AN: edited the ending of the last chapter to make more sense.
As the words left Gemmas's mouth everyone tensed all 5 of us stared at Gemma like he grew a second head except for myself of course 'a fallen creature shouldn't be too far out of my reach as a solo and being a six man hunting party it shouldn't be difficult' I thought as Gemma continued to explain his plan soon everyone got equipped with better memories and we walked out of the bright caste like men going to war.
Aa we approached what was supposed to be the creature's resting spot, Gemma held out a hand and stopped "this where we will scout it out".
Watching the creature indirectly I almost shuddered at how grotesque the creature looked. It was a massive, winged creature with a pale body and black feathers stained by blood, it's body was as pale as the moon and ints numerous limbs moved erratically around it.
As we all got behind cover to plan the attack, one of the hunters Rasen ,looked directly at the creature by accident, the creature now alerted immeadetly took to the skies, screetching like nothing else but a true nightmare creature could.
As it flew around us looking for any weaknesses apparently Gemma snarled "get in position three of you eith me two stay for long ranged support" as I immeadetly stepped up Gemma put out his hand to stop me "you stay for support your a abilities are too useful" as I stepped back immeadetly I couldn't help but feel somewhat regretful that I've hid my abilities the whole time 'I will stop hiding my abilities if one if them is in danger' eyes slightly brightining with determination.
As the creature fell from the skies directly too our hiding place "SCATTER" Gemma roared as the creature hit the building immeadetly going through it and collapsing a few others that were close,
As the creature rose from the ground and looked around I threw one of my daggers infused with two winds hoping to hit one of its eyes unluckily the creature turned noticing Gemma first due to his bigger body as the creature lunged directly at Gemma, as Gemma rolled to the side and swung his axe memory at one of its wing joints and leaving back only receiving a small scratch on his cheek that quickly headed as the other hunters started atttacking as well going for its wings and hind legs he slowly rose into the air unnoticed as he was above the creature he summoned the [Midnight Shard] for the first time in real combat infusing it with both of his augmenting winds he dropped from the skies controlling the wind to have less resisistance against him he fell even faster looking like a small grey meteor as the creature turned its heads to the skies only to screech out in pain as he several one of its wings clean wui kly jumping and rising into the air once, the others stared for but a moment and quickly continued their fight now feeling more motivated and determined.
As he rose into the air once more unnoticed suddenly the creature lunged straight at me I was low enough for it to reach me from the ground up and as the creature's numerous arms reached to me I turned off my flight and augmented my body creating a small shell infront of my torso and back I was sent rocketing back as the multiple strikes hit me the first wind shell shattered in a moment manipulating the wind to slow him down he still crashed into a building, through it and almost got buried in the dirt, adi lay there my mind a web of pain and confusion I could hear multiple voices shouting out my name, as the battle continued I pretended I was hurt more than I actually was and waited a few moments before standing up shakily Summoning one of his [bloody daggers] in my left hand keeping the Midnight Shard in my right I rose into the sky much faster than previously, clearly he underestimated the creature's intelligence.
As Gemma was sent flying his form covered in blood,a hunter it was Rasen was almost crushed when I suddenly crashed into the spire messenger using more blunt force than cutting power sending it flying it like it sent him flying a few moments ago,
Standing with an obvious limp I could hear Gemma calling a retreat but I was done playing around ascending into the air at even faster speeds I de-summoned the [bloody Daggers], taking the [Midnight Shard] into both of my hands infusing it and myself eith one wind each I dropped from the skye like an actuall meteor this time falling directly on top of the nightmare creature,
As I was about to land on it I used all of my momentum and spun in the air doing a overhead swing directly at the creature's head splitting it in half.

As I stared at the runes pretending to fall to the ground from exhaustion, Gemma quickly ran up to me checking condition, scolding on my reckless actions then congratulating for the job well done.
As we all slowly walked back to the bright castle dragging the corpse of the now named Cursed Herald with us I spoke "I received its echo" those four simple words froze everyone as they turned to stare at me Gemma asked "you serious?" I nodded Summoning it as Gemma's face almost broke from hoe wide his grind was he said ,
"then we fly home".
