater blocking it, a shockwave is no joke." Seeing that the two women wanted to crouch down and study it carefully, Li Qingyuan hurriedly pushed them forward.
If this were the authentic Poseidon Trident, it might be able to withstand a nuclear blast. But the one in his hand was just a toy version—definitely not something he wanted to bet his life on.
Thinking of the nuclear warhead left inside the base, the two women finally sped up. The three of them sprinted rapidly along the ocean floor.
"Sir, we've found the enemy's hiding spot!" Meanwhile, Ada Wong also began reporting to Wesker.
The soldiers on land had followed the network cables and discovered the underground base, and were currently trying to locate the entrance.

Umbrella releasing the T-virus to "cleanse" the planet was merely intended to wipe out useless, worthless riffraff. It wouldn't actually damage the Earth's ecological system much at all.
But look at this now!
Some unknown bastard was casually throwing mushroom clouds everywhere. Were they planning to drag the whole planet down with them?
How vicious could one person be?!
"There's a strange energy reading!" the Red Queen suddenly jumped forward and announced.
"He's throwing nuclear bombs again?" Wesker asked without even raising his head.
He couldn't help it—he was too tired.
"It's not a nuclear bomb. It's a tsunami!" The Red Queen responded quickly.
"How is that possible?" Wesker lifted his head. The central display was now nothing but blurred blue—an enormous wave nearly a hundred meters tall had risen out of the ocean.
"Retreat! Retreat! Everyone retreat immediately!" Wesker shouted.
Of course, even without his command, the surviving soldiers were already running for their lives. Faced with a force of nature like this, even the heaviest armored vehicles couldn't offer the slightest sense of safety.
A tsunami nearly a hundred meters tall—no matter what vehicle you were in—once swept up, survival was impossible!
As for the warships and submarines docked along the coast—they were the first to be hit, swept away who knew where.
Ordinarily, a submarine submerged on the seabed should be the safest place in a tsunami. But this tsunami was man-made by Li Qingyuan. Naturally, he wasn't about to let that submarine escape unharmed.
All he needed was to nudge the currents slightly, crash the submarine into an undersea reef or two—and everything would be solved.

And after witnessing Monster Alice's unreasonable psychic attacks, the two women had tacitly stopped questioning certain "superpower-like" things about him.
But this—this scene before their eyes—had already gone far beyond their understanding!
The power of nature… the might of heaven and earth… that kind of power should belong only to gods.
If Umbrella had the ability to control the oceans, they wouldn't need to bother with the T-virus apocalypse at all—they could simply recreate the biblical Great Flood.
"Of course. Don't you know who your man is?" Li Qingyuan's arms were weak, but he maintained a confident face.
This toy-version trident was actually quite limited in strength. The only reason he was able to generate such a massive tsunami was because the earlier nuclear blast had caused oceanic turbulence, and he had borrowed all that energy.
Normally, it could only produce waves maybe twenty or thirty meters high—good enough for showing off, but absolutely not enough to wipe out Umbrella's entire ground army.
Even now, having borrowed the nuclear blast's power to create a hundred-meter wave, he still couldn't precisely control its path. He could only guide it slightly so it crashed in the general direction of the fleeing soldiers.
As for those soldiers who helped evil do evil—Li Qingyuan felt no sympathy whatsoever. The more dead, the better.
…But wait, wasn't he forgetting something?
Even if the armored vehicles below floored the gas pedals hard enough to break them, faced with a super-tsunami stretching nearly a hundred meters high and dozens of kilometers wide, all resistance was futile.

With a world-shattering roar, the disaster-class wave smashed onto the coastline. The explosive force unleashed was comparable to detonating a dozen small nuclear bombs at once.

Jill and Claire exchanged a look, then stepped behind him.
"What are you two doing? I'm warning you, I'm not afraid of you!" Noticing the dangerous glint in their eyes, Li Qingyuan immediately took two steps back.
"I think you must have a lot you need to tell us now," Jill said with a light smile, grabbing hold of his weakness.
"I think so too." Claire, no longer bothering with modesty, helped Jill tackle him to the ground.
After witnessing something like this, if they didn't get answers, they felt they might be driven mad by curiosity.
