How far can a person go for a dream? What would they sacrifice, what risks would they take? I had never pondered this. Frankly, the answer never concerned me. I was born intelligent, first in everything, graduating university early, poised to begin my work on the path to becoming a great scientist. I never had the time for such trivial contemplations.

Until that day. The day I saw something I was never meant to see.
