One month later.
Human world – Germany – Late – Oldenburg.
The free state, one of the few places which supernatural beings have not touched, nor set foot on its lands, walking through it in the middle of the rain with umbrellas in their hands, two figures could be seen.
This being none other than a pair of heroes, the girl carried a spear tied to her back and the boy beside her a shield also tied to his back.
The couple chatted happily, unaware that they were being watched, and not by curious eyes.
Not far from the couple, a modest old house could be seen, but standing at its window, a pair of golden eyes blinked, calmly observing the couple.
A naked figure in the fogged-up window, none other than Naruto, calmly looked at the duo of heroes.
Behind him on the bed, a redhead could be seen lying on the bed breathing heavily, her naked body glistening with sweat as a whitish substance came out of her privates and buttocks, staining the bed.
This was none other than Rias Gremory herself , Naruto's "stepdaughter".
"Naruto-sama".
A voice sounded from outside.
Naruto: "Come in..." - he replied calmly, watching the raindrops fall when he heard the sound of the door opening, but he still didn't turn around. His attention was on the gullible people who were walking around armed, trying to give some sign of hope to the other gullible humans.
Grayfia paused for a second at the strong smell of sex that assaulted her nostrils, something that made her bite her lip to mitigate the burst of lust that wanted to course through her body.
Grayfia entered the room ignoring the mess in it and the almost dead young woman on the bed, her gaze focused on her husband or more specifically on his firm butt.
"Don't stare at my butt."
Grayfia sweated at Naruto's words; it was just a glance, besides, he looks at her and they even do things in the bedroom.
Grayfia sighed and stood next to Naruto, observing, just like him, the beautiful appearance of the garden with the pleasant rain falling.
Grayfia: The news has spread, the new empress of humanity is calling us to an alliance, she doesn't want any more war against us… - she said softly to Naruto who hummed.
Naruto: "Suddenly?... – he asked curiously."
Grayfia denied it.
Grayfia: She's been proposing it for a while now, ever since she was popularly chosen for her power and for repelling the children of the former Maous, saving many. Her faction is strong... strong enough to repel the faction of humans who hate us, and it has more Secret Gear users, the two Heavenly Dragons, the support of the Sky Faction, and the fallen remnants... - she calmly explained to her husband.
Naruto: "The features?... – I ask him."
Grayfia: They haven't moved from their places after learning of the fall of the Fallen and Olympian factions, and also because we started this war with the human world… they are cautious. Lady Marianne acted very swiftly with her disappearance, making it seem as if you were simply waiting silently for the biggest idiot to step forward… - she replied, the last part with a smile spreading across her naturally cold and professional face.
Naruto: I expected Shiva or Indra to move… - he exclaimed, a little surprised that those two hadn't.
Grayfia denied it.
Grayfia: They have their own people to protect, and we're being aggressive. They doubt us, but according to our intelligence, Indra has met with Azazel… - she revealed to Naruto, who nodded.
Naruto: I had forgotten that we have those human infiltrators, they want immortality and a place in our lands, right?... – he asked Grayfia curiously, who nodded.
Grayfia: You're not wrong. In such a situation, it's foolish to fight for someone you don't know and who's just using you. At least with us, she knows we're using her and will give her benefits that her current leaders and friends don't. Although our daughters are very persuasive... bringing up the fact that Heaven doesn't accept them in its safe territory, but instead leaves them to their fate in the human world, which is a battlefield, and yet still uses them, reflects their nature... - she replied with an amused smile, thinking of her daughter.
Naruto: Interesting, later we'll unleash another wave of attacks and then I'll meet with this so-called empress... - he commented calmly.
Grayfia raised an eyebrow.
Grayfia: Will the war ever end?... – she asked curiously.
Naruto: It depends on whether they satisfy me. We still have useless ones in our ranks, and as for the humans, we've already eliminated a large part of the dead weight. Now we have to balance things out and take their territory, which is central to all the factions... I'm going to push them into a corner until they either declare war on us or accept my supremacy... - he replied with a slight smile to Grayfia, who put a hand to her chin.
Grayfia: I know you're not doing this just to be an evil idiot, you're over that phase and I'm over my rebellious phase... What are you looking for?... – she asked curiously, turning to look at Naruto who sighed.
