Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Fourteen's Plan (End of Volume 1)

Were you wondering why she didn't resist letting Wakamo lift her mask like that?

Well, simply put, it's because Wakamo isn't someone who would suddenly put her face out into the world through social media.

Perhaps if it were another person who is more connected to the Internet... Chiaki, for example, would then have her face trending in just a couple of hours.

But that's the thing. Wakamo has no friends...

Even if she did spread rumors, nobody would trust her, right?

Well, no one except maybe Sensei. That girl was weirdly obsessed with being on the students' sides after all.

The good or the bad, any student, in her eyes, is still a student in the end.

It was quite a respectful ideology.

Plus, Akuta didn't want 'Fourteen' to be a loner; maybe a relationship or two wouldn't hurt to have in the real world.

Akuta had changed her clothes back to her original ones, without the military clothing, and even her cape was stored somewhere.

She could treat 'Fourteen' as a kind of backup plan in the real world in case she ran out of Points in the future...

[Bond: Fourteen

Kosaka Wakamo: 84]

...Yeah, that shit had just risen like a fucking rocket launched by NASA.

As she was fighting Wakamo, her gaze would occasionally linger on the Bond page as she watched a new name and a number appear next to it.

In this case, Kosaka Wakamo's bond with her seemed a bit... how to say this, unnatural?

Did she fall in love at first sight or something? Hell, Kasuka's relationship with the Arius Squad hasn't even broken through the 80's!

Mind you, that was after 2 whole months of constant hard work she put out!

A single glance at her face was enough for Wakamo's bond level to jump to 84...

Was Kasuka's progress a bum?

Or is Wakamo a special case...?

"Haha..." Laughing helplessly at the thought, Akuta walked through the D.U now that the main cause of the riot had escaped the scene.

And at first glance, she could easily tell that the people causing havoc seemed to have been reduced by a massive percentage.

Does that mean Sensei has already regained control over the Shittim Chest? Has she met Arona yet?

Although it was a shame she couldn't witness it first hand, this wasn't something she could simply put her interest first for.

The Shittim Chest is an artifact left behind by the Student Council's President before her disappearance. Without it, nobody would have the authority to affirm the creation of a new club or even control the Sanctum Tower.

Speaking of which, Akuta suddenly realized the reason why she didn't know previously that she was in the prologue of the game.

It was because the news of the President's disappearance had yet to spread to the outskirts.

In fact, the news was probably suppressed by the Student Council to prevent the more... extreme part of Kivotos from showing their hands.

Though the news would inadvertently spread in the future, the time for it to do so isn't now. Perhaps after the riot calms down, it would finally be safe for the public to know.

Or, right as Sensei claims the highest authority of the Sanctum Tower, in which case, there is someone to hold the pillar supporting the entirety of Kivotos from turning into No-Man-Land.

At the very least, Sensei could help keep the order in check against the troublemakers using the Shittim Chest.

And now... It's time for the Blue Archive to finally begin telling its story.

But before that... It's time to start another simulation!

"Sensei!"

"What is it, Arona?"

"I've done the thing you asked me to do, the thing about investigating a black haired student in the white mask." Arona's eyes shone, almost as if she were expecting to be praised.

Sensei, not being someone reserved, gave the younger girl a pat on the head. "Good job. Then, did you find anything?" She asked in a low tone.

"There wasn't much to expand on, but based on the CCTV footage surrounding the D.U, she first appeared inside an alley after beating up some thugs!" Arona exclaimed as she played a video of the aftermath.

From the screen, Sensei could make out the familiar back of the student with black hair facing the dark alleyway, not showing a hint of the mask that had covered her face previously.

Unfortunately, they weren't able to find any footage of her face, so Sensei could only see the back of the student.

Of course, the Halo was still the same. The misty form it held didn't make out a set shape. In the video, the shape had been turned into the form of a planet floating above the girl's head.

"I tried to find some more footage, but most of it was corrupted by hackers... I'm sorry, Sensei!" Arona pouted.

"It's alright. You've done a good enough job, worthy of praise. Raise your head, Arona." Sensei smiled softly as she comforted the girl.

"So, does that mean she's not affiliated with any school?" Sensei looked at the CCTV footage, her eyes focusing on the clothing of the girl, looking for any signs of a school's logo or symbol.

"From the database, there are no records of a student using the mask you've described. I'm sorry I couldn't find more..."

"It's fine~ It's quite a hard task trying to investigate a mysterious student, I guess." Sensei smiled. "But it doesn't seem like she's the type to destroy for no reason. The reason I asked you to investigate her was so I could visit her personally and give her my thanks for holding the Fox of Calamity at bay."

"But if she doesn't accept visitors, there's nothing we can do."

"Is that so?" Arona tilted her head slightly in confusion. But if Sensei said it's fine, then it's probably fine.

"So? Is there any task that requires my immediate attention?"

"If it's immediate then... There's the Foreclosure Task Force's email for help that was sent a couple of days ago. It is saying that they're requesting immediate logistic support for ammunition and explosives..." Arona said as she scrolled through her head.

"Foreclosure Task Force? Where is that?"

Arona scrolled through the database, and as she made her way to the Foreclosure Task Force, she realized that it was located in the Desert of Abydos Autonomous District... "Um..."

Arona scratched her head, not knowing how to explain this to Sensei... But then she suddenly gained enlightenment.

"Sensei! The thing is, the Foreclosure Task Force is located in the middle of the Abydos District." She started, "But it was consumed by the sandstorm a couple of years back, leaving only a couple of students behind to take care of their school."

She continued, "But I can contact an individual who could help us navigate the place! She's actually a graduate from Abydos High School!"

"A graduate? In that case, she must be reliable..." Sensei concluded from Arona's words.

"Alright then. So you're saying that I should have that graduate as my guide so that I don't get lost in the desert?"

"Exactly, Sensei! You're so smart!" Arona beamed.

"Let me connect your tablet to that person's contact..." After she said that, Sensei waited for a bit as her tablet's screen turned from Arona's classroom into the sight of her calling someone.

Written on the contact information was the student's name:

Kuchinashi Yume
