Slobodan knows that he shouldn't mess with her like this. Not because he is scared to get into a fight with her, wheter it would be verbal or physical one. Verbally, he saw that she seems like an honest person, so he could talk to her seriously. And if she gets to attack him physically , he could take a punch or two, no matter how strong she seems.
His physique is better than the average person, due to him being in athletic club for 10 years.
Countless hours of running and practices shaped him to whitstand in a direct fight.
Once again, the problem isn't fear or anxiety. It's guilt.
He felt bad that he had to bite the hand that feeds him. The weird girl came to his rescur, offering her had, and he is going to spit on it.
But he had to, because his pride wouldn't let him otherwise.
After helping him, Slobodan went to his seat. He picked up his own pencil, and started to spin it between his fingers, trying to act cool and nonchalant, as if he wasnt getting a death stare behind him.
Pravda motionlessly stood there, observing his actions. At first she was confused and in disbelief, but after couple of seconds, she inhaled deeply and calmed down. Couple of more seconds later, she eventually asked, her voice full of resolve:
"Can we talk outside? There is still some time before the start of the class. "
He really, really, really, didn't want to. He didn't want to involve with his classmates anymore, and especially not with her. But he needed to explain some things to her. He needed to explain that he is actually fine with these people around him, that he doesn't mind their hurtful comments, and that she doesn't need to bother herself with him anymore.
Plus, he would feel bad to just leave things like this. After all, she did step in to help him.
Which he, respected?
He didn't appreciate it, he doesn't like people who meddled in his life. But he understands that she stood up for him, which he found heartwarming.
He is really bad with sorting his feeling out.
Both of them discreetly went out of the classroom, trying to attract as little people as possible. He went first, since he is more invisible, and then her.
They were now standing in the hallway. There weren't that much students here, and even if couple of them showed up, they would quickly go their way.
Both of them were now able to talk more freely, and without any interruption.