Naruto: Control and real power… Grayfia raised an eyebrow… My mother, Azula, and I conducted a study years ago and noticed that the Underworld is an arrogant joke with no real power except for a select few, while the rest are just cannon fodder. The lords monopolize "power" when they're actually low-class, believing themselves superior simply because of their bloodline, when they're actually useless. The only noteworthy thing about them is what they inherit from previous generations: territories, money, and that kind of nonsense, but nothing more. We pit them against half-bloods, and they'll be humiliated… So now we're forcing them to fight for their lives, whether they like it or not. They either become strong or they die… - he explained calmly to Grayfia, who frowned, not understanding the logic.
Naruto: These nobles have the blood and the potential, but they don't strive, only a few... I don't like it. I don't want eternal parasites... I want warriors. I noticed that mistake when I participated in the war, and I stood out against millions of demons older than me who died for a simple spear of light... I have a vision beyond that. I want a strong Underworld... - he told Grayfia, who more or less understood the meaning of what her husband was doing, and she couldn't refute him. All the demons before aspired to be more politicians than warriors... eternal parasites, as her husband called them, who is destroying an ideology of centuries, possibly since the creation of the Underworld. But well, a good wife supports and remains silent.
Naruto smiled, noticing that Grayfia had no more questions. That way, he wouldn't have to explain that he wanted a hell slightly similar to Satan 's , ruled by absolute power, and to see beyond, after conquering all this, there are other hells... paradises for the Phoenix.
Naruto: Well, let's leave politics aside... - he said, attracting Grayfia's attention, who looked like she was being attacked by a deep kiss and something that tickled her stomach, hard and warm.
Grayfia moved her hand and held it while returning her husband's kiss, admitting that she also came with this intention and to give the girl in bed a break, who had lost her voice because of this incubus.
Naruto tasted Grayfia's lips, which had a different taste than Rias's, and her body had a unique aroma.
Grayfia stepped back with her tongue sticking out slightly as she looked at Naruto.
Grayfia: It'll just be sex, nothing more, Phoenix... - she said seriously to Naruto, who smiled.
Naruto: I'm a phoenix, we don't have sex... we reproduce... I'm going to fertilize you deeply... - he said with a smile, hugging her, but Grayfia shook her head.
Grayfia: No sex, Phoenix, I have to be ready for a super epic battle with my wayward little brother… - she said seriously, letting out a bit of her true personality.
Naruto chuckled softly, knowing that this professional Grayfia was just a fetish of his rebellious devil.
Naruto did not respond and approached again, kissing Grayfia, who moaned as she felt her rear end being squeezed and began to rub against Naruto.
Japan – Ruin outside Kuoh – Resistance base – Rooftop.
Sitting there with his face bandaged, as well as one of his arms, could be seen hyōdō issei, the current sekiryuutei, one of the pillars of humanity.
Issei gazed wistfully at the destroyed city; it used to be his home… so beautiful and vibrant, before the arrival of those damned demons… Yes, demons. Not even the other factions are as vile as those damned bastards who revel in the chaos and pain of others. They killed millions of innocents and continue this senseless war. It literally is senseless; the war was already going on before Raiser's death.
Issei sighed. Even with that death, neither the Demon King nor the monster Leviathan, brought to the world by Asia, had spoken out… That's the only good thing. Leviathan, which doesn't have an Elohim to banish it, is worse. Only Raiser's sisters have spoken out, attacking left and right. He whispered,
"They claim the Demon King is weak, but going to the Underworld is madness. They can't even support themselves or their families in the human world."
"Oh, there you are, Issei."
A soft voice came from behind Issei, pulling him from his thoughts, but he didn't turn around when someone approached, drawn by the sound of footsteps, before sitting down beside him.
Issei sighed and glanced sideways at his "friend" - a real nuisance - Cecilia Alcott, 15, a survivor of the England attack.
Cecilia has light blue eyes and long, light blonde hair that forms drill-shaped curls at the ends, along with a royal blue headband holding her hair. She is extremely beautiful and has a slender and voluptuous figure; possessing a large bust, narrow waist, and curvy buttocks, she wears a dark blue dress… truly beautiful and busty.
