Chapter 283 - Chapter 283: Gorgon: Too Afraid to Open Her Eyes

After being smothered with affection by both of her sisters one after another, Ana felt like she had already been dead for a while.

The two great elder sisters, Euryale and Stheno, were still just as impossible to deal with as ever.

Now her whole body was covered in their scent, and her face was full of kiss marks from both of them.

"Master, thank you for summoning us and letting us cuddle our little Medusa like this," Euryale said gratefully.

Stheno nodded. For that alone, the trip had already been worth it.

Ana shot Koji a resentful look. This is all your fault. I could have handled Gorgon by myself, but you just had to summon those two little tyrants.

And this was only the beginning, because she knew that as long as her two sisters were here, she would never have a peaceful moment.

"I summoned you mainly because we need to deal with Gorgon next. I figured the two of you would be perfect for that," Koji said with a smile, completely ignoring Ana's resentful little glare.

"Gorgon?"

Euryale and Stheno were both slightly stunned. They turned toward the Temple of Blood, sensing a familiar connection.

The goddess who had been persecuted for being a monster—Gorgon.

So that was it. What a coincidence.

"All right, we understand, Master," Euryale said with a nod. Since it was Gorgon, they could leave it to the two of them.

A full-size Gorgon... she probably would not get broken from a little fun, right? Now this was getting interesting.

The two goddesses curled their lips upward. With support from a Master as absurdly overpowered as this one, they were free from every limitation. And if Gorgon saw the two of them, would she really dare attack?

Ana's mouth twitched. She knew that expression far too well. She was suddenly tempted to observe three days of mourning for Gorgon.

Hopefully, Gorgon would be able to survive the loving care of those two goddesses.

There was no need for any formal greeting when entering the Temple of Blood. With the relationship Stheno and Euryale had with Gorgon, exchanging pleasantries would only be too distant.

"My, my, what dreadful taste. You actually made a place like this?" Stheno, as the eldest of the three sisters, shook her head helplessly at the sight inside the temple.

Other than Manaka Sajyou, no one else could bear to look at it. For Manaka, however, this was nothing.

She was the Princess of the Root. She was not like normal people and had no real sense of empathy.

Deep inside the Temple of Blood—

"Gorgon, open up! We brought you some love!" Koji shouted.

Bubbles churned across the blood pool.

With a great splash, a massive figure emerged from it. She had a human upper body and a serpent's tail, while long venomous snake-hair floated in the air around her. As an Avenger, dense hatred poured from her entire body.

"Who dares disturb me?"

No matter who it was, being interrupted would make anyone angry, much less her.

She was in a terrible mood right now. Little pests like these, who dared disturb her, should all be crushed to death.

"Gorgon, take a good look. See who this is," Koji called out.

"Hm?"

Hearing his voice, Gorgon lowered her head to look.

Her pupils instantly shrank, filled with disbelief.

She almost wanted to shut her eyes and pray this was just a hallucination.

Three purple-haired girls were looking up at her. She knew those three faces all too well. More than that, they were enough to shake her very soul.

What was going on?

Why were they here?

"Gorgon, you seem rather full of yourself," Stheno said, smiling faintly as she looked at that enormous body.

"Ah?"

"S-Sorry! I'm sorry, I…"

Almost as if it were pure instinct, Gorgon apologized at astonishing speed. Was this the special bloodline suppression that only older sisters could bring?

This was Gorgon, not some harmless little lamb.

Everyone stared in fascination. Just what had Stheno and Euryale done to Medusa to leave behind such a huge psychological shadow?

"I've already adjusted your parameters so the gap between you is roughly the same now. The rest is your time," Koji said.

After saying that, he left with everyone else. What came next would surely be a beautiful sight, so it was probably better not to watch.

"Hehe, Master, thanks a lot," Stheno said with a grin as she walked toward Gorgon, who looked like a lamb waiting for slaughter.

A Gorgon this big absolutely had to be played with properly.

"Don't come any closer!"

Gorgon had already realized that she suddenly could not beat them, and on top of that, she had no desire to fight them at all. She could only watch helplessly as the two goddesses walked toward her.

Tiamat's expression changed, and she sent a message to Koji and the others.

"You're saying your true body has awakened?" Koji asked in surprise, understanding what she meant.

Had things gotten so wild in there that Tiamat had been woken up by the noise?

Gorgon carried part of Tiamat's authority, so she was connected to Tiamat. Something happening over there would naturally affect her.

"Tiamat has indeed awakened. This body of mine can't hold on any longer."

Merlin's body began to turn transparent, but he did not seem surprised. Tiamat was the Mother Goddess of Creation, after all.

"Merlin, are you planning to run all the way here as the oldest marathon runner in history?" Manaka asked with a smile.

"A marathon?"

"Heh, that is an interesting way to put it. I suppose that works. After all, there is still plenty of excitement here to watch. It will just be a bit hard on the legs," Merlin said with a chuckle, before completely disappearing from in front of them.

From the moment he used dreams to trap Tiamat, he had known this moment would eventually come.

He had never believed that he could truly keep the Mother Goddess of Creation imprisoned forever.

Once the dream was broken, this body of his could no longer continue to exist.

Actually dying was impossible, of course. Trying to kill him was never that easy. Saving his own life in front of Tiamat was still a very simple matter.

"What a shame. If Merlin had really kicked the bucket, we could've had a funeral banquet," Fujimaru Ritsuka said disappointedly. She had really wanted to attend one.

A funeral banquet for Merlin would definitely have been lively.

Artoria nodded. She had never attended Merlin's funeral banquet either, but Merlin's memorial portrait would probably be indecent anyway.

"Master, I can feel an extremely powerful presence awakening."

Arthur's gaze turned grave. The power of the Mother Goddess of Creation was truly terrifying. It was on a completely different level from that child form.

Tiamat cried out once, and then her body disappeared as well. Once the true body awakened, this divine incarnation naturally vanished.

She had never intended to do anything to this world, but sometimes even she had no choice in the matter.

"My little Tiamat…" Lumine clutched her chest with an extremely heartbroken look. Her tiny Tiamat was gone.

"Stop hamming it up. Tiamat herself will be coming to stand right in front of you," Koji said speechlessly.

What you miss is not Tiamat herself. It is that body of hers.

Gilgamesh had probably sensed it by now too, and he was surely already getting a headache.

Fujimaru Ritsuka let out a faint sigh. What was coming was coming after all.

This Singularity was truly outrageous.

Even the Mother Goddess of Creation had shown up.
