Luciano walked to his room to pick up some documents for the next meeting he had to attend, whilst on call with one of his business managers.
"What do you mean the banks are experiencing investment losses. Didn't we triple our profits by the end of last year?"
He listened to the gloomy words the man was saying, and got angrier by the second.
"So the disconnect is coming from the international branches? Is that what you're saying?"
Luciano sighed, whilst shaking his head. "Fine. I'll set up a meeting. But this rapid sort of loss is unheard of. If we continue this way, that's bankruptcy we're headed for."
He ended the call, and almost punched the wall.
Realising he was already at the door, he just punched in the code instead, and walked in.
He had only taken a few steps in, when he spotted someone turning around.
Valentina turned around, facing him.
"Good, I finally found you," she said.