Issei looked away; he really didn't feel like looking at her appearance, and besides, her behavior contrasted sharply with her looks… she was truly annoying.
Cecilia gazed calmly into the distance.
Cecilia: Caocao was beaten up in the Middle East by a demon called Valak. According to him, Valak is anything but normal and has the ability to possess people. Azazel knows nothing about this demon and has already issued an alert. Our superior wants us to help move Pryscilla to another secret base.
He has a bad feeling, and we're already abandoning the one we have in Kuoh… - she calmly informed her friend of the latest news.
Issei nodded, truly the world has gone to hell.
Draig scoffed, barely noticing.
"Rigggg…
A strange sound rang out as a magic circle appeared in Issei and Cecilia's ears.
"An emergency, we need them ready for a mission in Germany."
Issei sighed, he hasn't even fully recovered yet.
Cecilia blinked, she did too.
Draig had a bad feeling; whenever the word "emergency" was mentioned, it foretold something bad.
Underworld – City of Lilith – Phoenix Castle – Phoenix Office.
Seated in this room, Marianne could be seen behind the Maou's desk signing some documents when the door to his office was opened.
Marianne raised an eyebrow only to sigh at the sight of the group of idiots who entered, but as the representative of her beloved son she has to be transparent and receive every fool who comes to visit the Maou, politics, but the good thing is that she can throw them out after listening to what they have to say.
Sirzechs, Zekram, and other devils seriously observed the woman who currently controls the underworld, not even Naruto.
Zekram grimaced; this bastard who should be having tea with other ladies and leaving all this to the men once again blocked his path with his pure class proposals, which sparked support from some lords for his cause and party, which they believed had no real power.
Zekram sighed.
Marianne: May I ask what you need?... – she asked in her soft but professional voice, leaving the Phoenix stamp aside.
Zekram stepped forward.
Zekram: We've come to formally request a motion. We disagree with the name change of Agreas, nor with the city of Lilith. This should be discussed by a higher council since it affects the underworld just like the war we're waging in the human world… - he said seriously to Marianne, with the others nodding in support but respectfully, not turning this into a debate, since last time Marianne had dismissed them cruelly without a shred of mercy, not even letting them speak, so they had to abide by the rules and speak one by one.
Marianne hummed.
Marianne: "Motion? Besides, I believe the war has already been clearly discussed, and the Underworld is not affected at all. In fact, we recovered it, including the areas the Fallen had taken... The other races in the Underworld are our allies. We are self-sufficient, and this war shouldn't concern them. It's simply an order, and you, as servants, must obey it like everyone else. I don't see many complaining, like your group.
The young ones are gaining prestige and power, and they are developing very well.
They remember what they are and the power their houses represent, so they don't let political nonsense get in the way. Now, regarding the motion, it will be discussed by the Supreme Council and broadcast throughout the Underworld. Is that enough?" I ask them curiously.
Sirzechs: "We want one of our representatives at the meeting…" he exclaimed. He knew that this high council was composed solely of Naruto's allies. He had to do something to remove them or stop them. They were monopolizing the Underworld. This castle was no longer even called Lucifer Castle in honor of the great Maou, but Phoenix Castle now, and the Phoenix territory began to be called the Fire Nation, a name they wanted to consolidate throughout the Underworld. They couldn't accept this.
Marianne: Oh, that's a very interesting request... but you don't have the prestige to make such a request of mine... - she said calmly, shaking her head.
Sirzechs clicked his tongue as the power of destruction faintly flashed in his eyes.
" No...
Zekram felt a dip in his stomach as he felt the slight spike in power.
Sirzechs' other supporters looked at him in alarm; he couldn't do that.
Marianne blinked and looked at the young Sirzechs, a curious look that made everyone feel uneasy except for Sirzechs, who was already tired of being suppressed.
"Traitor".
A whisper snapped Sirzechs out of his anger and he blinked.
Sirzechs: No, and… - he didn't finish as a light enveloped the office.
"¡BOOOOOMMMMM!".
A powerful explosion resounded right in the Maou's office, alerting the guards who noticed several demons escaping.
