Golden energy swept across the battlefield. The Lahmu might have been Tiamat's creations, but compared to a top-tier Servant like Arthur, there was still a clear gap between them.
And that was with the Holy Sword of the Star still not having fully released its restraints. If it were completely unsealed, then it would be a supreme weapon meant to strike enemies from beyond the world itself.
"One wave after another, and the number of Lahmu hasn't decreased at all." Arthur frowned.
The Lahmu were born from the Sea of Chaos surrounding Tiamat, so as long as Tiamat still existed, they would continue to be born without end.
"We just need to hold the line here. After that, we can leave dealing with Tiamat to my Master's boyfriend." Artoria let out a long breath. Her magical energy reserves were solid enough, but the mental strain was heavy.
There were simply too many Lahmu. After cutting down one huge wave, the ones behind them would immediately rush in to fill the empty space.
"Prince, all you need to do is release the holy sword. These trash mobs won't be able to withstand a single blow." Manaka Sajyou smiled faintly.
"This still isn't the time to use the holy sword."
Arthur shook his head. If he had to release the holy sword just to deal with the Lahmu, then the Holy Sword of the Star would truly be wasted, and it would also trigger the release conditions for no good reason.
An ordinary release was enough. Once Koji's side finished dealing with Tiamat, everything here would be settled.
Manaka Sajyou only smiled without saying anything, her gaze shifting toward the shore.

Merlin stood beside Gilgamesh. The events of this Singularity had actually forced out the mastermind behind the Incineration of Humanity, someone who should not have appeared here.
"It would be stranger if that bastard could sit still. Without Koji and the others, Uruk would already have become a sea of ruins." Gilgamesh crossed his arms and said flatly.
Even in the face of Goetia, his expression did not change in the slightest.
"Variable. Dangerous."

The golden holy sword erupted with incomparable power. A violent storm of magical energy compressed itself upon the golden blade, and cracks appeared in the space around the sword itself, as though it could no longer withstand that power.
Goetia's attack was, without question, on the level of world destruction. It fully met the release conditions of the Holy Sword of the Star. It could be said that it had directly triggered its world-saving special attack.
The Lahmu were not even remotely qualified to make the Holy Sword of the Star release all thirteen seals.
Artoria was somewhat surprised. So this was a holy sword that needed all thirteen restraints to be released before it could be fully unleashed. In that regard, it was actually a little similar to the Holy Grail.
"Excalibur, Sword of Promised Victory!"
Arthur suddenly swung the Holy Sword of the Star toward the sky. An incomparably thick pillar of golden light shot upward and directly blasted back the attack released from Goetia's band of light.
"What?"
Goetia was slightly startled, clearly not expecting Arthur to unleash such a terrifying attack.

Goetia cast one deep look at this Singularity, then turned and left.
