Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: THIS IS NIGERIA

As they walked away from the clock tower, Patrick's mind turned to their next move. "We need to lay low for a while," he said, his eyes scanning the horizon.

Sophia and Cheryl nodded in agreement. "Somewhere safe," Sophia added.

Patrick's thoughts turned to his connections in Nigeria. "I have some friends in Nigeria," he said. "We could go there, hide out for a bit."

Cheryl's eyes narrowed. "Nigeria? Isn't that a bit of a risk?"

Patrick shrugged. "My friends are trustworthy. We'd be safe with them."

Sophia's face lit up with interest. "It could work. We could start fresh, leave everything behind."

Cheryl nodded, her expression softening. "Okay, let's do it."

As they made their way to the airport, Patrick's excitement grew. Nigeria, with its vibrant culture and warm people, seemed like the perfect place to start anew.

As they boarded the plane, Sophia leaned in close. "A new beginning," she whispered, her eyes sparkling.

Patrick smiled, feeling a sense of hope he hadn't felt in a long time. "Together," he replied, his arm around her and Cheryl.

The plane took off, leaving their past behind. As they soared into the sky, Patrick knew that no matter what lay ahead, they'd face it together.

As the plane soared through the skies, Patrick's excitement grew. "You guys are going to love Nigeria," he said, a grin spreading across his face.

Sophia and Cheryl exchanged curious glances. "What makes you so sure?" Sophia asked.

Patrick's eyes sparkled. "The culture, the food, the music – it's all so vibrant and alive. We'll go to music concerts, dance to Rema's beats, sing along to Davido's hits, and vibe to Asake's fusion of Afrobeats and trap."

Cheryl's face lit up. "That sounds amazing!"

Sophia nodded, her interest piqued. "I've heard great things about Nigerian music. I'd love to experience it firsthand."

Patrick's enthusiasm was infectious. "We'll immerse ourselves in the culture, try all the local cuisine, and soak up the atmosphere. You'll fall in love with Nigeria, I promise."

As the plane continued on its journey, Sophia and Cheryl chatted excitedly about their upcoming adventure. Patrick smiled, feeling grateful for his friends and the new experiences that awaited them.

The hours flew by, and before long, the plane touched down in Nigeria. As they stepped out into the warm sunshine, Patrick knew that this was just the beginning of an unforgettable journey.

As they made their way through the airport, Patrick's friends, who had connections in Nigeria, were waiting for them. They were warmly greeted and whisked away to a luxurious villa on the outskirts of Lagos.

The villa was a haven of peace and tranquility, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene atmosphere. Sophia and Cheryl were amazed by the beautiful decor and the warm hospitality of their hosts.

Over the next few days, they settled into a comfortable routine, exploring the city, trying local cuisine, and enjoying the vibrant music scene. Patrick took them to a Rema concert, where they danced the night away to his infectious beats.

As they immersed themselves in Nigerian culture, Sophia and Cheryl fell in love with the country's warm and welcoming people. They knew they'd found a temporary haven, a place to heal and recharge.

One evening, as they sat on the villa's patio, watching the sunset, Patrick turned to them with a smile. "So, what do you think of Nigeria so far?"

Sophia and Cheryl exchanged a look, their faces glowing with happiness. "We love it," Sophia said, her voice filled with sincerity.

Cheryl nodded in agreement. "The people, the culture, the music – everything is just so amazing."

Patrick grinned, feeling grateful to have shared this experience with his loved ones. "I'm glad you're enjoying it," he said, his eyes shining with happiness.

As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, Patrick knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. And he was excited to see what the future held for them.

Patrick's eyes sparkled as he showed Sophia and Cheryl the stunning property in Banana Island, Lagos. The luxurious house, with its sleek design and breathtaking views of the marina, seemed like the perfect place to start their new life.

"I'll buy it," Patrick said, his mind made up. "We'll make this our home, our sanctuary."

Sophia and Cheryl exchanged a look, their faces lighting up with excitement. "We'll love it here," Sophia said, her voice filled with anticipation.