"TRAITORS, CATCH THEM, THEY TRIED TO KILL ME!"
A powerful scream resounded, revealing Marianne through the smoke screen on the third floor of the castle.
Marianne smiled, she's not her son, she'll get rid of them sooner rather than later and besides, they've cornered them too much, they have no way out to be fun... so it's better to accuse them of treason, now that will be fun.
Azula suddenly appeared next to Marianne, watching the devils escape.
Azula: I'll give them time… - she replied calmly before turning around.
Marianne did not respond, but they understood each other, although Marianne had not let go of her resentment towards her now daughter in some way; she still hates her.
Marianne unfurled a magic circle on her ear.
Marianne: Send Hilda and the new girl Rin to clean my office… - she said before disappearing through a magic circle.
Human World – Japan – Night – Kyoto – Yasaka Temple
Having arrived at the ruins of the temple belonging to the yokai leader who had migrated to the underworld, Issei and Cecilia studied their surroundings, not sensing any enemies nearby.
Issei:Let's move… — he muttered with a slight grimace. The healing of those angels can't compare to Asia's. Their healing still leaves the pain deep in my bones.
Cecilia ascended, and the two infiltrated the destroyed temple. According to Azazel, he had discovered a secret passage based on the memories of a rebellious yokai currently on his operating table… There was an enemy sealed in a vessel here, a being sealed by Yasaka's own mother, and amid the chaos of their escape, the vessel might still remain.
Issei accepted the mission, but he believed that any supernatural being sealed away was a potential final enemy—especially if it discovered the current state of the world. They couldn't be trusted, but according to Azazel, he had a way to control them and make them fight for his cause.
Issei and Cecilia entered the ruins of the collapsed temple carefully, not wanting to make it crumble further and draw the attention of any enemies or humans. Not all Sacred Gear users were their allies or friends; some had simply become psychopaths in the midst of the chaos.
Cecilia headed quickly toward what should have been the room of the yokai princess, Kunou Phoenix, the only one who had yet to appear in the war.
Issei followed Cecilia, who noticed the plaque with the girl's name and entered the destroyed room. She quickly activated her eyes, sending a green pulse through the space. Cecilia's now-green eyes detected subtle wind currents being imperceptibly absorbed by several cracks in the floor.
Cecilia:Looks like the information was solid… she said confidently to Issei as she approached a corner of the room. She moved a rock aside and placed her palm on the floor, sending another pulse that made the ground glow.
Cecilia jumped back while Issei summoned his gauntlet just in case.
The duo watched as a strange dark hole revealed itself. If not for their abilities to see through darkness, they might have abandoned the mission due to how disturbing the scene was.
Issei approached, noticing a staircase.
Cecilia:You go first… she said seriously, making Issei break out in a cold sweat.
Minutes later
Issei and Cecilia reached the bottom when the strange place suddenly lit up. Torches flared to life, illuminating a hallway that soon revealed a strange altar.
Cecilia exhaled in relief—without a doubt, a successful mission.
Issei observed the place carefully, not sensing any traps. The ground was wet, showing no footprints except for tiny rodents like ants.
Issei:Let's do this quickly, and don't touch anything. We're not freeing anything. Let Azazel handle that and deal with the consequences… he said firmly. Cecilia pouted, but continued forward anyway.
The duo approached, and Issei noticed three vessels instead of the one Azazel had mentioned—and not just one passageway, but three.
Cecilia blinked as she recognized the seals of preservation, containment, and anti-intrusion.
Issei stepped forward with his gauntlet ready—only to freeze, cold sweat breaking out across his forehead.
Cecilia:Issei?… she asked, moving beside him. She saw the look of horror on his face as he clenched his teeth.
"I knew you'd run into the devil,"
Ddraig commented calmly.
"Oh? If it isn't Issei."
A voice echoed, freezing Cecilia in place.
Impossible, impossible, impossible, she repeated in her mind. It was a secret mission, and they had been extremely careful on the way. They hadn't even waited for all the high-ranking leaders to hear about it—they departed minutes after learning the details due to its importance.
"Your girlfriend? A pleasure… I'm Naruto. Naruto Phoenix."
Cecilia's stomach sank as her body began to tremble.
"Hehe…"
