Before Louise could argue further, Orion shoved him one last time.....this time with enough force to push the Esper across the doorway. The door slammed shut with a loud thud! right in Louise's face.
"What a crazy jerk!" Orion muttered furiously under his breath as he leaned back against the door, panting. His fingers curled at his hips while he glared daggers at the polished floor. "As if carrying Little Potato isn't stressful enough already!"
He let out an exasperated sigh, eyes dropping to the gentle swell of his belly which was actually filled with food though as the baby hasn't started showing. "The baby's just growing, and I'm already dealing with this kind of nonsense."
Outside the room, Louise's footsteps slowly retreated down the hall.....heavy, irritated, and reluctant. Orion waited, listening carefully until the sound faded completely. Only then did he peel himself off the door and shuffle toward the adjoining bathroom.
