*~Gabrielle's POV~*
He immediately went off with some of the wolves while I stayed behind, clutching the book tightly to my chest. I needed to start preparing the next question I would ask—the last and final one. It had to be smart, powerful, and meaningful enough to help me get the answers I truly needed.
I whispered softly to myself, rereading the words over and over, when suddenly a loud shout tore through the air.
"Lady Gabrielle! We found them!"
"What?" I gasped, dashing forward with the other wolves toward the direction of the voice.
The sight that met my eyes made my mouth fall open in horror.
My sisters—tied to trees at the edge of a cliff, their wrists bound tightly, their faces pale and weak.
"Oh my God!" I screamed, rushing toward them.
But before I could take another step, the guard grabbed me by the arm and yanked me back. "Lady Gabrielle! Look!"
