Chapter 285 - Chapter 285: Return to Mondstadt

Goetia left without hesitation.

There was no profit or advantage in clashing head-on with a Holy Sword Wielder here.

This was not the Temple of Time. No one knew just how strong a Holy Sword Wielder could be at full power in a place like this. If he got himself taken out by accident, then after scheming for so long, everything would end in total failure.

Arthur had not expected Goetia to be this decisive. The full power of the Holy Sword of the Planet was far from limited to what he had just shown.

Human Evil was clearly a special existence, but it posed an enormous threat to civilization. Against something like that, the holy sword could absolutely bring out its true power.

"That's just how Goetia is. Fighting us here doesn't benefit him in the slightest." Koji shrugged. It was exactly what he had expected.

Goetia definitely knew about the Holy Sword of the Planet, and he also knew what kind of existence that sword was meant to oppose. He would not fear it, but he had no interest in provoking that kind of trouble either. It could interfere with his plans.

He had also realized that Arthur was only a Servant and could not remain in this world forever. Goetia was not bored enough to go out of his way just to exchange blows with a Holy Sword Wielder.

"Master, there's nothing else for me to do here, so I should be going as well." Arthur smiled faintly.

This summoning had actually felt pretty good.

He had even gotten to see the female version of King Arthur.

"All right. Take care." Koji nodded and dissolved the Servant contract.

"Prince, let us go as well." Manaka Sajyou smiled slightly. She had not intervened and had remained nothing more than an observer the entire time.

"I know."

Arthur rubbed his brow.

There was still the matter of dealing with that world afterward. He only hoped nothing strange would happen when the time came.

If you don't want Arthur to turn you into a loot drop in the end, stop entertaining those little thoughts of yours.

That was the message Koji sent directly to Manaka.

Her body paused ever so slightly. She said nothing, but no one knew what she was thinking.

Koji had said all he needed to say. If she insisted on refusing to come to her senses, then the one who would suffer in the end would only be herself.

"Shouldn't we be leaving this world too?"

Lumine was already itching to go back and open treasure chests. This world had not had any wild treasure chests at all.

"Yeah. Goldie, we're heading out too." Koji nodded.

"Thank you." Gilgamesh gave his thanks. In a crisis like this, he had barely done anything at all. It almost felt as if he had just come to watch the show.

"No need to be polite. Taking in the scenery of other worlds—that's the road of a traveler." Koji waved it off casually, not caring about that sort of thing.

He had only put in a little effort himself, helping out when he happened to see injustice.

Besides, the one who had truly done the heavy lifting was Arthur. Arthur was the one who had released the Holy Sword of the Planet.

Gilgamesh smiled and shook his head.

What a strange man.

Still, a traveler who could tour other worlds really did live an enviable life.

Gilgamesh did envy it, but he would never have the chance to try an adventure like that himself.

"Tiamat, do you want to come back with us?" Lumine asked expectantly.

Celestia: "What exactly did you just say you wanted to bring back this time?"

Gilgamesh frowned, but said nothing. Tiamat was indispensable to this world. If she left, there was a chance this world might fall into a catastrophic disaster.

Still, perhaps Koji had a way.

"Aaaaah—? Is that really okay?"

Tiamat was a little excited, but she also understood how special her existence was. It should not have been possible for her to leave this world so easily.

"It's fine."

Koji nodded.

This was not a difficult matter at all. It was very easy for him to handle.

As for whether Celestia would be frightened by it, Koji felt they probably would not be. By now, they had likely adapted to this sort of thing already.

Once they returned to Teyvat, the people on Celestia were briefly stunned when they saw Tiamat.

Then they rolled their eyes.

Just as Koji had expected, they really had gotten used to it.

Every time Koji came back, he brought some absurd heavyweight guest with him. After seeing it happen often enough, they had long since stopped finding it strange.

Only this time, the guest he had brought back was a little too extraordinary.

This was a guest on the level of a creator god.

At that thought, Istaroth and the others immediately chose to lie flat and stop worrying about it. If the sky really did collapse, there were people taller than them to hold it up.

"Darling, I'm taking Tiamat out for a stroll. I'll come find you later."

Lumine immediately dragged Tiamat straight toward Natlan.

After all, it was time to open treasure chests. Once she returned to Teyvat, the very first thing she wanted to do was open treasure chests.

Only Teyvat's treasure chests were her true favorites.

Back in Mondstadt, Eula could not help feeling a little emotional. It had been quite a while since she had returned.

The people of Mondstadt did not notice her at all. The Blessing of Concealment lowered her presence, making her seem no different from an ordinary person.

She had been born into the Lawrence Clan.

No matter how much she did, she would never truly be accepted.

"Eula, even if Mondstadt doesn't acknowledge you, you still have us." Koji held Eula's soft hand and laughed lightly.

"Mm." Eula nodded.

Feeling the warmth in Koji's palm, the coldness in her heart eased at once.

She had her own family now too.

They were a bit noisy at times, but life was full and warm.

At the Knights of Favonius—

"Amber, you're here too?" Eula's voice brightened with delight.

Amber was one of the very few friends Eula had in Mondstadt, and their relationship was genuinely close. It had been a long time since they had seen each other, and Eula had really missed her. She went straight over and pulled Amber into a hug.

"Eula?"

Caught off guard by the sudden embrace, Amber was momentarily stunned.

"It's been a long time. You look like you've put on a little weight." Amber teased with a grin.

And to be fair, she was telling the truth.

Compared to the last time they hugged, Eula really had filled out a bit.

"Oh, that's probably because I haven't been exercising much lately." Eula did not mind.

Back when she was the Spindrift Knight, she spent most of her time out in the wild, and her activity level was high. There had been no way she could have gained weight then.

Now, however, she moved around much less, so naturally she had started putting on a bit more flesh.

Still, now that Amber had brought it up, she figured she should do a bit of exercise later so she would not actually end up getting chubby.

"Hehe, it looks like you've been doing really well lately, Eula. That puts my mind at ease." Amber smiled.

Even after leaving Mondstadt, Eula had managed to put on a little weight, which meant her life must have been going pretty well. All of Amber's old worries had apparently been unnecessary.

"But it's been so long, and you never came back to visit me. Don't tell me you forgot all about your friend." Amber deliberately put on a stern face.

Eula hurriedly shook her head.

"No, never. I would never forget you, Amber. I just didn't want you to be dragged into those cold stares because of me."

Amber shook her head with a smile.

"You worried for nothing. When I became your friend, I never cared about something that small. We became friends because we got along."

Eula's heart warmed, and she was deeply moved.