The purchase was finalized, and they moved into their new home, surrounded by the beauty and vibrancy of Lagos. They spent their days exploring the city, trying new foods, and enjoying the warm hospitality of the Nigerian people.

As they settled into their new life, Patrick, Sophia, and Cheryl knew they'd found their haven. They'd left their past behind and were ready to face the future together, as a family.

The house in Banana Island became a symbol of their new beginning, a place where they could live life to the fullest and create unforgettable memories together.

Patrick, Sophia, and Cheryl upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro, which starts at $1,099 for the 256GB model. They also got new phone numbers and a debit card in Nigeria to start fresh.

With their new iPhones and debit cards, they're ready to take on their new life in Nigeria. The iPhone 17 Pro's advanced camera system, fast performance, and long battery life will surely make their transition smoother. Like the phone was worth that amount though.

Sophia discovered a concert featuring Eframe Brown in Calabar while browsing her iPhone. Excited by the prospect of enjoying live music, she, Patrick, and Cheryl decided to fly to Calabar in disguise. They likely wanted to maintain a low profile and fully immerse themselves in the concert experience without drawing attention.

As they arrived in Calabar, Sophia, Patrick, and Cheryl shed their everyday personas and transformed into their disguises. They donned wigs, hats, and sunglasses, blending in with the crowd.

The excitement was palpable as they made their way to the concert venue. The atmosphere was electric, with fans buzzing about Eframe Brown's performance.

As they took their seats, the lights dimmed, and the crowd erupted in cheers. Eframe Brown took the stage, his voice soaring as he performed hit after hit.

Sophia, Patrick, and Cheryl lost themselves in the music, singing along to every word. They danced, waved their hands, and let go of their worries, immersing themselves in the rhythm and melody.

The concert was a resounding success, with Eframe Brown delivering an unforgettable performance. As the night drew to a close, Sophia, Patrick, and Cheryl reluctantly made their way out of the venue, grinning from ear to ear.

"That was amazing!" Sophia exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.

Patrick and Cheryl nodded in agreement, already planning their next move. "Let's do it again sometime," Patrick suggested, his smile infectious.

As they made their way back to their hotel, the music still resonating in their minds, they knew that this night would be etched in their memories forever.

As they sipped their drinks, they flipped through the Sunwalker magazine, discovering the rich cultural heritage and attractions of Calabar. The magazine highlighted local dishes, sparking their curiosity.

"Let's try some of these local specialties," Sophia suggested, her eyes scanning the menu.

Patrick and Cheryl nodded in agreement, and they ordered a selection of dishes, including Edikang Ikong, Afang soup, and Akara.

The waiter brought out the dishes, and they hesitantly took their first bites. The flavors exploded on their taste buds, a symphony of spices and herbs.

"Wow, this is amazing!" Sophia exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise.

Patrick and Cheryl nodded in agreement, savoring the unique flavors. They explored the local cuisine, discovering new favorites and enjoying the warm hospitality of the restaurant.

As they finished their meal, they felt grateful for the experience, knowing that this culinary adventure would be a memorable part of their trip.

As they finished their meal, Sophia noticed a peculiar individual lingering around the restaurant, eyeing them suspiciously. She nudged Patrick and Cheryl, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Look at that guy over there. I think he's been watching us."

Patrick and Cheryl followed her gaze, their eyes locking onto the mysterious figure. He seemed out of place among the lively atmosphere of the restaurant.

Suddenly, the individual approached their table, his eyes fixed intently on them. "You're not who you seem to be," he said, his voice low and mysterious.

Sophia, Patrick, and Cheryl exchanged uneasy glances. How did he know?

"Who are you?" Patrick demanded, his tone firm.

The stranger smiled enigmatically. "Someone who knows more about you than you'd like. Meet me outside if you want to know the truth."

With that, he turned and disappeared into the crowd, leaving Sophia, Patrick, and Cheryl staring at each other in confusion and concern.

"What do we do?" Cheryl whispered.

Patrick's eyes narrowed. "Let's find out what he wants."

As they got up to leave, Sophia's phone buzzed with an unknown number. "Meet me outside," the text read.
